Breakfast was better than I expected, considering the price of the stay. We were in a garden room near the back. The only thing was the aeroplane noise - if you're a light sleeper, this might be an issue.

Sound definitely carries from the hallway and nearby rooms though. There were a lot of options for breakfast and the room had everything I needed for a simple stay!

• mark (10/5): Another fantastic stay - Our second stay at this B&B.. just on the outskirts of London and close to Heathrow And Twickenham nearby.. Check in was with a lovely lady.. allocated a lovely garden room double bed and a single for our son.. contained everything we needed for a comfortable one night stay..may i add all very clean and well kept Conservatory/kitchen open for access to tea and coffee machine so no need for them in the room.. Breakfast was included in the price and a great selection of continental and cooked food along with tea coffee and juice available from 7am... Free parking to the front of the hotel and easy access from the road.. Felt safe leaving the car in the car park overnight.. There are shops and a KFC along with other facilities nearby..

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good and affordable - It is very close to LHR. Given the proximity to one of the world biggest and busiest airports, this hotel offers a good enough room and service. Front desk staff is very friendly and welcome you upon arrival. There is a very good Indian restaurant nearby within a walking distance. Unlike multiple star hotels, this one may not be fancy. But still essentially nice and affordable.
• Dana (8/5): - Great spot to stay overnight prior to catching out of Heathrow. Easy tube ride. The room was small but worked fine for three of us. We really enjoyed the outdoor area in the evening and again during breakfast. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Poor sleep ! - I had stayed at this Hotel before in a room at the back of the Hotel. It was great ! But this time I was placed at the front of the building near the main road. I heard a rumble from the traffic on the busy Bath Road most of the night ! I lost sleep ! The room also had no air-con just a fan. The comfort was reduced as a result ! Great bed though!

Room basic but comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Staff very kindly allowed me to sit out in the lovely garden after check out, while I sorted a few bits on my laptop. Free parking is great and saves some money (most hotels in the area seem to charge for parking). Would stay again, thanks for a lovely stay.

The room was comfortable and clean and the garden was a great place to relax and chat to other guests. Breakfast was included and the staff were very helpful with my dietary requirements.

• Amanda (10/5): - This was the sweetest property with a beautiful patio area. They were very welcoming and we loved the little extras throughout. It is very convenient to the underground and has a nice hot breakfast in the morning and a fridge available for guests to use. We will definitely use Skylark for any future London stays.

• Thomas (10/5): Skylark Stay - The skylark has been an amazing place to stay! Staff is so friendly and helpful. It is an excellent value for the money. We have truly enjoyed our stay and will be returning soon! The breakfast is delicious! Plenty of food and lots of variety. Also have to mention that it is in a great location! Just a 3 minute walk to the underground and bus station. We have loved it here!

• Vicky (10/5): Absolutely Fantastic! - We couldn’t fault our stay at the beautiful Skylark Hotel. The room and service was fantastic! On arrival, there was limited parking, but the lady was swift at sorting that out for us despite running around for everyone else too. We were shown our room within minutes and shown around the complex in a very friendly and professional manor. The lady ensured every need was met, even down to having nice serviettes for eating with and asking if I wanted a hairdryer in the room! Nothing was any trouble for her, she was lovely! Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, again, having everything we needed in it, and the breakfast lounge matched. The staff were very helpful during breakfast, friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious with a variety to pick from and everything was spotlessly clean. On our departure, we were greeted with the most down to earth staff member! He was happy to have a chat about our day ahead, compliment us on our kids and was just generally a very friendly, pleasant gentlemen who was very easy to get along with and speak to. He welcomed us back any time and saw us out the door with a very friendly spirit, he was also so very lovely! Highly recommend this hotel, for the room, the staff, and everything in it! Thank you! • Esther-Marie (10/5): - I was very pleasantly surprised with this property. The room was small, but very clean. The double bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows provided. The bathroom was equally small and clean, and both the hot water and shower pressure were excellent. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. I chose to sleep longer, rather than get up for breakfast (jet lag can be a killer!), but I'm given to understand I missed a good one! Parking is on the hotel forecourt: there isn't much of it, but it was perfect for my needs. The local underground station - Hounslow West - is a 5-minute walk away. I felt very safe walking in the area, but was disappointed at how trashy/dirty the area was around the underground station. Overall, though, this was a great stay and I would definitely both choose to stay here again, and recommend it for other travelers!

