Reservamos 2 habitaciones .
Mienten respecto a:

- Krystan (10/5): - Ok
- Roberto (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (2/5): You get what you pay for and this wasn't much. - It was maybe a half mile to the beach and close to alot of restaurants. This hotel is old and dirty. The exterior is a mess and the night desk guy sleeping on the couch in the entrance wasn't a good look for the place. The first night the water was turned off in the middle of the night. When it was turned back on there was no hot water. No hot water the next day either. I should have done more research before booking a stay here.
- Travis (2/5): - Wouldn’t stay here again that’s for sure.
- Andrew (8/5): - Place was clean and everyone was helpful and nice. Kind of like a motel but right in the middle of everything. Highly recommended.
- D James (4/5): - No water pressure in shower. Bad area.
- Rachel (3/5): Lesson learned, ready reviews before booking! No pool onsite, no parking on site, original room we got smelled of weed - The rooms were clean There is no pool on site. The first room we got smelled of weed. They gave us a new room thankfully. There is no parking on site either.
- terry (6/5): - The place is like an average motel. Location is good, center of coco beach, but it gets noisy at night (people drinking in the street, yelling).
The room was old, not a lot of lighting. AC worked great. For one night, it was ok. The posting mentioned parking, but when we asked for it, it was a few buildings away in the back of a property, looked like a ditch. We parked on the street instead.
There is no elevator for luggage… There’s a casino downstairs. Didn’t try breakfast.
- Amtul (1/5): Bad - The staff were friendly Cleanliness was quite bad, had an issue with AC which wouldn't work properly, internet connection was very poor, at times had to come to reception to connect. No elevator and too many stairs to climb up and down with baggage.
- Hugh (7/5): Fine. - Nice, clean room Location is on the busy and loud strip, blasting music when trying to sleep. The photos don't match the property- there is no pool.
- Eduardo (2/5): - STAY AWAY , it is not what it used to be many years ago. Filthy, dirty. room falling apart in all areas. Toilet broken. Faucets.frig. you name it. Breakfast was old,Only had once.Pool area was sold . Said had pool offsite. Now rooms but up to back of building. Reception was a table.should not be on expedia.
- Andrés (2/5): Not the best beach. The hotel looks extremely old with bed linen full of holes, not much of light in the room and not Ca - Please update the pictures you have online. Those are very old and it does not reflect the reality of this place.
There is no much light in the room, no TV as apparently the cable service was down (which I doubt is the excuse to not install a proper service)
The bed linen was very old and most of them with holes in it. In general the room looked very old and not well cared by the new owners.
There is no swimming pool. You need to ride a car for either 5 or 10 min to get to a private club that has a lot of restrictions.
It has a Casino inside of the hotel and it brings a lot of undesired people inside of the hotel with not much of a security person at the entrance.
- Donald (10/5): - Great location. Clean rooms
- Ewenda (7/5): 5 weeks of sunshine - Central position Hot water erratic
- Emmanuel (5/5): Passable - Walking distance from the beach Limited parking. Breakfast quantity was large but quality not great. Area is too busy with traffic.
- Dostal (7/5): Great stay - I have stayed here numerous times. Good value for the money and close to what I need. $20 fee to replace a plastic room key.
- Peter (10/5): - The location is awesome
- Jodie (4/5): - The person at front desk did not explain anything. The TV did not work, there is no pool at the facility and the breakfast if next door apparently but we were only given one pass for breakfast and not for both of us so we skipped it.
- Dawn (3/5): Noisy - Close to downtown and beach. Noise, cleanliness, and comfort.
- Randy (7/5): Good -
- Maureen (6/5): - The owner Perla was an excellent host and her staff. The location was convenient but noisy on the strip. The Club was fantastic.
