- SeaTraveler15 (8/5): Perfect stay while visiting relatives in Mesa - We stayed here December 25-28 while visiting family at Leisure World for Christmas. The suite we had was perfect for giving us a kitchenette, dining area for 4, a living room space and a door separating a bedroom with 2 queen beds and a closet, vanity and bathroom with a tub/shower. The front desk staff was both welcoming and accommodating of questions and providing solutions. The free breakfast was fresh and plentiful and well maintained by the staff. The fitness area was clean and had sanitizing wipes and towels for the equipment. The housekeeping staff was helpful in emptying trash and refreshing towels as we chose not to have the room cleaning service during our stay. The proximity to the grocery stores Sprouts and Safeway was helpful. A gas station in front of the hotel with an ATM and market was convenient on Christmas Day. I imagine the proximity to the Banner hospital would be very helpful to those visiting the healthcare facility.
- Nancy (10/5): - Staff and stay were great. It was a roomy suite and a quiet floor. Shower curtain pole was pulled away from the wall on one side but still attached to the wall.

Bed bug bites and overcharged!
confirmed by Doctor, I have Bedbug bites on my lower left leg and right upper back. He said I should notify the hotel for future guests.
I called and confirmed we did not need a code for the medical discount. (We needed the code at a diff hotel in Scottsdale.) When we checked in, I verified we were there for medical reasons and asked what the rate was. He said we would get it at checkout. I have never stayed in a hotel that would not tell me the rate upfront. He ran my CC, but said it would not be charged until we checked out. (I did not prepay) Upon check out, the GM, Tammy would not honor the medical discount. She said because I made the reservation via Expedia, she could not give me the discount (even though I called ahead, and was told when we checked in that we would be on a medical discount rate). Luckily it was only a 3-night stay - but I was mad enough with just those days being at a higher rate.
House keeping did not clean our room on the scheduled day.
Although we will need to return in 6 months, location is perfect - close to medical facility and restaurants... We will never return to this hotel.
- pottsfamily61 (6/5): Mixed view. - Not as good as other residence Inns we have stayed in. Disappointed with certain aspects of this hotel.
Plus points - pool area great in the day time, good gluten free breakfast options (could add GF cereals to the choices though), great staff in the breakfast area and in housekeeping. Great restaurant next door.
Minus points - there was a lot of noise at night from the pool area. Residents gathered there with loud music. Nothing was done by hotel staff to quieten them. We had to request a change of room after 2 noisy nights. Also, kitchenettes were looking rather tired, as were carpets. Dishwasher had rusty baskets/trays which was concerning. Air conditioning in the rooms was very noisy.
Wouldn't stay here again.
- leticia (9/5): - The room was nice and comfortable.
We loved the breakfast. Good options for the whole family. It's hard to find a great continental breakfast. we were very pleased.
Thank you The only thing was the maids did not clean our room, we took the privacy please off the door, so we assume the room would get cleaned.
- aglsjohnston (4/5): Disappointing Stay - This is our 5th stay and likely our final stay. It has been a favorite hotel when visiting family nearby. We came for a special family weekend and the hotel overall was disappointing, which was VERY frustrating. The first 1 bedroom suite offered stunk so bad we could not stay in it. We were offered a studio (lower level room) and then moved the next day to a 1 bedroom, so that was a hassle. Very limited apologies, no credit for lower level room We are long standing Gold members; no recognition of status. The 1 bedroom location was poor - near the side door - where every time someone opened a door, ours banged. Every day we left a nice tip, and we had the most minimal service, including not having coffee replenished and inconsistent towels. Our son also had a 1 bedroom and honestly had fewer issues. However, our reservations were mixed up (I think due to our room move and having two rooms with the same name), and we had to resolve the charges. Hallway floors were dirty. Front desk staff was uncaring and inattentive. Breakfast staff was wonderful. This is a very nice property. We honestly spent a lot of money here with 2 rooms. That I took time to write this is a signal. Up your game!
- Zeinab (1/5): - You doubled my booking and withdrew the amount for the stay twice and I am trying to contact you with no answer
- Andi (7/5): -
- Laura (10/5): Nice property - Nice, clean property. Pool, hot tub, and basketball court on the premises. Nice breakfast offerings.
- Karen (10/5): Great location - The staff and breakfast The fact there was no safe to lock valuables in it.
- Kirk (8/5): - Nice place. Good location close too Phoenix Gateway Airport
- Sharon (10/5): - Great hotel, quiet and clean good staff. Breakfast was good.
- Al (10/5): Pantry option was great - The pantry option for grab and go snacks with concierge service was fantastic!
