- Jessie (3/5): I would never stay at this hotel again - room terrible service. I arrived at 1:30am only to find that the hotel was overbooked and they couldnt check me in. They offered a different hotel 3 miles away, did not offer transportation there (again it was 1:30am). When I looked up the hotel offered to me, a night stay there was $100, whereas I had prepaid $275 for this night. I asked to speak with a manager who was not available. I decided to not check in and instead stayed with a friend overnight. The next day I checked in for my second night and the manager claimed she would refund me for the first night, but they did not do so until several days after my trip when I called back to request the refund. They also didn't refund the tax fee for the first night, and didn't respond to my email when I pointed it out. I had to do a chargeback on my credit card to get that money back. All the staff was also not at all apologetic and stated overbooking was something that happens frequently at this hotel and that its my fault for arriving late and booking through a 3rd party (booking.com).

- Wynter (10/5): My family and I had a very enjoyable weekend in North Hills and will be returning. - Great location, lots of restaurants, shopping centers, grocery store, and even a movie theatre. I didn't get a chance to ride the he shuttle this time, but I definitely loved that there was a shuttle if you needed it. I have small kids the only thing I didn't like was that I had to park in the Harris Teeter parking garage and it was so busy & packed with cars.

When in shower I could see behind mirror that huge amounts of dust.
We were kept awake by extreme noise and had to call front desk. It was coming from next door.
The air conditioning unit was so loud it kept us for hours. So not restful. We were in room 603

- Chris (9/5): Great location, friendly staff, and a comfortable stay overall! - The staff was very welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. The location was also a big plus, everything we needed was close by. Overall, it was a really enjoyable stay. There wasn’t much to dislike. The couch in our room was broken, which was a bit inconvenient. There was also some noise in the hallway with kids running around, but it wasn’t too late at night and didn’t significantly impact our stay.
- Germaine (9/5): Much Better than a place to lay your head. - Loved the location in North Hill at the heart of everything. Lively streets and convenient to most things. Comfy beds and upgraded to a King studio suite from Booking.com so we had a full size fridge and microwave, which we used The location was a bit far from the interstate.

- ClintonA466 (8/5): Blizzard of 26 - Survived the blizzard. Went for a funeral ended up getting stranded. The staff was great and took amazing care. This is smack in the middle of a great shopping and restaurant district. Only complaint is the parking is wacky. In a local garage for a grocery store or at an office park where you have to be out 7-3 weekdays. We did cook a meal when the blizzard hit. Shoutout to Rick.

- Marable (10/5): - Hotel was clean, good breakfast, and nice location. Parking, I perfer to park my own vehicle. However, it's tough finding a parking space. So, valet is the best to do.
- Michiko (6/5): - Bed is too soft and sinking.
- Silas (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Breakfast was average for a free breakfast. Coffee was good, wish you had French vanilla creamer. Staff were wonderful, hotel is very puppy friendly. Thank you for welcoming our furr baby with open arms, she has a wonderful time. Parking was a little dicey for a large vehicle, but we made it work. We will be back again, hopefully soon.
Thank you again,
Lisa
- Ryan (5/5): Will not be returning to this hotel again. - Location was great The outdoor pool was 'closed' because it rained? Seriously? And because it was raining, there was no TV. It feels like I was staying at a friend's house in the 80s. Come on, you are in the Research Triangle and you have satellite TV?
- Lisa (9/5): - Breakfast was great. Location is excellent. I wish the pub had been open to sell food and drinks as it stated online.
- Jordan (9/5): -
- Mesfin A (9/5): Nice happy - I like your fresh and clean breakfast There’s no hot chocolate in the room for option coffee and tea only
- Regina (10/5): -
- Hughes (8/5): - Good overall except lack of easy parking. No easy parking
- linwood (10/5): -
- mcmoores (10/5): Great stay - Enjoyed my stay. Room was nice, comfortable and clean. Friendly service and the hot breakfast was excellent. Will stay here again when in town
- Scheriz (10/5): -
- Lesley (10/5): Will def be back next year - 3rd Christmas there as close to family. Staff are fabulous, clean and comfortable rooms and a great price.
- simhaarun (10/5): Ideal for my brief trip - Was visiting Raleigh NC to take delivery of a new vehicle. It was a short one day trip sandwiched between two 5-hour drives from home in the DC area.
I’ve always relied on Hyatt to get a restful night without any unexpected surprises. The Hyatt House North Hills proved to be just that.
Good preparatory info on parking, late arrival and request for high floor to minimize noise. Very courteous check in process. Good hot breakfast and smooth check out process.
Would highly recommend this location.
- 4ever2xplor (2/5): WARNING Horrible Customer Service - The shower head in one of the bathrooms didn't have much water pressure on the first night, requested repair and a couple towels to the front desk, no repair or towels, reason all maintenance was gone for the day. approx. noon. Also upon checking in for a reservation for 2 bedroom suite I paid in full approximately 4 weeks prior to arriving we were told there were no 2 bedrooms available but we could have 2 one bedroom rooms and hope the next day a 2 bedroom would be available by Christina front manager. Next day a 2 bedroom was available so we had to pack up both rooms and move into the 2 bedroom on the next floor. Upon checkout was promised Christina would give me a call regarding how I would be compensated for the overbooking of my reservation and inconvenience of moving rooms on my vacation. I checked out after 4 nights on the 15th. On Dec 16 I called and spoke with Christina who said she was able to get a refund for half of night one and expect it within 3-5 business days. I called on Dec 23rd because I still had not received a credit on my cc and was following up, spoke with Rebecca, AGM, who was unaware of the problem but promised she would check into it and call me back on the 24th no later than 6 pm. Again I received no call from either manager and called the hotel at around 6 pm and spoke with Brian. Brian informed me neither Christina or Rebecca were in but both would be working on Christmas at 3:30 pm. I called the hotel on Christmas day and spoke with Christina, who now is advising me that I will have to contact AA adavantage to request a refund from them and in the future she advised me not to book through 3rd parties to avoid this. I guess this is now my fault!?! I asked to speak with Rebecca and was informed she called out to spend Christmas with her family. I asked for the regional office for Hyatt Raleigh and she said she could not give that to me, Rebecca might be able. I asked for the hotel manager and was informed that she, Lisa, was on vacation until after the first of the year. I want someone who has some training in customer service to follow up with me because obviously the staff at the Raleigh location are absolutely clueless on making a guest feel like a guest. They need to get some training from the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa in Lost Pines, Texas because they gave 5 star in service and all in their accomodations.
- Lewis (10/5): Nice Hotel - Great Location and Wonderful Staff less noise in the hallways at night.
