Rahel (6/5): Natur und Lage atemberaubend am Rest muss noch gearbeitet werden. - Traumhaft schöne Lage. Man fühlt sich direkt wie in der Serie McLeods Töchter. Schwer zu toppen so ein Anwesen mit dem Land rund herum. Wirklich fantastisch. Preis Leistung ingsesamt zu teuer. Personal war freundlich aber für ein 5 Sternehotel reicht der Service nicht. Auch das Essen war ok aber wir haben mehr erwartet für diese hohen Preise. Sauberkeit kann man auch noch arbeiten. Vor allem draussen. Die Lounge war leider völlig verdreckt und niemand hat sich verantwortlich gefühlt.

From the moment we arrived, all staff were wonderful. The outlook of the property, the drink service, the breakfast, pool, absolutely everything was wonderful. We can't wait to go back. Little tip, shop at Barossa Fresh (it's AMAZING), visit Freeling if you are a McLeods Daughters fan. Do yourself a favour and visit this beautiful place. :) Absolutely nothing.

Shannon was absolutely incredible — she organised everything I could have wished for and went out of her way to tailor every detail. Nothing was ever a problem, and she truly made a dream come true. Brendo was the best guide — full of laughs and great stories — and Abby looked after me each morning in the restaurant with her bright smile and bubbly energy, the perfect start to every day. The property itself is stunning — peaceful gardens, rolling farm views, and spaces that make you just stop and take it all in. Loved having a go at kegel, an afternoon swim, and relaxing in the bar and restaurant with such attentive staff. Can’t wait to come back some day ! Thankyou to each and every staff member for such a memorable stay :)

Wonderful welcome experience and personalised itinerary. Our room was very small and the price we paid seemed was very high for a double room this small. I guess the beauty of the property and the general surrounds made up for this.

Patricia (10/5): Booking Cancelled; Kingsford Homestead Rescue! - Jacobs Creek Retreat at Moorooroo Park reneged on our reservation two days before we flew to Australia. Hotels.com came to our rescue and found Kingsford Homestead as an alternative. We were the winners after all! Kingsford Homestead was perfect! Amazingly hospitable hosts who made each guess feel at home but pampered! Excellent food in a charming bucolic setting. Our initial panic at not having a booking turned into the perfect week in the Barrossa Valley!

Wayne (10/5): A destination on its own - The Kingsford Homestead is an experience that is offered in few places. Kingsford is an destination on its own that just happens to be in the Barossa Valley. The homestead has been sympathetically renovated and attention to the original detail is exceptional. Jenni and Steve are very welcoming and make you feel as though you have arrived home. I cannot fault the food and the amount wont leave you hungry.