- Nicole (10/5): - Very clean and staff was friendly.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The main complaints are the tv and the breakfast. The TV guide was on a different time zone and not accurate at all.
The breakfast available contained cheese in all hot food and even the muffins and bagels. For someone that does not like cheese it didn't leave many options.
- Diane (10/5): - Marriott properties are always a win!
- Kelly (10/5): - The suite was exceptionally clean. The beds were firm, yet comfortable. Towels were soft. The breakfast was surprisingly good, with a good variety of different breakfast food. I highly recommend.
- Alexander (10/5): - The staff at this resort went above and beyond what was expected of them. Ashley, at the front desk was incredible and helped us with every issue we had and always with a smile. She is the first person we saw when we checked in and again, her smile, friendliness and especially professionalism is amazing.
- Nelia (10/5): - Staffs are nice and helpful. Overall the property is clean, the furnishings and the bed are great
- joe (10/5): - Nice place
- Annie (10/5): - Amazing stay
- Jonathan (10/5): - Very enjoyable stay.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We reported blood stain on the sheet.
The employees were all surprised they didn’t replace the sheets. We were really shocked
We arrived 2/3am so went straight to bed in the morning We reported first thing to inform the bed sheets were not clean at all, they said they would take care of it right away, then we had to report second time as the sheets were not replaced when we got back at 7p.
They replaced it on the spot. We waited in the room while replaced it. The employees who were working on Thanksgiving day were all very friendly and totally felt bad for the situation and suggested we report this to manager etc
The manager following morning said Expedia will issue refund. Please advise if there is anything you can do to expedite this issue. I’m only writing because we didn’t get the refund for one night of 3 nights we stayed …
Thank you
- Sue (8/5): - The breakfast was tasty with many options. The room was very spacious, but the beds were a bit hard.
- Danny (6/5): - The television in the room did not work for two nights. The night manager seemed to care less. He said there was poor signal getting in the hotel however he was sitting in the lobby watching a big TV just fine. I was very disappointed especially since he could care less.
- Savannah (10/5): Great Location - The hotel is conveniently located near Banner and several restaurants. They have several amenities to use. The hotel and rooms are clean. The beds are extra firm which hurts my back and the pillows and bedding feel stiff as if they’ve been bleached too much and need to be replaced.
- Dava (10/5): - It was just everything you could want in a place to stay. Clean, comfortable beds, easy check-in, great shower. Plenty of room to stretch out.
- Savannah (10/5): Convenient location - The hotel is clean and the ladies working the kitchen were extremely friendly. The bed however, was firm and the pillows flatten instantly. It is conveniently located across from Banner hospital.
- Stephanie (10/5): - Checked in and was double charged for incidentals. Only negative part. Otherwise this hotel is clean and our room was spacious. Nearby plenty of dining options.
- Donna (8/5): - Room is a bit dark with yellowish lights but it’s clean .
- Lorraine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Redy (10/5): - Get property. Ben was super helpful with providing me info when I called to inquire prior to booking and even more detailed upon check in. Room was much more spacious than I anticipated, I truly understand why some people opt to live in hotels; that was indeed an actual studio apartment (lol). I do think the property needs some fresh coat of paint and to change the marble countertops; the color makes the space look dated. Otherwise, I’m a happy member.
- James (8/5): I was very happy and I will come back again when I return to the area! - I didn't have breakfast but the staff was very good and helpful during my stay. The room was very good with a lot of room and clean!
- Amy (10/5): - Ben was amazing with our check-in, very helpful, and had the answers to our questions.
- Elbert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yesenia (9/5): Superb - The little cooking every other refrigerator dishes that were provided extra towels and blankets Room was a little hot needs a better AC vent
- Vern (10/5): - It was a nice day
- Teresa (10/5): - Great breakfast spread with many hot and cold options each day. Spacious, clean rooms. Very friendly staff.
- Lonnie (10/5): - The staff was very welcoming. The room was very clean. Breakfast provided was excellent.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel - Hotel location very convenient and comfortable. The only complaint is the bathroom is outdated. Older Tub instead of walk-in shower (as experienced in other RI - it did have a semi-circle shower curtain pole but a standard size shower curtain so it didn’t cover from side to side.
- Renee (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was clean and close to the airport. Shuttle to the airport was not running during a time that was helpful to me. My flight left at 7:20AM and the shuttle did not start until 8AM.
My Marriott account was not able to be looked up with my email address and my phone number was not recognized.
The towels at the pool were very small.
