• Elizabeth (10/5): Fantastic visit and we would definitely return to this location! - The location is fantastic- right on the water and on the riva. The room is comfortable and clean. We loved the terrace- it overlooks the boardwalk and we spent the afternoon sipping beverages and watching the activity below. The room was clean,bright and was appointed with a selection of teas and coffee. Sime is a great host. He is very attentive and wanting his guests to have the best visit possible in Split. He went out of his way at the end of our stay to help us with an uber back to the airport. There really wasn’t anything we disliked.

• S (10/5): By far one of the best locations I have stayed for much needed relaxation and rest. - We had not planned to stay in Split originally, but found this place online and the pictures alone do not do it justice. It was such an amazing and comfortable place with an wonderful view of the water and welcoming accommodations. One of the best parts was meeting Sime who was so professional, courteous, thoughtful and friendly. He went above and beyond to meet our specific needs during our stay. When I return to Split, I will definitely make sure to stay in this location again. You will not be disappointed in any regard. There is nothing that I would change about my stay at Riva Luxury Suites. I only wish that we could have stayed longer to enjoy visiting more of the palace and surrounding ruins.

• Brett (10/5): Best ever! - This is an amazing place to stay: accommodations, staff, and location. It was centrally located with a beautiful view over the water and the rooftop deck was just the best. We hosted some friends up there and Sime gave us some additional glasses and wine for the event. The support staff went above and beyond to make our stay great. This was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed while traveling across the globe. And, the included breakfast was something we looked forward to after our first breakfast, just yummy!. You will not be dissatisfied. Everything was great.

• Jorge (10/5): - Excellent location, on the middle of everything. This is were you want to stay for sightseeing, shopping and dining. And most tours depart within a few steps. The view from the windows and the terrace is great. It is a super busy location all day and night, but noise isolation is good, so once you close the windows you don’t hear anything. It is an old building, but well maintained while keeping its traditional look. They had made a great job at making the interior a comfortable place. If I have to be picky: 1. the shower is not that big and the curtain tends to move inwards, leaving you little space. 2. The window blinds let some light in, specially in the morning.

Trapporna upp till rummet var lite smala och branta om man har för stor resväska men absolut inget hinder för att ta sig till rummet på 3 våningen.

We were greeted upon arrival and were given an overview of all aspects of the apartment plus personalized recommendations of restaurants and activities. Breakfast was included at a local restaurant and was delicious! The location was perfect - right along the Riva Promenade with beautiful views and so close to everything. In addition to included amenities, we were provided help with luggage storage outside of our stay and help getting to our ferry. This property has high reviews for a reason. If it’s available, stay here while in Split!

The bed was so comfortable especially after a day of walking. So close to everything. I would highly recommend for a fun island experience. The room and balcony were every clean.
• chaserhahn (10/5): Great place but some items to know - This is a beautiful place. It’s not an apartment because it doesn’t have a kitchen, but for a short stay, it is lovely. It is perfectly located with a gorgeous view of the harbor and promenade. The room was VERY clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The separate bathtub was a nice feature, along with the mini-fridge. Šime, our host, was extremely accommodating. The highlight is the HUGE private terrace on the top - you can see all over. Great place. 3 items to note - 1) if you must sleep in quiet, this is NOT the place for you. Even with the windows shut, you can hear noise below pretty much all night. 2) if you must sleep in darkness, this is not the place for you. The curtains are sheer and do not block the lights from the promenade. 3) if you can’t climb 3 flights of steep and narrow stairs with your luggage, this is not the place. If those 3 things don’t bother you, it is perfect!!

• Kumquat30 (10/5): Gorgeous views, very special accommodation. - One of the nicest places we have stayed recently, huge living/dining area, superior views of Riva/water from unit and terrace, nicely decorated, easy access to sights, beaches and park. Wall of glass doors opens to breeze, sunset, boats and fills the place with light. Roko is attentive and full of helpful info. The two restaurants that are breakfast options are perfect, with fantastic full breakfast choices, one has outdoor dining on the Riva if you prefer. You cannot go wrong here. Nothing, wonderful stay!

Yes it is on the main strip which gets busy in the day, but the suite itself is quiet and comfortable. Plus the rooftop terrace is absolutely amazing. Views of sunrise and sunset. • Eva (10/5): Fantastic spacious, bright and airy apartment with great view from open plan living / balcony! - Apartment is beautiful - open, airy, bright, clean - exceeded expectations! Wonderful balcony with bi-fold doors, whole length of the apartment, overlooking Riva with bustling restaurants underneath. Host was lovely and met us at the street and showed us to the apartment and helped with the suitcases, plus gave useful information to navigate Split. Massive amount of floor space and we comfortably stayed with 3 people using the sofa bed. Unfortunately the open air rooftop nightclub just down the road on the main harbour front plays very loud dance music until the early hours each night! It does completely drown out any peaceful sounds at night anywhere you are along the waterfront!

