Guest Reviews
- Prudhviraj (10/5): - Better option for short stay
- Vignesh (7/5): - Location
- Jayshree (7/5): - Location was very convenient, easy to commute, at the same time very peaceful No specific input
- Seamus (7/5): I'd stay there again as a sole traveller looking for a cheap place that is central, clean, and safe - Good food. Good location. Friendly staff. It's a bit run down, but clean and comfortable enough. Good price for where you're staying, which is very central. It's a bit run down.
- Prasenjit (8/5): -
- Dylan (10/5): The property was perfect for our short stop. Nice and clean room located right by the station. - Close to local transport and restaurants. The area felt lively but not too loud. all was good
- Gaël (9/5): Like at home - I'm french, and It was the first time that i came alone to India for one month. It was a chance for me to stay at the Transit Hotel. I was like at home. The hotel has a very good situation, it is very calm. The bed was good, the air conditionned also. The breakfast was simple but enough with fresh fruit and omelette, but also the opportunity to taste local breakfast cooked in live for you by the team. The same for laundry service. The place is very safe and the hotel is under good surveillance. I really appreciated the help of Abinash for everything, the extra teas, the help for rickshaw and learning the indian apps. and the advise about what to eat as indian food. The floors, the shower, and the paint need to be refreshed in this room. The taps are also strange to use. This are the differences with higher level hotel.
- Nivas (8/5): -
- Alexander (9/5): Good value, close to metro and walking distance from bars and restaurants. - Booked this room as friend recommended it, although from some years back.
Room was good size for price with fair features such as small desk and working cable tv. Water bottle provided with soap, shampoo and dental kit.
Proper shower tray, not a wet room.
Indiranagar metro 5 min walk and all of 100ft road bars and restaurants close by - easy to walk to.
Breakfast was good, cooked and served to order (eggs, poha).
Fair quality for price paid and looked after well by Abinash.
If I come back to Bengaluru I'd consider staying here again. Bathroom could do with a renovation but is functional and clean.
- Bhanumati (7/5): -
- Peci3004 (9/5): Hotel in Bangalore sehr gut und preiswert - Schoene grosse Zimmer, ruhige Umgebung.
Abinash hat den Aufenthalt richtig angenehm gestaltet. Absolut empfehlenswert.
- rosalind (9/5): - The property was on a quiet street just a few minutes walk from the metro station so very convenient. Lots of places to eat nearby. The bedding was good and the bed comfortable. Great quality towels!
The room rates are reasonable for the relatively expensive Bengalaru.
- Ram (10/5): Very pleasant visit; we were in town to take care of doctors appointments and several personal errands in Indira Nagar, - Convenient, very good value, and Abinash was extremely pleasant and helpful!
Would definitely stay here again if I am in the area
- Bidisha (10/5): -
- Sushila (8/5): A very convenient hotel near to lots of facilities - Breakfasts were tasty, balanced in terms of healthy eating and quite substantial.
The hotel was within walking distance of good eating places, public transport and shops. Could have done with a larger hot drink, cups were quite small.
There could have been more variety of fruit, just had papaya and watermelon juice.
Unfortunately it was very noisy during the day as the apartment opposite was being upgraded.
- Andrej (10/5): -
- Robert (10/5): -
- Bharath (9/5): -
- Helen (10/5): - Very safe place
- Sabarinath (6/5): - Good location, breakfast is simple and good, staff are really nice. You feel at home Bed is old so it's not comfortable. Lack of maintenance in the property where you have a smell once you enter the room, second toilet seats. Tap, painting needs freshness.
- James (8/5): “Great location, comfy room, friendly staff—ideal for a short, hassle-free stay in Bengaluru. - Perfectly located close to public transport, great dining options, and lively bars. The room was cosy yet well-equipped, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A great choice for a convenient and enjoyable short stay in Bengaluru.

- Shainan (6/5): Basic. Value for money. - Location. Very good spot in Indiranagar. Basic hotel, no frills, value for money. Clean bedsheet, pillow and blanket, no odd smell. Could have been cleaner in general, esp the lobby area and washroom in general can be better maintained. The room cupboard was not very clean, couldn't use it for clothes
- Yujin (10/5): - Staffs are really kind and try all their best to satisfy customers
- Rajkumar (10/5): -
- SHETTY (10/5): - Clean and very helpful staff, especially Abhinash Malik, who made sure my stay was pleasant and all my requests were fulfilled. Booked rooms at this hotel multiple times during my visit from the US.

- Jasmine** (10/5): Abinash is amazing!