- Climber477467 (2/5): Worst Marriott experience ever! - Payed almost 900 hundred dollars for 5 nights. Can’t get anyone to clean the room or even replace towels. Service sucks. We travel often and this has been the worst experience ever. Don’t recommend. Get an Airbnb, you’ll be better off. They don’t even try to help.
- Deborah (4/5): Not worth the money. - One word: lousy Insulation, no view, too crowded with furniture unfriendly staff.
- Gary (10/5): - The only complaint was how hard the beds were, the property itself and the staff were amazing
- GLORIA (10/5): - *
- Trevor (2/5): - Room was not at all what the pictures represented, dirt, grime, broken furniture. When I talked to the staff they didn't do anything to help and accused us of lying.
Had to move to a different hotel.
- Haylie (10/5): - It was a great experience and the staff was very friendly!
- Q5790RXangelaa (2/5): Stolen Tires at Residence Inn parking lot - NOT safe at night. We stayed here a week and after four nights our car window was broken and rims and tires were stolen from our SUV. They had it in camera and police took a report but after we got our car fixed we had family drop us off at night and keep our car. Very disappointed.
- jason (2/5): - On our fourth night here our car was put on blocks, window smashed in and all four tires and rims gone on our suv. They had video of the guys doing it but the police have no idea who it is just that it’s happening a lot around that area. The hotel didn’t seem to care. It was very disappointing. We didn’t have anything fancy on our 2018 suv.
- Lacey (10/5): - Staff was so helpful and hotel was great
- Michael (4/5): - The facility is nice. However, housekeeping does not exist. They never came and cleaned our room or took and replaced the towels. We stayed for several days and never had housekeeping. We inquired about it and still, nothing. So, if you like living amongst accumulated garbage and used towels, this is the place for you.
- Jerry (10/5): - Only complaint, the hot water in the shower was not real hot.
- Joshua (4/5): It’s a nice hotel for $150 a night I paid $400 not worth it - Looked nice online Very basic hot lobby
- Daniel E. (6/5): - It was fine, it was slightly less than you would expect for a Resident Inn.
Trash cans were left in the hallway.
- Robert (8/5): Great stay with easy access to the medical center -
- Rachael (10/5): Amazing - Process to check in was fast and easy! Ben was amazing and so helpful.
- Shannon (8/5): Bonvoy line is good choice. - Love the Bonvoy by Marriott, second one in week and a half. Fairfield had a more comfortable bed, than residence inn, which was to hard.
- Thomas (8/5): Very good - It was quiet and had many restaurants close by.
Staff was helpful and very responsive
Enjoyed the breakfast that was provided It is dog, animal friendly but my sinuses and allergies are not. I was plugged up for the first 4 days.
Fortunately we brought our air purifier with us,
Sorry, but not everyone loves your little critters.
It would be helpful if the facility could provide non animal used rooms.
- David (10/5): - I had to make a last minute reservation to get out of a problem with the room at a nearby hotel. Wow the difference between the two hotels, it was like night and day. The Residence Inn in Gilbert was so much more of a good quality hotel that it saved our Thanksgiving holiday, which we were in town to celerated family.
Thanks again to the top notch staff and Management! Great job!
- Kathleen (8/5): 5 night stay - clean and bed was very comfortable
it was great having transportation to and from airport.
- Jenna (8/5): - There are four things a person looks for in a hotel: clean, good bed, TV, and staff. This hotel is wonderful. Only problem was the TV in my room this stay didn’t work and no one seemed to know how to fix it.
- Derek (8/5): Room maid service - Would have liked more options to clean our room.
- lynnt789 (2/5): Terrible Noise, Rude Management - I’m a Bonvoy member and my last two Marriott stays have been a nightmare. Last night I was put in a room next to a screaming baby and I had gotten in bed. I could have changed rooms but I heard their door close and the screaming stopped so I thought the hotel moved the parent and screaming baby so I didn’t change rooms and went to bed. However I was awaken before 7 am with the screaming baby. I never heard a baby scream like that so I’m thinking it might be a special needs circumstance. I complained to the hotel about my horrible stay when I checked out but they refused to discount my room or give me any points saying I should have moved to a different room. I definitely won’t be back to this hotel and probably will ditch the Marriott brand altogether!
- Laura (10/5): - This was a great place to stay for a nearby wedding. Comfy beds, and Great Shower!
- ALLAN (8/5): - Street noise
- Crystal (8/5): - Stayed here with a girls soccer team playing a weekend tournament. It was a great place for the team to bond when not playing and parents to relax. We loved being able to walk to Jamba, Starbucks, fast food, and a bar/grill for dinner.
