• sheila (1/5): thankful to be outta there. - the location. the room we were sent to was not clean. so they gave us another room which was better but not much. the cleaning staff looked to be retirement age. I felt bad that they who seemed to be the grandparents were doing the cleaning. the hotel it's self was in disarray un kept dusty, the manager was ok at 1st but later in the evening we were sitting in our vehicle after shopping, and he walked by us and was staring/glaring at us his whole way by. I'm not sure why he did that, but it left me with a very uneasy feeling. Instead of watching the guest, he should be doing some cleaning himself and not put the task on old people. there wasn't any breakfast. needless to say, we will not be going back there again.

• Robbie (1/5): Stay away from booking.com and stay away from this hotel unless you wanna get roaches in your suitca - Absolutely NOTHING !!! Room smelled like stale beer and cigarettes. There was dead cockroaches in the halls and cockroaches in my room. I didn’t even stay. I did not even sit down on the bed. I grabbed my backpack and walked back out. I spent hard earned money on two nights and got nothing for it. I definitely would not recommend this hotel and I’m definitely not gonna recommend BOOKING.COM

• C (1/5): Worst place ever - Nothing about this place was good at all. Worst hotel ive ever been at Before you even enter the building the plowing is terrible its all ice. The two front doors are absolutely filthy. When i walked in has a musty and cigerette smell. Waited 10 min for someone to come to front desk. Elevator was broken. Buckets in hallway catching water. Staircase was absolutely gross. Ppl screaming and fighting and kids yelling and a dog barking on first floor. Hallway smelled like cigerettes. I get to the room the bed and towels all had long black hair on everything. No toilet paper 1 towel. No floor towel. TV didnt work. Needless to say i was to tired to leave didnt shower and just went to sleep and left as early as possible. I cant believe the state allows this place to stay open.

• Patti (1/5): - Nothing Parking lot was not plowed. Lady in office said she had no one to call. I have a hard time walking and she told my daughter there was nothing she could do. So I had my daughter go in and cancel and she said I couldn't get my money back cuz I did it in line. Terrible way to run a motel and customer service was awful. Never will I book with them and I will be sure to tell everyone I know...what a terrible place to go. I would really like a refund.

• Jackie (5/5): No Bells & Whistles, Low Budget, but good for 1 night - I have stayed at this location before and It's low budget, but 'safe' for 1 night. What I like is that It's close to everything. Because, I come here to do my early Christmas Shopping From Canada. But there are no (bells & whistles) here. I think that my last stay was a little better but the The place is under new management, and they don't look like they have the staff or manpower to really operate this establishment yet. The elevators weren't working, (grateful they gave me a room on the 1st floor). I never saw the cleaning staff, but this does not mean that they did not have any. I just didn't see anyone. The eat in dinning area was closed - so there was no breakfast. When I asked about this - they said (they are not yet licensed to serve food). The TV didn't work, and the person at the front desk, had to come and turn it on using buttons on the actual TV. So in reality, It couldn't turn on or off & the remote didn't work. Now, I'm not trying to be super fussy, because (it's low budget) but They did not have any bath mats for the shower either - (but I managed) without this. And then there were stains on the fitted bed sheet, that I did not notice when I was leaving. I think that the place needs some TLC, but like I said it's cheap & good for short stays. (A price reduction would be in order) because you really only just get a bed at this point, because the Entertainment does not work. Breakfast was not available. Bath mats were missing from the showers. TV's and remote controls were not working, and linen on the bed was stained.

• Edward (8/5): - The place is pretty run-down, and there's just a weird smell everywhere. Stains on towels & bedsheets, etc. But you get what you pay for and the staff was friendly and the place quiet so it wasn't all bad.
• Andrew (2/5): - Terrible stay! Booked a room that sleeps 4 (2 queen beds), upon arrival, was charged extra for being 3 guests. Once given the room key, I was advised that the elevator was broken and that we would have to take the stairs to the 2nd floor. The receptionist was rude, uncaring and made several remarks that were uncalled for. Left the room at 8:30 am and the continental breakfast was already put away including coffee. When asked if we could get coffee we were told by the same receptionist as the day before that we missed the cut off for breakfast and coffee. Again 8:30 am! Will NEVER stay again and dont recommend.

The place is very dated and kind of looks dingy; the heater was very noisy. However, the room very clean. For one night it was ok, but wouldn't stay there for any longer.

At check in the person working the desk appeared to have no interest it providing customer service or noy being off putting. When we walked into our room the air quality was extremely poor so we tried to open the window thankfully my husband was with me because after the us of muscle he was able to get it open, then we left for dinner and when we returned the room was thankfully much better. The breakfast starts at 6:00am, we arrived for breakfast at 7:00 the eggs were ice cold, there was 1 yogurt and the person taking care of the breakfast was more interested in having her breakfast than restocking so the people could have the breakfast they were promised. The place overall left a very poor impression on us. To top it all off in the morning no one was working the freont desk.

