- ana (9/5): Siamo stati davvero benissimo.
- Frederick (8/5): First time ive stayed in Glastonbury nice setting and the Manager was very helpfull and friendly . - Very conveinant to the town center, short pleasant walk to town, very quite settting and staff very friendly and very helpful exactly what I wanted. Door latches in rooms made a bit of noise with people going to the loo
- Dianna (9/5): Comfortable room with a lovely view. - The room I stayed in was very comfortable and had a view of the Tor, which was very nice. There were several women staying in the house and it was a comfortable relatively communal atmosphere. Bathrooms were shared and kept clean. Breakfast was not gluten-free friendly, but there were several self-serve options. The location was close, but a little away from the bustle of town. Some gluten-free options at breakfast would have been lovely. Everything else was just fine.

Sage einfach Danke!!!
- Jessica (10/5): Will definitely return again! - Friendly, great host! Excellent location. Nothing!
- Nomusa (10/5): Quiet and peaceful. - Quiet and peaceful. N/A
- Anthony (8/5): - I realised when I arrived I had stayed here before and my experience of staying here this time was like the last time, peaceful, comfortable and restful. The self-service breakfast was appreciated. A home having a dedicated meditation room definitely contributes to the sense of a soothing atmosphere. The view of the Tor from my window was a plus. Andrea was welcoming and helpful
- neus (10/5): - El tracte , ubicació i ambient del lloc. Situat en una zona molt tranquil·la.
- pernille (6/5): Meget sød betjening - i lydt hus.
- Andrea (10/5): Conexión - Todo Me costó encontrarlo.
- Christopher (10/5): Brilliant - Everything No complaints

Beautifull rooms, good breakfast, good service and so helpfull.
I loved every moment and couldn’t have stayed at a netter place.
I Will be back 🙏🏻
- Diana (10/5): Great host, beautiful, clean, quiet and within walking distance from town centre. - Great location, quiet and very clean. Beautiful space and great host. Great night's sleep due to very comfortable bed. My second visit now. Thank you. Looking forward to next time.
- Katy (10/5): A Soul-Nourishing Stay with a View of Glastonbury Tor. - I arrived at Camelot Retreat with no expectations and ended up having the most amazing two nights. From the moment I arrived, Andreea made me feel so welcome, she is the perfect host for such a beautiful, divine space.
The treatment she gave me was honestly the best I’ve ever experienced. I’m still feeling the love and energy throughout my whole body. It was deeply relaxing and incredibly special.
My room was lovely, with a beautiful view of the Tor, and the bed was so comfortable. It truly felt like a home from home.
The whole experience was peaceful, nurturing and uplifting. I enjoyed it so much that I’ve already booked to come back again in a few weeks!
✨💖✨ The only thing I didn’t like was having to leave!
💖🙏🥰🧘♀️💖
- Jackson (8/5): Lovely - Proximity to the Tor and town Nothing
- Mark (7/5): View of Tor was great. We landed in just the right spot for the purpose of this stay. - Breakfast was adequate as I’m not a big breakfast eater. Crystals and spiritual elements all around. Friendliness and energy of Andrea. Location is good as I don’t mind the walk. Snacks were not plentiful. Instant coffee is really bad. Good brewed coffee makes any stay better. Lighting in room was poor. Ability to sit outside of room not comfortable. The house was often cold but that seemed to change over our stay. Overall, decor needs some updates.

- Simon (10/5): Aligned - Relaxing clean and comfortable with a spiritual energy Nothing
- Stella (9/5): lovely stay, we were very happy. would recommend - nice, quiet, clean the bed was smaller than expected
- Vinnie (8/5): Great base to explore Glastonbury - Beautiful meditation room and view of the Tor from my room!