- Lynda (10/5): - The the suite was very spacious and clean. We had a blast with our big room. I loved the complimentary body soap; it smelled like fresh flowers.
- Brent (10/5): - Convenient and accessible.
- Mk (10/5): We like to stay here. Close to cancer center restaurants just very nice - Breakfast is always good and plenty of it nothing
- Savannah (1/5): Bad -
- brandi (10/5): - Had the best guest service at this location! We had an issue with our room and bed size and the ladies at the front desk (Savannah and Meagan) took care of it so quickly and with no issue! We will definitely use this location again!!!
- Nancy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (5/5): First impressions are important - Clean. For the first time in 10 years we were turned down for early check in. The front desk had no line and they stated we had to wait. It was 110 degrees and we had grandchildren. Not appreciated
- Camille (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great!
- Mia-Andrea (10/5): - The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area.
- Nanette (9/5): Wonderful stay! - Great!
- Patty (10/5): - Satisfied with staff, breakfast was amazing! Property clean and convenient, close to convenient stores, coffee shops.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Needs upgrade though.
- M7310AQsamn (10/5): rooms are perfect! - Great location, at walking distance for near restaurants, all new build business.
Staff front desk to housekeeping is absolutely on point! 1000% recommend. Thank you to staff Coleen. We will be coming back.
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional -
- 503nicolel (8/5): Large room with kitchenette, great for longer term stay - Construction in the lobby and the app was supposed to let me use my phone as the room key but that was not functioning. The large room with kitchenette and separate bedroom was well laid out. We traveled with our adult daughter who slept on the couch and said it was adequate. The breakfast buffet was very busy so we skipped it and went to the McDonald's across the street. We would definitely stay here again.
- Andres (10/5): - We liked that we could walk to a few close by places. We also enjoyed the heated pool.
- evaready (10/5): Excellent Accommodations - We were there from 3/25/23 - 3/30/23 for Cubs & White Sox Spring Training Games & to see friends. The hotel is very nice. The Common Areas are clean, well lit & comfortable. The room was clean & the beds were good, with a kitchenette. The grocery store was 5 minutes away.
The hot breakfast was unbelievable, many choices, cold & hot, very tasty, which was included. All the employees went out of their way to assist us & make our stay more enjoyable.
We will definitely be returning next year!
- randy (8/5): - Good, noisy w/ construction
- HeatherB7406 (10/5): Great final night stay for Spring break - Great breakfast! Excellent and patient team as we had a user error with our key for the room. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was more impressive than expected. Basketball goal, swimming pool (heated and outdoor), jacuzzi, workout room, laundry, outdoor grill, great lobby area. Would gladly stay here again. We had 2 bedroom suite for 5 of us for night before leaving after spring break.
- Randy (10/5): All good here. - We had a great stay here, super friendly staff and the few small issues that came up were handled immediately. The room was clean and comfy , breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Very much recommend.
- Robert (9/5): Superb - I do not like turkey sausage
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): - Clean, courteous staff, great room, convenient and close to restaurants and freeway.
- Beth (10/5): - Very nice breakfast choices!
- Shawn (10/5): Exceptional -
- CS_Nelson (8/5): Overall good - We stayed here for two nights for my sons tournament. It was (mostly) clean (a little iffy on the shower tiles and a hair in my bed) but otherwise clean. Rooms were very spacious and front desk was super helpful. The bed were very uncomfortable for me (wayyy too soft) but my family was okay. The air vent while running heat blasted directly onto my face and it was not pleasant and dried my mouth and face out. Did not provide a dish sponge but received one at the front desk and also borrowed a blender which was convenient.
Pool looked clean, hot tub did not. Putting area is very small, one hole and basketball was one hoop, but fun things to do as time killers. Breakfast was probably the best quality I’ve had for a chain hotel brand.
Would stay here again but only if we did not get a wheel accessible room and if the beds were not as soft.
- Charles (8/5): - The room and the hotel were clean and tidy but there was burnt popcorn smell in the room. There was also a lack of usb ports in the room. Lighting was good and the location offered multiple walkable dining opportunities
- Roxanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Naomi (8/5): - Staff was friendly and prompt !
- Julie (10/5): - Had to stay for 10 days due to an family member. Accommodations were great and staff was very friendly and helpful.
- Richard (10/5): - A nice home away from home.
- Pennington (8/5): - All Front Personnel were all professional on each shift. Much appreciated.
- Luke (8/5): Very good - Super clean and the suite was homie Sausage was turkey sausage please stop this everyone I know hates this. Please get real pork sausage.