- Wilton (10/5): Wonderful Experience - Located close to the metro, this place is just perfect to commute to other parts of the city, place is clean, well maintained rooms, silent atmosphere, tasty breakfast served..
- Siddhi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sabareswar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Connor (10/5): Exceptional - I can't rate this hotel high enough. Being so close to the metro, For the price you pay and to the level of help and care the staff give you. It exceeded my expectations by some distance. Special mention to Abinash, who couldn't be more helpful with anything I asked or needed. Would come back here 100%
- Cherian (9/5): Excellent Value for money - Parking is difficult
- Shawn (9/5): Great staff and very helpful - I really enjoyed my stay here. It's conveniently located near the station which made getting around the city easy. It's 1 street away from the main road and even though it is central, you don't hear as much of the traffic. The staff was great, polite and very helpful when it came to suggesting places to eat. They made sure I was enjoying my stay by asking if I needed anything. I would stay here again.
- Reena (7/5): Good -
- Nemish (8/5): Enjoyed the facilities as provided. - Location was very crucial and important for my work, and the hotel is apt as it connects you with the metro as well as accessible by all cabs, auto's and public conveyance. Amongst the internal amenities, access to more channels on the TV could have been provided. Amongst the toiletries - toothpaste was not provided.
- Davood (10/5): Exceptional - Location, staff and cleanliness
- Haarydrummer (10/5): Exceptional - Location, Staff, Management all were equally great!!!! Definitely will stay again for the next trip...
- Aladi (8/5): Very good -
- Nijs (10/5): Good location and decent rooms - Staff was very helpful and made sure our cleaning was done on time. Thanks Abinash!
Stay was perfectly located close to everything in indirinagar including metro, bars and restaurants. Windows could not be opened in the room
- Sinha (9/5): Superb - I had inadvertently left an envelope containing cash in my room and checked out. To my pleasant surprise, the hotel staff called me and told me about it. By that time I was boarding my flight but I arranged to have the same picked up by a friend. Such is the honesty and integrity shown by the hotel.
- Dhanayan (9/5): Superb -
- Benjamin (10/5): Great location and good value for money - The hotel was in a great location right next to a metro station, but still quiet at night. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help out, the service was superb. All the facilities (AC, hot water, etc.) worked. I cannot think of anything that was missing in this place. In general very good value for money.
- Marlene (3/5): Great Location, very Pricey though. Not Great Price-for-value. - Great Location, the Boys were Great and very helpful. Rooms are Big. No hot water in the Morning or the evening, eventhough hot Water was supposed to be available 24/7. Bottled Water was Chargeable, no fresh towels every day.
- Olga (10/5): I would come again because I was feeling welcomed during my stay. - The hotel is located very close to the Metro station Indiranagar. There are all kinds of shops, eating places and beauty saloons in a walking distance from the property.
My room was clean, WiFi and AC were both working well. There was always hot water in the shower when needed. The bed was good to sleep on. During my stay I was in contact only with one member of the staff, who first met me in the reception, Abinash by name. I appreciate his pro-active approach towards making a guest of the property feel comfortable during the stay. For example, I was given a new complementary bottle of drinking water the next morning without needing to ask for it. I was also helped with carrying the bags and was encouraged to ask for any assistance I would possibly need. After checking out I was asked if I'd like to be helped with hiring a taxi.
All in all, the cleanliness of the place and the welcoming approach of the staff, both beat the simple, basic level of the facilities.
I would come again, and I highly recommend this hotel to others. There was nothing that I did not like in this 3-star property. Below are a couple of things that might be helpful to know for those who want to book a stay in the property.
It was an unexpected challenge to find the hotel. I asked a few local people, and none of them knew where exactly NGEF Lane was. My phone was struggling to get the internet roaming, so I could not use Google maps. Finally I was saved by a young local lady, who kindly escorted me to the hotel using Google maps in her phone.
The hotel is located in 5 min walk from the Metro station. No need to hire transport.
There is a mistake in the hotel's address on booking.com. The code should be 560038 Bangalore. I informed the staff member in the hotel.
The facilities of the hotel are of quite a basic level. I'd say the place is a bit overpriced. But the work approach of Abinash, for example, is much better than I experienced from the staff members in some more expensive hotels in Bangalore. Hopefully the future guests of the hotel will feel as comfortable during their stays as I did.

- Pranav (10/5): Nice stay with good vibes - The hotel is located within walking distance of Indiranagar metro station so everything from food to snacks to local markets is pretty much within walking distance. Also proximity to the metro station ensures connectivity.
The staff were courteous and accommodating and the breakfast was nice too.
Overall the place had a very good and positive vibe . The Bangalore problem of buildings within touching distance of each other so there's no ventilation or direct sunlight
- Sajeevan (8/5): Value for money stay in the prime location in Bangalore - Good location. Property is very close to the metro station Sharp edges on the furniture, especially the cot that can easily scratch or injure your leg if not careful while walking inside room. Edge protection is suggested for such sharp edges
- Somaiah (9/5): Superb -
- Mohan (8/5): Very good -
- Kumar (8/5): Very good - Good
- Rosimeyre (5/5): Passable - The location was good. The tv only had Indian channels. The room amenities were outdated. The window of the room overlooks a nearby building.

- Banupriya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sampath (9/5): Pleasant stay at a great location. - Our stay in Thyme the Transit was very pleasant. We had stayed for 5 nights and it felt like a very good decision to stay here. The hotel was kept very clean. The staff in the hotel were very polite, courteous and helpful. They were very responsive to our smallest of requests like hot drinking water, turning on water heaters at the early hours etc. Excellent location as it is very close to the Indiranagar metro station. Overall we had a very good stay. This is a great choice for a week long stay in Bangalore. Car Parking was a bit tough. We had to park in the street with some difficulty as the street itself was quite narrow.
It felt a bit costlier. Maybe it could have been the holiday season. We stayed paying ~2.5K per night (taxes excluded). And we felt the ideal price should have been 1K lesser than this.
- Vardhaman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Balakumar_h (8/5): Very good -
- Camyla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohanakrishnan (8/5): For the price they charge, it’s worth it. I will surely recommend this place to family and friends. - It’s located close to the metro station and surrounded by good restaurants and shopping outlets. Only minus is they don’t have parking. Guest need to park their vehicle on road side. however staffs are kind enough and they assisted me to find parking area.
- Mathieu (9/5): Superb - Excellent location to discover Indiranagar. Lots of good restaurants and bars in the area.
The manager Mr. Mohan Nanjundiah is extremely friendly and helpful.
- Sushant (9/5): Superb -