- Anne (9/5): - Cathy is a lovely host
- Samanths (10/5): A charming palace with everything you could need to have a wonderful stay! - I love the themed roomed. It was such a charming space. And the meditation room was incredibly special! There was nothing! Everything was really wonderful

- Shay (8/5): I arrived.late after a lot of driving David was very pleasant - Convenient An en-suite. Would have been nice
- Kelly (10/5): BEAUTIFUL RETREAT - This was a beautiful sacred space. It was cosy with incredible views of the Tor from the bedroom window and from the dining room. All of my favourite locations were all in walking distance - The Tor, white springs & chalice well gardens. Town centre was close enough to walk too. The host was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, and the meditation room a real highlight. This home felt so sacred and the energy there was so powerful. Absolutely Magical
- Lisa (9/5): Homely atmosphere - Warm inviting property
Homely, really does become your hone for the duration of your stay
Current host is excellent. Bed was a tad to soft for my liking, but did not adversely affect my stay .... more of a personal perferance than a criticism

- Sophie (10/5): Wonderful location and local expertise to the get the best from Glastonbury - I loved the location the most as I could walk to the Somerset Countryside Museum for coffee and breakfast. The house manager David was wonderful and he suggested excellent attractions, all of which I visited and hadn't heard of before, which I really enjoyed. The house was easy to find and I could walk to the top of bottom of Glastonbury High Street and Chalice Well and White Springs (Luckily I was there on a Tuesday when they were open) and the bottom of the walk to the Tor, which I could see from bedroom window and breakfast table. There was a lovely spiritual vibe. I am very happy Booking have moved this question to after What did I like. There was nothing except possible receiving pictures of where to find the key safe and where to put keys at checkout.
- RAVINDER (8/5): - A wonderful place. My trip was spontaneous and I found this little gem last minute. I really enjoyed my stay at Camelot and met some lovely people. Perfect location!!
- Christopher (10/5): -
- Tracey (7/5): -
- Joanna (8/5): Wonderful stay! The manager was lovely to talk to, the room was pretty & spacious. Great location! -
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Love it all
- Mark (8/5): -
- Ben (10/5): - Camelot is lovely. A lot of care and attention has gone into it. The room was lovely and nicely decorated, the self serve breakfast was ideal, with water from the white spring too. The crystal room was really great to sit in and the bookcase had a lot of great titles too. Thanks!
- Sami (9/5): - Room was nice and comfortable. I enjoyed the view to the tor. Vibes in this place are super good. I will be staying here later again.
- susanna (9/5): -
- Angela (8/5): - Friendly homely place
- Macarena Larrosa (10/5): -
- Cheryl (8/5): - Good experience at venue
- Candida (9/5): Lovely homely, peaceful, relaxing energy - Host was welcoming and friendly, available, but not intrusive.
Everywhere was very clean, everything was comfortable, bedroom and throughout.
Kitchen had everything needed, breakfast food good, including fresh fruit and white well water lovely, dining area furniture.
Lovely quiet meditation room to sit in
Bedroom comfortable and restful, with lovely views of The Tor.
Bathroom facilities v good, walk in shower was very good on ground level, also toiletries available to use.
Pleasant, peaceful and homely place to stay. Choice of milk was poor (semi skimmed and skimmed not available).
The choice of bread was only brown (no white or gluten-free available).
Providing a selection of pastries would have been a nice option.
Tea - there was no option of decaffeinated.
- Yuko (10/5): -
- Sonja (8/5): - Welcoming heart open atmosphere so we really enjoyed our stay with the view of the Tor and the magic energy. The rooms a a bit old and a renovation would be nice
- silvia (10/5): - Quiet and clean
- Agnieszka (10/5): Excellent - David, it's really kind.
The place was perfect, and a girl travelling alone, i felt very safe and welcomed.
- Taliah Rodica (9/5): - Lovely house, I appreciated the Tor view from my room, the breakfast and the meditation room. The rooms are very close to each other, and my neighbours woke me up several times during the night time. But it couldn't be helped..all in all it was a lovely stay.
