• Genoveva (9/5): - No desayunamos salíamos rápido el hotel no tiene un letrero afuera muy complicado para saber su ubicación y no se puede parar uno por la circulación de los carros en la esquina poner un letrero con el hombre del hotel dimos varias vueltas hasta que un señor nos llevó al hotel buen vivo estábamos en el hotel lo subí a mi carro nomas para dar toda la vuelta y regresar al mismo lugar que lo subí y me dilo donde estacionarme pero eso fue lo malo no poder bajarme y ver el hotel pero todo bien gracias En la esquina poner una flecha para anunciar el hotel y no dejarme engañar como la persona que subí me hubiera señalado con la mano ai está el hotel y todavía me quería cobrar por enseñarme donde estaba el hotel pero todo bien gracias le gustó a me esposa

Es mejor un hotel de la periferia y tomar taxi al centro. - Ubicación del Hotel Que el ESTACIONAMIENTO esta a 25 minutos el AUTO del hotel y el hotel no dispone de transporte hacia el estacionamiento ni del estacionamiento hacia el hotel. Es por cuenta del usuario. No tienen valet parking y no hay acceso al hotel con auto, es caminando y uno tiene que cargar sus maletas, no hay personal de ayuda.

• Diana Michelle (10/5): Una estancia relajante, divertida y llena de cultura. - La ubicación es inmejorable, las instalaciones súper limpias y el personal es amable y en lo personal me ayudaron a encontrar tours para mejorar mi experiencia en Guanajuato. Cabe mencionar que el agua de la alberca estaba deliciosa. Aunque no cuentan con estacionamiento dentro del hotel, cuentan con uno a un par de kilómetros no muy lejos del establecimiento y de cualquier manera no necesitas auto dentro de Guanajuato. La cama me parece que estaba un poco dura, pero sé que puede ser un simple gusto personal.

• Hernandez (5/5): Wasn’t impressed and won’t be staying there ever again - Great location We expected more for that price. The bed sheets looked dirty, wifi sucked, the TV didn’t really work. We got the room with balcony and the view sucked. We asked the staff how far the airport was and everyone gave us different answer, one of them said it was an hour and a half away when it was only 20 mins away. We asked in advance for a personal driver to the airport and he arrived half an hour late. Breakfast was not included with that price. The water was cold in the jacuzzi. Not a great experience

• Katherine (6/5): 3 star hotel - Location This is a 3 +star hotel not 5 stars as described. Room does not have good sound insulation and could hear outside traffic. Curtains is not black out curtain, bath robe is old and worn. We were told not to take lift during thunderstorms . We booked a deluxe king suite room but was given a king room and have to go to front desk to changed room. Front desk staff “E” asked for payment when it has been paid to Booking.

• Jesse (5/5): Convenient but over priced. - Location was great and it was comfortable. Price I’m as too high compared to other hotels around the Jardín de la Union. Also, the faucet would shoot out too much water which would splash on everything around the sink. If faucet was not open all the way then the pressure would turn it off. Similar thing with the shower head. It would be too strong and it would leak out onto the rest of the bathroom flooding it. The toilet would not flush at times.
• Jose (10/5): The most amazing hotel I ever stayed in. Wish i could get a night for free with my wife and kids - I love that all staff was extremely nice, helpful, respectful and very knowledgeable. I love that the hotel was right in the center of Guanajuato I didn't like I had to leave to soon

• David (10/5): - Top choice to stay in Guanajuato City, GTO! The Edelmira was clean, updated, centrally located and with a fabulous breakfast and meal mid and evening meal options. The center of everything “touristy” takes place just outside the doors of this hotel. The staff was responsive, checkin/out was effortless, Overall, I highly recommend the Edelmira for a stay in Guanajuato City.

Nothing. Now I'm having a problem with my company paid business trip because of this hotel. Been waiting a month and counting for my invoice to be sent to my email. How is this difficult???

