Guest Reviews
- Elizabeth (10/5): - The room and bathroom were spacious and the terrace is lovely. The location is convenient to both the beach and old town Korčula.
- Mark (10/5): - Delightful host. Beautiful views of the old town from the patio areas. Nice shared kitchen. Contemporary furnishings.
- Mark (10/5): - Very kind host. Beautiful setting.
- mike (10/5): Highly recommend - The hostess was wonderful and came to meet us with a map of the town and dining recommendations. The room was immaculate with a great shower and comfortable beds. A quick walk down stone steps into old town. It is not possible to find this place without help so make sure and message them in advance to be shown to the room. Swimming off the rocks on the point was spectacular with no discernible current. Great value. Great location.
- Michelle (10/5): Great views from the terrace. - We had a sea view room. Really clean room comfy bed. Really friendly owner. The shared kitchen and terrace were great. Shirt walk from Korcula old town. Really enjoyed our stay.
- Ramzi (10/5): - Honestly, everyone keeps saying how amazing Helena is and that is very true! Wonderful host!
- Jorge (10/5): - Located very close to the old town and port. Great view of the town and the sea from the accomodation. Very clean and ample room with large windows and patio outside to enjoy the view. Elena was very hospitable.
- Kevin (10/5): - Some nice little touches and an excellent location,
- ROBERT (10/5): - The host was very friendly and helpful. The property had a great view and a kitchen with cooking pots and dishes and utensils and condiments and a shower for people to use who are waiting for check-in
- Michael-John (10/5): - Very accommodating, nice views , clean room , close to the main areas .
- c (10/5): Great location, clea - Great location. Short walk from ferry pier and local bus station. Short walk to walled city but out of the way so you don’t have the noise of late night reverie. Beautiful roof top deck, spacious clean room. Small kitchen with hot kettle, fridge sink and kitchen ware.
- Nigel (10/5): Clean, functional, alm tje facilities we needed. - Lovely three night stay. Thank you
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good - Location is just away from noise and crowds of old town, short 5 min walk to port too. Property is on a small alley with many, many steps. And even more steps leading to property, and all rooms are on second floor. I found it difficult with one piece of luggage and I am in rather good health. Kitchen for guest use is very useful, and allowing stored luggage for a few hours after check out is great. Room is basic but fine. No toiletries like shampoo and towels were very rough. Beautiful view from property, helpful host.
- Kathryn (10/5): Great place to stay! - Great hotel. Comfortable beds. Very quiet yet short walk to the town. Great, friendly and helpful host. I highly recommend and would stay there again
- Christina (8/5): - Apartment was close to ferry terminal but difficult to find roads are actually laneways. If owner offers to pick you up take her up on the offer. Room was comfortable enough and having the downstairs kitchen was a bonus. Beautiful outlook from the terrace.
- Gabrielle (10/5): convenient, comfy, clean - Wonderful place to stay, convenient, easy to get to, clean, comfortable, great views & breakfast, great to have a fridge & guest kitchen, lovely people run it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great view of Korcula from the verandah. Very close to old town.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing in every way! The view from the deck is absolutely amazing!! They were so helpful and kind!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great views of the Korcula town! Nice host! Great air conditioner, don't put it on too low temperature...
- Colin (10/5): I would go back for another holiday at the accomm. - Great accommodation and a very helpful and friendly manager.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good location. Owners are very attentive. Thank goodness they checked where the ferry was docking for us (bizarrely it changes).
- Graham (8/5): Helpful and friendly - Helena was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, including picking us up from the ferry and taking us there again when we left. Although the unit was high up (with a lovely view) it was only minutes from old town. Great balconies and also a good communal kitchen and washing machines. My only complaint was that the shower was very tiny and awkward to use. The room was spotless and surrounded by lovely gardens, very relaxing.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Helena went out of her way to welcome us and help us. The view from the three balconies was beautiful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful hosts - Host was extremely helpful, service was excellent. Views from the deck are amazing. Location is very good, easy access to old town, Tommy supermarket, ferries, etc.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Helena was hospitable, helpful, and friendly. We had one of the top floor rooms (with kitchenette) and access to the top terraces (great views, indeed!) as well as privacy. We appreciated the cleanliness and spaciousness. The climb up to her house wasn't that big a deal for us--it wasn't that steep or has that many steps. Will stay there again!
- Judy (10/5): - Magnificent views. Balcony areas are a bonus. Very comfortable bed. Owners were most welcoming.
- Barbara (10/5): Absolutely fabulous. Meticulously clean. Great hos - This is a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are large, bright, attractive, well furnished. Imnaculately clean only a 5 minute walk from the ferry. I loved the double glass doors to the room and the louvered ones behind the glass, which enabled me to leave the glass ones open and lock the louvered ones so I could have fresh air at night to sleep. The communal kitchen is great--well equipped and super clean. I could walk down a few steps make a cup of tea and go back up to the table outside my room on the deck and enjoy it. I could have made other food too but chose not to.
