Guest Reviews
- Brendon (8/5): Good value for what you pay - We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which wasn’t spacious and clean. Amenities were in good working condition yet small things such as bathroom tap and window latches were either worn or didn’t work. Furniture a little old and run down. Bed was comfortable and we would stay here again. Good value for the size of the room and close to Essendon restaurants
- Bryan (8/5): Good for the area - We did not arrive early and we did not arrive late but cleaner was still cleaning. A pleasant lady who we waited for her to finish.
Vary spacious and basic comfort level in furniture.
good sized and well equipped kitchen.
Doors to bathroom could do with a good carpenter to adjust and repair.
Enough food outlets within walking distance to satisfy most people.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property was very cozy, comfortable and convenient for travelling with a family. The size of the property was perfect. There is nothing to dislike it is nice.
- Natalie (10/5): 8/10 - We good and comfy. Quiet and clean
- Rohan (10/5): - Good service, close to the tram strop, room was clean on arrival
- Sharon (10/5): Great Room - Great room and friendly customer service would stay again
- Verified traveler (8/5): Clean and comfortable - We enjoyed our stay. I'd say it's good value for the price. However, the hotel seems a bit older. Our room was clean, large and comfortable. The bedroom had a king size bed with a nice mattress. I slept well. The kitchen was appointed well enough. For the price we paid, our stay was adequate. However, temper your expectations, this is a budget hotel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - While the accommodation was very spacious, this property is a bit tired and needs a little TLC. Broken lock on the door, broken drawer on the desk, bathroom window wouldn't open (or close), no aircon in the bedroom.
- Julie (6/5): Average - Comfortable and clean, bit dated missing cutlery but quickly rectified, street noise so not totally soundproof but biggest thing that annoyed me was there was no clothes dryer as advertised as full laundry and shown in pictures, also no information pack in room would have really been helpful.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The apartment was big and spacious but there is only 1 toilet which is very inconvenient for a big family.
The water heater was difficult to adjust and the water was either too hot or too cold.
- Kristie (10/5): Easily one of the best night stays I’ve had in mel - Everything from check in to check out was so easy!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We stayed in the 3 bedroom which is on the top floor. Very spacious. Balcony had high screens so the kids were safe outside. Apartment was very sunny and warm, a real plus in winter! Beds were comfortable but one had a broken bed head which was potentially a head entrapment hazard for the children. The kitchen was equipped just enough to self cater but it would have been good to have six full sets of crockery and cutlery. (Extras were supplied when we requested them.) Also an extra few tea towels. The wardrobes have lots of hanging space but not much shelving and only a few coathangers supplied. Appliances, tv, air conditioner were all working. Location is good on the tram line and with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Spacious living area. Great location close to trams, cafes and grocery shops.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The car park was so hard to get in. Also the bath/shower was horrible and so hard for the kids to get into and myself being so short
- Julianne (8/5): Great location, friendly staff. - Great location,very clean, beds comfortable, service good,very helpful re late checkin. Sliding door from dressing room to bathroom in need of repair as not working. Would be great to have more than 2 teabags for use in the unit and milk was also light on too.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The rooms were in poor condition and the gore very run down. Would never stay there again
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I'm not a clean freak but this property could do with a really good cleanup top to bottom. Pillows, Quilt covers, towels and bathroom were the on clean parts of the apartment. NO top sheet was provided so we removed the quilt and the quilt itself looked infested. We had to put it out in the lounge room. The staff were great at arranging after hours check in.
- David (4/5): - TV in the room did not work.
No one was available to assist the following morning when checking out so that a bag could be left for a few hours.
Room itself was good.
- Dani (6/5): - Nice size apartment in the Essendon area.
Easy to get in and out of, no reception staff on site to assist though (you do have to call them).
Our phone in the apartment was ringing at 1am in the morning, unsure as to if someone was being a nusance outside (didn't get up.)
Decor is a bit outdated and bedhead not attached to bed, made noise every time I rolled over (dangerous).
Good sized apartment though and secure off street parking.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Noisey but tidy - A BIT TOO NOISEY
- Livio (10/5): Great place - Nice place to stay, bit of noise from traffic but apart from that...very good.
