Guest Reviews
- Edwina (6/5): Great location but take some cleaning wipes. - Location is great and staff are friendly. Parking is also onsite. It needed a good clean. Under a mat on the bench where the kettle was looked like mould. I I gave the room a clean myself. The bed, sheets and bathroom were all spotless though which was why I stayed.
- cara (1/5): Horrendous. Genuinely worst place ive ever stayed. - Genuinely nothing It was dirty, disgusting, filled with cockroaches, fleas, bee buds, ants. The owner denied he was the owner & didn’t take any responsibility for the place. Drug addicts were smoking in their rooms and knocking on my door throughout the day and night.
- Jeffrey (6/5): A budget friendly option with pleasant staff. - The location of this accommodation was great for us as we are able to easily walk from the train station. We appreciated the affordable rate. The shower was good and the room was clean. The staff were polite and respectful. The big downside for us was the very uncomfortable and squeaky bed. The latch on the back of the door was broken and the makeshift repair did not work. The kettle cord did not reach the table, so we had to boil the kettle on the chair. The chrome rubbish bin was incredibly rusty which took away from the appeal of the newly renovated bathroom. The toilet roll holder was attached to the wall upside down so the roll kept falling off. There was no spare roll provided but reception were happy to bring a couple of spare rolls to our room.
- OzzieJules (3/5): A battered old motel, clean with parking, close to Cronulla town centre and beaches. Hence the price - The photo's for this motel are completely fanciful. In family room 103 there is no cooktop, the rooms and doors are battered but kept very clean. Tiles are broken and some have fallen off the wall leaving the glue streaks. The linen was clean and looked recently purchased. The single beds in the family room are very hard but the room does sleep four people. The double in room 103 was comfortable. Carpets were clean and not old. Parking available on site. Very close to Cronulla Beach and shopping precinct. There was a kettle, a toaster, a microwave , tea/coffe, milk, small bar fridge with only a shelf freezer area. You won't want to spend much time in these rooms so hope for sunshine. We had a family room 103. Everything is very old, no updates evident, desperately needs at least a minor makeover. Tiles chipped or fallen off the wall completely, door and frames battered, ensuite clean and reasonable. No cooktop as it advertised on Booking.com and shown in photo's.
- Graeme (8/5): - Good location
- Delise (8/5): Suitable for the purpose - Close to the ANZAC event NA
- McDonald (1/5): Shit filthy - Northing Everything
- NORMA (6/5): Positives: The towels and bedding were a very fresh and clean white and the beds were very comfortable. And the parkin - Close to restaurant that was the purpose of our visit. Outside of property nothing like the advertising photo.
Very untidy and dirty.
The bathroom was particularly
disappointing - the sliding door was really hard to close; the shower made dreadful clanking noises when taps turned on; the taps over sink were hard to turn on and off; no toilet roll holder - the roll sat on the cistern; and holes in the wall tiles where things had been removed.
The sink and fridge area was very old (the fridge outsides were rusted)
No extra pillows or blankets.
- Allison (8/5): Value for Money and good location - I have stayed at this hotel before and always find it good value for money and it is close to central Cronulla N/A
- Wyatt (7/5): - Location, clean and price Out datednot bad
- Hamilton (5/5): - Neighbours were very loud
- Chris (2/5): -
- Norman (6/5): Ok - Good location Room was not so clean
- Linda (9/5): Great! - Everything was as expected, clean and tidy, only stayed one night. Would stay there again without hesitation.
- Nathan (9/5): -
- Christopher (2/5): Stay if you are desperate. - It was convenient for where I needed to be. Cockroaches. Items from previous occupiers which makes me thing about how well it was cleaned.
Stains on sheets.
Hairs on towels.
Tiles falling off walls.
No towel rails.
The toilet seats were flaking they were that well used or old.
Taps leaked. And could be difficult to get the correct temperature
Air con made a clicking noise.
Cracker plaster where it had clearly been badly repaired.
One of the guys needs an attitude readjustment. Let’s just say - customer is clearing always in the wrong.
- Joanne (2/5): Cost did not equate to value. - The location was valuable. The room exhibited mould and air conditioner stuck on hot. Bathroom window forced open without means to close overnight and external lighting non existent creating safety concerns. The allocated had an unpleasant smell akin to unclean carpets and was uncomfortable overnight. No access to wifi as stated.
- Scott (4/5): -
- Lydia (7/5): - Location and price Room and bathroom need to be renovated
- Cathy (7/5): -
- Andrea (5/5): -
- Smith (7/5): -
- Joshua Robbins (7/5): -
- Wayne (1/5): Appalling, would never recommend to anyone. Need to start selling shirts, saying I survived my stay - Closeness to town centre is the only positive Asked when booking when we would be arriving to them be told to come back in 3 hours. Rooms are outdated and not particularly clean. Cold water tap wouldnt even turn in bathroom and broken tiles on floor of shower. Rotten damp timber in bathroom, and what looked like blood on the doors edge. Floor obviously not vacuumed as my husband trod on a piece of wire. Infested with the biggest cocktoahes I've ever seen. Pool was advertised when there wasn't one, and hasn't been for years. We didn't even pull the bedding back just slept on a blanket, we thankfully had in our car.
Shocked that something we booked through booking.com was so disappointing.
- Richards (2/5): -
- Ray (4/5): 3rd grade accommodation at high price. - Location dated, grounds overgrown, untidy , room needed painting. bedside lights didn't work, bathroom light didn't work.
