Highly recommended! - The hotel is in great location however, the most amazing part of this hotel are the staff from the front desk, concierge, dining room, housekeeping, they were all very polite, friendly, helpful and so accommodating. The honesty of the housekeeping team has to commended since they were able to find my Hermes’ watch and immediately informed me. Big thanks to Jad and Pierre at the front desk Nothing

- Dr. Abdulla Rashid (10/5): شكراً للجميع . - اولاً : موظف الرسبشن مستر . جاد .. كان استقباله ممتاز جداً وتعامله راقي وذوقه عالي ويدل على حسن تربيته واخلاقه وادبه ، كما يدل على تدريبه الممتاز . ثانياً : الموظفين الذين تعاملت معهم محترمين وخلوقين بشكل عام وابتسامتهم مميزه . ثالثاً : افطار المطعم متنوع وجميل وموظفين المطعم محترمين ومتعاونين . اتصور ان التنظيف في الغرف والحمامات وتوفير حاجيات الحمام مثل الشامبو والشاور جل يحتاج الى مراجعه وذلك لعدم اهتمام موظفين الهاوس كيبنج من ذلك ، فمرات عديده لا يتم تغير شرشف السرير منهم الى بعد ان اتصل بالرسبشن لأبلغهم بذلك .

I want to give a special shout-out to the young, well-spoken gentleman at the front desk; although I unfortunately missed his name, he is a true professional and clearly management material. It was honestly one of the best reception experiences I’ve ever had. Beyond the service, the location is unbeatable. It is an amazing spot—very easy to walk to from the train station, and you are surrounded by excellent restaurants and all the major attractions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for seamless service and perfect accessibility!

From the check in with Carolina,to the breakfast guy and the check out , everything was smooth and professional. Staff also speak many languages to help to accommodate guests tourists request. The room is spotlessy clean with huge bed and lovely bath-tub and amazing view of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was also good and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly reccommend .