It’s a clean place and sure it is not as up to date as others but for the price you can get an excellent steak dinner at the Texas Roadhouse down the road for the extra you would pay for an “up to date “ place. Breakfast was more than expected with eggs and sausage and quality bagels.

A one-inch piece of wallpaper was pealing easily could have been glue with super glue to make it not so noticeable. the leather couch at the entrance needs to be replaced. the breakfast foods need to be replenished at least midway through the breakfast. no staff is around during breakfast. the hours are from 0700-0900. My partner has to have gluten free options, which I discussed with the front desk the night before. They said no problem we have eggs, meat and yogurt. We took the last few yogurts and no meat was in the container or refilled from 0800-0900. This was still a good value for the money but I would have thought if this was identified initially, this would have been addressed.
• Chrystal (2/5): - The hotel had a stale smell in the lobby, but once you walked into the room (116) you immediately smell mildew! The mattress protector has never been cleaned, the baseboards are separating from the wall. The fan in the bathroom does not work when you shower and you can hear people use the bathroom above you and every flush. The Kleenex box was completely rusted and only one shampoo, conditioner and soap bar was left for two guests! When I checked in I had to wait 10 minutes for staff to arrive at front desk and desk was left unattended to throughout the night. The vending machine only accepts coin and very limited selection offered. I slept fully clothed and we left first thing in the morning and skipped the breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Went for breakfast and no one was there to replenish coffee or other food items. Other customers had been there 30 minutes and tried to get service and got nothing. Eventually someone came to replenish the coffee maker. Even had to ask for yogourt. Asked for receipt to ensure not charged extra and the person had no clue and kept referring me to sitr I booked. Absolutely no customer service.

Public areas were less clean - the breakfast area was somewhat disorganized and the waste basket was overflowing with garbage at 8:00 a.m. which means it hadn't been emptied in quite a while. The exterior of the building is in need of dressing up and cleaning, not at all inviting.

Bedding was dirty, we had to strip the blanket off and get our own blankets from the car because we found a big blood mark on the bottom of the blanket that was facing the inside of the bed. • Nathan (8/5): - Mixed experience. The positives first—free parking is always a win, and the area around the hotel is quiet, which made for a peaceful stay. It’s also conveniently located near stores like Aldi and Walmart, plus a variety of restaurants, so it was easy to grab what we needed. Our room was clean, and the bed was really comfy, which helped us get a good night’s sleep. The shower had decent water pressure, and the room came with great amenities like a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The continental breakfast was good, too. They offered cereal, waffles, eggs, potatoes (though they were a bit dry), fruit, orange juice, milk, and toast or bagels. Now for the not-so-good: the tables and bathroom sink were unusually low, which was a little awkward. Also, when we first arrived, there was nobody at the front desk, so we had to wait around before checking in, which was a bit frustrating. During checkout, the guy at the front desk was a bit rude when asked for a printed receipt—not exactly the customer service we were hoping for. The building itself is quite old and has a noticeable smell, and unfortunately, our room had a lingering cigarette smoke odor. The outdoor pool was closed.
• Chandradai (2/5): - The guy that checked us in was horribly rude. I booked for 2 adults and 2 kids and he accused me of booking for 2 adults. When i got accessed to the WIFI and I showed him my reservation he didn’t apologize. The room looks and smells outdated. Breakfast time we couldn’t find any staff to ask for supplies. The milk, eggs, orange juice, tea bags (5) only available. The washroom was outdated and 1 ply toilet paper was provided. The surrounding areas were okay. Nice trails to walk around. Nice food.

• Emad (2/5): - I am very disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. From the moment I arrived, I encountered multiple issues that left me highly dissatisfied. Firstly, the initial room and bed were extremely uncomfortable, which made it impossible to get a good night’s rest. I was also taken aback by the lack of professionalism and warmth from your staff, who did not seem welcoming at all. Additionally, the amenities provided in the room, such as soap and shampoo, were not sufficient for three guests. When I requested an extra bed, for which I was charged $10 per day, I was shocked to receive a dirty, rusted mattress that was completely unhygienic and unsuitable for use. It was appalling to think that this bed could be offered to guests, given the potential health risks from germs and bacteria. SO I REFUSED IT. Overall, this experience has left me with a very negative impression of your hotel, and I will not be staying at Travelodge again. I hope you take these concerns seriously to improve the experience for future guests.

They refused also to refund our fully paid booking, desire the fact my wife had a medical reason for not bei g able to stay. So, they took our money for nothing in return. Clearly there were few people stay at the hotel. Finally, Watertown in general is a horrible place for hotel accommodation. Beware!!
