Guest Reviews
- Miharu (4/5): 価格のみが魅力です - 残念ながら、部屋のレベルはかなり低いです。
価格に満足し、時間が短いならばいいと思います。
スタッフは親切でした。
- Verified traveler (6/5): 空港近く - 空港から、または空港までのワンステップとして利用するのに最適。
コロナ禍で消えてしまったマラソン大会の復活があるとよい。
- Victor (10/5): - The boutique hotel next door offers breakfast for 150 thb. Walking distance to O-Zone where food and drinks are available in the evening.
- 451moem (10/5): Couldn’t have found a more Convenient Spot - I stayed here for 5 days. It was very cheap & had no fees or anything. They had token the best care of me. The room was really nice & clean. The area was convenient also easy rides to the airport. They had ATMs & Convenience Stores its whole area to.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Road construction - The main street was having a major construction, and it made crossing to the other side very difficult and dangerous.
It's none of the hotel's responsibilities, of course.
At Grand Pinnacle, everyone was as friendly as ever.
- belgianguy1 (10/5): Budget airport hotel - This is a very good budget option near the airport, the price is low but you get a well equipped and clean room with wifi, fridge, flatscreen, private bathroom...the location is quiet as it's off the main road...lots of food options in the area
- Nunthida (4/5): - Bad smell and noise
- Mobile17809207800 (10/5): Basic hotel, but amazing staff - Amazing friendly staff, close to the airport and you have food stalls, 2 711 and lotus store within 100m of the location. It is far from the city and most attractions and markets but you can catch a bike to Lat Brabant Airport Link for as little as 30000thb. Basic room, with basic amenities and nothing to flash, the AC did save as some nights were muggy. Side note: I had to work during the trip and the WIFI was amazingly quick with no issues.
- Schnoox (8/5): Fantastic Value For Money! - Ideally situated for BKK airport which is just a 10 minute cab ride away, this hotel is perfect if you're looking for a cheap base for a day or so.
Rooms are large, WiFi is great, aircon does the job, tea and toast for breakfast is nice, staff are friendly. It's basic, but at £10 a night what more could you ask for? Would gladly stay here again when making an overnight stop in Bangkok!
- Kim (8/5): - In this particular case; “You get what you pay fore”.
Worn, outdated but immensely clean. Best priced.
- alistair2 (8/5): cheap and convieient - I have used the hotel a few times one of the cheapest near the airport. Nothing to write home about but for the price perfectly acceptable. Note 25thMarch 2022 that the hotel is pinned in the wrong place on the Trip advisor site here (not very clever as a long way wrong and far to far to walk with luggage or even in the heat and humidity. Easy to find food and drink nearby and you can if you want use local transport to and from the airport van 549 from memory. My last say was in 2020 but could not enter that
- Verified traveler (6/5): - För hårda sängar och kuddar .
Smutsig och ofräch toalett
- Verified traveler (8/5): Mosquitos again! - They kept me awake in the night.
Otherwise, it was a nice stay.
- Drew (8/5): nice hotel - good hotel near airport
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff was amazing! We got in around 4 am and we were greeted outside! He grabbed all of our luggage ... carried it up 4 flights and turned the AC on in the room. It was very nice, clean and friendly. Would recommend 😄
- KCT1992 (8/5): Good location, large rooms - Before an early flight the next morning I arrived to Suvarnabhumi airport in the evening by bus. I was unable to find the hotel staff following their instructions in the e-mail, so I called them and they send their representative to meet me for the shuttle service.
The room was very big, but could only be reached by stairs. It was clean enough, only the bathroom was a little smelly and cramped.