- Jo (8/5): comfortable and roomy - Room was pleasing, staff pleasant and helpful, lots of room for a family and comfortable but the neighbouring guests were too noisy. the walls were thin and we could hear all that was going on next door. this ruined an otherwise very pleasant stay
- Gerard (8/5): - perfect location for the moonee valley races. A bit rundown and can hear any noise in the whole complex. But overall it was what we expected.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Light outside at entry would be good. Henry was extremely helpful & room was spotlessly clean & comfortable. we enjoyed our stay.
- Paul (8/5): Great Value and Location - Little bit dated, but heaps of room and very clean. Located close to the airport, restaurants, pubs and services. Happily recommend.
- Luise (6/5): Convenient location. - Hotel was conveniently located close to city and had good parking under the hotel. The two bedroom unit was very large which was lovely. The unit was a bit worn and furniture was very basic. The beds were very comfortable however there was only one extra blanket and no extra cushions. I had to use the towels as an extra blanket. I think the hotel could have done with some updating.
- nate (10/5): Summer inn - Great scene and very good location, easy access to all areas of Sydney thank you for the stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was clean and comfortable I would stay there again
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Apartment was convenient for where we had meetings but was very run down. Never saw any staff but everything was organised as we wanted on arrival. Bedding and towels very clean and nice but bath, walls and carpets need updating.
- Brett (8/5): Suited me to a tee close to my work commitments - staff could not have been more helpful in attending to me Henry hats of mate for making contact and ensuring my time was a pleasant one thanks again.
- John (8/5): Well appointed apartment. - The apartments were in an area I preferred to stay in and were perfect for my requirements having used them for my family previously. Some issues with initial access and the parking is tight however otherwise was a well appointed apartment with more than adequate facilities to assist me achieve everything I needed to do. Will be used again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): good place to stay near the airport. - good place to stay near the airport.
- Ros (10/5): Convenient location for apartment accommodation - Staff very helpful indeed with my late check-in. Excellent comfort all round.
- Kellie (10/5): 10 out of 10 - Very friendly, lovely spot, very clean and quite. Owner is lovely & really appreciated everything they do to make you feel welcomed. 10/10
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Very disapointing
Dirty windows mould and dust in bathroom
Stale smell throughout
- Martin (8/5): Close to the airport, a $25 taxi ride door to door - Very comfortable and clean. I thought it would be noisy being on a main road but the heavy glazing ensured a quiet night. The manager was very helpful and polite.
- patty (8/5): - Good place to stay. Lounge furniture needs to be upgraded. Close to nice restaurants.
- Matthew (10/5): - My stay was fantastic. The room is massive and clean. Was extremely happy with my stay!
- Peta (8/5): Good location with parking and wifi - Location suited us with a park and playground opposite for kids and walking distance to a variety of eateries. Huge rooms. Parking and wifi was a big bonus.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good place to stay, clean and well appointed for the price. Only down fall was the underground parking! Took about 2mm of tread off the rear tyres trying to get out, very steep. Need more reception staff. Would stay again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Hotel was modern and was a great location. - Hotel had plenty of room and was very spacious. Balcony was very big and the rooms were very comfortable. Hotel staff very friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place, free parking and wifi close to shops. Very clean, fab staff
- brooke (2/5): COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED!! - This hotel was a complete let down.
The photos are NOTHING alike the real hotel. I took my husband and 3 kids and we felt so unsafe. There were broken power points, flickering lights, the carpet was disgusting, the kids didn't even have doonas. The front door was dodgy as another UNsafe point. The lamp in the kids 'room' was home wired and stuck together with sticky tape. Also the smoke alarm in the kitchen was non existent. I will NEVER return!!!!
- jack (10/5): Nice place - Under gound carpark is a joke says 2.1 clearance but would only be 1.8 down the ramp
- Richard (2/5): 2 star at best - Carpets dirty
No top sheets
Bunk single beds no good for older people
Foam mattresses unacceptable
Not good enough for the price
- Verified traveler (6/5): Needs new carpet and wall fixed properly from hole - Comfortable beds great location only fault was burns in carpet from smoke butts and iron in need of replacement holes in wall and door not a good look when you have children
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good size and location - Decor a little tired but very clean, and staff helpful
- Julie (8/5): Great Location - Only a one night stay this time but the apartments would also be great for extended stays. Spacious rooms, full kitchen facilities, own laundry and nice bathrooms. Handy to cafes, pubs and other dining options. Tram stop to city at front door. Secure underground parking and good to have free wi fi.

