- Breanna (8/5): Very good - The house was amazing to look around and had more history than we expected. The rooms were gorgeous and set up very nice! We did wish we had a comfy chair to sit in but we were not in the room that much anyway. Dining was great! We loved the food and were pleasantly surprised each morning. ‘Butchers cabinet’ was great as well! We were on the third floor which was fine but going up those last set of stairs was a little scary. We also found out that the room we stayed in was ‘most active’ for paranormal activity… we were creeped out but nothing happened during our stay and we were able to rest just fine.
- Denise (10/5): Amazing stay here at Twelve Oaks, highly recommended - Beautiful house inside and out, perfect location, short walking distance to the square.

- Potter (10/5): Loved it - Service was so nice and very helpful! They were all wonderful! Qw oaks was a very nice beautiful place and very historic. I loved it and will go back and give a good word for it There was nothing I couldn't find I didn't like it was very comfortable and relaxing
- Harrison (8/5): Happy Days - Lovely room, exceptionally comfortable bed, good shower and bath with great hot water. I'm sorry but was not at all impressed with the breakfasts. It was nice to be served but a sideboard with a selection of cereals, fruits, yoghurt, juices other than just orange for guests to help themselves to would have been classy. And tea should have been available. I was offered the same yoghurt dish every time. Disappointed not to have something different each day. Also I missed being offered toast and butter with the breakfast and maybe jam, honey etc. For the money I paid it wasn't up to standard.

I have never stayed anywhere so beautiful and beyond clean. There is nothing about this place I could fault. 100% recommend. I will definitely have to stay there again. There's nothing we didn't love about this place.
- Karin (10/5): Lovely historic place - Very comfortable beds. Unique shower in the Catherine suite. Property is beautiful. Breakfast was a lot of food. We didn’t ask but wondering if they would have options for vegans ( everything was animal products based), so if you are a vegan better ask.
It is very close walking distance to the city square.
Lots of books to read while in the B&B about civil war etc.
Wine and Cheese at 5-6pm every night was a blast. Love meeting new people.
- David (9/5): It was a great experience. - Beautiful property close to downtown with afternoon refreshments and an excellent breakfast. The hostess was very hospitable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony beside the pillars There were no suitcase stands in the room.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leslie (10/5): Wonderful relaxing - The property was absolutely stunning.
We loved the sip and nibble because we were able to meet other guests and learn where everyone was from. Needed to have a trash can inside room. There was only a small one in bathroom.
Tv was very small and in odd place to watch.
A box of Kleenex would have been nice.
No complaining just giving useful advice

- Anonymous (9/5): Great time and stay - Proximity to sites snd things we wanted to see and do. Nostalgic feel that the room we stayed in gave. Mary Jane was very friendly and accommodating. No complaints.
- Laura (10/5): Wonderful and highly recommend. - Well appointed, lovely and very clean room. It was like walking into an antebellum home and having a private suite. Loved the ambiance and the experience was very positive. I would stay here again. I like a dark room to sleep in, the windows could use the addition of blackout pull down shades for sleeping at night to prevent the street lights from shining into the room.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julynnet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lacosta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Graeme (10/5): Exceptional -
- Felicia (9/5): Lovely and would definitely recommend - The breakfast was amazing and the peace and quiet was nice. I thought after seeing the other bedrooms and bathrooms that ours wasn’t as nice as the others.

- Shown (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the home and location. Do need more interaction with staff hardly knew anyone was there and did not like fact we booked early and paid way up there and had no shower in our room. Lots of empty rooms as well? Also on third floor no elevators which they stated but would not stay on third floor again. They also served breakfast which was wonderful just felt we had same breakfast over and over.
- Tammy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): It was worth it. - it was beautiful. staff was incredible. walking distance from a bunch of restaurants and stores.
- Mary (6/5): Disappointing. Not worth the cost. - The house main areas of the house were very nice. Our room was small and uncomfortable.
- Chandler (10/5): Exceptional - The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The staff has a lot of knowledge of the history of the estate so it was very interesting to talk to them. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the rooms really feel like you’ve stepped in the 30’s
- Katie (7/5): Good - A beautiful old house and Jeff and Meeta (Mita)
were charming and informative.
Thank you both 🙏
A great location for Old Covington However the grounds were under renovation and our room was freezing. I slept in the dressing gown.
- Christoffersen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caitlin (10/5): AMAZING!!! - This place is amazing. It’s so beautiful and the rooms are are nice and spacious. It’s a 5 minute walk to the town square. Our host Hillary was so lovely and made us amazing breakfast.
We stayed in the frankly Scarlett suite and the shower was incredible. Best shower I’ve ever had.
100% will try and visit again
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): loved it and hope to go again as soon as possible - the look of the rooms the shower had a half ring for the curtain so it was small and I like food so I’m not
- Luis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emily (9/5): Superb -
- Charlene (2/5): booking.com did a bad job of displaying this room - outside was gorgeous. I thought the whole place was vampire diaries themed and it is NOT didn’t realize the room was on the third floor no elevator and an elderly disabled traveler with me. as well as the room not being vampire diaries themed. no coffee available on our floor. must pay for snacks after paying $400 for one room for one night.