- Maria (4/5): -
- Timothy (8/5): -
- Paul (1/5): Place should be knocked down or completely gutted so they can start again - Location Toilet did not flush, taps leaking and squirting water, toilet seat was yellow and material flaking off, the room smelt and we killed 5-6 cockroaches. Also smoke alarm was about to fall of the roof
- Danielle (3/5): No pool - There was no pool as advertised. Staff state pool not there for months No pool
- Caroline (8/5): -
- Leung (3/5): - Sliding Door to Toilet, completely came off the roller tract, this is critical part of the room and not attended to before issuing out the room.
- Judith (7/5): -
- Charlene (6/5): -
- Matt (4/5): Served its purpose for a last minute stay, close to our venue. - Beds we comfortable, although 'trundle' was just an under bed matress hard to pull out. A/C was great. Google TV. Bathroom was very, very tired. Tiles coming away from walls. Hot water was great, but impossible to balance with cold to make it anything but very hot or cold. Toilet seat peeling layers of plastic off. Kitchenette tiny with limited bench space if you have the kettle and toaster out. Sleeps four but only 3 mugs. Enough plated but no bowls. Both a challenge for a family of four.
- Trevor (2/5): - Building is old NRMA 3 and a half stars I'd give it 2 stars No tv coakcroaches everywhere tapes hard to turn on i showers .bed terrible to sleep on shower constantly dripping room smelt off mould
- Lynn (1/5): -
- Jordan (8/5): Simple check in/out no fuss for single night stay. - Location easy to find and very close to the venue I travelled to attend.
The basic facilities I needed, all worked well/no issues.
Staff communicated clearly and made check in/staff hassle free for me. N/A
- Shannon (1/5): Awful - Probably location is the only good thing and the cleaning were friendly Got there at 3:30pm and room wasn’t ready. Waited for it to be cleaned. Then as soon as we dropped our bag the staff had to come and tell us we’d been given wrong room and our actual room would be one hour. We were told we could wait in the wrong room until new room was ready. 10 mins later we were told we had to move asap! So we waited out front of the new room while it was being cleaned. The staff were moving quickly which was nice. But then the room we had was pretty bad. Ants, cockroaches in the room and on cooking utensils and a spider on the bed. The room had a bath which has a sign saying don’t use. Then a shower that couldn’t get the temp right. Only one pillow per person and it had no stuffing. Had to ask staff for a new pillow. I’d like to say you get what you pay for but it was still 390 for two nights which isn’t exactly cheap
- Joanne (3/5): Great location but needs renovation if I was staying longer I would have demanded my money back and gone elsewhere. - Very convenient to the beach, shops & restaurants. We arrived around 4pm and our room wasn’t ready.
The reception staff seemed disorganized.
When the room was ready there were no towels and I had to find a cleaner to get some.
The room (and the motel) are very old and in need of renovation.
The fridge is rusted, the shower leaks all over the floor, all the taps drip constantly, the toilet runs constantly unless you fiddle with the buttons, the shower taps were on so tight we had a great amount of difficulty turning them on, the power points are broken.
It is situated on a main road and there is not enough parking spots in the complex for the number of rooms.
There is no information book with restaurants, local sights or information on the rooms just a tiny slip of paper with the wifi code.
- Sue (5/5): Thoroughly disappointed for the price - The air con worked so that was a comfort and the location was good Uncomfortable bed, carpet was dirty, rubbish under the bed (looking for shoes).
The bathroom sink kept blocking had to wait for it to empty. Fridge was broken inside, no freezer and broken door shelves. Ants on the bench tops when we returned from town. No washer or hand towels, shower was passable but not as clean as it might have been. The whole room was grubby, light switches and common surfaces mostly dirty hands. The foyer into the room was all stained possibly water leakage. Very disappointed for what they charged us it certainly wasn’t what we paid for which is unfortunate as we will be going to Cronulla regularly to visit our daughter.
- anthony (5/5): -
- Stephen (6/5): A convenient and functional room that was clean and comfortable only needing some insect control . - It is a basic but clean room. Obviously the housekeeping staff are conscientious and good at what they do. Beds made well, bathroom clean as was the rest of the room. Reception was functional. Couldn't turn the air conditioning off except to turn off at the power point. NB the air conditioning was very good but it got too cold. Ants infested the area where the kettle is located and swarmed over any spilled milk (a miniscule amount) and any biscuit crumbs {very little) in that area. A cockroach in the bathroom.
- Friedmann (4/5): - Location Bathroom fridge
Sehr dreckig. Falsche Bilder bei Booking com drin. Viel zu teuer für dieses Zimmer.Wir waren sehr enttäuscht.
- Rachael (8/5): -

- Janet (7/5): -

- LUIS EDUARDO (7/5): -
- Audrey (8/5): Comfortable bed - Location Limited maintenance of site.
- Greg (8/5): We were very impressed in the renovation of the room! - Bathroom door broken! Difficulty in closing!
No lock on window!
Pillows very soft, probably need more!
- Robyn (5/5): -
- Christine (1/5): Don’t stay here - Room crowded
Poor lighting
No natural light with privacy
- Rota (4/5): Check reviews and know your priorities before booking - Location was good: close to railway station, beach and busy mall. Also, it was one of the cheapest options in Sydney at the time of booking. There were no smells in the room and the beds were clean and comfy. We loved early check in and staff was accommodating for our needs. Room decor was miserable, carpet very stained and there were small ants running around the table. Bathroom door didn’t close properly and walls were not very soundproof.
- Daniel (4/5): -
- Sean (4/5): -
- Bruna (3/5): It was okay for one night. - I liked the bed and the shower The room was is serious disrepair. air coditioner remote didn't work, toilet flush was broken, tea/coffey accessories were minimal, shortage of powerpoints.
