And they had the audacity to charge me 105rs for some ice as the fridge didn't work . Please don't book this place we checked into another hotel just near and so much better

Want to take money but they don’t want to give bill ! No service etiquette and why these people only want to extract money , for the management team pls we are coming out from far and there is a way to treat your customers ! My worst experience!! • Hriday (2/5): - Absolutely worthless for every penny. To start with the Hotel is not well coordinated , the reception staff AM and PM are totally helpless. They do not liaise with the booking partner and then you as customers face the trouble. Pay for the breakfast at the booking page and they’ll say that the breakfast is not there in the reservation and ask you to pay for it. Be ready to get going two times, to and fro from the restro to the reception. The breakfast is pathetic. Croissant’s are cold, limited options, they do not have even ice , needless to say it is not a hotel to go for . The rooms are very narrow, the washroom has leakage, exhaust of the washrooms doesn't work. For requesting any housing keeping service i had to call 6 times for any service. The hotel has worst food, the complimentary breakfast given by the hotel has a very lesser variety of cuisines, even a road side small chai wala has more variety of snacks to offer with tea than this so called 4 star hotel. Even after escalating the issue to hotel management there response was so casual like if they already aware about the problem and they don't want to take any action on it. All they care is about asking for money time to time and providing no services in return. DONOT LOOK TO STAY HERE, TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. No pancakes, nuggets are cold and the service of the restaurant staff is also 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎not coming back again. SPOILING CHANDIGARH’s image.

We loved it. 5star rating from the UK. - We travelled on a business/vacation trip to India, Chandigarh from the UK and this hotel was recommended to us. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Place is absolutely clean and the food is delicious. They offer all night service although limited items after 11pm. Nevertheless the food is absolutely delicious. I had there garlic tandoori king prawns. They were awesome! 🔥🔥🔥 definitely will be our choice of stay whenever we travel back to Chandigarh. Loved it. Amazing experience after having travelled to India after 17 years.

• AnandDNanavati (6/5): Small room. Good breakfast. Staff well trained - Small room. Good breakfast. Ambience of breakfast restaurant was ok due to direct sunlight on some tables. Blinds required. Mini fridge did not have deep freeze so used the hotel kitchen fridge to store my icepacks. Any door open or shut in corridor or anyone talking in corridor it was heard clearly in rooms. If anyone checkin late then it was noisy inside rooms. (Have given less stars because of this otherwise all other things manageable as staff is well trained) Staff well trained whole hotel.
• Gauravkadam (8/5): Good business hotel - I stayed in Altius hotel for 1 night. The check-in was fast. The room was on the smaller side with a working desk. There was a pillar right in the middle of the room (a little annoying). The food was tasty but a little costly. The bed was comfortable and I had a good sleep. Room cleanliness can be better. Breakfast was limited but the taste was good. The staff was polite and helpful. Overall a good stay.
• Ayush (2/5): - There are two party halls in this porperty, one on second and one on top floor. I stayed there for 3 nights and all nights they played loud music. They have completely non-soundproof walls. You can hear noises from all walls and upper floor as well. I wouldn't recommend this property if you want to have a peaceful sleep.