Helena is a wonderful host--the best of my 3 week trip to Croatia. I cannot say enough good things about her her husband and Accurate Drasko. There are some steps but easy to manage--nothing like the steps in Dubrovnik. Helena and her husband are helpful, kind, gracious hosts. I was a solo traveller and found this place perfect--a nice planned of Independence and help when I needed it.
I highly recommend this place and wish more owners were so conscientious.
- janice (10/5): Best location and ambience - It is everything you read about the on the 5 Star reviews and more!
Beautiful view of the harbor. Helena and husband are very welcoming and attentive while still allowing you much privacy and space. Loved my stay!
- Andrew (10/5): Friendly owners, good location - Excellent owners, great place just out of town. Good breakfast which is extra but worth it.
- Julie (8/5): Value for money - Helena was a lovely host, we were met at the port by her mother in law who showed us to the accommodation. Stunning views, spotless room, good location easy walk into old town. Only drawback was shared kitchen, no TV and nowhere to sit inside except on the bed which wouldn’t be a problem if weather is good however we had heavy thunderstorms so couldn’t make proper use of the lovely outside terrace. Korcula is a beautiful place with some lovely restaurants but not cheap and lacking in sandwich/snack facilities if you don’t want to self cater so you could easily spend a fortune. The accommodation Drasko was very good value for money & would recommend for a couple of nights.
- Jose (10/5): - Helena met us at the ferry port and walked us back to the accommodation. The room is very clean and comfortable, bathroom tiny but functional. There is a lovely terrace and the view is wonderful. It is a short walk into the old town. Should be aware that there are quite a few steps.
- Theresa (10/5): Definitely book this! - This is a brilliant place to stay. The location is perfect, just a five minute walk from the old town. The views from the terrace outside our room were great. Beds were comfortable and the property is modern. There is a shared kitchen so you can pick up some food from the supermarket and have breakfast on the terrace at your leisure. The host, Helena, was very helpful, meeting us off the ferry and letting us leave our bags and continue to use the shared kitchen and bathroom until we left on the evening ferry. I was worried that the low price charged would be reflected in the facilities but in fact this was the best place that we stayed in our ten days in Croatia. We would have no hesitation in going back.
- Rebeka (8/5): Nice place to stay - Very nice little place, clean, close to old town. The only thing is the WiFi in our room was non existent. Other than that tiny thing, everything else was great, what stood out the most were our host, the kindest, sweetest and most helpful. What ever we needed they were there to help right away. Would definitely recommend!!!🙂
- Verified traveler (10/5): A total gem - I absolutely loved my stay here. The view is incredible and you can sit for hours on the terrace and enjoy it with a glass/bottle of wine. The room is spotless, has everything you need, and is just a few minutes walk to the old town. The only downside was the wifi did not work well in the room itself so I had to go on the amazing terrace to connect.
- Verified traveler (8/5): recommended - our host met us at the ferry station and took us to our accommodation. nice view of oldtown and a short stroll to that area. lots of steps to get up if you have heavier luggage but all in all not too bad. would have been nice to have some help w luggage up the stairs like we had with other accommodations. place very well kept, clean, basic and excellent value.
- John (10/5): Great place to stay in Korcula - We found Acommodation Drasko an excellent choice for our stay in Korcula. It's just a few minutes walk from the bus station, ferry port and the main gate of the old town. Our room was clean, light, comfortable and quiet, and the view from the shared terrace is terrific. Downstairs there's a shared kitchen for guests to use, and there are several small supermarkets nearby. Best of all, Helena is a gracious and welcoming host who, with help from her husband and mother-in-law, takes excellent care of her guests. Korcula is a lovely island, perfect if you enjoy walking or cycling.
- Leah (10/5): Great Location!! Great views! friendly service!! - Spotless rooms with great balcony views of sea and old town Korcula. Short walk to cafes and restaurants. Helena was great with information and needs of tourists. Great for singles couples and families!!
- Rod (8/5): Amazing view from terrace - Great host, excellent location with view of Korcula old town, terrace and well equiped shared kitchen
- Daniel (10/5): Comfortable and Friendly - Phenomenal find in Korcula. Helena was an amazing host from the moment we booked until we left. The apartment was clean and comfortable - and the views from the roof deck were spectacular. (The parking was a little challenging at first - but Helena came out to meet us and helped us find where we needed to be...) Korcula is charming and beautiful - all around a nice place to spend a few vacation days.
- Happy Couple (10/5): Great place and location - Accomodation Drasko is wonderful. We were greeted at the ferry by our host Helena. The Accomodations were a short walk away. She gave us recommendations on where to eat and visit - all were great experiences.