• mark (10/5): Fantastic value and loved our stay - Had a very friendly check in... lovely lady. Explained everything and showed us around Our room although basic Ideal for us.. Double bed.. TV.. desk and chair.. Plenty of sockets for charging and using your mobile devices.. Full length mirror which the wife was very happy with.. Good size bathroom ensuite.. great hot shower which is something i do like for me personally... Although near a main road and under the flight path for Heathrow..we never experienced any noise and had a very comfortable night sleep.. There is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room but freely available to make in the adjacent kitchen/ Dining room which over looks a beautiful garden.. can do a little plane spotting here also if you want.. Certainly recommend staying here as it's very reasonably priced and in great location if traveling to Twickenham stadium.Heathrow or London as the case for me.. The hotel offers a contintel style breakfast which is more than adequate to set you up for the day.. And along with this beans and scrambled eggs are available.. beans and scrambled egg on toast for me.. Yes wouldn't hesitate in returning in the future... Fyi.. onsite parking available and ample spaces
• DHAN BAHADUR (8/5): - All staffs are very nice, friendly and have excellent customer care.
• Sharon (10/5): Fair - We only stayed one night. We booked two rooms, one family and the other was a family but only one adult int he room, however the bed was a bunk bed with a double on the bottom. My brother is 6ft 3" so it wasn't the most comfortable, but he managed. Our double bed was up against a wall which I don't particularly like.
• Verified traveler (6/5): 2.5-3 stars - fine for a one night short stay - Good but could have been better. Had to ask staff to turn the heating on (in February) and water was cold throughout. rooms were clean but the bedside lamps did not work (just there for decor?) which was annoying as I was suffering with a migraine and wanted the top lights off as they were far too bright. Our room was on the ground floor which was good for access, however, the doors are not soundproof and we could hear if anyone was outside in the hallway/reception area talking. The continental breakfast was standard but they did not offer/accommodate our gluten free request on the grounds that they don’t cater to allergies? This was confusing, as a business I would expect some catering to allergies/intolerances/dietary preferences. Oddly we were also asked to not eat in our rooms if we ordered takeout but to eat it in the breakfast area - which just seemed weird and unnecessary as we were an all adult group. Tea and coffee was not available in the room but from the breakfast area - and this we could take into our room (which confused us even more). Overall it was okay for a one night stay as we were attending an event nearby.

• Toni (8/5): - The staff were very responsive and helpful. The room was spacious enough and the shower was large. It was quiet despite being on a fairly main road area. Grocery store and take away food places within 5 minutes walk. The breakfast and dining area was lovely and you can access this area at all times to make a tea or coffee (as there are no facilities for this in the room. A lovely breakfast of cereals, juices, toast, pastries, ham, cheese and cooked foods was included in the price. OEasy parking if you have a rental car and clise proximity to the airport. Good for our one night stop over.
• Jason (8/5): - The beds and room were good. More hooks on doors for jackets or towels would be greatly appreciated! The breakfast was just ok; more and better choices are needed. Saw a mouse in our room once, but just the once. Staff askes if we left our window open, but our window looked into an interior kitchen area... Overall great staff and a nice stay, but just a few minor improvements and details would take this location to the next level.
• Lucas (8/5): - When wanting a place just a few minutes from the airport certain compromises need to be embraced: The staff were friendly and helpful, the place was clean, and the breakfast was comprehensive and well-presented. However, being only a few minutes away from the airport means accepting the noise of aircraft passing low every couple of minutes. On balance price and the romance of the start of a journey means I will stay there again.

• David (10/5): Great overnight stop - Stayed here to be close to Heathrow for an early morning flight (10 minute drive). 4th time staying here. Basic but clean and quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful and unlike the big chains the parking is free. Will undoubtedly be back again.

The room was small for a double , luckily I was on my own. With a partner , it would have been a little cramped. The staff were wonderful - I missed breakfast (my fault) , however I was served a nice hot coffee and a croissant.