The room, though being small as per expectations, was well cleaned and comfortable. The hotel's terrace and lawn are really beautiful. You can spend a good and peaceful time here. The staff greeted us with welcome drinks. They are really mannered. A special thanks to the GM, Mr. Gursharan, for his kind gesture. It was indeed a pleasure to get to know you. The problems that we faced :- 1) The Kettle in the room was not working.And they didn't have an extra Kettle to replace it.how do we drink water without boiling ? 2) The room has a very stale smell coming from the linens as well as the beds. 3)the water in the bathing area does not seep through the drain and the area is full of water and running out of the cabin .Which makes the small bathroom even more shabby. On telling this , the staff said u need yo press the drain with ur feet so that the water seeps in..who would ever do this in a bathroom. 4) the walls have dirt marks and very poor maintenance of the furniture.The polish is worn out and gives the room such an ugly look. 5) unsatisfied with the promptness in service..we had to wait for a very long time to fetch water. You call yourselves a four star hotel but your property does not do justice to it. You have charged us a lot more than what you have provided. We are highly unsatisfied with our stay. • Gosain312 (8/5): Nice and comfortable stay. - Being a regular visitor for the Altius hotel , have always loved their hospitality. First time I visited them for the banquet book for my marriage but couldn't tried them out for that but booked rooms for 20 guests and after that it became a regular affairs to book it when ever any friend or family come to Chandigarh to visit us. And it's all due to the state of art service , ambiance and hospitality. They had done a wonderful work during Covid by supplying food to the patients home. When my whole family was down with Covid Altius pitched in a right time ,it was a big relief that I don't have to bother about food as no help can come to prepare it in the home and could take care of the recovering family members. A big thanks to the team. Keep up the good spirit.

• John (6/5): Maybe it's East vs West - Maybe my expectations were to high for the price ($60.00 p/n). Clean and roomy. Nice bath, quiet location, excellent food and restaurant service very good. Internet which I needed (no Indian SIM Card) was spotty at best. Everytime it worked I had to either sit in the lobby and have desk clerk enter password for me or in room had to call front desk and they would send someone up to put it in for me. Whenever phone went into sleep mode it kicked out the password and they had to resend someone to enter it again. Not good Laundry took 3 phone calls for p/u in rm. When they got it it took over 2 1/2 days to get it back and only after 3 phone calls and some threatening to have it put in my rm. Rm services say Doctor can visit. After asking for that I was told I would have to visit Hospital to get service. Only after I reminded of them of the advertised service did they get a very efficient Doc to me from a private hospital. A 2000 (rup) service. Restaurant service & food was great for lunch and dinner. Breakfast buffet not up to that standard. Place works if you have a car. Taxi, or Uber, to other areas easy. There are no restaurants or shops in the immed area I was only asked on the 3rd day of my stay if I needed room service.

• Esteban (4/5): Disgusting low quality hotel - Dont believe the pictures... It is a low quality hotel. The room had damaged floor sections and mold on the walls. There were no towels, the TV control failed and much of the decoration was dirty. Despite the problems, we asked for an upgrade and they charged us more. It was more expensive than a luxury hotel like the JW and the Hyatt. We will not go back to that hotel ...
• jayanti (6/5): - They have a pub right above the hotel rooms and every Wednesday and Friday they play mind numbing music till 2.30 in the night. It was a business trip and I had a long day and was looking forward to a peaceful night of sleep. but they kept on playing this really loud music till 2.30. When I asked the front desk they said they cannot do anything since it will be up till 2.30. Really disappointing.

• Graham (8/5): Functional, practical hotel in a location I needed - Having read many reviews of this hotel, I could have been forgiven for wondering whether this was a booking I might regret. However, nothing could be further from the truth. The staff were friendly, courteous and efficient and my booking and check-in and out arrangements went fine. The room was clean, tidy and well appointed for its price bracket, as were the grounds and other parts of the hotel I saw. There are some less than positive reviews of this hotel on the site, but I could not identify with any aspect of them. I had booked another hotel in the vicinity but t could not accommodate me for all the nights I needed, so this was a last minute addition for a couple of nights top-up. Following my stay I can state quite freely that based on my own experience it would have suited my needs very well for the whole period of my stay in Chandigarh, and I can only assume that either the hotel has made some drastic changes since some of the less pleasing reviews were posted, or that others' expectations are unreasonably high. I would certainly have no reservations about staying at this establishment again in the future, if the experience of my past visit is matched. I cannot comment on the food or catering, but it seemed to be a popular venue.
• Sumit (8/5): Nice hotel in the budget - It was good to stay at this hotel. I was looking for a good place to crash for one night and this hotel provided that. It had good food. Room was good. Washrooms were a bit small but were still manageable. My overall experience was good. They lacked IT people, So if your free Wifi is not working, you shouldn't expect it to be working soon.
