• LaurenM729811 (6/5): A Disappointing Stay Despite Cleanliness - My stay was disappointing overall. The hotel is under renovation—something that wasn’t disclosed at the time of booking—and it affected the entire experience. While the room was clean, it smelled strongly of paint and was incredibly noisy throughout my stay. The hot water was also a major issue; it took about 15 minutes for the shower to reach an appropriate temperature. When I called the front desk, they said the boilers were working fine but offered no further explanation. On top of that, the fitness center was closed without any prior notification, which was especially frustrating since it was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. Although the staff were polite, the overall stay fell well short of expectations.

• KacyPete (10/5): Cleanest hotel ever with kind staff. - I have worked the front desk in hotels for 9 years and this was the cleanest hotel I’ve ever seen! Beverly was so kind to us. The breakfast was great, the water was hot and the pressure was awesome. Highly recommend. They are also renovating. Once they finish that, it’s gonna be perfect. Don’t let the renovation stop you from staying. They are doing a wonderful job. They are kind and most importantly CLEAN! Thank you so much for an easy and enjoyable stay.

• SarahMiller73 (6/5): Ok - The pool was closed for maintenance our entire stay, but no one was ever working on it. It was a bit green, but could have easily been treated. We stayed in room 220 and the sink was stopped up, so it filled with water each time we brushed our teeth. The sign said they would replace towels, take out trash, and make beds every two days, but they only dropped off towels without doing the other things of taking the dirty ones with them. The desk staff were friendly, but the breakfast lady never smiled. Also we needed meds for my daughter’s stomach ache but they only carried headache medication. Also they do have both types of EV chargers, which is very nice.

The breakfast was good especially the omelets. There was a choice of waffle mix to create waffles. We would definitely be staying again if traveling that way.
• TTice (10/5): Family Vacation - We were traveling to Miramar Beach Fl and stopped at the Hampton Inn for the night. We’ve stayed there before and had a very good experience. The rooms were nice, quiet and comfortable. The following morning we went down for the complimentary breakfast which was very good. Just what we needed to start the day. Overall it was another good experience as expected!

We have to say this was one of our best experiences! The staff were absolutely amazing. They were extremely friendly, professional, helpful and so very joyful. We were there for a week. Every single one of them from the general manager to the facilities manager to those preparing the breakfast were very kind and courteous as well. The facility and our room were exceptionally clean and well maintained. The free breakfast was always hot, tasty, well presented and continually maintained. There are many restaurants in the area to choose from as well. We really had a great time staying there. Added note: We understand they will be going through a remodel in the very near future which sort of surprised us. The reason being it is so well taken care of we were surprised, however they want to update things. Obviously, they care about us travelers! 😀

My first impression ….the front desk employee was not friendly or welcoming, perhaps having a bad day. Coffee station was available. There were people ar the pool. Restaurants nearby.

• bagsfam (4/5): Stay Somewhere Else! Plenty of Other Choices! - We stay in Hampton Inns regularly. They are usually consistent in their service and quality. However, this particular location has us questioning our choices for the future. We did digital check-in and went straight to our room. When we were entering the room, a dog started barking from across the hall. Had we known this was a pet friendly hotel, we would have opted to stay elsewhere. We called the front desk to only be told that they would do what they could because they were alone and just too busy at the moment. The clerk continued to share how busy it was and that the check-in’s have been constant all night. However, the dog kept barking for the next hour until we fell asleep after turning on our phones to play sound so we could block out the noise. In the morning, we went for the breakfast and were disappointed tremendously when everything was picked over or just empty. No eggs, sausage, milk, bread. You could make a waffle or have pineapple. Apparently the hostess had been asked about the status multiple times because she sighed and responded to another guest that she’s working on it and can’t make the oven work any faster.

I was very disappointed that I could not even request a floor level for our stay. We are handicapped and put on the 4th floor! The breakfast was not good at all and the room was ok. Beds were not comfortable at all.

Easy off and on to I-65 and numerous eating options nearby. The sitting area and breakfast area were the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The only problem, which obviously the hotel could not control, was that the people in the room above me were very noisy. They woke me up at 5 o’clock in the morning. It was noise from their movements and constantly stomping around above me. Only the noise from the people above me.

• Jeffrey (6/5): Comfortable room and good service, but . . . - Based on prior stays, which were admittedly years ago, my expectation was that the Hampton Inn would be step or two above Choice Hotels Comfort Inn, which we have frequented most recently. We had a nice, comfortable stay, don’t get me wrong, but with older furnishings, lack of USB hubs, and a breakfast that is on par with Comfort Inns, we were disappointed for what we paid, which was significantly more than a Comfort Inn.