- Nancy (6/5): Convenient location - We made last minute reservations for a weekend so this served the purpose. The location was convenient, but it wouldn't be my first choice if I returned. There is access to pools at two other locations but we bought a day pass at a closer hotel that had a nice restaurant and pool. Hotel is a 2 block walk to the beach and located in the middle of the town with many restaurants and tourist shops. The room was quiet even though there was a lot going on very close by. One queen bed had only one pillow. We asked for a second but never received it. Breakfast was tasty but there was no menu, and with the language difference, we had to look at what others were eating to order our food. The room where breakfast is served felt a bit like a large storage room with an old couch and chair mixed with the tables and a sheet covering some furniture. Also in the breakfast room, the Christmas decorations were still up at the end of January but looked like they might have been there for years. Not sure if the bunny pictures with chinese writing were easter decorations or some type of logo for the casino. Front desk help and the gentleman cleaning rooms were very pleasant and helpful. Water pressure wasn't too strong and water was lukewarm for a shower. We were able to get one of the off street parking spots and the car was safe there. Only two bath towels were provided versus the usual four, but they did have terrycloth robes.
- Jenna (6/5): - TV did not work, safe did not work, toilet did not always work, AC was very loud and did not always work properly.
- Stacey (2/5): - Had an issue with an online booking and staff not only would not help, they kept the money and said “so sorry”. Booked the two rooms we asked for right out from under us while we waited in the lobby with our luggage and then offered no suggestions for transportation or assistance in finding other accommodations. We loved our stay in Costa Rica and at this hotel was the only time we had a bad experience of any type.
- Nicole (5/5): I would definitely read the reviews closer. We didn’t have much of a choice due to our flight being canceled but if I wa - The location was nice, can be loud. The breakfast was delicious but needed to start earlier than 7:30, we couldn’t go to breakfast before leaving. Needs to start at least by 6-6:30 and extended to 10. The sheets didn’t seem very clean and towels very old, No hot water, the handles didn’t work and you couldn’t figure out which was the hot or cold. TV didn’t work. The air conditioning froze up every night and was loud. Our refrigerator didn’t work but they did get us a new one but that one wasn’t very cold. The front desk person when we came to book the room was very nice but spoke no English at all, so couldn’t answer any questions. Place needs some money into it, for up keep.
- Carol (1/5): Very disappointed. Was not a good start to our vacation. And worked too hard to lose money to thei scam hotel. - Absolutely nothing False advertising. No Wifi or TV. Bathroom sink plugged, shower was disgusting. No service. Bad views. Fridge was dirty and handle broken. Didn’t know there was a pool as no one showed us one. When we arrived a kid was working front desk that didn’t speak English. Didn’t help with our bags. Gave us I key. We were told breakfast was included and go across the street for it. It wasn’t free. Asked owner for money back, she said she would if Booking.com would. I contacted Booking.com that said I had to get it from the hotel. No reimbursement!! Even agreed to pay the fees and for one night stay. No answer from either. Guessing I will get nothing back.
- allan (4/5): - Close to beach but too far for the pool. Noisy an no tv .
- Robert (8/5): - It’s a great location if you want to be in the middle of the action. Staff is wonderful & friendly. It’s inexpensive & clean so no complaints.
- Delvin (2/5): Very poor -
- Kristi (8/5): Very good -
- Will (5/5): Passable - good location could use an update
- Christopher (4/5): Deceptively overpriced Dump - The location was good for the beach and restaurants in town and we enjoyed the pool and the beach club that they permitted one to use when booking this hotel, they at least were up to expectations. Unfortunately they were a long way from the hotel and quite impractical to get to unless you had a car which luckily we did. The advert for this hotel was deceptive and I regret not looking at the reviews on Trip advisor which would have alerted me. The rooms where dark and dingy and did not appear to have been decorated for over 20 years. The shower barely trickled tepid water and the noise from motorcycles on the road outside was very loud and obtrusive at all hours. The safe combination mechanism didn't work so they had to provide the master key. There was a coffee machine in the entrance that did not work. There were 2 electrical sockets by the bed and one of those didn't work. One of the only 2 low wattage lights in the room was plugged into that socket so they had to provide an adaptor so that we could charge our devices.
