- wang (10/5): Amazing experience - I booked this place at a quite low price on booking, about $150. For this price, it’s really a perfect place. The location is amazing, which takes at most 30min to any tourist spot in manhattan by subway. The room is clean and bigger than I expected. No parking place. The valet is far more expensive than finding a public parking by yourself.

Many hotel rooms in New York are small and cramped, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel rooms at The Hampton Inn were more spacious than expected and offered plenty of room to move around. I'm adding this hotel to my preferred list of places to stay when visiting NY.

Staff is nice and accommodating and the breakfast is good, plenty of options for everyone. Our room was on the smaller side but had everything we needed including a bathtub! I needed to soak my bones after being out all day. :-). I would highly recommend staying here.

- Iffyso (8/5): Work trip for a week - Stayed for a week with work. Pros: very convenient for diplomatic work in terms of location. Very convenient location full stop really - Grand Central just round the corner so easy to get anywhere. Comfort: Great. Good bed, shower, and desk in room to work from. House keeping and cleanliness was exceptional. Arianna(?) definitely deserves a pay rise! Her attention to detail and general sense of wanting you to have a great stay comes across, to the point I (as a Brit) was almost embarrassed! Even on the day I told her not to worry about my room she insisted I at least took a clean facecloth. Cons: Main one would be luck of the draw with your neighbours as there is little to no soundproofing between rooms and hall. Great if you have respectful people staying at the same time as you, but there was a notable difference when guests changed toward the end of my stay who had less care for others around them. It seemed to be mostly business travellers on my floor for my stay, so got lucky. Breakfast: A mixed bag, so I feel a bit bad putting this as a con. The staff were lovely and I appreciated the free coffee/teas - although it would be great to have access to the almond milk at all times too - and some fresh fruit options (banana or orange) but after 3 days swerved the food and went and bought some nearby. I just found the offer to be too sweet/lots of high fructose corn syrup which, coming from the UK, was really noticeable. It would great to have some “healthier” options, or even a plain mix for the waffles. After a few days I just didn’t want more boiled eggs! All in all, I would stay here again though.

I booked airport taxi on 20-04-26 but the male receptionist made a mistake booking my taxi. When i checked out I dont have the taxi booking. This kind polite and helpful petite with eyeglasses female young receptionist she booked me again and She apologised for the confusion. Anyway,1 hour before our boarding i realised my wallet was missing. I rang my Aunt if she could go to the hotel to check if the taxi driver return it . Instead She rang the hotel and she was speaking to this rude judgemental staff and she wasnt listening to my Aunt . She accused me that I didnt turn up for my taxi ( Its not my fault regarding the booking) and she said maybe I booked taxi outside. My Aunt keep insisting that I didnt booked taxi outside of the hotel because my Aunt was in the hotel lobby when the female receptionist rang the taxi company. But still this rude staff still insisting that i booked taxi outside. She's not helpful and very rude. Miracle happened taxi driver return my wallet to the hotel. I asked if I could get the number of the taxi driver to give somehting to say Thank you for your kindness and honesty. They cannot give the number . It's frustrating. To this rude and judgemental staff YOU NEED TO KNOW THE WHOLE STORY BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH.I'm not happy accusing me that IT'S MY FAULT. YOU NEED A TRAINING FOR LISTENING and UNDERSTANDING. I sent an email to the hotel. I'm still waiting for their reply.

The 2 bed room is spacious enough and fits 4 adults with ease. Staff is great and helpful. Refund for the deposit was instant. Shower is fixed to the wall, this can be an improvement in the future and something the hotel cannot do anything about, the renovations that are going on vis-a-vis and where work starts at 6 AM :).

Inoltre le lenzuola non le hanno mai cambiate per sei giorni. Shampoo e bagnoschiuma non caricati. Asciugamani cambiato dopo varie richieste. Vito pulizia 2.

Staff gentilissimo e super disponibile, colazione ottima (tutti i giorni qualcosa di diverso), posizione centrale a pochi passi dalla stazione metro/treni principale Grand Central station. Acqua, the e caffè disponibili gratis h24 al piano terra. La camera veniva pulita tutti i giorni compreso il cambio di asciugamani. Wi-fi ha sempre funzionato bene. Consiglio ad occhi chiusi! - CultureWarsVet (10/5): Small for a Hampton, but it works - This property is small (narrow) and not the most modern. However, its location is excellent, and what was most impressive was the staff. Every one was professional, friendly, and energetic. I've not stayed at a property where the entire staff was such an asset to the property. The rooms are typical for moderately priced hotels in the city: small, or euphemistically "cozy." Everything worked in the room. Recommend it as long as you don't need lots of space to sprawl out.
