• Kitemandu (9/5): Great first or final stop after arriving or before deperture in inIstanbul - This The Wellborn Hotel is perfectly located for guests to be able to take the wonderful 5-6km walks along the shoreline causeway as dawn awakens over the sea view. When one is finished with that, there is a delicious breakfast spread served by friendly and professions staff. The rooms are very nice and well equipped. I was provided a requested room with a sea view and it was wonderful to be able to open the window and enjoy the sea breeze inside the room. I will be staying there once again at the end of my long driving exploration of Türkiye in mid-March and I look forward to all of the conveyances and comforts that I had enjoyed on my first visit, I'm sure you would feel the serene professionalise that I did during your own stay at Wellborn. It is located only a hour or so from Istanbul Airport so it works for both arrivals and departures I would have appreciated an even better sea view room

Location near to Izmir city-centre 15minutes drive to bazaar and malls. 41 burda mall nearby , huge mall. So much to say. There is nothing to say I don’t like, If room had microwave, which will be additional added value. I requested to sea view room but got Mountain View room :( never-mind overall stay was amazing.

• V5733HHpascalm (8/5): Short Trip Pyramids FC - Wellborn Hotel was an interesting experience. That was the first time that I had almost two weeks stay in a business trip. I discover the Turkish standard in Hospitality. Even if the reputation of the Turkish people being "cold" and smile less were as a majority true, I also found great persons to deal with, smileys and friendly. First I have to thanks the Food and Beverage Department that is for me the Lokomotive of the Hotel. Under the management of Chef Mehmet and the F&B Mr. Gurkan, I found with them a great standard of hospitality in terms of flexibility, quality of service and of course Food quality. Cooks and waiters were all amazing with us too. Housekeeping was great as well, reception guys always alert to help. Madam Nihal Marketing was constantly taking care of details while the presence of the Hotel General Manager on the field was constant which is rare now days, it proves the dynamism of the entire team focusing on hospitality services. Bravo to all, keep going!!!! However, this message is addressed to the owner of the Hotel. A Five star Establishment request facilities standards to be respected which was not the case in certain department. 1) Outdoor pool needs staff supervision and Towels to be available. 2) Room service Food to be provide in the room cannot stopped at 1 Am, 5 stars Hotel supposed to be H24 room service functioning. 3) Hotel Shuttle Bus needs to be provide for VIP services.

• Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Working in the area for 3 days, stayed at the Wellborn for 2 nights. All staff were excellent. They were courteous, professional and helpful. My room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel. Food was good quality breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the rooftop bar was also very good. I would happily come back to the Wellborn if working in the area again. When working in my room or the downstairs lounge I found that the WiFi was stable, but it wasn't quite as quick for download/upload of documents as I am used to in the UK. However , this is only a minor observation and I was still able to have video meetings and work effectively.

It offers both sea and mountain views; I find the mountain view particularly appealing. The hotel's proximity to a mosque means the call to prayer is audible throughout the day. Breakfast is delicious and offers a satisfying variety. The breakfast area is generously sized. The shower offers excellent water pressure and temperature control. The gym is open from 10 to 10. However, I asked to use it after 10, and they allowed me. It represents exceptional value for the price. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel in Izmit. The room had a lingering smell of cigarette smoke, and even though the hotel staff kindly changed our room, the odor remained. I noticed that some other rooms were free of this smell, so I believe a stronger emphasis on enforcing the hotel's non-smoking policy, which they assured me applies to the entire hotel, would be beneficial. Additionally, the gym equipment appears quite dated and could benefit from maintenance or replacement, and perhaps a wider variety of machines would be appreciated.