Toilet had slow leak so we could hear the valve frequently topping-off the tank. Taking a shower resulted in quite a bit of water on the floor. We quicky learned how to place a towel on the floor to catch the water. Toilet compartment not very sound-proof.

Great balcony, bifold doors and view. Excellent arrangement with two local restaurants for really fab breakfast. Up 3 flights of stairs with no lift, and Roko helped with our bags. Nothing.

• Deborah (9/5): Great location, stunning view. - Lovely apartment with stunning view, especially with the bi-fold windows pulled back. Location right in the thick of things, and easy access from the ferry. Really nice, responsive hosts and all requests met promptly without fuss. Note: upper level apartment with no lift. Hosts helped us with luggage. The downside of the Riva location was the noise! It's not a problem in the bedroom which is double-glazed but does affect the living area with the doors open. Although the apartment is lovely, some of the furnishings could do with a more contemporary make-over and it didn't score so well in our books on a 'value for money' basis. Personally, since we try not to eat breakfast on holiday we'd have preferred a lower rate with breakfast not being included. The breakfast (we went to Brasserie 07) was excellent however.
• Michael (9/5): Great spacious modern apartment. - Great location and very spacious. Added bonus of washer and dryer combo. Roko great host and available to assist with any local advice. Sofa bed in living room however no block out blinds if you’re sleeping in that area.
• Yuko (10/5): Exceptional - The location was fantastic. It was close to all the places that I wanted to go. Although it wasn't a hotel, Roco was at my service all the time to support me. Room was very comfortable and the view of port of split was absoulutely wonderful and relaxing. We wished that we could stay for more!

Best part is the views of the water right from your unit! Stumbling distance to all the restaurants and sightseeing spots. Check in was very personal and helpful. Was so happy with the stay!
• Michael (10/5): Wow, what a view! - The view was the best part of the apartment. A better view than anyplace we have stayed in Europe. The walk from the Split Promenade through part of the Palace to the apartment was amazing to include the ancient stone work little nooks and crannies with restaurants and bars tucked into the coziest of places. The location was in the wall of the Palace itself. The apartment had a washer/dryer. The apartment provided maid service. The apartment provided excellent breakfast at two different restaurants. The manager connected with us at the Split Promenade and assisted with luggage to the apartment. He went through everything in the apartment and recommendations for Split. There was no elevator. No problem for my wife and me, but would have been a deal breaker for some. If you can handle a few flights of stairs this is might be the best place in Split to stay. Apartment could use two bar height stools for sitting out on the porch viewing the promenade and harbor. A chair is too short to have a good view of the promenade. Standing is great, but sitting higher up would be outstanding.
• David (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed in the top floor suite which also had a private roof top terrace and the views were stunning from both, the photos don't do it justice. Perfect location right above the Riva promenade and just 2 minutes walk into the old Palace. Hosts Roko and Ante were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended There's nothing not to like!

• Jacqueline (10/5): This luxury apartment delivers all its promises and then some with an amazing host. WORTH the money! - Holy moly, the photos don’t do it justice. That view is stunning, and you are high enough above the promenade that nobody looks up enough to see you watching them. The apartment has every modern convenience you could ask for, including a clothes washer/dryer combo unit! We planned to grab fresh ingredients from the famers market and cook one night, but we were so tired from excursions we ate out and brought drinks back instead - kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed! The mini welcome champagne was a wonderful and welcome surprise, too. Cleaning lady was efficient and replaced towels every day! I also loved how tucked away the building entrance was. But all of this pales in comparison to Roko’s incredible help, communication, and friendliness! His assistance and availability were instrumental to our getting to and from the apartment comfortably. There are a LOT of stairs to get to the room, and he helped carry our heavy luggage the whole way there and then again to the ferry when we checked out! Absolutely outstanding host who made our honeymoon in Split a magical experience. You’re high up enough that the majority of noise from the promenade isn’t too bad, but I was still grateful I brought a pair of earplugs — light sleepers should definitely bring them anyway. And of course anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs should be warned of the many flights required to climb (we didn’t mind — helped burn off all the gelato)
• lynnbN3889RY (10/5): Hidden gem on the riva - This is a real gem on the Riva. Can’t get a better location-just steps from the palace, the pier, and to a of restaurants bars and shops. Small old building but updated nicely with new bathrooms, outlets etc. roko was amazing. He helped us with our luggage because there are lots of stairs. He also made himself available for any questions, directions, recommendations etc. which. No hotel amenities like concierge but does have daily maid service. If you have your plans set and are pretty self sufficient this is a great place to call home base.

