Located on the waterfront the standard cabin has beautiful views over the lake from the lounge room. Admire the pelicans, black swans and watch the changing colors of the sky when the sun is setting. This 2 bedroom cabin has a queen size bed in bedroom one, and bedroom 2 is fitted with bunks (linen supplied). Also on offer is air-conditioning, a TV with cable channels and a kitchenette with microwave, small oven and hotplates. There is also a shower, toilet and bath linen.

Carolyn (6/5): Nice place to stay but requires a few fixes and upgrades to be considered value for money - We loved the outdoor area and closeness to the lake. The park facilities were great, with the pool and park being ideal for our little one. There was an ant problem in the kitchen. There was also a slight sewerage smell that kept wafting from the bathroom. Also the mattress and pillows were not great.
Alexandr (4/5): Beautiful locatioin, but overpriced - Beatiful location. Paddleboarding / kayaking or fishing right at your doorstep. Enough grassy areas for kids to play around. Really fun little pool and playground. Only a short drive to Forster/Tuncurry beaches, shops etc. Overall, a really nice place to visit, with or without kids. The biggest downside is that for the price paid ($300+ per night for the "villa") it's just not worth the money. I've stayed in similar caravan/camping parks many many times and I'm quite sure this is the most I've ever paid. Is it a beautiful location? Sure, it is. But it will be just as beautiful if staying at a campsite. When you pay $100 above usual price for a cabin (no, it's not a "villa", it's a slightly bigger cabin), you expect it to meet some kind of baseline and have at least something above the standard. But if anything, it was slightly underwhelming in many aspects. No, it wasn't horrible, as I said it was a great stay, but... just many little things which kind of you expect to not worry about when you pay this amount of money (for which you can definitley find some luxury options). Off the top of my head - water pressure is useable, but weakish; two lightbulbs were not working on arrival; front door flyscreen didn't fully close; no nightlight options, only bright ceiling lights, which really is inconvenient with small kids; no spare rubbish bag provided; absurdly noisy vent fan in the shower, sounded like a really old bus engine. And last but not least, laundry costs $7 per wash + $7 per dry. I mean, what is the possible reason why in a similar holiday park around the corner it's $4 and here it's almost twice as much? And yes, of course detergent isn't included. See, these are all small things to complain about, but it kind of just... not worth paying above market rate for. Expected better.

Charlotte (9/5): Lovely stay - Lovely little cabin. Felt so cosy and comfortable. Well appointed kitchen and great deck/bbq. The airconditioning is only in the living room and the back bedroom gets quite hot in the afternoon sun. Took ages for it to cool down, well after 10pm it was still warm even with a ceiling fan.

Proximity to the swimming pool and the lake made it easy for my kids and for me. Staff was helpful and always available to help ( specially when my kids lock us out).Definitely I would like to come back again. Bathroom just a little too small.

Douglas (7/5): Affordable, serene lakeside retreat, great for a family gathering - The location was lovely on the lake. The staff were helpful. The cabin maintenance such as the kitchen tap was in need of repair and the fridge had no door shelves they were broken the shelving it had was damaged & it was a small fridge made smaller with out door shelves. There was some mould on the curtains & the bedroom remote didn’t turn on the TV. 8pm pool closure a bit early for summer

Miriam (9/5): Very comfortable and would recommend and return back to - Unit was well maintained, clean and comfortable. Good parking and relatively quiet for a large park. Kitchen corner by fridge and sink was difficult to access upper cupboard and bench for jug etc.

Hilary (10/5): Relaxing & a great place to stay! - This whole area is beautiful;& this accomodation had spectacular views of the lake with black swans, etc. Also, the staff & accomodation was great. However, I have one complaint, the bathrooms of these units, plus nearly every other motel/accomodation we ever stay at, does not cater to the oldies. The toilets are all very low ones, plus there are no rails or anything to help you pull yourself up of the loo. Also, showers usually have large slippery tiles in them these days, with nothing to steady you from falling. Or, the shower is in a slippery bathtub, no none slip surfaces or rails to hold on to, or in huge spa baths which are even more slippery, again with nothing to hold on to. Considering, a large percentage of travellers are the oldies, they should be catered for. Besides, rails are always essential to stop any age group from slipping. As above, & prevention is better than cure. There are so many - young & old , with broken bones from slipping in the shower. Just ask workers at hospital ED’s.
BigDad (10/5): Great location, facilities and staff! Will be back again! - Great location on the southern side of Forster. Close to grocery shops, local attractions. Conveniently located on the river along with 5-10min drive to main beach. Great on-site facilities! Pool and playground for children was a game-changer! Did I mention the pool is heated!!! Some extra communication from the site prior to arrival was annoying, but communication also made the booking and check-in process smoother.

Amy (10/5): Incredible & Will be back ! - Incredible place to stay for families. Playground & pool at our doorstep ! Staff were absolutely wonderful. Park was extremely tidy and kept beautiful. Cabins were spacious, tidy and in great condition.