Martin makes the whole trip worth it , very nice gentleman . They have a wonderful indoor pool and jacuzzi . The room was spacious , clean and very comfortable and private . The bathroom was big and clean , loved that you get hot water right away . The whole place is worth every penny . From the housekeeper to the receptionist. Nothing . The place is amazing !

The room AC is very weak and not able to cool the temperature down for hours. This is definitely not an upscale boutique hotel and is not worth the price they charge.

• EstherP1882 (8/5): Friendly hotel in a great location - I had room 30 which was nice size, and comfortable. The windows face a central atrium, so there is good natural light. You enter the room on an upper level, and go down a staircase. I rearranged the furniture as there was a bit of wasted space at the bottom of the staircase.. Staff is helpful and friendly. The included breakfast is excellent and includes fruit, breads, juice, coffee, eggs to order and some other choices. Just across the hall from the room is a nice size bar area that didn’t seem to be in use. There are good views from the windows and comfortable tables and chairs if you need to do any work, or want to sit with a friend and talk. The hotel has a perfect location- just off a lovely, leafy square ringed with good restaurants.

The only disappoint was no coffee maker in the room and the service and food at the restaurant not up to par.

• samismac (10/5): A lovely hotel in the middle of it all! - My daughter and I spent two nights at the Hotel Edelmira near the Jardin de la Union in Guanajuato. The hotel is in a perfect location just off the main square and allowed us to easily walk from place to place. The people who work here are very friendly and the room was absolutely perfect for us. Because it is so close to the very active Jardin we requested a room that was quieter and they put us in a beautiful double bed room that looks out to the courtyard. It was very quiet and we slept wonderfully. The only criticism if that when we arrived the room had two Nespresso pods and water. When I asked for the second night I was told we would need to pay for them- as they are only given the first night. It’s not a big deal to pay for them but given the hotel was on the pricier side, I was surprised that they would not provide two small pod’s without an extra charge. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay and I would absolutely recommend the hotel for your stay in Guanajuato

• nancygH189OE (2/5): Disastrous upper management experience - Poor customer service changed our 5 star to 1 star rating. My friend made an error in her initial reservation and discovered within a few days, and 6 weeks prior to our stay, that 5 rooms were booked instead of one. My friend emailed the hotel and received written confirmation from the hotel that the reservation was corrected. When we arrived, there were 5 rooms on the reservation. The kind and efficient front desk staff, Eileen, tried for an hour to correct this error, and continued to work on this during our three day stay, and after our return home 1 week later. It is still not resolved. There is no clear way to communicate with the hotel supervisor nor Staybridge as to how to correct this error. That being said, the local staff were very accommodating. The hotel is comfortable and in an ideal location. However, ultimately they have failed to respond responsibly and in a timely manner to resolving a significant error. No senior managerial hotel company staff have been available to my friend, nor was any contact information provided to us at the level required to address this. The front desk staff Eileen made a significant effort to intercede on our behalf, but she required supervisors to correct the error.

• Thelma (10/5): Great Place to Stay - This hotel is too cute. Wonderful area. Super close to the Plaza de La Union. Walking distance to great restaurants and tourist places. The room is big and cozy. The bed is so comfortable and the extra pillows just makes it even better. All necessities are available.

For the price, I was shocked at the room quality and the lack of amenities. The room had no source of air flow and felt musty as a result. The pool was not available for full use, nor was it sufficiently heated to be use-able in winter months. The lack of wifi is surprising given the price.

Spotless clean. The price is not justifiable. The room was a bit small for the price and I had a discount for 2 rooms, Deluxe King Suite bedrooms each one and not nice views or anything. The staff was amazing, and they saved my experience from becoming a bad one.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Good location and nice staff - Top floor room #43 only had windows which were placed high up in a corner so although you got light entering the room, you had no view or ability to open them for fresh air. Luckily there was an AC unit. Room was big but furniture laid out strange. Staff were all very nice and helpful.
