• 866carmelal (2/5): Terrible - I am writing on behalf of my friends that started at the Windmill. On the Sunday the 3rd of May we accompanied our friends to the Windmill by car as it was rather late: around 11:00 pm. They come to visit London for the first time. We left them at the accommodation and 5 minutes later they called to say the were locked out because the code to open the main entrance wasn’t going through. We returned with the car at the Windmill to find them outside unable to gain access. The area is very poor and not nice and there were lots of people drunk, smoking drugs and literally urinating by the side of the guest house exposing their genitalia. We tried to call the 24hrs service line and no one answered. We try the bell and no one answered. My friends were panicking because their belongings were in the accommodation and the were departing the day after. Close to 1am a group of the guests came and opened the door saying that the guest house had changed the code without advising the actual guests: they were lucky to have spoken to someone before they left the accommodation and found out about the new code. The guest house has no fire safety and the 24hrs line doesn’t work. And there is no one at night to safeguard the guests. We will not advice this accommodation to our friends and family, or anyone. Really horrible customer service and experience.

• Jenny (8/5): Perfect for a few nights, very good value, bus outside hotel to tube (or a 10 minute walk) and less than 30 mins into ce - Spotlessly clean rooms and very friendly and helpful staff Rooms were a little small so wouldn’t want to stay for more than 1-2 nights

Ten minutes walk to Kilburn underground station with frequent trains to Central London. Being on a main road it was quite noisy, but that's expected in London.
• Mauro (8/5): Ottima base per muoversi a Londra - posizione, facilità di check-in e check-out, assistenza telefonica all'arrivo, risposte veloci e complete alle richieste, ampiezza e pulizia della camera il piatto doccia risultava scivoloso e quindi pericoloso, a causa di un cavo corto e della presa elettrica vicino al pavimento il bollitore per potere funzionare doveva essere appoggiato per terra. Non era possibile aprire le finestre

• Anika (9/5): - Es war sehr sauber und die Inhaber waren sehr freundlich. Meine schwere Tasche wurde mir freundlicherweise in die zweite Etage getragen. 15 min. Fussmarsch zur U-Bahn und dann nochmal ca 20 Minuten fahren und man ist am Big Ben. Ich hatte in Deutschland ein Paket bestellt und die Lieferung erfolgte nur innerhalb der UK. Nach kurzer Rücksprache durfte ich das Paket ohne Probleme 3 Wochen vorher ins Hotel schicken lassen und es wurde dort für mich aufbewahrt. Nochmals vielen herzlichen Dank 🫶🏻 Unser Zimmer lag zur Straße raus und da ist es schon etwas unruhig (da gegenüber auch ein Pub ist). Nach einem langen Tag, fällt man aber irgendwann in den Schlaf 😅

Tienen tetera con cafe y te de cortesia, que luego de un dia largo se agradece. En frente hay un pub con muy buenos precios. Cenamos y desayunamos ahi, muy bueno precio/calidad. Pensábamos que era un poco mas cerca. Esta muy bien conectado, ya que tienes un bus que te deja en la puerta, pero debes tomar si o si entre 2 a 3 transportes para arribar.

• chl (8/5): Basically they have all what you need. - Contactless check-in, very convenient. The staff contacted me two days before check-in. Generally it's quite clean, even though the facilities are not very new, I don't really feel that it's out of maintenance. The area is although far from city center, it's not a problem for me at all. The benefit is that on the main street in front there are options for street food, supermarkets and cafe. And the price is kinda friendly. I think I would come back when I visit Cricklewood again. The room is quite small. I had only a cabinet luggage however when I unfolded it I could hardly find a way to move in the room. But the price is quite low, so I would still accept it.

• CornishAstie (7/5): Great find but noisy road - Brian was very attentive, calling on the morning of check in, explaining how to access the car park (which is secure) and checking that we'd managed our self check in okay. The room was small without being poky and it was good value for money. Our room was on the main road side so was noisy throughout the night. Fine if you're a deep sleeper but if you're a light sleeper then bring ear plugs!

Carina l’idea del bar con i giochi da tavolo a disposizione. Posizione strategica, con metro a 15 minuti a piedi e molte fermate bus sotto la struttura. La zona non è bellissima, però con i mezzi ci si muove bene. Bagno e soprattutto lavandino piccolino, ma la camera era molto accogliente. Camera poco insonorizzata, ma gli ospiti sono stati discreti

Exceptionally clean and the bed was so soft and comfortable that I had trouble getting up!! Would definitely recommend. Creaky stairs meant that I was conscious of the coming and going of other guests.

• Ursula (9/5): Für einen Kurzaufenthalt perfekt! - Die Eigentümerin war super freundlich und unkompliziert. Das Pub als Frühstücksraum wirklich toll! Der Bus zur U-Bahn oder auch weiter Richtung Grand Arch fuhr direkt vor der Tür ab. Zunächst hat es uns nicht so gut gefallen, dass wir im Erdgeschoss wohnten und nicht aus dem Fenster schauen konnten. Aber eigentlich war es egal, da wir eh nur zum Schlafen im Hotel waren.

• Gaia (8/5): Ottimo soggiorno rapporto qualità-prezzo - l'hotel è molto carino, noi siamo stati a dicembre e la camera era sempre calda e pulita, acqua calda sempre disponibile e non abbiamo avuto nessun problema. Il prezzo fantastico È collegato bene ai mezzi, ma è comunque parecchio lontano dal centro la porta della doccia era rotta e si chiudeva male anche una parte del letto di ferro era rotta il letto era molto duro e si faceva fatica a dormire

• Nagy (9/5): Felt like a family visit - We had a very warm welcome on arrival. We arrived early but Christin had gone the extra mile to get us a room ASAP so we could check in early. Communication, even prior to arrival, was straightforward and had quick reply to our enquiries. We felt like we were part of a family. The only downside we found was that we could hear the male guest talking next door. I guess he had a very strong voice. As we hardly stayed in the hotel this was not a bother at all, however.

Il y avait des chambres familiales, le nécessaire pour un court séjour, et de quoi faire un petit déjeuner. La nuit on voyait la lumière et on entendait les bruits de la rue. Mauvaise odeur dans notre chambre. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de prendre un repas dans le restaurant, dommage c'était fermé à notre arrivée à 22h.

• Ignacio (7/5): Aconsejable - La zona está muy bien comunicada con metro, tren y autobuses; igualmente tiene bastantes mercados para abastecerte. Y por supuesto el trato de la chica alemana del hotel, no se su nombre pero exquisito Bastante lejos del aeropuerto de Gatwick
