• Idan (9/5): - ריזורט מטופח ונקי, קיבלנו חדר גדול מאוד כ-120 מטר בקומה גבוהה עם נוף לים. ארוחת בוקר סך הכל טובה מאוד, אחלה ג'ימבורי לילדים (אהבתי שמודדים חום לכל ילד שנכנס). יש עוד כל מני מתקנים בתחומי המלון כמו חץ וקשת, מגרש טניס, כדורסל. יש אפשרות לנסוע באופניים של המקום באי, ללא תוספת תשלום. יש סניף סבן אילבן במלון. צוות המלון אנשים נעימים ושירותיים, סך הכל נהנינו מאוד. המחיר ביחס לתמורה היה גבוה מאוד. המקום דיי מבודד, אין גישה ברגל לחוף הים (יש באגי של המלון שמסיע לחוף בנסיעה קצרה).

My family arrived in Phuket and were dissatisfied with the initial resort we booked. We found Anantara Vacation Club through TikTok reviews and we were not disappointed. We stayed in 2 bedroom villa with its own pool and it was gorgeous clean luxurious and all the necessary amenities. The restaurant had great food. Poolside service was top notch and there is nothing the hadn’t thought of. Went to a spa at the Anantara Resort next door and even more blown away. Only disappointment was that we couldn’t access those facilities, but it really didn’t matter.

• suanz2026 (8/5): Our first luxury trip with a little one :) - We stayed in their 2-bedroom apartment. We really liked the fully equipped kitchen — all the utensils looked brand new. It was very convenient to walk to 7-Eleven to buy food and heat it up in the microwave in our room. They also have a washing machine and dryer, with free detergent provided, so we could easily wash our clothes — especially after coming back from the beach when we were covered in sand. The hotel do offer buggy to go to the beach, just need to order via WhatsApp / Line / Wechat, very convenient. The apartment has 1 king-size bed and 2 single beds. The rooms are cosy, with 2 large bathrooms, and one of them has a bathtub. There were also plenty of sealed drinking water bottles in the room. From the balcony, we could look down at the swimming pool, and further out you can see the beach and even the sunset. The kids’ room is small, but the slide is fun. The staff are super friendly too. However, it’s a bit of a pity that only teenagers can access the playroom with the PS station and arcade games — adults should be allowed too :( There are also activities like bicycles, pickleball, basketball, badminton, archery (kid-friendly, so not very exciting for adults haha), and ping pong. We just played for a while. The kids’ pool is very fun — even we as parents enjoyed it a lot. The adult pool is a bit deep for me (I’m 160 cm), but it’s great if you can swim. Breakfast had a huge variety: Thai style, Western options, Thai porridge, noodles (a bit bland), a kids’ corner, dessert bar, lots of fruits, and many drinks. Overall, it was an awesome breakfast.

Super spacious and felt like a proper home. It had everything we needed too, like a washing machine, dryer, and a full kitchen, which made things really convenient. The private pool was definitely a highlight. We also tried the seafood buffet and it was sooo good. Fresh seafood, lots of choices, and everything was really tasty—definitely worth it. Breakfast was also excellent. Plenty of variety and everything was well done, so it’s easy to find something you like. Big shoutout to the staff as well—they were all super kind, friendly, and helpful the whole time. Service was really on point. Would 100% stay here again.

