- ALISON (8/5): I used to holiday in nearby Corlette as a kid, so it was great to visit Nelson Bay again. - The room was clean, cosy and comfortable. The pub had a really nice vibe and outlook down to the marina. The food was good and the service friendly and helpful. The location is great, we had a lovely walk around the marina and wandered the shops. Not a big deal, but there was no-one at reception when we arrived and we had to go down to the pub to check in. That was easy and the young guy who checked us in was amazing. We then had to climb 2 flights of stairs to get to our room. There weren't a lot of vegetarian options on the pub menu.

There was no telephone in the room and no one in Reception during the night. Would not stay here again.

This is not true, the staff did not even know what I'm talking about. This was one of the main reasons we booked this accommodation at $230 for the night! We arrived at around 5pm in the Fridayand asked if we can order food, the staff member was aloof and not friendly at all, incurring is that the kitchen is closed. You would think for a Tourist hotspot did well be available throughout the day. We ended up eating dinner and breakfast at other establishments that offered this service. Extremely disappointed and will not stay here again. Food was disappointing and your restaurant's customer service was even more disappointing. On a Saturday night, at 8:50pm when we went down to have dinner, we were told the kitchen had closed. Had the gentleman left it at that, it would have been acceptable, but he took a dig at us. He said - "What kitchen stays open at 9?". We went from Sydney, and on a Saturday night, all kitchens stay open at 9pm. My point is, we should have been advised at check-in that the kitchen closes at 9pm, especially when he told us that we could get a 10% discount as a guest staying in the hotel.

- Ben (6/5): Lovely staff and value for money - Comfortable rooms and great staff when booking the room however was a problem with my booking and was charged double - still awaiting this to be remedied
- Troy (10/5): Cozy, great location, 10/10 - Our original room had aircon that wasn’t working We told front desk and they upgraded us to a new room for free! which was far bigger with a huge bed and great bathroom It really felt like a vip room Thank you so much for your great service Will definitely be coming back Nothing; everything was great

- Danielle (9/5): We had a wonderful stay, exactly what we expected plus impressed with the location once there - Newly renovated, lovely aesthetic, perfect proximity to where we needed to be. Lovely staff. Free parking since you need to pay parking locally. Nothing!
- Tracy (6/5): - Clean, lovely room, good location, nice view, friendly staff. Music from the pub went until midnight and was loud. Need to bring earplugs to sleep.
