Guest Reviews
- Mika (3/5): Quite unpleasant. - The wording on the website isnt very clear especially, given the hot tub is only in one room, and the brochures they have in the room itself show a much bigger hot tub than what is available. There was also crumbs in the drawers, and the space under the tv clearly hadn't been cleaned for months. The tv is very small, and the bed is hard.
- Molly (9/5): It was perfect for my needs - I had a real breakfast elsewhere The refrigerator didn't work and there was an ironing board but no iron

- Jaffy (8/5): - Close to town. Serves light breakfast. The trash can was not emptied but hopefully just an oversight.
- Rachel (10/5): -
- Genevieve (10/5): -
- JUDY (4/5): Not what I was expecting. - The mattress was awful. Most important item in a hotel is the mattress.... it was so bad I went to my car and brought up my camping mattress and slept on the floor!! Carpets are very dirty. Could just be that particular room. It needs updating. On the positive side: bathroom was clean and spacious. TV was satellite, so great channels. No elevator to upstairs rooms, FYI. Rate was good but a miserable night's sleep on that mattress is not worth the savings. See above comments

- Pegi (8/5): Friendly staff. Room had all amenities. - Location Bed
- Jan (8/5): - Friendly and helpful staff.
Very spacious room.
Very clean. The lighting by the bed wasn't adequate.
The comforter was quite light.

- Steve (10/5): - Cheap and comfortable.

- Rachel (10/5): - I loved the family suite I stayed in. HUGE room with two private bedrooms, a closet, full kitchen with any dishes you could ever need, large fridge, dining table and four chairs, two very comfortable couches and a TV in the living room area. There was even a closet right at the front door with hangers inside. It's basically a full apartment. So clean and comfortable, very antique sort of feel to it. Absolutely beautiful. And the price was amazing for how big the room was, I absolutely plan to stay here again. There was no dish soap in the room so I had to buy some, but other than this it was absolutely perfect.

- Wayne (10/5): -
- DAndra (5/5): It was fine but not good and I wouldn’t ever choose it again. - In town. Close to shops but not downtown. Ants in the bathroom. Broken toilet seat. Very low & springy beds. Missing lightbulbs and mix of warm & bright in same locations that had some bulbs.
- Steve (10/5): - Quiet, clean, and affordable. Breakfast bar in morning could use some improvement.
- Jonathan (1/5): AnaCockroach Inn,..seriously, gross place. Cockroaches are filthy and disgustingl to on - The front desk young man was very polite I honestly did not like the fact that there were cockroaches in room 201. Judging by the smell of the room, the bug spray and the roach traps, this is nothing new for this location. If you happen to like cockroaches, you'll have no problem at this establishment, but if you're anything like me, you will be extremely disappointed. And if you booked your room through booking.com, you will not only be disappointed for lack of refunds. You will be angry and disgusted.

- Abreu (9/5): We would stay there again and would recommend it to others. - We really liked the comfort of the bed, the couch and the room in general. It was an attractive and clean facility. We would have liked a warmer blanket on the bed or an extra blanket in the room. There was a fixture on the wall in the bathroom that made a constant fast clicking sound. It wasn't loud and didn't keep us awake.

- Phillips (10/5): The best place to stay in Anacortes - Everything, especially the staff. The open windows for fresh air, beautiful ambience I liked everything