• DickZe (4/5): Luxury drowned in noise - The Anantara Vacation Club consists of a large number of pool villas which all have their own pool and a hotel with a common pool, restaurant and bar. The location is in the north of Phuket, quite far from any entertainment area. We went through an invitation to stay three nights at a significant discount, for which we would join a presentation about a timesharing package. Our villa was on the street adjacent to the common pool. The villa is large and beautiful with all the amenities you can think of. The pool is large enough to really swim, 1.20m deep and the water has a pleasant temperature. There is a terrace outside the unit with sunbeds and a table with chairs. Already the first night the expected relaxing quiet was disturbed by noise and music coming from the pool area. Breakfast in the restaurant is very busy, loud and noisy. However, the buffet has an enormous choice, something there for everyone. The restaurant has a nice menu with reasonable prices but is also a bit loud. The presentation for the club timesharing was done in a kind of cubicle. There were different packages and each was clearly presented. However, to decide in a few hours about an investment of $85k over 30 years is not something I can easily do now with the orange moron creating chaos around the world. The last day, a Friday, there was a live DJ at the pool. It was clear that he was alive, since the pounding noise made it unbearable to relax on our own terrace. We were obliged to leave our luxurious dwelling and find a more pleasant environment. When he had finished it was still noisy from the pool area. The DJ will be there every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It seems clear that combining luxury villas for a quiet and relaxed stay is not compatible with a big hotel and noisy entertainment. We will leave it at a one-time experience.

• ashahs2022 (10/5): First Vacation of 2026! - Our family's first vacation for the year 2026, and Anantara vacation Club Mai Khao Phuket was definitely the best choice. We were welcomed and made to feel at home at this resort. Our kids loved the ocean themed room and our villa was very spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. The beds were so comfy and we feel very relaxed. The kids club is another big advantage. The staff really get to know our kids and play with them and entertain them at the kids club. It is more than watching over them, it is really a fun filled and learning club for our kids. They enjoyed all the activities especially the indoor rock climbing, cooking making, cupcake decorating and soft archery and many more. A big shout out to Gina, Deena, oum, pam, and the rest of the team for making our girls so happy each time they enter the kids club. The yoga lesson for adults is something we enjoy as well as the dart tournament and the pickleball tournament. Each activity is curated to energize as well as to relax our mind and body. Bug thanks to Albas, Brett and Kee for their coaching and guidance with these activities. The food was so yummy in Taurus as usual. Big generous spread of buffet breakfast to the teatime and the international buffet we enjoyed, the live music-it was such a chill vibe for us to kickstart the new year. We can't wait to be back and soak up the sun, be in the sand and enjoy the beach and feel back at home at this resort again!!

We booked a two-room apartment, which was very spacious for our family of four and our two moms. The décor and ambience of the whole resort were beautiful — we couldn’t even tell that the buildings were 15 years old as everything looked almost new. The staff were friendly and could communicate well in English, which made everything even more convenient for us. There were plenty of activities for everyone. Our boys especially enjoyed the cookie-decorating activity at the kids’ club, along with the other toys available. The pool was the highlight for all of us. • tonytD1963MM (10/5): The greatest hospitality experience in Phuket Thailand Anantara Resort hotel - The scenery and the atmosphere is very clean and hygienic and beautiful. The bathroom cleanliness is very bright and hygienic and clean. They provide buggy services for people to travel all around the area which is very convenient to the convenience stores Starbucks and the pharmacy. It was more better to use the buggy services to travel across the area around the hotel for foster mobility rather than just riding the bicycle. Also the buggy services is free as well. The buggy service hasn't changed how you explored the area. The nearby spots and convenience stores are all packed together so you don't have to travel all around the area to get what you want as well as by what you want. The things that I needed to find is close by as the pharmacy provides mosquito repellents and the convenience stores provide snacks and extra meals. Also the nearby restaurants also provide lots of good cuisine and delicious food. All the restaurants around the area provides good food as well as cheap prices, but the downside is that you need to carry insert repellents as well as mosquito repellents. The mosquitoes affected my enjoyable time to eat my food and silence as the flies always hover around the food which is very annoying. To deal with the mosquitoes while enjoying your meals outside you always have to have inset repellents or a fan to blow them away. The beach was a good place to relax as well as look at the waves and feel the sand under your feet as well as a cool water. The favorite moments relaxing on the beaches when I watch the waves come across my feet as well as a cool water recedes back to the Sea while my feet dig into the sand. My enjoyable time by the water is feeling the waves flowing across my body as well as the sand drifting away from my feet. The beach wasn't crowded and it did feel peaceful when I visited, but the weather was still cloudy. It felt the humidity was very high as there's no sun much. The humidity made my skin feel sticky and the Sun didn't have much change though. There's not much how the weather affects me while feeling comfortable during my stay. Mostly the hotel premises always felt comfortable as it's always clean and tidy and not many difficult passages to pass through. Just easy to get around the premises for the restaurants the yoga area the rock climbing and the pool area. I haven't tried the rock climbing and yoga yet. Rock climbing would be the activity I wanted to try. The good was that the AC is easy to control, air was clean, the fans were easy. But the bad thing was that the buttons at the front was difficult to know which is on and off, or which is used to operate the front door. The staff were all friendly and always provides all the help you need. But they may need to improve their English understanding, but overall they provide the best services and great hospitality experience for the needs and wants of the customers. They are always moments when the stuff goes out of their way to help the customers needs but as well as explain how far they can't go since they are lots of customers to provide services. What made me try the rock climbing activity would be that it also helps train your grip as well as your balance and various situations where you need to protect yourself from falling down. Overall, this has been a great hospitality experience in Thailand Phuket. Good for people to relax the nerves relieve stress. But when planning to go here you have to time the weather of when to come as it was raining constantly. That it was still fun while it was raining you could also play in the pool and the beach.