The breakfast was very poor quality with the same sad looking scrambled eggs and hot dogs every day and a plate of old and blemished market reject fruit. The corridor leading to the breakfast room was a disgrace, it doubled as a staff smoking area so there were a couple of old stools and table and cigarette buts on the floor. The WIFI router was secured to the banister rail with cable ties
I would rate it as a 2 star hotel at best and at $180 per night it was not cheap (which added to the feeling of disappointment). Either some serious money should be spent to update this hotel or the price should reflect the quality. We stayed at a far nicer hotel in El Tamarindo for $100 per night so £ 80 to £90 would have been a fairer price for this place.
- Cristopher (3/5): A place you go only if there is not any other option - Location There was dirty, not a good smell, there was no staff in the reception when we get to the hotel, but the worst part was that everything is not well maintained.
Air conditioning was not working well, the TV was nor working.
There is no pool in the hotel, it is far away from it.
- Peter (5/5): Passable -
- Briar (8/5): - Loved my stay at Coco Beach Resort, and the location couldn't have been better. So close to all the restaurants, shops, and the beach. Service was very friendly. I ended up staying for a week and my room wasn't cleaned once during that time or towels replaced, but I'm sure they would have had I asked. Was very clean when I moved in!
- Andrew (7/5): ASLJETTSETT - front desk person was great 👍 very helpful, location is perfect close to everything, 2 minute walk to the beach ⛱️overall a nice place tv didn't work, not that I watch alot of tv when I'm on vacation, but it would've been nice to have working, other than that it's a nice hotel
- Marcio Gabriel (2/5): - Facility is extremely dirty and there wasn’t hot water for shower. I want a refund on this booking.
- Steven (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (2/5): Very poor -
- Jairo (2/5): Unpleasant - A/C hardly worked, small bathroom and smelly, no windows…
- JUAN (6/5): - They offer to have a pool and a Gym and when you arrive they tell you that’s 1.5km from the property. unbelievable !!
- Anita (6/5): - We liked the location a lot. It was a short walk to the beach and surrounded with shops and restaurants. The hotel staff were friendly. The room was basic and the bathroom was very small! There was no hot water.
- Mike (8/5): Very good -
- Abigail (10/5): Beachy local vibes - We love Coco Beach. The hotel was ok the town was alive and vibrant definitely a vibe. I would definitely go back. Beach was ok to swim but was great for morning walks. The restaurants around were amazing great food and service.
- Kattia (5/5): The description and pictures are false - The staff is excellent and the location too The parking lot was terrible and don’t have pool in the property
- David (6/5): - Best beds in Costa Rica. Also a great location close to everything.
- James (4/5): Not Good - The plumbing is deteriorating and the front desk said they would replace the shower head, while I was out for the day, and NO repairs happened.
- Barbara (6/5): - There are not telephones in the room. There is no room service or pool on site. Maid service only occurred when I asked for them to sweep out the room to eliminate the sand I tracked in from the beach. I got my own additional towels from the housekeeping closet they leave open. The rooms and the fixtures are old. Some of the electrical outlets did not work. The sign outside looks like it hasn't been painted or maintained in decades. The employees for pleasant and it did have air-conditioning. But it was not at all like the marketing information listed. PLUS the hotel telephone number is incorrect on their website!! I had great difficulty confirming my room because I never saw the deposit go through to my bank account and I was not able to reach them by phone. The correct telephone number is listed on the sign and that is how I was finally able to reach them.
- Jennifer (7/5): Good -
- Jenssie (2/5): Poor, noisy, dirty - Not will back again...
- Mark (1/5): I just want to erase this place from my memory - This is one of the
Nothing about this place is positive
They might as well just close the place up. I had better experience camping. This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in th world. They advertised breakfast which they sent you across the street which consisted of little fruit and rice and beans. Very little selection. The shower was dripping with no hot water. The TV was old and signal cutting out including the wi/fi internet. It was a horrible experience which I hope nobody goes through .They should just shut the whole place down.
- Laura (6/5): Pleasant - Needs
Updating and I was working and it was so dark I. The room.
So dark. No English channels not one.
Breakfast was
Excellent
- Brian (9/5): Superb -
- Earl (8/5): Very good -
- Christopher (6/5): Convenient and adequate accommodation close to the beach - Good breakfast at the eating establishment adjacent to the hotel, at no additional cost. Really comfy bed. What a nightmare to find! Even knowing where it was I drove past it 5 times and still didn't find it. I ended up parking close by and walking to where it was in order to find the very inconspicuous entrance - the hotel is actually behind the parade of shops with just a narrow entrance between them.