- Phillips (10/5): Lovely place - This truly is the most wonderful place. A very home like feeling, with all the amenities. Nothing wrong, wonderful staff.
- Robert (10/5): Great experience & 👍 place to rest up for that next busy wk of Buisness schedule deadlines - Excellent Customer service &Support"
The staff really cares & helps out with anything possible to make it a great experience 👍 😀 No complaints"
Everything is fine and great experience ✨️:)
- Phillips (10/5): - Everything Nothing wrong
- Phillips (10/5): - The staff. Wonderful cheerful, and accommodating
- Keitges (8/5): -
- Richard (2/5): -
- Christina (10/5): - The room was so nice and the windows could open and close, which was a nice touch
- Richard (3/5): Price is good clean room but no hot water couldn't take a shower. - THERE WAS NO HOT WATER AT ALL.
- Kerrie (8/5): Clean comfortable and quiet but the lack of ice is ridiculous - This property is always clean and quiet. There is no maid service unless you ask for it, and the ice machine DID NOT WORK AT ALL
- Aubrey (4/5): Disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend. - The location. We stayed 7 nights and not once did they come and clean our room. We even had the “clean my room” tag on the door. On day 3 we had to go to the front desk and exchange our towels for clean ones, get another roll of toilet paper, and box of tissues. We advised the girl at the front desk that the cleaning lady didn’t come to clean. I thought by mentioning that, our room would be cleaned next day. It was not, nor was any other day cleaned. Very disappointing.
- Paul (7/5): -
- Rachel (9/5): - The only issue we had, was that breakfast was disappointing. No waffles (though there was syrup) and no fresh fruit.
- Donna (10/5): If we are ever doing the same trip, we will stay here again! - The place itself is adorable! The room did not fell like a “hotel” room at all. It felt like a cute studio apartment. Very homey! The bed wasn’t as comfortable. Could use a new mattress—one without coils! 🙃
- Anita (9/5): Overall, it was a very comfortable and stress-free stay. - This is a clean room with a home-like feel and a very comfortable bed. A private kitchen is provided, including a coffee maker, which my husband really appreciated. I was glad to start the day with milk. A light breakfast was provided. Since we stayed several days, it was good to have the laundry facility available and fresh supplies when requested. We always had convenient parking in the front, but there is also plenty behind the building. The staff was helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable about the community. When they were not at the desk, they were still reachable. It would help to have a few cooking utensils in the kitchen. I didn't notice the absence of an egg turner until the egg was in the pan. I made do with a serving spoon. Also, the breakfast choices and quantities could be increased.
- Kathleen (8/5): Clean establishment and friendly staff. Location was excellent for Anacortes. - Room was clean. Check in and check out was easy. Mattress was older and a little hard.
- Carla (7/5): Stayed one night before catching the the ferry to the San Juan Islands. Met our needs & was reasonably priced & - Parking was close. Coffee pot & frig in the room was a plus. There were only wood chairs in the room. An ironing board was provided but, no iron was provided. Had 2 nightstand & the drawer in the nightstand was broken.
- julia (4/5): Disappointing for the cost of the room - not much - other than parking adjacent to the building not clean, most of the furniture was very outdated, tub was under repair - including blue painters tape!
- J L (8/5): -
- James (9/5): - Clean rooms with limited cooking available. Noise transmitted from adjacent room but not a problem for sleeping.
- Will & Antoinette (8/5): We'll be back - Love this place, stayed here many times. It is clean, comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Close to everything I need. We are early risers. Wish coffe was available at 6AM rather that 7:30. Wish it had more choices on breakfast.
- Vincent (8/5): -
- Holmes (8/5): -
- Bruce (10/5): -
- Vern (6/5): - Convenient
Quiet Bed was uncomfortable
Toilet seat very loose
Tv remote broken
Couch needs replacing
- Nancy (5/5): it was adequate for our need - i have stayed there in the past. i felt this time that the facility has detereiorated.
- Yoselin Anahy (1/5): -