- Diviva (8/5): Lovely Suite in an Heritage Hotel with Warm Services - Service is nothing short of impeccable, with the staff we met being warm and welcoming. Prior to our arrival, we received an email from the hotel offering to pick us up from the railway station. A hotel staff member called us to confirm our arrival timing and was present at the train station waiting for us before our arrival time. The reception staff, the same guy who picked us up from the train station, processed our check-in quickly and showed us to our room. He also gave us a detailed brief on the usage of the sauna and breakfast timings. During breakfast, the staff at Brasserie St. Georges welcomed us with a smile every morning and cleared our table as soon as they spotted that the plates were empty. We visited the reception to ask about our defective bathtub. The staff took the time to explain the situation with the bathtub and offered to change our suite, which we declined. At check-out, the staff, upon knowing that we would return later in the afternoon, offered to store our luggage and send us to the train station. In the evening, the staff took care of our luggage and also brought us to the train station. We stayed in the Royal Suite, the only suite category room, where the hotel has several configurations of this 50㎡ suite. The heritage of the Royal Suite can be witnessed from the entryway. The entryway in the Royal Suite at Hotel Royal St Georges is a short corridor in the suite that links the main entrance to the living room of the suite. I found the three hooks fitted in here, next to the entrance to the suite, very convenient for us to hang our outer coats before entering the room. Mounted on the wall of the entryway is a mirror that allows us to do a final appearance check before heading out. The entrance to the only bathroom in the Royal Suite is situated in the entryway, opposite the mirror. The bathroom predominantly uses blue colour, seen in the floor tiles and the furnishings such as the toilet, the bidet and the sink. Right next to the entrance of the bathroom stood the walk-in shower. Fitted with both a rain shower and a regular shower head, the space afforded by the walk-in shower felt a little tight. The glass screen doors also felt a tad flimsy. A large, deep-seated bathtub sits across the walk-in shower. To our dismay, we subsequently found out that this tub is currently used as an antique display piece. We were informed by the hotel staff that the hotel was not able to find the spare parts to fix the non-flowing tap, and owing to a strict Swiss law, the hotel was not able to remove or replace the bathtub. A European bidet with a blue gryphon carved onto the base is found next to the bathtub. Opposite the bidet and next to the walk-in shower, positioned the (literally) porcelain throne. Like the bidet, the toilet is also engraved with a gryphon painted in blue at its base. At the end of the bathroom, after the toilet, is a large sink that also has the head of a gryphon carved onto the base of the sink. The sink is large, but there is not much space for us to stow our toiletries. I also found a lack of space to hang the towels after use. The only place for us to hang our towels is on the heater mounted on the wall above the toilet. The lack of hooks also meant there is no place for us to hang our clothing when we shower. Hotel Royal St Georges worked around this issue by placing a large marble top table in front of the door to the balcony in the bathroom. The other thing I found peculiar is a connecting door to the room next door in the bathroom. Decked in blue wallpaper and parquet flooring, and together with the patterned cornice, the living room presents a vibe of yesteryears. The furnishing is a mix of modern and historic in the living room. A side table is positioned next to the entrance of the living room from the entryway. This somewhat oversized side table is equipped with a large lamp, which brings a sense of cosiness to this space. Other than a large fabric two-seater sofa that can sit three adults, placed next to the side table, the only other sitting space in the living room is a single-seater armchair opposite it. To make matters worse, instead of a regular coffee table, the living room is furnished with a small dining table in the middle of the room. The height of this table is too high to be used as a coffee table or even dining table when seated on the lounge sets, or useless as a dining table due to a lack of dining chairs. Nestled in a corner of the living room, next to the sofa, sits a minibar table. The minibar table is sparsely equipped with a Nespresso machine and a kettle with tea cups, coffee pods and tea bags. I found it impossible to use both the kettle and the Nespresso machine at the same time, as there is only one power outlet fitted at the minibar table. The wooden table has seen better days, as it wobbles whenever we make coffee out of the Nespresso machine. We found a cabinet sitting in the corner opposite the minibar table. Placed in the corner next to the bedroom is a TV cabinet. There are very few channels, mainly news channels in English, that we can receive entertainment from the TV. The in-room minifridge is tucked inside a cabinet underneath the TV. The same blue wallpaper is used in the living room, and the brown carpet is seen in the entryway. The king bed occupied the centre of the bedroom, providing us with excellent sleep quality that kept us recharged for the next day. The wooden bedside tables furnished on both sides of the king bed provided us with limited space to stow our lifestyle devices. I found a lack of power outlets installed here for us to charge our lifestyle devices. The only place we could charge them is on the vanity table, which has only one power outlet installed. Fitted onto the wall to the left of the king bed is a set of two white wardrobes. The single-panel door innermost wardrobe is fitted with shelving that allows us to stow small clothing items, while the two-panel wardrobe reveals a hanging rack that is capable of hanging at least two weeks’ worth of clothing. The Royal Suite is not furnished with a work desk. We had to rely on the vanity table in the bedroom next to the wardrobes to perform any work. There is another cabinet, similar to that in the living room, on the right side of the bed, occupying the corner. We also found a wooden luggage rack by the entrance to the bedroom. However, its size is too small to hold our 28” trunk luggage. There are three balconies in the Royal Suite that were assigned to us. The first one is the bathroom balcony. Due to its location, we almost never use this balcony. Moreover, it is not furnished with any furniture. The other two balconies are accessible via the living room and the bedroom, respectively. These two balconies are furnished with an outdoor table and two chairs, which allowed us to relax and people-watch from the balcony.

We booked the historic room and apart from some historic furniture there was not much to experience so recommend to take normal room. Very low chance of early check in event at 2.30 pm. Breakfast was ok only. It was a hodge podge of food. Not sure what they were trying to achieve. The front desk lady is quite rude. The bed was pretty uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi was pretty slow so i could barely use it. The heating could have been better. The location is good - close to train station, harder klum furniculur, the Main Street, Christmas market and the main park area.

(Vasco and Istvan) these men helps as with luggage. Ibrahim, Rabab, Saif were very helpful and kind in the restaurant. General Manager Karim Abid and reception man Antonios they were very gentleman with us and they help us with the check out and make it easy for us. I recommend this hotel for family and for couples. - VHILW (4/5): Has potential to be better but poorly managed/ maintained - I am a platinum member and we checked into a royal suite. Unfortunately, our stay was not as pleasant as we have anticipated, and I will try to sum up the key points as follows. Whilst the room furnitures and decoration met our expectations, the responsiveness to addressing issues and maintenance of equipment is a complete let down. (1) This room is advertised as a room with a tub but unfortunately it is for decoration only and non functioning. However, the disappointment is at no point did any of the front desk staff members informed us of this until I called to inquire on how to operate the tub. So clearly this is false advertisement, why advertise the room comes with a tub when it is clearly non functioning. Whilst we were offered alternative rooms, they did not meet our expectations as they were not a suite. Had I had known in advance, I definitely would not have booked into this hotel. (2) I requested for our sofa bed to be made, and was told someone will be there in 10-15mins. 40 mins later and after follow up again, housekeeping turned up, whilst I understand that they may be busy but I would expect better communication/ management. The staff member who did came to make our bed was apologetic and helpful. It appears the hotel was low in staff causing the long delays. (3) During breakfast on both days, a similar situation re-occurred where there are tour groups yet only 1 staff member at the restaurant to attend to the tour groups and other guests. This resulted in significant delays in any requests or even for the food to be replenished. Again, the hotel management should be well aware and rostered on sufficient staff members to handle number of guests. However, it must be complimented that the hotel did offer compensation in all accor points due to the bathtub issue, but it still does not take away the negative experiences for us and if it were not for the points compensation I would not have been as generous with my rating. Thus, based on my recent experience I definitely would not consider returning to this hotel in the future.

