I’ve already recommended it to a family member who then stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed it too. The breakfast is fantastic!

• Caroline (9/5): Séjour excellent à Londres. - Ce séjour fut fabuleux ! L'hôtel est top, proche du métro. Les chambres sont très bien, le petit-déjeuner excellent et le personnel merveilleux. Nous avons eu le loisir de manger un soir au restaurant de l'hôtel, qui est exquis et abordable. Nous recommandons et nous reviendrons ! :) Une de nos chambre était une chambre 2 lits simples, dans les toits. Elle ne convient pas à de grandes personnes vu que le plafond est en pente et bas.

Lo rifarei sicurame - Ottima accoglienza, personale super gentile, colazione fantastica, pub con prezzi nella media ed una buona cucina. Molto ben servito dai trasporti, metro a cinque minuti a piedi e pullman ad un centinaio di metri. Moquette ovunque.

• TVDL (7/5): Aan te raden en aangenaam verblijf - Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en het ontbijt was lekker en in orde. De kamer was ruim en pluspunt dat er een aparte in-uitgang is om naar de kamers te gaan zodat je niet telkens door de pub moet. Interieur van de kamer was wat versleten en gaf ook geen hygiënische indruk, verder lag de kamer ook aan de straatkant. Er is geen dubbel glas, dus het verkeersgeluid was zeker wel aanwezig doch niet oorverdovend.

My room was exactly what I needed for a 1 night stay, surprisingly quiet despite facing a road. Should stay again.

L’igiene generale (la moquette è sempre difficile da igienizzare).

Struttura accogliente, colazione ottima e abbondante, staff veramente super: tutti i ragazzi sono cortesi, gentili e fanno veramente la differenza! Londra è fantastica, soggiornare qui aumenta la bellezza della vacanza. Ottima la possibilità di cenare in struttura, cucina di qualità a prezzi giusti.
• Damien (7/5): Les scarabées bourdonnent, c'est la folie à London... 🎶🎶 - Le look typique de l'établissement, l'amabilité du personnel, la carte (et la déco) du restaurant et le petit déjeuner 'So British', la proximité du métro et bus, la literie confortable. Les chambres en façade à rue ne sont pas isolées (simple vitrage) et le bruit du trafic routier est assourdissant. Plus calme entre minuit et 5h mais à 6h, le bruit de la route reprend. L'annonce mentionne la présence d'une douche ou baignoire mais après demande par e-mail, il n'y a pas de baignoire en réalité.

• NIGEL (7/5): Cute and cosy rooms above nice pub. - Very cosy large room with high ceilings and comfy bed. Generous breakfast. No espresso machine! Coffee otherwise needs serious review. Road construction was horrific in the area, and the tube station still a walk.

The rooms were simple but spacious and clean.

We booked this trip a while ago, and then my partner had to have surgery. We didn’t want to cancel, so we did this trip barely a month after the surgery. He’s still recovering. I asked if we could have some extra pillows, so elevate his legs. We were provided with a mountain of pillows, and my partner was very comfortable during our stay. When my partner went for breakfast on Saturday, they offered to wrap my breakfast up - as I’d already left for our convention day. They didn’t need to do that at all, I had accepted missing out on breakfast! So thank you so so much for that too. As always, it was a perfect stay. Nothing!

Not having a bath - but we knew that when we booked so not the venues problem.
• Przemysław (5/5): - Klimatyczny pub z pokojami na piętrze, w spokojnej dzielnicy z wygodnym dojazdem do centrum Londynu (metro lub autobus). Obsługa bardzo miła, śniadania bardzo smaczne, wieczorem można wypróbować jednego z miejscowych piw. O ile sam pub jest czysty i ładny, tak cała część hotelowa wymaga natychmiastowo gruntowego remontu! Korytarz i pokoje wyłożone są wykładziną, w wielu miejscach wytartą i strasznie brudną. Łazienka mała, widać zaczątki grzyba, klapa od toalety się rusza. Okna tak nieszczelne, że cały czas mieliśmy wrażenie, że są otwarte. Nogi od foteli sprawiają wrażenie, jakby zaraz miały odpaść. Część korytarzy była niedawno malowana, ale wykonawca chyba porzucił pracę w trakcie, zostawiając taśmy malarskie i wszędobylski zapach farby. Pierwszy raz zdarzył nam się tak niski standard w obiekcie z oceną powyżej 8!

