Diane (7/5): Free carparking, comfy bed & clean room. - Clean room, comfortable bed, helpful staff and free car parking easy to get to. Location was a little way from the middle of Rangiora but there were hotels and eating places quite close by. The motel is desperately in need of redecoration, wall paper peeling off in our room, rotten board in the shower but otherwise ok.

Staff were fantastic. Wifi wasn't working in our room. I know an updating plan is in place but the large spa bath with shower over it was difficult for older people to get in and out of so created accessability issues.

Checking policy we gave enough notice but weren’t allowed so had to pay even though we didn’t stay there. Also told not to book through via booking.com as more expensive due to the fees they have to pay!! That’s disappointing!

Waynedvh (8/5): Clean & Tidy - Older style motels units the owners have put their stamp on these to make your stay comfortable. Our queen studio came with a microwave, jug, toaster, cutlery, plates etc so perfect for a light meal. Units nice and warm, some noise but certainly value for money.

Stay upstairs was good but no lighting down stairs or in parking space so had to use phones

Gina (7/5): We have stayed before and would stay again, you get what you pay for, very clean and tidy! - It was what we expected, comfortable and clean. The shower pressure was almost none existence and we were concerned for the poor fish in the tiny tank at the front office but otherwise we enjoyed our stay and the owners were lovely to deal with. Poor fish need a bigger tank, shower pressure and confront mirrors in shower, I have never seen myself at all those angles and never want to again 😁

Ray (6/5): Overall, the Studio apartment is dated and in need of a refreshing refurbishment. - Location was ideal, and staff were friendly and helpful. It was clean and fresh on arrival. Appreciating that it was a Studio apartment, it was quite cramped, particularly the bathroom. Found the stainless steel showerbase to be very slippering and a hazard when having to step down from the shower to the floor. A non-slip shower mat would overcome this problem. In the main room there was a cabinet for cutlery and dishes which was fine, but on top of the cabinet where the kettle resided there was a multiplug power adapter to which the microwave, toaster, and kettle had to be plugged in. Any water spillage from the kettle could have caused a health and safety problem. Given the lack of wall power points which necessiated the multiplug power adapter, the latter should be mounted on the wall and not on the cabinet.
