- Caitlyn (2/5): Won’t stay here again. - Location was easy to find, that was about it. We booked a double queen bed room and was given a single king bed for 4 ppl. Staff told us they didn’t have any double beds. No offer of a refund to the room price or anything. Had to ask for towels at the pool which not to mention had EVERYONE coughing up a lung because of the amount of chlorine in the pool. Our room had dust everywhere and no towels in the bathroom.

- Tiffany0099 (2/5): Would not recommend - We have stayed here many times but it has been going downhill the past couple of years. During our most recent stay, I completed online check-in in advance and selected Room 322. Upon arrival, however, I was assigned Room 325 instead, which was not the room I had chosen. Unfortunately, the digital key did not work. I returned to the front desk, explained the issue, and requested a physical key. After going back upstairs, I found that the physical key also did not work either. I had to return to the front desk a second time, where the staff member reprogrammed the key. Once we were finally able to access the room, we discovered it had one king bed, despite my reservation being for two queen beds. There were three people in our party, so this was not appropriate for our needs. I was informed that the hotel was sold out and adjustments had been made to accommodate all guests. The staff member did bring a rollaway bed for our third guest, which was appreciated. While she was in the room, I pointed out that the main bathroom light above the mirror was not working. I was told there was no maintenance staff available until 8:00 a.m. the following morning, so the issue could not be resolved that evening. My husband even offered to replace the bulb himself, but we were told the bulbs were kept in a locked maintenance room that was not accessible. I needed to get ready at 5:30 a.m., so the lack of proper bathroom lighting was a significant inconvenience. The staff member offered to place a lamp in the bathroom, which is what we had to use. To top it off, we also noticed an ant crawling on the desk in the room and there was a spider in the shower! And, my digital key never did work. Overall, while the staff attempted to provide temporary solutions, the number of issues encountered—from the incorrect room assignment and key access problems to the room type discrepancy and maintenance concerns—made for a frustrating experience. I do want to note that the front desk associate acknowledged the inconvenience and stated that 2,500 Hilton Honors points would be added to my account, which I appreciate. However, given the number and nature of the issues encountered during our stay, I do not feel that this fully reflects the level of disruption to our experience. I would appreciate a follow-up and consideration of additional resolution.

Many people are allergic, they are dirty and carrry diseases. Please please please don’t allow them in the dining area, sitting in the chairs at the tables! So unsanitary. At least have a wing for dogs/pets only. Dogs are animals, NOT a family member.

- bleum00n812 (4/5): Weird fluids - Pros: The breakfast was great. The beds were very comfortable. Cons: We were on the highway side and traffic was loud all night. The room was warm and the AC was sporadic. There was a weird reddish brown dripping of something on the light switch in the bathroom and the TV had a dried white stain that looked like spit but Im pretty sure was another bodily fluid. I also kept smelling smoke so I dont know if it was lingering from a previous guest or if a neighboring room was smoking. We had no issues in parking, but I could see one of the spots had a lot of broken car window glass. This generally means a car got broken into. There were also heroin needles in the parking lot near our car that were not there when we got there the previous night. Overall: It worked for the night but I wish I had brought clorox wipes and spray!!

- Compass652011 (2/5): Don’t stay here-unhealthy and unsanitary - I don’t normally leave reviews, but some things are just not right! Something has happened at this hotel since last fall. Used to be a great hotel, but it has taken a MAJOR downturn. It should honestly not be in operation due to its unhealthy/unsanitary condition. Chair in hall by lobby had multiple stains including blood stains on cushion. Room was extremely musty. Carpet in room was stained and damp. We were told their carpet and tile floors get “wet from hvac issues.” Curtains in room had multiple brown stains at least partially due to water/condensation. Bathroom wall had water stains. Furniture was old and chipped up. Upholstered chair in room was dirty and snagged up, too nasty to sit on. This hotel was so nasty we were afraid to eat breakfast there and ate elsewhere. Asked to speak to manager. Was told they weren’t there. Was asked to leave my number and mgr would call. No call. Called next day, was told same thing. Called Hilton Honors. Was told to wait two days. No call so called them back. Was told to wait one more day for mgr to respond. At this point I just want a refund and for this hotel to be cleaned up. Terrible disregard is being shown toward guests.

Our comforter was dirty in multiple places. The room had a funky smell to it when we arrived due to the air conditioning. Also, the key card machine was not working for most of our stay, so we had to ask a staff to let us up to our room each time.

There was no consideration given (we were told that the manager said no discounts, either we let you into your room or cancel your reservation). It was 10:00pm so canceling was not an option. The receptionist let us into our room, after that one of us needed to stay in the room to open the door. Bed was comfortable. A/C was older & very loud. Bath room was not cleaned well (hairs & dirt on the toilet), toilet paper was left almost empty, the tissues were left empty. Common areas were nice, breakfast was a nice mix of food, well presented & tasted good.