• Barbara (9/5): - Excellent location! After a small walk straight on the Bakerloo Line. A pub where also prople from yhe neighboorhoud are welcome. (Even yhe local choir rehearsing christmassongs:) Very nice and easygoing team! How lovely the pub and restaurant! Food was excellent and everything nicely decorated. There redecorating some parts of the hotel and after that hopefully the price can stay how he is now cause for what you get it's really good. Breakfast included! One of the best stays in London in a long time!
• Menna (6/5): Average room, lovely staff. - Stayed here for a gig at Wembley. Staff were brilliant and location was suitable. Price was fair. Breakfast was tasty. The room was basic, the carpet was dirty throughout though out hall and room and bathroom didn’t feel clean, messy wiring.

• directgb (8/5): - room was very clean, facilities like bathroom sink, shower,TV, all good quality and functioned perfectly. added unexpected bonus of patio door onto a small terrace overlooking the beer garden. As the pub closed at 11, for us there was no issue of stray noise from the garden disturbing us, but may be a consideration for others who like to retire earlier. slight musty smell in the bathroom and on the corridor at top of stairway, but no signs of mould or anything.

The staff were also very pleasant and helpful and did their best to help us. Carpets in the corridors are very dirty. Room carpets also quite stained and in need of a clean. Window wouldn't open which made the room very hot - mentioned to staff member next day, who said it would be sorted. Not the pubs fault, but there was a lot of street noise late on due to lads outside watching cars racing along the road at dangerous speeds. It wasn't the best location for us and was further to travel than we expected.

The staff were friendly and the room had everything you needed. The TV is very small could do with being bigger. There was a party on when we arrived 1-6, which is fine but it would have been nice to know this before we arrived.

• Martin (8/5): Charmantes Pub Hotel - Sehr nette Personal und leckeres Frühstück a la carte im Pub Restaurant. Die Fenster sind alt und undicht. Man muss gegen an heizen. Eine Barriere gegen den Lärm der Straße ist dann nur die Tür zum Bad.

Un pub à l'esprit local avec chambres et non un hôtel... C'est là le charme de l'endroit. Petit-déjeuner super. A la carte, pas de buffet, le chef vous cuisine un petit-déjeuner à l'anglaise, de quoi vous bloquer toute la journée... Le soir, profitez du pub et du restaurant. Il y a un menu, et un plat du jour. Juste, un petit bémol. La salle de bain est très petite... mais on ne vient pas à Londres pour une salle de bain. Et la moquette... c'est très anglais. Si tu n'aimes pas la moquette, ne viens pas en Angleterre... Faut le savoir... Si tu as envie d'un hôtel aseptisé... va dans un endroit banal.
• Lara (8/5): Okay stay for one night - Staff very kind - La cordialità dello staff, sempre molto disponibile. Le camere non sono tutte uguali, alcune sono molto ampie per Londra e confortevoli, altre molto anguste e difficili da raggiungere, con diverse rampe di scale ripide. La moquette che sapeva un po’ di vecchio e di sporco. L’orario della colazione dalle 8 (purtroppo sono dovuta uscire prima per lavoro e quindi non ne ho usufruito pure essendo inclusa nel prezzo).

• Kateřina (9/5): - Ubytování bylo útulné a čisté. Výborná snídaně a jídlo v restauraci. Měli jsme okna do ulice a v noci byl slyšet trochu hluk ze silnice
• Agnese (7/5): Excellent breakfast and very friendly personal, but otherwise I did not recomend - Excellent breakfast and very friendly personal. The opportunity to have a dinner or some drink downstairs the hotel. Furniture is a little bit old, very very hot rooms without options to open a window or reduce a heating. One of our rooms had a ventilator and it was very helpful otherwise it felt like in sauna, but in the other room they were suffering from heating without ventilator. The smell on the corridors was not very good. You have to use a public transport to get to the main attractions and it took about an hour one way.

• Felix (8/5): - Der Service/ das sehr freundliche Personal und das gediegene Ambiente, und das Essen! Das Bett war leider durchgelegen und die Duschkabine ist relativ eng. Achja, ein paar Kleiderbügel wären gut!
• Gabi (8/5): Perfekter Start- und Zielpunkt für aktive Tage in London. - Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, leckeres Essen (englische Klassiker mit modernem Twist), Underground (Kensal Green)in der Nähe Bad mit schimmeligen Fugen (altersbedingt) aber gut geputzt. Überall Teppichböden.