As I had to leave early I did not try their breakfast. The shuttle service back was fast and convenient. I would recommend this hotel for a one night stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Close to airport, friendly staff and next to 7-11 shop
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Cose to airport, inexpensive, good service...not in the best area but ok
- Jackie (10/5): Nice little hotel - Great price and close to airport. Food and 7-11 close by. Had early flight and this little hotel was perfect as they have hourly airport shuttle from hotel. Friendly staff. I will stay here again the next time I have an early flight.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This property was nothing like advertised and I did not feel safe to stay. I had to find and book another hotel. I tried Expedia on a recommendation from a friend but I will like just use Travelocity in the future.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall a pleasant stay rooms were clean and aircon made it pleasant to sleep
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel that met our needs for an overnight stay before flying home. Friendly staff and free shuttle service to BKK!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good value. Clean, comfortable, efficient, and very inexpensive.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Simple room next to the airport, only good for the night before leaving. Just what we needed and there are a few restaurants on the street.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Itchy night - The stay was for Lat Krabang Marathon, and this hotel was close enough, with a lot of eating places in between. We heard some mosquitos during the night, and also got a little itchy from bug bites. I recommend not to expose your bare skin when you go to bed.
- Kim (6/5): Close to the Airport, quite convenient - It was great with the airport transfer , not far from Suvannabhumi Airport..quite comfortable for a short stay overall it was worth the money
- Kim (8/5): Not bad location for transiting flight - It was okay for short stay near the Suvannabhumi Airport, great value for price, there are plenty of shops, restaurants and massage parlour nearby as well. Hourly shuttle service to the airport.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A goo value for money stay, staff very friendly with a good command of English language.
- Frequent flyer (8/5): Perfect for layovers - very convenient if you need a place to stay while you wait for a next day flight, a private car take you back forth to the BBK airport even if your flight is from DMK you can take a free shuttle from BKK , coffee , water, orange juice and toast are a good complimentary service
- jd (8/5): Good hotel close to airport and facilities - Just what we wanted good price clean and friendly good location
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We just needed this room to sleep for a couple of hours in between flights. Very close to the airport and we used the free shuttle from the hotel to the airport. Check in was very easy and quick, even at 2am.
- Martin (8/5): Good stopover - Good location for an airport stopover. Good airport pickup and drop off. Hotel a bit dated but did the job.
- wolf (10/5): - Nice hotel to stay close to airport in low budget. The staff was very nice and rooms were ckean. I wiuld recommend that.
- Verified traveler (6/5): One day stay place that was close to the Airport - I needed to stay one night. I found this hotel very quickly on Expedia. It was a great price for one night. It is a simple place. It is situated close to the Airport but far away from everything that you want to visit in Bangkok. However, I did see the real Bangkok away from the Tourist areas. The accommodation itself is satisfactory for a short stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. The wi-fi connection was good for a low budget type place.
- Phasakorn (10/5): Nice place for transit - Lovely place for transit close to airport easy find a food, worthed with the price
- Scott (8/5): Close to airport but little dated but reasonable - They try but older hotel that needs updating but employees do a good job with what they have.
- MadmanAdventure (10/5): Pit Stop In Bangkok - This hotel is located near the International Airport, price is reasonable, room is clean, wifi is fast enough and staff are very friendly and helpful too. Rooms are clean and very decent too. It is very convenient to locate food nearby. I have no qualms of staying here again whenever I am in Bangkok.
- Kat (8/5): Convenient - Convenient stores and foods are all near. Nice reception and shuttle drive.
- fvmm2017 (10/5): Excellent stop in Bangkok - Close to the Airport which is very convenient (8 minutes by tuktuk). A little far from Bangkok central but near large flyover with many taxis. The room we stayed in was better than expected and at a very low 28 USD for three. I I were to stay in Bangkok again this would be my second choice after the Ayapura in Central Bangkok.
- Jeffrey (6/5): Convenient - At the end of over a twenty four hour trip from the US and arriving past midnight, this place did the job. Close to the airport and in the morning I took the Metro into the Cityfrom there. Good choice.