• Sightsee33329399047 (10/5): Must visit in Phuket - The villas we’re absolutely incredible. 2 bedrooms a kitchen, good sized living room and a beautiful pool in the villa. There was a lot to do there. They had a public pool, with a singer on new years eve. Bathrooms were clean with kids and adults clubs in the afternoon. Breakfast was amazing, not only the food but because you can order to your room or even a floating breakfast. Great place and such a beautiful place in Phuket. One complain is that there were too many mosquitos. Probably cuz it is a resorted place Otherwise 11/10 place

The villa was beautiful, spacious and well designed and fully equipped. The villa is isolated but at the same time easily assessable to the main building - lobby, restaurants, yoga centre, swimming pool and gym. The staff are truly the main foundation for the resort’s success story - they are so so eager to assist & serve ! Special shout out to Chef Nooi who prepared our special vegetarian Jain meals. We highly recommend this amazing resort 👍🏻
• Flyingscotsman74 (10/5): Lovely stay but some confusion - We’ve been members for nearly 14? Years now . It’s a lovely place to stay . They tend to separate families from couples but the family pool is great . Staff are really lovely . We always get a few messages about attending a meeting which we don’t do ( sorry ) . Some nice food and drink choices outside the resort . One thing that confused us . A third entity has appeared anantara villas and they seem to have taken space previously used by the VC . It’s not that clear what pool etc you’re meant to use . I think vc are restricted to one pool and AV the other but I couldn’t be sure . The pool owned by AV is a lot nicer and quieter . We are a couple who weren’t sore about joining AVC years ago but are happy we did .

Would love to stay again and definitely recommend. Breakfast was delicious and so much variety. The location is quite a long way from attractions but we just used a Grab to travel and it was relatively inexpensive.

The children’s pool has several slides and there is a kids’ club, making it perfect for playing with children. There is also a dedicated kids’ menu, which makes mealtime easy for little ones.

• glennism628 (8/5): Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao - definitely recommend to stay here and will come again! - Location a little bit isolated for anyone wanting local activities or shopping but for those wanting peace and quiet away from city traffic and crowds of people or in the older age group it is ideal. The property is nicely laid out and well maintained. Pool Villa met expectations being spacious, well appointed, with adequate facilities and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly, meeting your requirements and making for a happy atmosphere throughout. Housekeeping staff very meticulous about cleanliness. There are local restaurants, the Turtle Village and Mai Khao Plaza within walking distance or there is a free buggy service if you prefer. The beach is close by with local stalls for food, merchandise and massage. There are shuttles available for further away places like the Phuket Central Plaza should you wish to go there. About 7 years ago we stayed at the adjoining Anantara Villas property and were very happy there too. Today it still looks as lovely as it did then and the staff there are great too. At both properties staff remember your name and Villa number as do the buggy drivers as well. Most impressive!
