• Lori (9/5): A comfy, cozy, and perfect place to stay for pur weekend getaway - The staff was super welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was quite good compared to most continental hotel breakfast options. The location was perfect for us getting to UT campus. We live with I40 in front 9f our house, so the minor road noise was soothing for us. Honestly, not a single thing waa against our expectations. There were a few things that could use some attention such as rusting light fixtures in the bathroom and paint touch up. But nothing that would cause me t9 be unhappy.

• Rick N (5/5): A disappointing experience. We have never had such a bad experience like this before. - We didn’t get it. My husband had surgery scheduled. Trying to book was a nightmare. When we got there we found out that we didn’t have a reservation. But, they had a room. I could never get warm water. Didn’t have time to do anything about it.

• Geoff (10/5): Like always, never less than a perfect stay! - This is pretty much the only place I stay when in Knoxville. Whether coming for a ballgame, concert, or just to get away for a night or two, this always an awesome stay. The employees are simply the best! It’s always refreshing to be treated to the orange or lemon sliced water upon arrival. What a great idea!

• Ed (7/5): Nice property in a convenient location, but somewhat noisy. - The suite layout was very good since we were traveling with our grandson. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The interstate location has its downsides. While convenient, it seemed the windows were not very substantial. Both raspy motorcycles and emergency vehicles going past would be estremely loud in the room, waking me several times.

When we came back to the room, the door was left open and the linens were all off the bed. We basically got kicked out of our room 2 hours early and did not even get an apology from the staff when I spoke with the front desk about it.

• Fred (10/5): Great place before moving your kids to UT - Great place to stay, near Knoxville and the University of Tennessee to move your kid into school. It was a quick 10-15 minute drive to campus, the breakfast was excellent, and the place was clean. The only problem was that, many others had the same idea and stayed here, but their parking lot was full.

Coolest part was their pancake machine. And definitely try the orange infused water. It was a great experience and we will stay again.

• TW38449 (8/5): Nice but lots of ambient noise - I stayed here for three nights recently. The facility is well-kept and modern. Check in was efficient. I also received a complimentary room upgrade. The room itself was spotless, although it seemed short on outlets for charging devices. Before I reserved my room, I failed to realize how close to the interstate the building is, and it’s close. I had an interstate-side room and while it didn’t keep me awake overnight, it did if I woke up early and wanted to doze more. Bring earplugs. The parking lot is divided roughly 20/80 between the front and rear lots, and the front lot is tight. The automatic door going out to the back lot wouldn’t always open when it should and you can’t push it open. They NEED TO FIX THAT because that’s an entrapment issue if there were a fire. One thing I didn’t appreciate at all is being told that they couldn’t move me because there were no more rear facing rooms left. I don’t believe that because I never heard a door close the entire time and that’s a five story hotel. Overall, it’s nice but I’ll stay elsewhere if there is a next time.

Bed.... too soft and the box/platform was broken or something. Every time we laid down it made a loud pop noise... we arent over weight people.... only 3 towels and wash cloths for 4 people. Charging ports did not have just USB option.
• Stacy (5/5): It was an okay stay, the price is too high for what you get and definitely not like other Holiday Inns I’ve stayed at. - The location was close to where I needed to be so that was good and the front desk guy was pleasant. The breakfast was decent especially because if you’re a gran and go person. I have stayed here twice and both times it’s issues with the drainage in the sink and shower. No one wants water sitting in the tub as they are showering the day away same with the sink. That’s disgusting and tells me there are some plumbing issues that need to be worked out sooner than later especially since this makes twice in a year’s time span the same issue has appeared. The pillows were also very uncomfortable. For the price there needs to be some major upgrades.

• Wade (8/5): - Comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. This property is easily accessible from I-40 in Knoxville, and is an easy drive to campus, shopping, and restaurants. The property was clean and relatively modern, even if lacking the polish of some other properties. Beds and rooms were very clean and comfortable. On-site breakfast is well-stocked and good for traveling families. Indoor pool and fitness center are small, but clean and serviceable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the noise. The property is on a frontage road immediately parallel to the interstate. Rooms facing the interstate have a lot of road noise. Rooms facing the back of the property are much quieter. Noise dampening curtains would go a long way.
