I found out the rate of hotel they moved me to js abiut 60% of what I paid to Novotel. They offered lunch and dinner but i have crazy busy schedule and did not have a single meal.

The service staff were attentive and Nour who cooks the eggs on request was consistently good. Parking round the back of the building was fine also. Lowlights: the pool is tiny and male-use only. Like other hotels youre given several small plastic bottles each day - i'd rather one large one to reduce plastic waste

Al llegar al hotel me informaron que habían vendido más habitaciones de la cuenta y que estaban llenos… que me tenían que derivar a un hotel a 3 minutos de ahí… tras mucho discutir y sin conseguir que hoteles.com solucionase el problema, no me quedó más remedio que irme a dormir al hotel más cochambroso que he visto en mi vida… sin mantenimiento durante los últimos 60 años… como una cárcel de un país tercermundista… hotel Mena Andalusia. Además de esto, recalcar la malísima educación y servicio del recepcionista. En resumen, mal el hotel y, sobretodo mal hoteles.com por no solucionar el problema.

Also the main entrance of the hotel was closed because the road was under constructions which made it way difficult to direct Uber driver to the location as they have to pick you up from underground parking which was hard to locate. another thing, there was no elevator from the underground parking lot to the lobby. you have to carry your luggage by yourself on the stairs to the lobby which was very inconvenient.

"please get back to us in a few minutes" !!! Eventually, the issue was not solved and they cost me more time and money Another note that caused my dissatisfaction was the room I was first given a room near the compressors whilst I specifically requested the from office to place me in a quiet room.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Fine for a night or two. Can be noisy - The hotel is located nowhere near a traffic light. If you have to cross Olaya St. then you are on your own jay walking a 4+4 lane road. Hotel staff is very nice. I have been twice in the hotel and last one on Sept 1. 2015 was much worse than the first one. I was directed to a room in the second floor facing pretty much a wall, actually a building with construction being done. Since I arrived at night I didn't care too much for view but it was noisi as some industra AC was very close. I came down to reception to request a change and they put me in another room , bigger, on the 4th floor which should be more sepparate from noise. I could still hear a clear hum but went to bed and slept more or less ok. Next morning I realise that there's additional industrial AC units almost in front of me again. So ask for the room facing Olaya street if possible. They can be noisy as well but it is traffic noise and less intense at night. Also, there's not many options to eat around but if you are hungry try not to call room service. Some options of the menu they don't have. They offered me a grilled chicken breast and what arrived was a boiled one or oven one, all pale white. Did not enjoy it.

The hotel is modern, new and I was upgraded to a suite which had a living room (with a lovely reclining chair) and a separate bedroom. The bed was comfortable and I had a great night sleep. The hotel is very well located in the Olaya street: the main artery of Riyadh. The staff was polite and helpful. I will come back!

- Tani (8/5): Excellent location and value for money - The hotel is newly renovated with very friendly staff. It's located along Olaya St., Riyadh's business/ commercial center. We arrived earlier than the usual check in time but was so glad that front desk supervisor was so accommodating and gave us our room right away. Much to our delight we were upgraded to Junior Suite Room from our original De Luxe Room booking without extra charge. Internet is free with strong signal. Hotel facilities are up to date, and its so nice also that the hotel has a basement parking, surely a good extra since Riyadh is always having a hot sunny weather. Definitely will book on this hotel on my future trips in Riyadh.