The place is quiet, close to town and a great supermarket. Highly recommended.
- Connor (10/5): Our best stay in Croatia - most helpful host - Our stay with Helena at Accommodation Drasko was easily the best experience we had in Croatia.
Helena was the most helpful person we met, checking in with its everyday to see if we needed any help or advice and she booked all our activities (bicycles, scooter, boat trip) which meant we had an entirely hassle free stay in Korcula.
Be sure to take a boat trip with her friend Goran - it was the best excursion we had in Croatia.
The apartment is only a few minutes walk from the town and the terrace has fantastic sea views. There is a shared kitchen downstairs for cooking which is equipped with evening you need if self catering.
If visiting Korcula, look no further for accommodation as Drasko is the best you will get.
- Jessica (10/5): Nice apartment with great views and good host - Clean, quiet apartment with nice views over Korcula. Couple of minutes walk from the centre. Friendly host who provided lots of information which meant that Korcula was the best part of our holiday. Only comment - could do with a sign at the apartment as took a couple of minutes to find.
- Daniel (10/5): Perfect spot - Everything was great, from the location to the room. Great facilities and Helena is a great host: super helpful without being invasive.
- Michael (8/5): Korcula on a value budget - Excellent value and very well located to explore the lovely town of Korcula. Super staff who take great pride. Very helpful advice to see the best of Korcula town at the best value.
- Ben (10/5): Peaceful Setting - This is such a great spot to recharge while exploring the town of Korcula. Helena is a wonderful host, she was very helpful with requests and information about the town. The room is clean and comfortable-the bed felt great. Each morning we sat on the shared balcony and ate the breakfast we bought from the grocery store as we enjoyed the beautiful view of the town and port. There is a shared kitchen with dishes and appliances. You can easily walk to town in 5 minutes yet you get to stay in a quiet, peaceful setting.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic guesthouse in a great location, close to beach and old town. Very clean, beautiful view from balcony, very friendly host.
- Lesley (10/5): Good location, excellent hostess. - Helena is a fountain of knowledge, very friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable, clean, and the accommodation has great views of the sea. It is 5 minutes walk to the centre of Old Town Korcula, and on the doorstep of the bus station.
- johannes (10/5): Outstanding. - Excellent service. Very helpful.owner .
- John (10/5): I would recommend. - Helena met us at the ferry when we arrived. It was a short walk from there to the apartment. Nice room, terrific view from the balcony and a very short walk to the town. Helena made a number of recommendations for restaurants and things to do. She organized a scooter for us.
- Cheryl (10/5): Great view and convenient while inexpensive - Wonderful. Hostess Helena speaks perfect English and was very friendly and helpful
- nathan (8/5): - We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The owners was very friendly and helped us out with great knowledge of the area. The balcony views were fantastic and the room was a very good size. Would definitely stay again if in korkula and was our best hotel in croatia we stayed in for our week trip.
- Elyse (10/5): Wonderful hotel in an excellent location - This was such a lovely hotel located right next to Korculas city center. My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and had a wonderful stay! The rooms were lovely and the location was perfect! Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location lovely views over Korcula town from the various terraces.
Elena the host was very friendly and helpful
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent location, great room. - Really enjoyed our stay here. Great room. Clean and large. Bathroom very small but was ok for 2 nights.
- Vani (10/5): great stay - Great place to stay. Very helpful owner. Helena met us at the ferry and took us back to the accommodation. Her husband also arrived to help take my luggage bag up the steps (there a few). She explained to us where all important locations were - supermarket, ATM's, food, ferry tickets, good beaches etc. She also offered to organise tours.
Great location as its close to everything. Great view of Korcula town too.
I would definitely recommend to others.
- Tom (10/5): Great location and wonderful hostess - Helena, the hostess, was so helpful from when we first arrived and throughout our stay - thank you! The location is perfect, a short walk from the old town and the standard of accommodation was up there with the best I experienced in Croatia. I would thoroughly recommend staying here when you visit Korcula.
- Ron (10/5): One of the Best Ever - I read previous ratings and thought it can't be that good but I was wrong. The accommodation was excellent, clean, close to the centre of town. I cannot rate this stay high enough. If you are going to Korcula you must stay here.
- David (8/5): Troubled start that ended well - We arrived on a very hot day, when we found out the arrangement I had made with the hotel via email for 3 single beds had been forgotten, and we had a double and a single. It took a few hours, but eventually it was sorted. After that our stay was a pleasure. Very helpful with everything we needed, washing, a cruise around the island. Just have to remember that in Croatian a jetty is called a bridge, and when we were told to meet for our cruise at the bridge, we never thought to look for a jetty. All worked out in the end.