We specifically booked a room with a fridge and the one in the room when we arrived didn't work and was replaced, presumably with one taken from another room. One of the bedside lamps didn't work either. That was remedied by the staff member wiggling and tapping the socket the plug was pushed into.....
- Eamon (5/5): Ok for 2-3 nights but , for me, not longer - Location Very dated, poor wifi
- Susana (10/5): - Great tourist area
- Natalia (7/5): Good -
- Aurora (5/5): over all I'll give a 3 stars. - Well, I like the fact that the stay includes the breakfast. That was a good deal.
It had AC. the room had two comfortable beds. there were no bugs. The hotel is in the downtown area that you could walk down to the restaurants. the portions were very limited during breakfast. We order the food as we arrive but it was still cold.
At the room, the soap was the cheap one that if did not feel like soap.
The parking lot was up hill unpaved and dusty.
- Daniel (4/5): - Property online description did not match what it was really like. No pool on site. It is connected to a little casino that has people walking near your rooms throughout the evening. It is on a main street with loud music until very late in the evening. Would not recommend if you want to get a good nights sleep.
- Cheryl (6/5): - We stayed at the property for 1 night. While I understand saving on electricity. We had reserved 5 rooms, the air conditioning was off on all of them, light unplugged. This is basic prep that could have be done to ready the room.
- Heidi (4/5): - Had to book when flight was cancelled. All places were booked so had to book this place. Other than having an available room in a crisis situation I would NEVER stay here again. Dirty, noisy, unsafe, dark. Not a good place.
- Paola (2/5): - The bed had mites or bed bugs; it’s noisy; terrible conditions.
- Debra (4/5): - Had to stay because of flight delay. Was ok
- Brian (2/5): Rip off because no room existed - The room did not exist
Hotel had zero vacancy and you
Still charged me
Please give full refund
- Lesa (7/5): Good -
- Jose (9/5): Ask as much as you can at the check in - The room is very good size. Clean and nice the property is nice The receptionist/ Customer service is horrible they don't share the wifi password and the las day on the check out moment asked me "why you didn't went to the pool or our beach club they do have pool" this should be offered in the check in and not on the check out.
- Andrew (4/5): Disappointing -
- Laura (7/5): Good - The staff was friendly. Breakfast was traditional and fine. Location was a few minutes walk to beach. It's on the main street with lots of bars nearby .
- Ashleigh (4/5): Disappointing -
- Hyvonen (6/5): Budget but clean and adequate. - Clean hotel in the heart of Coco beach. Lots of restaurants and shops really close. The bar across the street on weekend nights had loud music playing until 2-3 am. The lock on the door was flimsy. Looks like other rooms had upgraded keycard locks- not mine. Safe battery was dead- couldn’t use. The menu of damages next to the bed was classy.
- Miguel (6/5): - bad check in experience
TV remote control didnt work
- Donna (8/5): Very good - Great location in the middle of town.
Breakfast was good.
Comfortable beds.
Plenty hot water. Bit noisy at the weekend.
Pool wasnt anywhere near the hotel.
- George (5/5): I'll look for better - Location poo[ availability
- Rich (3/5): website suggested a pool and near beach...it was not - it's part of a casino, AC didn't work without help, room was clean
- thomas (10/5): - centrally located, nice people
- Blais (8/5): Good access by walk - Service available to open the gate of car parking. No hot water for the shower, breakfast was not very good and no access the 10 february because soccer team has fully the restaurant, Nose during morning 10 fabruary because soccer child was play in front of my door.
Room mate, change my towel and basket carbage. on my demand
- Matthew (5/5): Passable -
- Jenny (8/5): Very good -
- Douglas (8/5): - There isn't a gym nor a pool as listed in the amenities.
- Francisco (5/5): It is good but only as a last choice - Only the beds Parking not at hotel, swimming pool not at the hotel, noises from other rooms, awful breakfast
