- 724randis (2/5): Poor Manager and Poor Housekeeping staff. - I had been staying at this hotel since opening but sadly I won’t be returning. The manager and head of housekeeping Mercedes and their posse of other incompetent staff who are their friends have done this place in. Over the past several months the rooms are consistently not being cleaned. All the do is change the towels and provide toilet paper but only if if you’re lucky. Bed linens are not changed. Nothing wiped down. No sweeper ran. When you complain it’s your fault and there’s no making it right. No amount of renovations will safe this place as long as the lady manager and Mercedes are still there.

- travelerK20 (4/5): Buggy, dirty, dated with a nice view. - A “competitive rate for the area” today gets you an outdated dump that is begging for a cleaning. This was stop one on my 10 day road trip, the most expensive and the second worst of my trip. After almost 10 hours on the road I was way too tired to even care to look around. Morning comes and the light through the window show what a beauty of a property I dropped $153 dollars on. Dated dusty furniture, bugs, a clogged AC vent and a shower pan that was every color but white. Due to time constraints and being on vacation I didn’t really complain til I got home. Seeing I paid the most here really made me mad, because where’s the value? Where’s the care for my hard earned money since you can’t be bothered to clean a room. Wasn’t asking for a refund, some points would be nice or a sorry. Instead I get this passive aggressive response from the gm with no apology or anything. Hampton Inn doesn’t stand for quality anymore, they just use the name to make you feel comfortable enough to trust it. I’m sure the manager will respond to this blaming me because I didn't alert the staff, but who are you gonna trust? Don’t be like me, pick another place. A few positives, staff was nice outside of the manager, nice view on the back side of hotel and tons of shopping and dining very close by. Road noise is a problem.
- Herman (10/5): Great and friendly staff everyone was so nice - The property was neat and clean and organized staff very friendly our room was amazing after switching rooms because the first room had lady bugs and stink bugs everywhere on the windows and curtains because of the AC is what we was told immediately after calling the front desk Mark came to our room with another room key and he also offered to go check the new room out to make sure everything was good before we left the old room he was so nice and helpful I feel like he went above and beyond his duties he was mainly focused on us being comfortable and satisfied we were through out our weekend stay he was so polite and always greeted us when we was going and coming great conversations overall he was the best always making sure we was good and that if we needed anything to let him know we really enjoyed our stay and will stay here again Mark is the real MVP Breakfast was ok I don’t eat pork and they only had pork sausage I wish they had chicken or turkey sausage as an option I had eggs and I ate some of the waffle the muffin was good and the OJ was great it wasn’t a bad breakfast it just could of had more options but I was satisfied it came with the stay
- leotX8229UE (10/5): Best of the best - We have stayed at Hampton Inns from Wis. to Maine in the last two weeks, and while all of them were very good, the one in Wheeling, WV was outstanding. From the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff to the great breakfast and the complimentary dinner on Mondays until 7:00 pm, this place went out of the way to make guests feel welcome! We highly recommend it.

When I arrived at the hotel, they didn’t have my reservation. I showed them my itinerary but they never got it. Good thing Mark was there. He still gave me a room and I was able to spend time with my son who is a new resident at Bethany. I don’t think I will be using the third party again. That was a long drive to not have the accommodations I thought I paid the extra $9 for to secure my reservation.

The room above us was very loud late into the night and several people roaming the halls late slamming doors. There was some cheer competition going on. Very disruptive to others at the hotel.

- johngA8626OT (6/5): We Love the Hampton Inn Facilities; this one was a disappointment - We are loyal-happy customers of the Hampton Inn facilities. Typically, after check out we receive a survey regarding our stay. This Hampton Inn & Suites Wheeling, West Virginia-The Highlands did not ask for feedback. Good news- The staff as usual is very professional, courteous and helpful. Not so good news- this facility, even though shows wear-age.. {but doesn't have to reflect neglect}, did not meet the consistent level of facility upkeep. At first I thought it might not really be a Hampton Inn given the lack of detail to repair and specific housekeeping. This hotel which is just off the exit where Cabella is located from I-70 before Wheeling West Virginia is close to many good eateries/restaurants. And it's nice to have a Wal-Mart almost directly behind the property. Am not usually critical --- but this was a disappointment.

- eileenk94 (10/5): Outstanding - During our drive home from New York to Illinois we frequently stop overnight in Washington, PA. Since some of our Washington choices have needed renovations, I explored other options and chose the Triadelphia Hampton Inn & Suites—less than 30 miles from Washington, PA, and a little closer to home. The receptionist at check-in was friendly and helpful. Since this was our first visit, she upgraded us to a King suite. This was one of the nicest and cleanest Hampton Inns we’ve stayed in. Our suite was comfortable and perfect for our needs. The quality and freshness of the food at the breakfast buffet was better than other similar hotel stays. Highly recommend!

- Amelia (5/5): Good location but they need to keep their prices the same and not gouge - Breakfast and personal hygiene care was good Prices were hiked up over a tournament weekend. $350 for 2 nights in a room that normal is under $100. It’s honestly really sad that business like this take advantage of families who travel to make their kids dreams a reality.

- Stacy (4/5): - Really surprised ! It’s very clear it’s not being kept up . The bathroom Sink kept clogging , the shower pressure was terrible , housekeeping didn’t refill many of the materials for the room. Going to have to think twice before staying there again