- Stephen (10/5): Beautiful, friendly quiet rooms and lovely view!! - we were met at the ferry by our lovely hostess, a medium walk with some stairs but very manageable. Villa is amazing with very nice rooms, aircon and beautiful view on shared terrace. Had excellent kitchen and some basics (food) provided to help make a meal. We cooked for ourselves with fresh food from market stalls. Excellent value for money and loved the family who live there. Wish we could have had more days to really unwind and enjoy the location for everything it offers. Very helpful info for sightseeing and activities from Helena (hostess)
- Verified traveler (10/5): Relaxing stop over in Korcula - Helena met us at the ferry and took us back to the apartment, a short walk through the town. She made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble, an extremely hard working young couple. The view from the balconies was stunning, 5 minutes to the bus station and 7 minutes from the old town. As an older couple we would recommend this accomodation to all travelling to Korccula.
- Stephen (8/5): Great option just a short walk from Korcula Town - Responsive and helpful hosts. Good location, just a short walk from the ferry and Korcula Town. Spotless and comfy rooms. Communal kitchen was handy for cooking meals and eating while enjoying nice views from the terrace. Overall, great option.
- Verified traveler (8/5): You get exactly what you pay for - Perfect view from the shared terrace.
This place is like a hostel though. Very cheap and casual feel to it.
The host is lovely and the walk into town was very short.
Really enjoyed my stay here.. Just watch out for bites..
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall a cosy place at a 5-minute walk from the old town, host Helena did a perfect job in explaining everything we need to know about the town.
- Mark (8/5): A Great Place For A Relaxing Break - We stayed for a week in July and really enjoyed it. Helena could not have been more helpful and the location was wonderful, close to the town, very near the big supermarket and with fantastic views of the town and island from the balcony.
- Ashley (10/5): Great private accommodation in Korcula town. - My boyfriend and I had a great time at this lovely private accommodation about a five minute walk from Korcula's old town. The place is small, with approximately 6 rooms, so it was quiet and nice for a relaxing get away. The balconies were also a nice place for breakfast as there was a great view of the old town and sea. Air conditioning was much appreciated given the 35+ degree heat! Would stay here again.
- Deirdre (10/5): Great place to stay - Enjoyed our stay in accommodation Drasko, Helenas mother in law met us at the port and brought us to the accommodation. The room was comfortable and very clean. Helena was very helpful with advise of what to do on the island. Would recommend it to anyone travelling the islands. Very close to the old town, beautiful view.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A lovely place to stay with clean rooms, welcoming owners and great views!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything OK.
- Marco (10/5): Awesome stay at Accomodation Drasko - We stayed two nights at this apartment hotel. The view from the balcony was amazing. Helena did a great job answering all our questions and providing top notch service. They are a young family, but really know what service is.
two small cons:
In order to get to the apartment and have that amazing view, its a lot of stairs, don't bring heavy suitcases.. lol
the wifi was a bit slow at times.
Once they become more established, if they could provide breakfast it would be amazing with the view.
Overall, amazing time and great service from Helena.
- Freddy (10/5): Room with amazing views - We were delighted to arrive in Korcula and be met at the ferry by out host, Helene. We followed her back up to the accommodation overlooking the sea and the old city of Korcula. Helene couldn't have been more helpful organising a dive, scooter hire, and informing us about places to visit and things to see. The apartment was basically but very adequately furnished with everything you require. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wish that we had longer than the 3 days we spent in such a beautiful place. Definitely somewhere we want to return to.
- Verified traveler (10/5): great spot in Korcula with a very nice view! - We were grateful that Helena picked us up from the ferry. The room was nice and clean and had a lot of space. A good stay!
- Maria (10/5): Lovely guest house, brilliant host - This guest house has the most amazing view!
When we arrived we were picked up by Helena at the port and we walked together to the accommodation.
Helena was very helpful throughout our stay!
The house is only a 2-3 minute walk to the Old City.
I would recommend this house if you are visiting Korcula!
- Tyler (10/5): Our favorite place of the trip! - This was by far our favorite place of our trip so far (We've been on the road for almost 3 months now. The woman who runs the hotel was fantastic, picked us up from the ferry port, helped us with our laundry and bent over backwards to make sure we had a great stay. There is a terrace on the top of the house that over looks the whole city and the water and it was the best view we have had. We ended up cooking dinner every night in the kitchen and eating up the terrace enjoying the views. Would recommend this place absolutely!
- Susanna (10/5): Wonderful! - We stopped in Korcula for two nights on our honeymoon and loved staying at Accomodation Drasko. Helena met us at the ferry and took us back to her place. Our room had access to multiple balconies with a great view of the old town and the sea. Helena suggested things to do and places to eat, and she also did our laundry at no extra charge. We did breakfast with her on the balcony one morning at 45 kuna pp and that was also lovely. I would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The view of Korcula town from the roof was great. We were close enough to wander down but could escape when we wanted and watch from afar. Our host,Helena, popped past a couple of times a day to answer any questions.