- Melanie (5/5): - It has a kitchen and fireplace in room and room is quite spacious Nothing in my room worked except the fireplace and fan . Tv not working . Clock not working , i did not use the kitchen , heater in bathroom not working, hot water barely worked. I work nights at hospital so didn’t vet back from work till 8 am wanted to-take a nap and shower i went over 11 by 8 min seeing the shower wouldn’t warm up they knocked 4 separate occasions . There is one washer no dryer on site . Smoke detector has bag over it, furniture is dirty and dated , ice machine is broken , all security cameras are broken or not on. I wasn’t there long enough to look around so not sure what else , oh and they put 2 shampoo no conditioner. I e worked hotels this place should actually be shutdown or upgraded.
- Артём (6/5): -
- Christine (7/5): - a nice room cute No dish soap, no paper towels, and had to wait for more towels
- Kennedy (8/5): Charming and clean. - It is a charming older hotel, nice and clean and comfortable. No secure parking.
- Renee (9/5): Convienant location but does need to be updated 😀 - Location was very good and it was clean . The mattress was not very comfortable, it was at the point of needing to be replaced as it sagged in the middle ☹️ and it only had a night stand on one side of the bed—when both my husband and I both use Cpap machines we needed a place to put them on both sides 😀
- Wills (5/5): Simple motel for short stays - Room, bed, bath, tv Continental breakfast could’ve been more nutritious and fruitful. Cheap orange drink and cheap pastries weren’t appealing at all.
- Leah (8/5): - Clean, safe and comfortable. It's basic but if you're not hanging out in the rooms it's just fine.
- Garrett (5/5): I think it just needs a facelift/remodel and regular deep cleans and the place would be much better. - The host was very friendly and the A/C worked great The whole hotel smelled insanely strong of curry and spices and this transferred into all of the rooms. The room was also very dirty and visibly covered in a layer of dust.
- robert (7/5): -
- Alberto (2/5): - No room available
I want my money back right now
- Debra (10/5): - Unique old hotel. Clean. Tub no shower.
- Evelyn (6/5): - Parking was good. It was clean but when I arrived no one was there to open the door to check in. The number on the door didn't answer and to call number on reservation for the hotel. Then the girl answered the door with no shoes on and not very friendly. Room was clean, very dated and recliner was broke.
- Seth (8/5): - Staff was great. The place was very dated and the free breakfast was extremely limited.
- ANDREW (10/5): - 👍👍👍 👍👍👍
- Eric (10/5): - The Anaco Bay Inn was cozy and comfortable. The breakfast could be better.
- Greg (7/5): -
- Sebastian (5/5): We will not be back. - Place was safe and clean. Staff was courteous. Internet was good and so was the TV. Shower pressure was ok, bagels were yummy, albeit not always available. Restroom on the first floor was very handy. Refrigerator was broken and no one had said a word until its door collapsed on us. Parking was tricky, bottom drawer of dresser was unusable and had been "fixed" by someone nailing it close, and then letting the nails come loose. Pillows were terribly flat and unsupportive. The kitchen was "stocked" with one fork, two spoons and three knives, two bowls, two plates and two bigger plates, and an ancient microwave. All this for a family of four. No dish rack. The bathroom had two bath towels for four people and when we asked for more towels, the extra towels had holes in them. Ice machine took forever in working, and the replacement fridge had a tiny freezer that could not do much. The coffee was at least a day old on the first morning of breakfast, and there was hardly anything else to choose from. The deadbolt to our room did not turn all the way. The handle to the dryer's lint trap broke off, and the walls of the laundry room had LARGE-print expletives written on them. The stopper to the tub did not work properly and came off in my daughter's hand. The stopper to the bathroom sink's drain also worked poorly. Lastly, one of the plastic covers for the ice machine was not safely fastened to the machine and fell off and hit me on the head.
- Karla (3/5): Although I have stayed at this hotel in past years, I will never stay there again nor will I recommend it. - Good location. And the one staff member I interacted with over the phone was pleasant and accommodated my last minute booking and late check in. My room was not clean. The bedding did not look clean: old pilled sheets with small hairs and even part of a twig between the sheets. The carpet did not look vaccuumed. Furnishings were old and tired and didn’t look clean. Heater did not work consistently.
