• Bang (10/5): - 위치가 무척 맘에 들었어요. 아침에 일어나서 오동도를 보며 바라다본 일출이 정말 예쁘더라구요. 가까운 거리에 해상케이블카를 탈 수 있는 곳과 오동도가 있어서 산책하면서 여수를 즐길 수 있었어요. 조식도 깔끔하게 나오고 룸도 깨끗하고 편하게 2박 3일 머물다 왔어요.

• Guangyi (6/5): It is ok but not value for money… even though it is paid by company. - Nice views Second time staying there but the staff always do not seem too familiar with the payment/invoicing process. The rooms do not have iron, unusual for a business hotel. I needed my clothes laundered for business meeting, it was not collected and no reason was given. I had to call and ask to find out that the laundry service was out that day.

• Jongwha (9/5): - 룸 상태는 깔끔했습니다. 아무래도 제가 기억하기론 호텔 객실 등의 내부 인테리어가 건축 이후로 변동사항이 없는데, 연식이란게 있다보니까 조금 올드한 느낌이 있습니다. 스위트룸 침대 자체는 편안하고 좋았으나, 추가로 지급되는 침구등은 조금 얇아 허리가 불편하신 분들은 주의가 필요합니다. 위치는 여수 바다 관광지등(포차 등)과 조금 떨어져 있습니다 도보로 10분이면 끝자락에 도착하는 것 같긴 한데, 중심쪽으로 들어가려면 도보 20분정도는 생각하셔야 합니다. 그래도 조금 떨어져 있는 위치 덕에 관광지로 인한 소음 등은 전혀 없습니다. 주차장도 넓고 편합니다.

• Kate (6/5): Staff were lovely but the hotel itself was quite dated. - Breakfast was lovely and the concierge and staff were helpful whenever we asked for something or recommendations. This was the best part of the hotel - the people. It’s tired and needs a refresher. Our friends booked exactly the same room as us and they had a lovely room with corner view and balcony. Whilst the staff attempted to accommodate us after we questioned the vastly different rooms, our final room wasn’t as nice as our friends. There were stains on the carpet and chairs, damaged walls in the room - just an overall tired looking hotel (other than the main breakfast & reception area).

• EUN YOUNG (10/5): 소노캄 여수 여행 - 엄마와 둘이 한 여행. 15시 체크인인데 12시 이후 방배정하였고 체크인전 짐도 보관해주었어요. 객실깨끗하고 직원도 친절하고 석식 조식 모두 맛있고 신선했어요. 다음날 11시 체크아웃이후에도 짐보관 가능해서 체크아웃후 17시까지 짐보관후 여수여행 다녔어요. 시설도 조용하고 오동도가 바라다보이는 오션뷰 15층 객실훌륭했어요

• Soyon (8/5): - 18층 오션뷰 패밀리트윈에서 1박했어요~ 퀸, 싱글 베드 하나씩 있는 침실과 거실이 있는 구조에 샤워부스와 욕조있는 방이었어요~ 전반적으로 깨끗하고 침구류도 청결하고 편했어요~ 오동도가 보이는 뷰도 훌륭했고 직원분들도 친절했어요. 사우나, 스카이라운지 바, 조식뷔페도 이용했는데 좋았어요. 근데 밤새 건물에서 나는 ‘우웅’소리에 자다가 많이 깼어요ㅠ 바람이 많이 불어서 그런건지… 밖에 정박한 뱃소리인지… 공조기 소리인가해서 밤에 히터도 끄고 있었는데 꺼도 그 소리가 계속 나더라구요ㅠ 그 소음만 아니었음 매우만족했을거 같아요;;;

• MYOUNG WOO (8/5): 너무 좋았는데 방이 추웠어요~ - 방3개잡았고 가족여행다녀왔습니다~ 뷰도 너무좋고 깔끔하니 좋았는데 바다쪽 방은 춥습니다. 공기따뜻하게 해주는 벽걸이형 온풍기가 있는데 트는동안은 따뜻했는데 소리가 커서 켜고 잘수가없어서 끄고잤더니 추워서 몇번깼습니다. 동생네도 바다쪽 이라 그랬다고 하더라구요 다행히 부모님은 맞은편 방이었는데 따뜻하게 잘 주무셨다고 해요~ 방키열고 이것저것 짐넣어드리느라 들어갔을때에도 따뜻하다~느꼈는데 저희방 들어가니 좀 추워서 우리방은 더 길어서 추운가?했는데 동생네도 추웠다고하는걸로보니 바다쪽이 춥구나 했습니다~ 워낙 추운날이기도 했구요~ 그리고 조식~너무 좋았습니다~ 맛있었어요~커피도 맛있고~부모님도 잘드시더라구요~ 다음번 여수여행에도 들르겠습니다~

• HELEN (6/5): - The check in is strictly allowed after 3pm. The hotel room maintenance seems to be poor at least in my room. Moldy bathtub, cracked entrance tile floor. The AC/heating unit made some strange noise which made me wake up couple of times at night.
• aeduck (8/5): - The good bad and ugly. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Yeosu Sono Calm hotel. We got upgraded to a large ocean view room. This was a pleasant surprise after staying at smaller rooms in Seoul. The sauna and breakfast buffet were also 5 stars! Now for the bad. The rooms are a bit dated from the Expo days. Bring extra plugs to charge your USB devices. The plumbing in the bathroom is also odd. You'll have to see for yourself. In summary Sono Calm is worth a visit with a few quirks. Enjoy!