- am (2/5): Stay away - Overall not worth even the discounted price. May be ok for someone who wants to crash overnight for cheap and spend whole day outside. Washroom terrible with no separate shower area, crowded, no place to hang towel, toilet could use proper cleaning, air conditioner cannot be adjusted below 23 Celsius. Closet broken and very smelly. Bed with stiff mattress, small tube TV with broken remote, the list goes on.
- amam999 (2/5): you get what you pay for, or less. - nice thing is it is close to the airport and there is free shuttle. from airport, its not clear how to get shuttle as I messaged the hotel and there was no reply. I went to tourist help centre at the airport and had them call the hotel to get a car. it took some time. may be the hotel needs to make this more clear to guests.
Hotel is outdated and room as well. AC only works if temp kept at 23. It is warm a bit so uncomfortable sleep. Bed a bit hard also. washroom, toilet dirty, shower area squeezed with toilet, broken towel rail so no where to hang clothing or towel, no bedside table, closet very smelly and broken. so I kept my clothes in the bag. TV very old but I don't really watch TV.
Basically if you only wanted a place to sleep and did not mind the above then this may be ok. If you are picky or want something clean, stay away.
I will never stay there again.
staff relatively nice.
- rachsully11 (8/5): Overall great deal - Came in late from a flight and it was really close to the airport, stayed two nights just to chill before leaving Bangkok. Front desk was nice and informative. Easy and fast to walk to coffee and restaurants. Overall worth it
- MarkLaurel (6/5): Hotel Near Airport - If you need a place to basically sleep because you will be out sightseeing most of the time and relatively inexpensive then this will fit the bill. The rooms were clean and my bed was comfortable. The people at the front desk were efficient and pleasant. The hotel is on the outskirts of town so need to take a cab or subway to get to where most of the tourist stuff is, but those are inexpensive so not an issue.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel close to the airport - Stayed here because our flight landed in Bangkok at 2am. The hotel room was fairly clean and the staff was extremely helpful. Although this area is far away from the heart of Bangkok and the tourist hotspots, it gives you a good feel for how the locals in Bangkok actually live. I would recommend staying here if you have a late arriving flight or early departure from Bangkok.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Just a room - I've stayed here before, it's nothing special, but this time the internal night latch on my room door was missing, the wi-fi connection was almost non existant & the worn out A/C unit was very noisy & not very cool...
- Verified traveler (4/5): The Name is Sarcastic "Grand" it is not... - We got to the hotel (is more like a Motel/Hostel than a Hotel) late and the staff couldn't find the reservation and it took several times to get it straighten out; had to paid an extra 300TBH because the reservation only said 1 person. The room is just that a Room and 2 beds plain and simple, but if you are just there to get some sleep close to the airport then is okay.
- L (10/5): Great overnight stay before flight - We stayed at Grand Pinnacle after travelling around Thailand for a few weeks, the night before we set off back to the UK. For an overnight stay close to the airport it was perfect. Nearby restaurants, clean but best of all - the staff were amazing. They got up early to provide us with breakfast before leaving for the airport. Lift to the airport included in price. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
- Andrew (8/5): - A nice, comfortable room to lay my head after a long day of travel. The staff were all very friendly and amazingly helpful with advice and arranging transport that could accommodate the large bike box and take me to my hostel on the other side of town.
Negative - I called hotel from NZ to check the shuttle service and request a van due to size of bike box but they still sent a car which meant a lot of mucking around at airport trying to get my gear in the backseat. Breakfast was simply coffee and toast.
- Peter Bates (6/5): Cheap stayover near airport - I had an overnight stay between flights and needed somewhere close to airport. The hotel had a pickup service from airport which was great----maybe 10/15 mins. drive. Hotel is not on main road but a short way up a soi. Friendly ,efficient check-in and basic room OK for the price. Bed comfortable and linen clean.Aircon good. Serve yourself juice ,tea/coffee and toast for breakfast suited me fine. If you want luxury try somewhere else but for a cheap night sleepover this will do.
