Guest Reviews
- Maricel (8/5): "Cosy Comfort and a Few Bumps in the Road: My Expe - The beds are so comfortable to sleep with and the availability of hot and cold water in the shower ensures a refreshing start to your day or night (?).
While it provides a wonderful setting for our stay, there are a few minor hiccups to be aware of. Sadly, toothbrush and toothpaste are not included, so make sure to pack your essentials. Additionally, if you need a workspace, you might need to get a bit creative, as there isn't a designated area for work, despite the presence of small bedside tables.
One of the highlights of our stay was the unexpected adventure of using a physical keycard when our electronic one malfunctioned. Even though there was a minor inconvenience due to elevator maintenance during our visit, the experience of navigating the charming spiral staircase from the 6th floor to the basement added an amusing twist to our Monday morning. It was exhausting haha.. What a good Monday morning exercise that was!
Green Windows Dormitel's location is ideal for those looking to explore the area. You'll find yourself within easy reach of a 7/11, inviting cafes, rejuvenating massage spas, and delicious food options like the enticing 'silog' dishes.
It's a good choice for accommodation. Don't let the minor quirks deter you – the overall comfort, cleanliness, and proximity to local amenities make it a wonderful choice for your next travel.
- William (6/5): - Value for money
- Sheena (8/5): - Towels and bed linens, floors are fresh and clean. The toilet and bathroom, nevertheless ahould need to be scented to enhance comfort and eliminate possible unwanted odors.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Still expensive for$22 nightly. Place isn't up to the challenge. Seems like Owners/Mgmt stop caring.
- Rachel (8/5): - The check in staff were friendly and had wonderful English skills. They couldn't find 1 of my 2 reservations at first, but they did after some more digging. The initial room I was taken to did not have functioning AC, so they were prompt in switching me to another room that did. Check out was swift and it was a quiet place to stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Quite okay but need renovation. I killed one cockcroach when entering the room. No window at all. No complementary mineral water available. Good warm water for shower. Staff does not clean properly the saniwares so you have traces of calcium: need proper training and supervision. You have to deposit 500 Php for use of remote control and get it back upon check-out. Good wifi in the room. Easy to get a taxi.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing at all It was not a good place smelly and not clean
- Verified traveler (4/5): - no table and chair no mirror, no drinking water look old
- Emelita (6/5): - The linens smell fresh but the bathroom stinks. Guess its the septic tank odor.
- Bangie (2/5): - Hotel is old , room stinks , towels and bedsheets are old and looks dirty, hallway is dark ! Will not recommend it to my clients!!!
- karl (4/5): - The hotel was fine clean check in was quick only thing was i booked window room but they had none but room was big and roomy
But no wondow.staff was very good.
The only bad thing was and not hotel falt was i booked 4 nights but left after 2 days flow out of daveo jue to the total ban on smoking city wide if i know that i wouldn't of went but not hotel falt hotel was great loaction good walking distance to everywhere.but smokers beware can't smoke anywhere in daveo city.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Accessible to dining, malling areas. - The place is easy to find and accessible with private and public transportation. Though parking space of the building is limited. Its just a good thing that the guards are helpful in looking for ways so that we can find a parking area for the whole duration of our stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was good. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and the people at the cafeteria had been very accommodating.
- William (8/5): Great location close to Davao Doctors - 4 th time stayed great location
- Scott (4/5): Maybe They Gave Me Their Worst Room... - The room smelled like an old taxi cab, and the bathroom smelled strongly of mold. The aircon unit in the room was dirty and falling apart. The lights were quite dim, and the room had no window. The staff seemed friendly, though I had minimal interaction with them during my stay. Going by the condition of the room I stayed in(mainly the horrible smells), I would not recommend Green Windows to anyone. There are many better, odor-neutral options in Davao.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This the only place that offers 2 queen bed in a roomwith in our budget
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The rooms are spacious and comfy. It just need to follow up with the house keeping. We had a glass in the room and it was not cleaned for the duration of our stay and they did not cleaned the bathroom well with no shampoo and soap refill. But overall, it was a comfy stay with nice and friendly staff.
- ERIC (8/5): Safe Place - We had a safe, clean, and comfortable accommodation. And this is our 2nd time to stay in this place.
- AMELIA {Amie) (6/5): - We stayed for two nights in one room for four person with free breakfast but only good for two person although we were four but the hotel advertise it as "with free breakfast". The hotel front desk has no computer to accommodate those who would like to print the boarding pass for a web check in clients, as for me I have still to look for a computer shop where I can print our boarding pass.
- Dave&Ymae (8/5): Extremely Convenient - This Davao Dormitel may be a little pricey compared to others in the area, but it is a very central location with covered parking, elevators, lots of helpful staff and nice big clean rooms. In fact, there are rooms for all price ranges and if you are traveling in a group I think the Dorm-type rooms would be great value. We actually went back the next week to stay again but it was full.
We did not get the famed view of Mt. Apo as that is only available from the higher numbered rooms (11 and up, I think). Our room faced South and was very hot from the sun when we checked in. However the Aircon soon cooled it. There were plenty of power outlets and a good work space for my laptop. The tv worked fine. Nothing much else to say - it's a very 'no frills' place. My favourite things were the brewed coffee available in the canteen and the convenience of stores around and inside the hotel. Value for money is about average.