I had requested their shuttle to pick me up from Interlaken OST station but they didn’t respond initially for a few days and on the last day prior to my arrival, they responded they will arrange pick up but never confirmed my arrival time or any other details. Upon arrival, person who checked me in, said they check guest msgs every shift (which was not the case), dishonest response ruined our experience from the beginning. We had to walk with our luggage bags from train station to hotel and upon arrival their were not even apologetic about mess up. Front desk guy and their manager with bad attitude, I would not stay here again as I would spend this much money somewhere else. Their breakfast in the morning was best part, omelette was extra charge, $10 Swiss franks.

Free shuttle is so convenient! When you eat at the hotel restaurant, paying cash need to be sure your room is not charged. I had 3 meals at the restaurant. The food is excellent. I paid 2 cash for the 2 meals and one meal charge to the room. The one charge to the room is correct but there another 47 Swiss francs from restaurant was added to my final bill!

The modern design also has a design element which one can hit head if not careful: There is a corner that has a slope shape so be careful.

- Jennifer (4/5): - The actually hotel was not what I expected. The room I was given had two twin beds put together and you would sink in if you rolled to the middle and it was very hard. The room itself was dingy and did not feel upscale as I thought it would based on the pictures. I love the idea of the historic element but it definitely needs to be spruced up. I paid almost $1000 usd a night including breakfast and was very underwhelmed. This was a birthday trip so my partner ended up booking us a hotel down the street to improve my birthday experience at Victoria Jungfrau-which was amazing. I would say if your staying here stay here for the convenience of the locality to train station, shops, restaurants and book the cheapest room not expecting luxury. I will also say despite the appearance of the hotel the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would personally not book here again as I appreciate beautiful, clean appearing aesthetics when I am on vacation .

- jfoncerrada (2/5): SCAM HOTEL - The hotel has a very good location in Interlaken and is housed in an old building, whose façade was nicely restored. The problem is that this hotel charges rates equivalent to ACCOR’s Luxury category (comparable to Fairmont, Banyan Tree, Sofitel). However, the hotel is very poorly maintained, and the rooms do not meet the standards of that category. The floors, both in the common areas and the rooms, are in bad condition, poorly restored. In the lobby, the doors, columns—everything is scratched and deteriorated, giving the impression of being dirty. They have two types of rooms: modern and historic. I was assigned a modern room. The furniture had no design, with a wooden closet in front of the bed that looked like a meaningless box, scratched and in poor condition. There was an old, small, badly positioned TV, an old sofa, lamps that looked like they came from a dollar store, and a mini-split cooling system (not even concealed in the ceiling) that made noise at night. The materials in the room—carpet, bathroom floors, wallpaper—all correspond to the category of a 2- or 3-star hotel. Additionally, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and women’s perfume. I reported it, but no solution was provided. I cannot understand how ACCOR allowed this hotel to be classified in this category. The hotel is divided into two buildings, and the annexed building is poorly planned. It is actually more practical to enter through the street that divides them than through the lobby. This literally makes you feel like you are arriving at a motel. On top of that, the staircase leading to my room was under maintenance, and during the three days I stayed there, it had a tarp on the steps and a bucket. The area was not closed off (the ceiling was under repair), but the worst part is that in those three days no one worked— they just left the repair materials lying around on the stairs. I asked to speak with the manager to report all these inconsistencies, but during the two days I requested it, although he was supposedly on duty, he was never physically present at the hotel. I had rented two rooms for three nights. I ended up canceling the third night, and I have never felt so robbed when paying for a hotel as I did in this place. I definitely do not recommend it.
- ATIQ (6/5): - The hotel building is great and it looks very nice. The rooms inside are also very nice. Clean and elegant. The furniture is old-style and very good. The service of the main hotel staff was good but the dining area staff service was terrible on the first day (except one younge server). First day, it felt like we came to the dining area of a no-star small hotel for breakfast. Long line up on the coffee machine, no refill in scrambled eggs for almost 20 minutes plus. even reminded a couple of staff members but they said they informed kitchen . nothing more they can do which understandable but even the manager was not helpful. not much good options of food in anyway especially for people of dietry restrictions . we went their for 25th wedding anniversary stay and paid high price but seems like i should have picked a different hotel. will never stay in this again or recommend anyone.
