• Tan (7/5): Spacious room comes with a little kitchen. Good for long term stay. - This hotel sits in a quiet place that is close to a nice mall, Spring Mall. There are restaurants nearby. There is a cozy nice Island cafe on the ground floor. Very close to the airport. Not far to the river front by taxi. You could wash your clothes in this hotel. Wish the washroom could be upgraded.

Great little cafe nearby. Close to Kuching centre. (Cheap in a Grab- didn’t walk) Roadworks nearby which made traffic very busy. Unable to safely walk into Kuching centre.

• Jutta (7/5): Citadines- Stadthotel für Business und Besucher - Die Suite war sehr schön. Das Kingsbed war breit. Das Frühstück war okay. Gegenüber dem Haupeingang befand sich ein exquisites Café. Die Kaffeebar an der Rezeption war nur Show. Es gab keinen Kaffee. Leider gab es auf dem Zimmer auch keine frischen Wasserflaschen. Leider gab es keine Infos zu den Touren in den Regenwald.

• Chen Wee (1/5): A great trip but ruined by poor accommodation - Gym is actually not bad, well maintained and clean. The parking system is also rather advanced, easy to use and rate is very fair. Air conditioning in the whole apartment also functioning well 1. Building is not well maintained, run-down. Paint peeled off from the wall and furniture is seasoned. The living hall sofa cushioning is bad, you literally sit on a metal spring rather than on the foam 2. Toilet flushing system spoilt. Each flush causes me to be a plumber where I have to manually fix the flushing mechanism 3. Towels are with yellow stains 4. Poor sound proofing between walls, you can hear next door and the whole staying experience certainly made interested with children screaming next door and the road construction right outside the building where it lasted till 3am every night!! 5. Asked to change room and receptionist promised to get back by 3pm. It was only at 830pm 2 calls were made - first mentioning alternate room was available, and a minute later, another phone call from the same person mentioning it was a wrong dial and the alternate room was actually reserved for another guests. So it meant there was no intention to call back at all or changed the room after all the concerns raised!!!

Towels and bedding are not white I’ve stayed at many citadines, sadly the condition of this one is not the usual standard.

• No (7/5): The stay was comfortable and met my expectations even though there are flaws - Family rooms that can fit 4+ pax are quite hard to find in Kuching so it's fortunate there's one in Citadines with affordable pricing. There is a worn out/damaged floor board near the side of window in master room. Probably due to someone leaving the window open and rain water seeped into the board. Was not fixed by the time we arrived unfortunately.

The aircondition in room I think need to service cause not really cold even 17 Celsius, is that any other way to solve the sound come from highway, still quite lough even I choose donot facing the spring, the place having breakfast a bit hot. Not aircondition.

• Norliawati (3/5): Not worth the money. - Location near to The Spring shopping mall The toilet bowl is not properly cleaned. Still have yellow stain in the toilet bowl. I booked 2 rooms. One of the room tiles already damaged and pop out. It should be repaired before allowing any guest to use the room. Overall cleanliness is not ok. Very bad smell when go in the room. Not properly maintained all the facilities.

• Roam04237740838 (8/5): Aparthotel in Kuching - Located near the airport, just about 10 minutes drive. The hotel is in the same building as the ST3 Mall but the mall was quite empty, only 2-3 restaurants and many different types of toys vending machines that open on the ground floor. Don’t worry if you need to eat or buy something, The Spring Mall just across the street. I and my family stayed here for 2 nights in the Executive Two Bedroom. The apartment is spacious but looks old. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the master bedroom with king sized bed and en suite bathroom with bathtub but it was stuffy there because the exhaust fan didn’t work normally. The twin sized bed bedroom has no windows, the walls look dirty, and the lights are dim. The other bathroom is smaller than one in the master bedroom, no bathtub just shower room but more clean and fresh, I mostly did my business here. In both bathroom there is a handwash soap bottle but were empty both of them. I don’t know they forgot to refill it or it were only accessories. There are 2 small televisions in living room and master bedroom. It weren’t smart tv and not so many channels options. The apartment has 3 air conditioners unit in both bedrooms and living room so it was easy to adjust the temperature. It has kitchenette and a dining table. The microwave worked well as we used it. We didn’t use the electric stove because we saw the cookware (pot, pan, and wok) were scratched so we decided not to use it. The hotel provide filter dispensers in the hallway instead of bottled water. There’s glass jar in the room you can use. It tastes little bit weird for me, maybe the tube hose hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There wasn’t washing machine in the apartment, but there’s launderette with only 2 washers and 2 dryers on 3rd floor. You can buy the coin at the reception. It cost about RM12/coin. We tried breakfast here. It was a simple breakfast, not so many choices of food but it taste delicious enough.