- Amy (2/5): Not the Hampton Inn experience I’m used to. - I booked a handicapped accessible room and when I arrived to check in, they had given the room to someone else, so we had to take a standard room that was much more difficult to navigate with a wheelchair. Also, the key card machine was not working, so we couldn’t get into our room without the front desk staff letting us in. The humidity in the room was super high. The sheets felt damp when we got into bed. Not great for falling asleep. The next morning I went to get eggs and the pan sat empty for quite some time. I asked the staff person if there were more eggs coming soon and she said they were cooking. She disappeared and a few more minutes later came back out and saw me waiting and said that it would be at least 10 more minutes before they were ready. So the breakfast experience was not super great either. Definitely won’t be staying here again.

A wall panel in elevator was falling off. Room entryway ceiling light rattles when guests above our room walk/bounced around. Double queen room- no bugs detected! Thank goodness… and trust me- I looked very hard in every nook and cranny. However, one of the beds in our room showed signs of previous infestation on the box spring cover. If you’ve ever seen what that looks like then you know when you see it. Would recommend trashing that cover and replacing with new one. We didn’t use the pool, but did see others enjoying it. Breakfast- We went down for breakfast at 8:45. Only saw one person manning the kitchen so I won’t fault the employee for not being able to keep up with items that need replacing. I did observe that employee trying/doing their best. I’m sure it’s not easy by yourself. Adding another person would help keep things stocked and tables clean for guests to have a good breakfast. That employee and desk employees were all very helpful and friendly. There is a police department about 2 blocks down the street and a hospital less than a mile down the side road which was nice to see in case of an emergency.

One thing that really pleasantly surprised me is that they had the room air conditioning already on and the room was nice and cool when I got there. I don't remember when the last time a hotel did that automatically. Maybe a small detail in some people's minds, but it really impressed me right as I walked in the room.
- amysB2825QK (2/5): No compassion! Stay somewhere else. - We stay at this particular Hampton once a month while my husband receives his stage four cancer treatments. We have done this once a month for the past 20 months. On this particular occasion, it was our first stop in a 10 Day Rd. trip cross country to visit family. Every night in a different Hampton Inn across the East Coast. My husband‘s position contacted us at eight in the morning on July 1 the day of our arrival to let us know that there had been a change in venue for this particular treatment. I immediately called Hilton customer service and was assured that it would be no problem to change locations of our stay. When the representative contacted the manager at the Belton Hampton, they refused to refund our money. I myself tried to reach out to the manager to talk for different times afterwards and was told she was not available or she had already left for the day. Finally at 3 PM at the front desk associate told me they would reach out to the manager, one more time to try and remedy this for us. She didn’t call back so I called her at 5:30 again. She said the manager was in a meeting until 6 PM and then we would get a call. It is now 7:50 PM. I just got off the phone with the front desk associate who again spoke to the manager and refused to refund our money. I am a happy Hilton honors member and always stay at Hampton’s Inn for pleasure and work. This particular location will never be on the list again and I hope my review makes some of you think twice about staying there too.

- Milan (8/5): Nice stay - Spacious room with a firm bed. Good breakfast including egg omelet roll ups, potatoes, and meat.
- Kevin (2/5): Canceled room - After a long day of travel. We arrived at 2am to find out that the hotel cancel our non refundable room. They then blamed it on the third-party booking. Hotels.com did try their best to find another hotel but with snort notice could not find a a decent hotel.

- MargaretS185 (4/5): Recommend you try a newer hotel for the price. - We came here for a birthday weekend to get away and to spend the weekend swimming. After we checked in we found the health department had closed the pool and it had been drained. We know Hampton Inn has a 100% guarantee so went to ask what could be done since the pool was a major factor in our decision to stay here. While the lady at the front was nice, she needed the manager to handle this and told me the manager would call our room shortly. After a couple of hours, we went back to the desk where we were told there was no reimbursement or refund they would authorize. The manager was back in the office but never came out. The lady at the desk would go talk to her and then come tell us. Evidently the Hampton Inn 100% guarantee doesn't mean much. The hotel itself is definitely showing its age, and it's clear that upkeep is needed. The furniture looks very saggy, and the American flag on the flagpole (tattered and broken) is in terrible condition. Usually you know Hampton Inn means you'll be in a nice enough place but this one doesn't really hold to that image. For the money we paid we were really expecting more.

- S3911XZalanm (4/5): Keep looking - Unless you're desperate for a place to stay, look elsewhere. I thought this would be comparable to other Hampton Inns I have stayed at, however. ... Staff speaks very little English. Indoor pool was like ice and unusable. Noisy location. Mediocre breakfast. Horrible coffee (room coffee reminded me of sock water, the lobby coffee wasn't any better). Rooms smelled musty; you can't open the window even a little for fresh air. No apologies or compensation for any short comings. Will not be staying there on my future trips to that area.