- 404christoff (2/5): Not worth it even for one night - Decrepit rooms, a tv from the 90s, mattress you can feel the springs, dark lighting and a lightbulb missing, unsatisfactory air conditioner, filthy walls, ants everywhere (although I've noticed that even in nice new condos so I don't think it's necessarily their fault), no basic necessities such as a hair dryer. We will be heading to the airport early since it's preferable to hanging out in this dingy dump. We had an agoda credit and figured how bad could it be..you get what you pay for. Staff was nice at least
- Pearl (8/5): Close to Suvarnabhumi Airport - Close to the airport and exactly what I needed after a long flight. This is a 3-star hotel so there were no frills or outstanding things really, other than the staff. The room and shower were clean, the AC worked, and bed was fairly comfy. The staff speaks some pretty good English and were very helpful. They called around and found me a bus to my town and even helped with a cab to the bus station after that. So friendly and accommodating!
- anonymousQ7424KD (2/5): Worst experience - I spent over $100 on this room, and ended up staying from 10 am to 2 pm. I was overcharged for early check in and the taxi to/from the airport, after I was told it was free. There was no functioning shower and there was no hot water at all. The "breakfast" was stale, and limited, and there was no working air conditioning, not to mention ants in my bed I will never return to Thailand or to this hotel. Thank you for the worst experience I have ever had.
- Huw (6/5): So so - Nothing special but convenient for the airport
- dborah89 (10/5): Excellent service in lowest price - We visited Bangkok and Pattaya during January, 2016. We found this hotel a very nice place to stay at cheap price. Local markets are in walking distance and a lots of local restaurants are nearby. A multipurpose store called 7-Eleven is at distance of 30 meters from the hotel where one can buy all necessary items for regular use including food items. Breakfast and wifi are complementary. It takes only 10-15 min from airport to reach the hotel. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a very nice experience staying in this hotel and I shall love to stay here if I visit Thailand once again.
- Sarah_Gibson451 (8/5): Good for a quick stay over - Upon arriving very late in Bangkok, this was a good place to rest our heads. Nothing fancy or flashy, but a decent bed to sleep on and rest up before we went on our way with the rest of our travels. The manager was helpful in helping is figure out how to get to Pattaya for the next part of our trip.
- Calvin S (6/5): - Near airport
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Could not sleep well at night because bed linens were dirty. So is the towels.
- Sivanathan (6/5): Cheepes reshouse - This is not hotel rather as like juthheim. And tolet paper cheepes.
When take bath shwer littel water come low.
Air condicion mesion is night to laut and can't seep, as like aldmodel motorbike.
- amescal35 (8/5): 2 night stay in Bangkok - you get what you pay for! - We stayed here for 2 nights - spending minimal time here and purely for a short rest and sleep.
The room is very basic but gives you everything you need - a king size bed (very hard but I found it very comfortable!) wardrobe, dressing table, large fridge stacked with very cheap snacks and drinks and a TV (however all channels are Thai).
Bathroom is a large wet room - shower is very basic and slow but does the job!
I found the staff to be very lovely and helpful, especially as we could
not get the two spare plug sockets nearest the door to work, contacted reception and they provided us with a UK extension lead - perfect! So make sure you ask.
Beware of cockroaches in rainy season! We were greeted by a little
visitor in the bathroom upon returning to our room after a long day out and, being two girls, we were too scared to face it alone! Contacted reception again and a lovely member of staff came and killed it and cleaned it away with the shower! We then covered up all plug holes to stop any more coming in.
Free breakfast of toast, coffee and juice each morning 6 - 10 which was just what we needed.
For £20 a night you can't complain!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Close to airport basic facilities restaurants near - The night manager and daytime staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English well enough. The hotel is pretty basic, the room was comfortable enough but not luxury by any means. There are a lot of restaurants on nearby main street that stay open late - local food but good quality and many have live music. Felt quite safe and friendly.
