• Ilia (1/5): Terrible hotel. Don't book for the spa! - Terrible hotel. We had a one-night booking for our anniversary. We chose this hotel because of the spa, parking, and location in Trenčín. When booking, it was stated that each adult gets 1 hour of spa access for free. We also contacted the hotel in advance about parking and were assured that everything would be fine. The problems started immediately. The hotel parking was blocked because there were no spaces left. Yes, the hotel offered us a discount for a public parking lot about 5 minutes away on foot, but it still cost €12 per day. At check-in, the receptionist was examining our residence permits and then made a curious comment, basically questioning whether Slovakia really needs foreign specialists from other countries when there are already enough local people. In my opinion, that was either ignorant, rude, or both. We were also refused access to the spa because everything was fully booked and there were no available slots. Just a reminder: we were staying only for one night, and according to the hotel rules, check-out was at 10:30 the next morning. After a long discussion, the hotel “kindly” agreed to give us spa access the next day at 10:00. When we asked how we were supposed to check out, they said they would “wait for us” until 11:00. In the end, we decided not to use the spa at all. It is not exactly enjoyable to go to the pool and sauna right after breakfast in the morning, and then rush like crazy just to make sure we do not stay past 11:00. The furniture in the room was awful. Exactly as other people mention in their reviews: worn-out dressers and tables from the 90s. The dresser even had fake drawers that did not open. The room smelled like a sweaty man or wet rags, possibly because of the old carpet. The pillows and mattress felt like something from the cheapest possible apartment rental. The only positive thing is the location. The hotel exits directly onto the main street of the city, where everything is happening.

• Andreas (6/5): naja - ein grandhotel mit geschichte, perfekte lage, sehr gutes essen und frühstücksbuffet unsere doppelzimmer hatten das "fenster" zur lobby, also gab es keine möglichkeit, frische luft hereinzulassen, alles, was in der lobby passiert, selbst wenn nur gesprochen oder ein stuhl verrückt wird, überträgt sich aufgrund der akkustik unglaublich stark in die zimmer (beim versuch, zumindest ein bisschen luft ins zimmer zu bekommen): bei geschlossenen fenstern also zum ersticken, bei geöffneten extrem laut! und: der spa-bereich ist schon mit 15 gästen "überfüllt", wir wurden nicht mehr eingelassen ...

• Elisabeth (9/5): Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Wir würden es wieder buchen. - Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und vielseitig. Das Hotel ist sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, sauber und sehr nett eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer war mit einem Fenster in Richtung Fußgängerzone. Was grundsätzlich kein Problem ist. Nur gibt es scheinbar von Freitag auf Samstag/Sonntag in der Nähe einen Club der weit über Mitternacht Musik spielt. Das ist für Menschen mit Einschlafproblemen nicht sehr angenehm.

Sehr komfortable, absolut saubere Zimmer, schönes Restaurant, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Die Lage ist herrlich. Die Mitarbeiter*innen haben eher gestresst und etwas demotiviert gewirkt. Dusche in der Badewanne ist etwas unbequem.

• JURAJ1968 (7/5): Krásny hotel v centre mesta, ktorý však má čo zlepšovať. - Hotel Elizabeth je na výbornom mieste v centre Trenčína, veľmi blízko hradu aj centra mesta. Z hotela je možné vidieť slávny latinský nápis na hradnom brale. Raňajky boli výborné, s dostatkom ovocia a zeleniny. Recepčná bola veľmi milá a ochotná. Veľmi nemilo nás prekvapilo, že nás na izbe nečakala minerálka, ako to je obvyklé. Rovnako sme sa doteraz nestretli s obmedzeným wellness len na hodinu a nutnosťou rezervácie vopred. Pre 4* hotel by malo byť samozrejmosťou neobmedzené wellness, ale to by tam nesmeli mať vstup aj tí, ktorí tam nie sú ubytovaní.

Vše bylo velmi příjemné a čisté, skvělé prostředí. Chyběly pantofle a konvice na pokoji. V takovém typu ubytování už to vnímám jako standard.

Personal na recepcii, v restauracii a aj vo wellness bol prijemny a ustretovy. V urcitom case, ked bola wellness kapacita naplnena si nebolo mozne niekam zlozit osusky alebo zupan, ale po istej chvily sa miesta uvolnili. Ocenili by sme keby boli vankuse na izbach kvalitnejsie (radsej mensie a ergonomicke), kazilo to kvalitu spanku.

Parkplatz war etwas problematisch, da nicht ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten gegeben hat und wir in der Stadt, parken mussten. Die Parkplätze sind in Trencin kostenpflichtig bis nachts 12.00 Uhr !! Vor dem Haus zum ausladen durfte man auch nicht parken.

• eric (8/5): - Location Massages were very good and reasonable Beds were vere comfy Staff were very helpful We were given a interconnecting room and the noise was very loud from room next door late into the night. Staff in fairness did give another room the following day. Children being allowed into the spa and wellness area and using the jaccuzzi as a swimming. Couldnt relax