- Qin (8/5): -
- Saskia (8/5): Fijn - Schoon, keuken om zelf in te koken, voldoende wc’s, fijne douches. Nvt
- Alejandra (8/5): The best - If night falls, there's a very dark section of the trail. Avalon is very quiet, but I was alone. Otherwise, David, the manager, is really kind and walked me down the path to Thor's Tower. I recommend it. The dark but is my experience
- Richard (8/5): Overall a pleasant memory and peaceful experience - General ambience and meeting other guests Would have appreciated a desk and chair in my room - it was a little cramped
- Vasiliky (9/5): Cosy stay in Camelot - Camelot retreat is an absolutely beautiful lil get away with beautiful energy. It has a gorgeous meditation area, breakfast included, the bed was comfy and David is a wonderful and helpful human. I love that they have White spring water that you can drink during the duration of your stay and it's a short walk to the Tor and springs and not too far into town either. I loved that I could see the Tor from my bedroom and that it was quiet and peaceful 💗 🕊️ The only thing I can really say is the shower didn't stay hot each time I used it. It varied in temperature
- Eva Maria (8/5): Amazing peaceful quiet place, very kind and helpful host ! - Peaceful It’s not very sound prof
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Su (4/5): It didn’t feel homely, you felt as if you were walking on eggshells and had to whisper. - Meditation room was nice The rooms need updating and decorating. The bed linen was creased and faded. We were aware of the quiet times, however we didn’t realise we had to be silent. Rooms are close together with no soundproofing so you can hear next doors convo. Doors need a slow shut on them as they bang closed. Although close together amenities, it was in a housing estate. Bread was out of date. Tiny mirrors everywhere apart from over the bath. Free toiletries consisted of left over soap and toothpaste and an empty bottle of something foreign. Towels were old and faded. No tv in rooms.
- Beth (9/5): Peaceful yet conveniently located accommodation with friendly hosts. - I had a wonderful stay at the Camelot Retreat. It's situated in a peaceful residential area that's quiet and comfortable, yet within easy walking distance to the town center or the Tor and Chalice Well. Also, it is very close to the Somerset Rural Life Museum. The hosts and the other guests were lovely! I would love to come back one day.
- Paul (8/5): Good stay with excellent host - Was a great little stay, host was very good and informative. The accommodation was very good and tranquil.
- Rosencrucifix (8/5): Convenient, lovely guest house in a quiet residential area of Glastonbury - I soon realized I was at a guest house where I could make my own breakfast (all essentials provided) and even cook dinner if I wanted to - which was well worth it because in G. all pubs close early. The view of the Tor is through the dining room window (and one bedroom), the garden is small but a welcome place to breathe and feel the grass under your feet. I was lucky to have the most delightful host welcome me during her summer job. The 20min walking distance from the center of town felt tiresome on a hot day. I was glad I had booked the Master Bedroom in this former family home, otherwise the space would have felt even tighter than it already was. It was a bit tricky to navigate creaking floorboards and people's sounds due to phone calls or snoring beyond the walls. Most guests were very considerate. Other than that, the four bedrooms have names referring to spiritual paths, the living room was an exhibit of the owner's formative gurus, the sofa cushions worn and the crystals in dear need of cleansing. I couldn't feel the energy. What a pity.
- Christine (9/5): Superb - Clean, comfortable, peaceful. Host Cathy was very friendly and helpful. Vegan/ vegetarian breakfast was conveniently self-serve. Good value.
- Enxhi (9/5): Superb -
- Lynda (9/5): Superb -
- Kenneth (6/5): Pleasant - Cathy who was acting on behalf of the owner who was in hospital as we understand it, was excellent and really had a good approach to the guest. Very relaxed. There is a room to relax in or read. The garden is pleasant also The bedrooms are on the first floor are close together and the door mechanism make too much noise as guests open and close doors to go to the bathroom or arrive or leave their rooms. It's a constant noise at certain times of the day or night. Quieter closures would solve the problem.
- John (8/5): Relaxing stay - It’s location meant that to walk into Glastonbury or up to the Tor it was easy. The room was comfortable and everything was clean. The staff were helpful and there was a garden to sit in and hang clothes for drying.