- Audra (10/5): - Our room was cozy, quiet and comfortable.
Everything was clean and the staff werefriebdly and helpful.
- Augustus (10/5): - Reasonable rates, convenient.
- Tatiana (8/5): - Very nice location in Anacortes. The room was well equipped and spacious. Some items need to be replaced or fixed, like the cold water facet was not working and the fridge was leaking but not bad. Could use extra blanket as it gets cold overnight. Overall, a good stay.
- peggy (6/5): -
- Myrna (10/5): - Everything was excellent room was very large very well accommodated it's a little dirty here and there but no big deal I would stay there again
- WorldCycleWays (8/5): WorldCycleWays in Anacortes - This place has spacious rooms and the family that owns the hotel will try to accommodate your needs. Rooms 201 has a kitchen.
- Nancy (8/5): - I really like the Inn. My only complaint is that the toilets are way to low for a handicapped person and there are no safety bars anywhere in the bathroom either.
- Gail (4/5): - Hotel needs refurbishing desperately! Beds provided no support at all. Holes and tears in the sofa. Just very old and tired!
- svetlana (8/5): Nice location in Anacortes - Good location, reasonable price.
Coffee and breakfast are served at 7.30a, which is kind of late, if you are a morning person or have plans for for trips/hiking in early morning. One of the beds was uneven and shaky and was not comfortable to sleep in.
- Geoffrey (8/5): -
- Curleen (7/5): -
- Holmes (8/5): It was alright, but not a luxury hotel. - Location Breakfast gone before scheduled time
- Del (2/5): - This property is extremely outdated and in very poor maintenance. I would not recommend this. unless the property gets. a renovation. location is okay. but the rooms are in great need of maintenance.
- Tim (2/5): - The place wasn’t as advertised. Very outdated and poorly maintained. TV remote didn’t work, beds were 1980s stock with bumps and low spot. Smelled musty and moldy. Stains on carpet and sticky floor gave me the creeps. Several outlets didn’t work and the scum in the grout joints was disgusting. Advertised breakfast did not exist. Barely enough to get by single ply toilet paper. Without a doubt the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I can go on but you get the picture.
- Rogers (6/5): -
- Keith (2/5): There are better places to stay in this vicinity. - The location was convenient. This property was dumpy and quite dated. My “single delux” room had a kitchenette, a well-worn sofa, small kitchen table, saggy bed, and a tiny flat screen TV. I had booked two nights and, after a look, wanted to cancel the second night. I was informed that was not possible because there was a 72 cancellation policy and my fee could not be refunded. Needless to say, I will never stay here again. Bad choice!
- Sparaci (3/5): Hotel in need of refurbishing - The hotel may have been really nice in the nineties, but it is not well kept. Staff was very kind and check in was extremely easy, but possibly these were the only positive things. The bathroom was sufficiently clear, but the room wasn't: the carpets are old and appear mouldy, the sheets had many old spots and the room also contained a very old and dirty sofa which should have been removed (we avoided sitting on it and/or using it in any way). Overall the hotel needs some urgent refurbishing and the photos must have been taken some time ago. The area is ok, but it is far from the centre. Overall I would not choose this structure again. The hotel needs some serious mantainance.
- Lars (5/5): They call themselves British style, but don’t be fooled - Great location Not clean, hardly never anybody in the reception (or rather glass cage). Breakfast was terrible.
- Tom (8/5): - Clean, refreshed older hotel. Overall good experience.
- Dawn (5/5): I didn’t like this place and I would not recommend it. - The location was good. It’s in town and not far from restaurants and a grocery store is nearby. It’s dated. Things didn’t work like the refrigerator. The bath tub fixture was wobly, and hot water shouldn’t be hard to find. The beds were uncomfortable.
- jimmie (7/5): It was close to where I was going charter fishing - I did not have breakfast there as I had to leave early Nothing
- Mike (8/5): Couple's trip -
the person at the desk wasn't the best and was sloppy looking. And the lobby didn't smell good.
- Bruce (8/5): - The area and room were great but the breakfast was sorly lacking
