( it was late at night and maintenance had left for the day) They were beyond accommodating Had to request tissues. The box was empty and 2 days un a row they weren't replaced. ( truly not a big deal just found it odd that I had to ask to get them replaced)

Despite the hotel starting to show its age, it was very clean in all public areas and the rooms as well. Just goes to show that a hotel doesn’t have to be new to still be top rated. Cleanliness and courtesy go a long way toward making a stay at this Hampton Inn satisfying. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was ok, but the eggs were cold, the hot water was cold in the breakfast area so it was a problem to enjoy instant grits. And the chicken sausage was tough as cardboard, cold, and very little flavor. The coffee was good and the oatmeal was hot.

Kate and Kayla both made us so welcome with their wonderful smiles and great personalities. We loved talking with both! I had an absolutely wonderful stay. From the front desk to the cleaning ladies, the kitchen (breakfast area) and handyman (Klark), every/ALL member of the staff are wonderful. Polit, efficient, friendly, hard workers, etc etc... My bedroom, with a really comfortable mattress, was spotless every day. A special thank you to Elizabeth, and Brooke. Elizabeth did a wonderful job, restocked my bathroom supplies as well as coffee (THANK YOU THANK YOU).. Kate, Lea, Phoebe to name just few of them are real ambassadors of this hotel. They have excellent customer service skills (thank you to their fantastic manager Maria). Adriana, as always, is the best in the kitchen.. the breakfast has a nice variety of delicious choices, from fresh fruits, yoghurts, breads, muffins, to scrambled eggs, potatoes, hot meal, waffles with all the toppings, healthy cereals, etc etc. I do LOVE and enjoy every time I am here this excellent gym, clean, modern equipment, lot of weights, treadmill, peloton bike etc etc. The pool (I didn't try yet) was just waiting for the next happy kids to jump in!!! The parking is big, near a lot of dining options within walking distance. THANK YOU all for your fantastic job. The staff is always willing to do everything they can to help you. They keep for me my iceboxes in their freezer while I stay there for a week... See you soon. Christine

- patrickwW6338UP (10/5): Amazing stay! - I stayed here for a work trip, but due to the recent storm my flight was canceled and I unexpectedly had to extend my stay by two additional days. The entire staff immediately made the situation so much better. But Treena at the front desk was the highlight of the trip. She truly turned what could have been a miserable trip into something comforting. From the moment my flight was first delayed to the third cancellation, she was positive and up beat with all of us snowed in. She consistently checked in with me and made sure I had everything I needed. She went above and beyond to help. When my flight was canceled for the third time, Treena took the time to print out all the flights going out and helped find me one at a different airport so I could finally make it home. Treena is hands down one of the friendliest receptionists I’ve ever met. She made the hotel feel like a family and absolutely deserves the recognition and a raise. Thank you to the entire team for making an unexpected extension feel far less stressful. I couldn’t have asked for a better place or better people to be snowed in with.

She spent time rearranging rooms etc so I could get a room for my whole stay. She is wonderful to work with. Plus, room is clean and bed comfortable and bathroom ideal. Wonderful experience working with her.

- famillelanglois (10/5): You will be my first choice.. Best hotel at Jacksonville NC - Fantastic place where you feel at home. Was there a full week and I had the chance, really the chance, to meet fantastic workers. Most of the staff that works in this hotel, is friendly and helpful, respectful and really professional. They go above and beyond to make sure that you have everything you need and provide an excellent service. I would like to mention Lea and Treena at the front desk who have a good idea of the definition of "customer service", Elisabeth as a housekeeper, and finally, the best asset to this hotel, Adriana that will work terribly hard to provide "your breakfast", which is really tasty and diverse... Really impressive.. Adriana is always smiling and responding positively to whatever you ask her, regardless how many people are in this "breakfast area". To complete this review, you CAN'T BE WRONG if you stay here. Always clean, quiet and convenient (lot of restaurants in walking distance, as well as Target, Walmart, Pets store), A SURPRISING full equipe GYM room, a pool, lot of parking. One of the best in Jacksonville.

- theresalZ7501CF (10/5): Great hotel stay - A Ladies Night Out celebration was planned to celebrate August birthdays. The room provided was clean, comfortable and spacious for the affair. Friends came with one of their specialty food dishes and drinks, or purchased food we all could enjoy. We even had time to play two games during the celebration. The hotel staff was very cordial. We started cleaning up about one hour before our end time. Shout out to Lea, Treena and Josh for their assistance and hospitality. Some of us continued the celebration with adjoining rooms, which allowed us to have some much-needed heart to heart talks. We had breakfast the next morning and then were off to our homes.

- V6490OLbenjaminp (10/5): Amazing visit!!! - Our visit to this hotel was amazing! It was clean, quiet and convenient. There is also more than enough parking area. However, the best part of our visit was, by far, the service. When my daughter and I checked in we met an employee named Lea. Lea helped us adjusting our reservation and she was extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave us such good advice on places to visit. I have been to SEVERAL different Hiltons, and this was the best service my daughter and I have ever received. Thanks Hilton for hiring such an amazing staff - especially Lea!
- lyettaf (10/5): Ladies Night - First of all, I like liz with sales and marketing who went above and beyond to make sure the tables in the meeting hall was set up for our "Ladies Night ". When we got there Lea was at front desk to assist our needs along with Josh housekeeping who assist moving few items. Lea assured us we could check in to our rooms early. (Thanks Liz!) Treena was there to assist us with our needs as we had our gathering. She asked if we needed anything and was very nice and kind. The entire staff the weekend of 23 August 2025 we appreciate. The staff was friendly and always displayed a good attitude. Zenaida and Gabby were excellent stood out to me during my stay and made me feel like I was at home.

- lizmouse (10/5): Great family hotel with a superb staff! - The staff is the reason this is such a great hotel! From the front desk Kate, MJ, and Shenikwa to housekeepers Taylor and Sherry. The rooms and common areas are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is fresh and hot and plentiful. I wish I had the names of those working in the breakfast area July 18-22 because they were OUTSTANDING!! Great location with shopping and lots of restaurants within walking distance.

- Jae (6/5): - Our room was large with comfortable beds. The bathroom was disgusting and needs a renovation. The tub was filthy with the bottom peeling. The floors in the bathroom and the carpet in the room was sticky so I wore my flip flops the entire time. The hot breakfast was basic and had “chicken sausage” instead of bacon. I won’t book here again. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a great location but there are plenty of hotels next door to choose from. Time for a renovation!

I came down for family reunion and had a few rough nights while waiting for family to arrive and they made my stay so much better. They are a compassionate team. I'm addition to that the hotel was bigger than I thought and the room was comfy for a long stay.