Conveniently, it was just a few meters down the street, with great food and a wonderful staff. The location must be the best in Split, right on the Riva and with a fantastic sea view. The WiFi and streaming options are unbeatable. Best of all likes was dealing with our host, Roko. Wonderful, friendly, attentive... what more could you want in a host? Eating out three times a day can be taxing. Just a small microwave to heat or reheat leftovers would be a super option.
• RobertJoyce3 (10/5): Absolutely wonderful and memorable - This was our third holiday staying at Riva Luxury suites. We held very special and happy memories of our previous visits. One always wonders if the next visit will live up to those memories and expectations. I am happy to say that they were not only met but exceeded. We were warmly greeted by Roko who had organised and arranged everything perfectly for us. The suite was immaculate and just as we remembered it. So bright with all three windows having wonderful sea views. The room had a large comfortable bed and everything one could wish for. Wi fi was excellent as was the air conditioning. The location could not be better with unobstructed interesting sea views of all the shipping and boats. Less than a two minute walk takes you into the fascinating centre of the old historic town. Vouchers are given to exchange for a splendid breakfast at a choice of two restaurants. I have kept the two best things until the end. The first is the stunning fully furnished sun terrace. This is accessed by a stairway built into the suite. It has an awning that can be drawn for shade, cosy night lighting and an even more spectacular view. The other is Roko himself. One could not wish for a more welcoming, pleasant helpful and reliable gentleman. He speaks excellent English and never did we once feel that anything was too much trouble. All this with a great sense of humour. Thank you Roko for not only looking after us but for making many more happy memories. Wishing you well and hoping the future brings all you hope for. ..... • Derek (10/5): Fantastic location and value - Roko met us at check in with a lot of good advice for the area. They included vouchers for free breakfast each day at a wonderful Cafe. I didn't know about this in advance, which was a nice surprise. The unit is comfortable and the location is really unbeatable. Really the only negative is that the shower is really small and has a curtain instead of a door (there is a large tub, however).

• Robin (10/5): - Where do I start! Every aspect of the place and the service made our stay absolutely wonderful. Roko, the property manager answered any texts within minutes. He was beyond helpful. They thought of everything to make our sty perfect. I do have to mention the views which were amazing.

Excellent service with a smile, thank you Roko. The suite's location is unbeatable. Double windows kept the noise out. Suite was cleaned daily. Downsides: do note you need to walk up/down flights of stairs. The bed was too soft (my personal preference for firm mattress).

• Dave (10/5): - This is a beautiful boutique hotel right in the perfect area in Split. The room itself is lovely and the host has provided amenities to make the stay very comfortable. Right outside the door is the harbor with a beautiful promenade, restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend this property and will stay here again next time we are in Split.

• U5046TEsharons (10/5): Best Accommodation, Best Spot, Best Views, what more could you want!! - What a beautiful spot in Split. We stayed at the Riva Luxury Suites in the Luxury Apartment. It's up a couple of flights of stairs but don't worry because our host, Roko, (whom we thank from the bottom of our hearts) carried both our suitcases upstairs for us, gave us tips on where to go etc. He also brought me some English Breakfast tea bags as they didn't have any of that kind in the apartment. He then met us the morning we were leaving to say goodbye and carry our suitcases back down again. The apartment had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. All quite new appliances, including a washing machine and dryer, ironing board and iron, which are a godsend when you've been travelling for weeks without them!! We found the apartment to be very clean, it had a comfortable bed and pillows and if it gets chilly at all, there are several blankets and extra pillows in the wardrobe. A nice touch was also having bathrobes and slippers to use! The view was superb. You look out onto that water, with all the boats coming and going and plenty of restaurants, cafes and ice cream places right below you, such a buzz of life and activity all around you. Of course, you are also in the walls of the ancient Diocletian’s Palace, with all those beautiful little streets and squares and once again so many places to eat and drink and shop. Riva Luxury Suites are the perfect spot to stay, and your host Roko is wonderful. My one tip what to do.... Go on the Catamaran "Summer Blues" docked there right in front of our room. It was the best day out on the water. Or family were with us, and everyone agreed, it was one of the best highlights of our European trip!!
