- Nirupa (3/5): Not a happy experience - Good selection of meals and restaurant staff were really helpful and approachable. Rooms were not ready when we arrived after 5pm. We were offered rooms on the first floor which were in the main reception and residents' seating area - was very noisy. Our rooms were not cleaned until after 5pm on the first full day. Generally, staff in reception had shockingly poor customer care. Things got better after direct complaints to the Manager, Mr Nikhil. I would not recommend this hotel because of overall poor experience but have praise for the restaurant team and the manager.

Check in / check out process was also tiring. Booked from Expedia with different amount and actual bill was ₹450 extra. I’ve asked for the reason and they made me sit more 10 minutes to figure it out. Finally after pointing the issue they said sorry it was glitch. What if someone didn’t calculate the amount with the calculator literally like me. I would highly not recommend this place to anybody

The staff do not provide extra hand towels and bath towels even upon requesting twice and thrice. First - we didn’t had any towels at all in the room. Upon requesting - they got us one towel between two persons after almost an hour. Travellers be aware - get your towels and napkin from home. Hotel staff bluntly denies on your face that they won’t provide extra hand towels or napkins and bath towels. No matter how much you insist - they simply won’t provide towels 😆😆 This was hilariously disgusting.

- Aishwarya (3/5): JUST NOT WORTH THE MONEY - The location of the property was the only good thing about this place. I have so many complaints regarding this place.
1. The rooms were not at all well maintained.
2. Very untidy and dirty rooms and bathrooms, broken things in the bathroom.
3. There was dust everywhere in the room, especially the coffee mugs and the tray where they put coffee, tea sachets. Ill upload pictures of the coffee mugs. Dust on other things is still fine, but how can you not have clean coffee mugs and glasses. When it comes to food and drinks, hygiene is very important.
4. The staff had no answer when complained about it except apologizing. But when they knew we were going to check in, how can they not keep the rooms clean.

He didn’t Co-ordinate with Mr Balu bhai (taxi) for charges.
2). Mr Balu bhai promised taxi price Rs 4000 Incl tax but I was charged Rs 5026 at the end.
3). Taxi driver is always in hurry to pick from destination Mr Dinesh. We paid high charges but we have to leave destination as per driver as they always complain that they do not have driver. Well that’s not my concern as I paid for the service.
4). Tea : How can u not give tea at 5 or 5:30am.

Rooms were smelling. Bed linen was so old. We had requested for 2 singles but was given 1 double.
- Amit (4/5): Nice hotel but poor service - We booked the Hazel Suite which accommodates 4 guests (2 adults and 2 children), and had confirmed this at the time of booking (3 months prior to check-in).
We again confirmed this via email & phone call 2 weeks prior to check-in and again when we were at Mumbai Airport (4hrs prior to check-in), that we would be arriving and make sure the room is ready with 4 beds.
Surprisingly, the room was not ready and the staff asked us if we wanted extra beds - this took an hour to sort out!
The hotel does not offer currency exchange service, but one of the staff members (Ravi) tried to con us by offering us a very low rate, which we rejected - he wanted a bribe.
On day 2, the room was nicely cleaned but housekeeping forgot to put 4 towels (they only left 2), and had not provided a new toilet roll. My wife went to Reception who then sent 1 hand towel only. Ravi denied being asked for a toilet roll and 2 extra hand towels, even though my wife asked! He wanted a tip for us bothering him - very unprofessional!

- Bhavini (8/5): - The Fern is a lovely property in a dismal location, however we were only visiting for one night as we had a flight to catch the next morning. Room size was generous, nice amenities and in site restaurant was of a good standard. Would visit again if it wasn't for the location. Maybe better in the daytime, but didn't really see the location during the day.

- Aashish (3/5): I would not recommend this hotel to those people who have an issue with hygiene and cleanliness in the rooms. This parti - The property is highly advertised yet the cleanliness is very very poor for a “4 star” hotel. We stayed for a total of 3 nights and had 2 different room types. The first room allocated was a Winter Green room #216. This room had black mold all over the wall. The floor and side tables had plenty of dust and other particles on them. Requested for a room move and was allocated a better room.
The Hazel Suite was our second room which was also not cleaned. It feels as if the beds are made and the floors are wiped briefly and not as per a normal hotel standard. The corridors have carpets to the rooms which seem as if they are only cleaned bi monthly. We requested for the rooms to be thoroughly cleaned and yes the staff did help but I would not recommend this hotel. Not that I was looking for any compensation- nothing was even offered as a gesture of good faith.
As per standard hotel cleanliness this hotel is not recommended yet thinking of the “Fern” Brand people will think otherwise.
On the other hand Yashwanth at reception did assist me well and heard my queries. Thanks for that.

- Vinod (5/5): Mediocre property for the price and location. - Location was apt, in the middle of the city and not far from airport. The property looks old, the only pleasing place is the reception lobby. There were cockroaches over the water kettle. For a 4 star property, the cleanliness and facilities does not match up. The food at the restaurant is passable. The plus was the airport shuttle was provided and on right time.

The main issue with the hotel was the events (weddings) they help where they allowed extremely loud music to be played until late. It was more like being in a night club instead of a hotel, if you value peace and quiet from a hotel do not stay here.
