Room facilities superb and the little extra touches of the whisky and sweeties was something I’ve not had in a B&B before. Nothing.

Dining room smelt a little musty on arrival & bedroom window frame needs a clean but otherwise all fine & nice touch of a dram of whisky & a chocolate on offer in the room.

• Gary (8/5): - The location was lovely, a very good breakfast, cannot complain. However, the heating in the room did not come on until the early hours, very cold in the evening. The heating was an issue, it was quite cold in the evening when getting ready to go out.

• Barbara (8/5): We only stayed one night but found everything to be satisfactory and comfortable. - Great choice for breakfast with everything you could wish for for a good start to the day. The service was highly satisfactory. Lisa was friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Everything was fine, we didn't feel it fell short in any way.
• John (9/5): Very pleasant. - The breakfast was perfect, probably the best we’ve had at a B&B. We loved our room which was a good size and little extras provided were a lovely touch. The radiator in the room never warmed up, we forgot to tell the owner.

• Linda (9/5): A stopover on our way further up north. We would thoroughly recommend staying here. - The location was great, at the top of the high street just around the bend. Parking was available outside the property for free. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The bed was comfortable, there was a TV in the room with all the usual channels. Free Wi-Fi was included in the price as was the breakfast. There were a variety of teas/coffees etc available along with biscuits and a small decanter with whiskey and a chocolate. We were very impressed. The breakfast was excellent, every kind of cereal, toast, spread, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal bars, porridge were on offer along with a a full cooked breakfast. Drinks included, fresh filtered coffee, tea, herbals, fruit juice and milk. Nothing, everything was great.

• Ann-Kristin (10/5): Fint och prisvärt boende i en liten by med många pubar och matställen - Underbart, välkomnande boende. Inte minst whisky och choklad bidrog till detta!! Sympatiskt värdpar. Rikligt med toalettartiklar. Litet tips: bra, men trång parkering bakom huset. Låt bilen stå på gatan.

• Nanja (9/5): Fantastisch! Als we weer in de buurt zijn, gaan we er graag nog een keer naar toe! - Ruime kamer, goed ontbijt, genoeg extra dingen op de kamer zoals snoepjes, koekjes, drinken, kleine whisky. Opladen met usb. Echt modern. De douche was warm, alleen een zeer kleine straal kwam eruit.

The room was lovely, clean and well furnished, there were also a few treats which was a lovely thought. The b&B itself was only a few minutes walk from the town centre which was really handy! We were welcomed by the lady who owned the b&B and she was very nice and helpful. The cold breakfast selection was not good! A couple of cereals, toast you have to make yourself, you also have to make your own tea just in a cup as no pots were available. There were also a couple of muffins in packets, I couldn’t see anything else, some fruit and croissants would have been nice! It was very hot in the room so we asked for a fan, but they told us they only had one but it wasn’t Pat tested so we couldn’t have it! Our room although very nice has a window right on the pavement so a lot of noise from ppl passing by and traffic, also we felt we couldn’t open the window as anyone passing could have climbed in!