The night manager was very nice, a bit not sure if I made a reservation at first but quickly figured it out and the daytime staff was helpful in arranging for transportation - I didn't use their shuttle service at all so can't comment on that.
The room itself was on the small side, older style TV, bed was Asian style so on the harder side which is something I have come to get used to. Bathroom small but had everything necessary. Sheets could have been updated but not to the point felt uncomfortable using them.
- AmaKong (6/5): Good location but bad service. - Dont get tricked by the pictures. The room is not as good at it. What i dont like the most is the staff attitude. They are like " we dont care". I would put a better rating if I was happy with the service.
However, the location is quite ok. It is closed to the airport and very convenience if you need to take the early flight.
So your choice!!!!!
- floppyboot (6/5): Good short-stayer - My Wife & I stayed here overnight on 1st to 2nd of January, 2015.
This Hotel is fairly close to the International Airport, which suited us as we were in transit from Australia to Laos.
There are, or can be, long lines for a Taxi at the Airport and so getting to the Hotel took less time than waiting in line for the actual vehicle.
The Driver was a nice Lady but we yet again fell for the 'newbie' trap, i.e. Driver asks you if you have been to Bangkok before (We say 'yes, but many years ago); Driver then figures, correctly, that you have little or no clue of where you are being taken or how much it should cost; Nice Driver then charges you roughly twice the correct rate.
We paid 300 baht to get to the Hotel but 150 baht to return to the Airport after we had checked what it should cost with the Hotel staff. Oh well.
In any event the Hotel is clean, staff are polite always, room was big enough, shower OK by S.E. Asia standards (i.e. not enough "flow" compared to Home), Breakfast of good coffee, toast & jam and sausage with two eggs was nice (included in room price in our case).
The AC obviously worked - I pushed the wrong button on the remote in the middle of the night and next morning the Head Unit rattled until it spat out two pieces of ice! Temperature set a bit too low perhaps.
Not bad at all - give the Grand Pinnacle a go.
- Matt (6/5): Convenient for the airport. Not for much else. - Hotel was fine, although the pictures do oversell it. It is close to the airport, so it is perfect for a late arrival or early departure. However it is very far outside Bangkok so I would not recommend using this hotel for anything except a quick place to sleep before/after a flight.
- seamillfarmcom (8/5): From now on.....my last stop in Bangkok - Many times we have been to Bangkok and many times have an early morning flight. In the past on my last morning in Bangkok I would start my morning with an argument with a taxi trying to over charge me.No more. I had a very pleasant stay for a nice price. The room was clean the wake up call was on time the shuttle to airport was less than 10 minutes. Its not the Ritz Carlton but its a clean place to stay.will be back...
- Verified traveler (6/5): Rude receptionist - Rude receptionist. I think they should hire someone else to do her job and the internet is poor there. They lied saying someone is on their way to fix it but actually their wifi is bad.
- anneepl (6/5): Okay place to stay - The hotel itself was good, but the service was average at best. When the hotel's shuttle picked me up at the airport they managed to leave one of my bags. After a scary 45 minutes I found myself back at the airport and luckily the bag was found. When I arrived at the hotel to check in they actually expected me to pay for the shuttle after that. So, the hotel itself is in fine condition, convenient to the new airport, but the service is not up to the same standard.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good for cheap BKK airport o/night - get the transfers offered - there are some great lively eating spots on the main strip outside the hotel - you may need earplugs re aircraft noise
- Vespe (6/5): Grand Pinnacle is everything but Grand! - When we booked the Grand Pinnacle, we were not expecting anything exceptional, as we just wanted to be at a stone throw from the airport for our early morning flight, but even so...The room is extremely basic, neon lighted. The Painting over the bed displayed on their pictures is just a wall paper glued on the wall and a frame nailed around it. The bed is painfully reminding you of each and every of its springs during the night. On the good side, we were not bothered by the noise of landing planes and reception guys are nice.