- Peacock (10/5): Excellent stay - Outstanding everything, vegan friendly, spiritual, loved the meditation room. LoveIy place. Clean. Hostess warm and welcoming. Nice folk visiting and some repeats. Comfortable and safe. I slept well. Loved the kitchen. Need to stay longer...
- Cathryn (9/5): Superb - Peaceful, calm, homely, thought-provoking, comfortable. A bit outside the town, so easy to walk into town but away from traffic. We slept really well here. Loved being so near The Tor. Loved the selection of books you could use if you wanted to during your stay.
- Ross (10/5): Great place. Lovely people. Very convenient - Very accomodating and friendly host and enjoyable discussions over breakfast. Very convenient for visiting the Tor. Very reommended if you want to know more about the spiritual side of Glastonbury and find like minded travellers.
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - This house is a special place, a peaceful and beautiful sanctuary! I had a wonderful stay- the host was very kind, the breakfast was nourishing, and overall it was a very positive experience.
- Angela (5/5): Passable -
- Andy (8/5): Very good - great location good food for breakfast, and great parking
- Anna (10/5): Magical, spiritual, into heart 💚 - The energy of that place is one of the kind! Spiritual purpose here is felt from the entrance. Peace - like in heart, helps to incorporate codes coming from the rooms and Tor. Intentions anchored in every Cristal, picture, photo support the inner journey 💚💫🪬
- Susan (8/5): Very good -
- Sally (10/5): Happy place - Friendly and a home from home. Will be back to stay here again. Maybe larger towels but nothing else.
- Gonzalo (6/5): - Short stay to truly share much,
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly homely atmosphere.
Relaxed environment.
Stayed before and will be returning again.
Use of the whole house, access to kitchen to prep, store and cook own meals is a wonderful bonus No
- Bentley (2/5): Disappointing experience. - Nothing. The walls are paper thin and any sound was loud. The house needs freshening up and maintenance work needed. The 4 minute walk they advertise to the Tor is at least 40 mins. Not happy.
- Claire (10/5): - A lovely room in a very calm and peaceful house. The bed was very comfortable. The host was very welcoming and couldnt do enough to help, including finding me a fan at 9pm because i was too hot. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of going to Glastonbury
- Zuzana (10/5): Exceptional - It's in a great location, super close to the Tor, Chalice well is nearby too. Good stay for travelers with no car.
My room had a view of the Tor. I was happy with everything
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ck (10/5): Great host and peaceful stay - We had a lovely stay at the Camelot Retreat – Egyptian Room with a unique touch. Izzie was a warm host, always happy to help with a smile. She kindly accommodated our early check-in and late checkout, and even held our luggage so we could explore the town stress-free. There was a good breakfast spread, with multiple plant-based options to choose from.
The dining area was a lovely space to connect with other guests, and there was a beautiful and peaceful crystal room and a handy little library. Izzie was a total superhost, offering local maps, curated suggestions for attractions, coffee spots, dining, and even cab contacts, which came handy. .
We’d absolutely stay again when we return to the enchanting town of fairy and Avalon! It would have been nice to have a separate ensuite bathroom, but we only had to share it with another guest, and it was clean and well kept. There was a slight problem with the hot water flow consistency, but it was fine the next day, and there were clear instructions on operating. Well thought through.
- Chloe (10/5): - If you like crystals and Glastonbury, you’ll love it here. Great vibes and views of the Tor.
If you don’t, you won’t and could probably find something more suitable out to Wells or Cheddar or adjacent.
- Paul (8/5): - Good to be in such a peaceful place, close to Chalice Well and still only ten minutes from Glastonbury town centre.
- Roger (10/5): - very good
- Magda (10/5): Exceptional - The fridge is full and you prepare the breakfast yourself by your own preference - love the concept. It feels like being home.
- Fedor (8/5): excellent stay - very quiet area, great for good night sleep, friendly host.