Park across the road, decent balcony and good privacy.
- christine (10/5): - Value: Affordable; Cleanliness: Spotless;
close to public transport, and shopping strip.
- Kev (6/5): -
Linc hotel fantastic.
- Ash (10/5): great help from the guys - No trouble from the staff only help. Taxi company couldn't guarantee a cab for our early flight. The manager took us out in his own car to make sure we made our flight. Top stuff!
- Kyle (10/5): - Facilities: Home away from home; Value: Bargain; Service: Go the extra mile; Cleanliness: Beautiful;

- Sam (10/5): -
- Cherlyn (6/5): Roomy, yet overpriced. - Airport shuttle was included, but when checking in we were told we had to make an appointment for the shuttle 2 to 3 days in advance. The clerk did talk to his manager, getting us a thirty dollar credit towards a taxi that cost a bit more than that. The bathroom, bedrooms and kitchen were nice, but the living room carpet was full of burn holes (supposedly a non-smoking unit), and the sofa was filthy looking and torn. Both were desperately in need of replacement. The walls were banged up and it smelled. Large balcony but needs to be pressure washed. The place did heat up nicely.
- Brendan (6/5): - Facilities: Tired; Value: Affordable; Service: Lacking; Cleanliness: Smelly, Grubby;
- Verified traveler (4/5): Room smelt of cigarettes, property not secure - The location was great and suited our needs. The room was not clean, pink mould in bathroom, and the couch looked grubby. The room smelt of cigarette smoke, I had to launder all our clothes on returning home - even ones not worn because the smell impregnated them. The sliding door on the balcony could not be locked even after being checked by the attendant. We would not stay here again.
- Carolyn (6/5): - Facilities: Typical; Value: Reasonable; Service: Polite; Cleanliness: Tidy;
Room not ready by 4pm because of party previous night. Changed rooms but not reallly acceptable bedding wise.
- Brett (10/5): -
Great facility close buy and an wonderful walk available on the Brisbane river
- KC (8/5): - Facilities: Good; Value: Reasonable; Service: Polite; Cleanliness: Poor, Used condoms in room!;
Noisy all night, yelling and carrying on from other rooms and not real clean.
- andrew (4/5): - you could smell cigarette people had been smoking in the rooms burn marks on the blankets would not stay there again ever rooms were so cheap looking as well
- Laura (6/5): - Facilities: Basic; Value: Average price; Cleanliness: Tidy;
- simon (4/5): Smoky smell and burnt carpets - layout and size was good, kitchen was fine also. However someone had definitely been smoking in the room and there where multiple burn marks in the carpet.
- Sharon (2/5): Do Not Stay Here - On booking the hotel did not represent the pictures that were displayed from their webpage or online booking page.
Ridiculously overpriced for what appears to be more like a backpackers hostel and had an immediate smell to the building
Opened the room door and was immediately greeted by stained, sparse room with outdated furniture that had not been cleaned. Bathroom floor had hair over it and not washed. Immediately had room cleaned by the only person on duty which seemed to be the person for contact for everything. Front reception closes at 6pm so if there is a problem then BAD LUCK! Terrible accomodation
- Amanda (6/5): - Facilities: Basic; Value: Unreasonable, So grubby; Service: Polite, Broken heater / door etc; Cleanliness: Smelly, Grubby, Very poorly maintained ;
Broken rear door and filthy carpet .. Heater broken
- Fiona (8/5): - Facilities: Above average; Value: Moderate; Service: Friendly; Cleanliness: Tidy;

We were originally booked for 8 days left in 6 days.
- Sarah (8/5): - Facilities: Basic; Value: Cheap, Economical; Service: Basic; Cleanliness: Clean;
Website photos show a lovely new place but the rooms are now outdated and the elevator was creaky and scary.
- bivek (8/5): - Had enjoyed the stay
