- Shoji-Bahuleyan (10/5): Excellent Stay and recommend for travellers - Had a fantastic stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Towanda Wysox! 🏨✨ The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, and the bed was very much cozy Plus, starting the day with their delicious hot breakfast was the cherry on top. Highly recommend for a comfortable getaway!

I had an excellent experience at the Fairfield Inn & Suites located in Wysox, PA - largely thanks to Curtis. I was coordinating 10 reservations for a business gathering, and Curtis was wonderful throughout the entire process.
He was proactive and attentive, calling me multiple times to address any questions or concerns and ensuring everything was handled smoothly. Curtis also took the extra step to help upgrade our rooms, which made a big difference for our team. He was consistently pleasant, professional and reassuring, and I felt completely comfortable knowing he was making sure we would have a great experience.
Managing group or business reservations can be stressful, but Curtis made it easy and seamless. His customer service truly stood out and because of him, I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.
- YAIR (10/5): המלון עמד בציפיות, מלון דרכים יעיל ונוח - המיקום נוח, א. בוקר אמריקאית סבירה הכל טוב
- Z4502CQjoanf (10/5): Excellent breakfast - and most special-diet-friendly I've ever seen! Also helpful & friendly staff. - We were here 5 days. I give this hotel the highest marks ever for the food in the buffet breakfast! They offered wonderful fresh fruit - cut up cantaloupe, strawberries, blueberries. And I have never been to any hotel that accommodated to special diet needs like this one! They had soy milk out by the coffee and offered oat milk also if requested. They had vegetarian sausage patties every morning and the eggs came both with and without cheese every day and they also had packaged hard-boiled eggs. But the best was they offered gluten free bagels AND muffins. It was wonderful!! Also high marks for the personable and helpful staff. Ina in the kitchen was so helpful - offering me options when I didn't know to ask, helping us with local questions like how to find a particular store, and always unfailingly cheerful and friendly. Curtis at the front desk was also helpful, arranging nearby rooms for our later-arriving family and greeting us as we came and went, and Housekeeping helped in finding an extra chair we could use in our room. The bed was comfortable. The only drawback was very poor bars for phone connection; we often had to go outside to phone. But it was an excellent stay.
- Rebecca (8/5): Easy to find, comfortable beds - Comfortable beds
- stanleycF7152LV (2/5): Housekeeping does a great job but breakfast is Gross!!!!!! - Well first I would like to say how wonderful your house keeping staff if doing to room was wonderful but the breakfast was nasty, the eggs were dark yellow and I had to crap them off the pan , the sausage was very dry and the bacon was so crunchy it just tasted like grease , the sausage gravy was the worst , I believe that's where my problems started and I no longer felt good at all . Your breakfast attendant ina I believe that's what she told me her name was , was stand at the coffee bar as I was walking by didn't not say good morning she was very rude , which I didn't think that was very professional but I just continued to walk on by back to my table . I sat there for a little bit to see is she would come back out so I could let her know that the sausage gravy had made me feel off and I didn't see her again until I was about to go back up to get my thing from my friends room and upon trying to get her attention I was given a dirty nasty rude look again and she just walked away , I was in shock to be shut out like that I got on the elevator and went up stairs to get my things . I do not think any of her attentions were okay and my friends and I will not be returning to your hotel again , maybe hire someone that knows how to make people feel more welcome and someone that can cook food correctly
- Rita (10/5): - The only negative was that the elevator was super slow.
- Adam (10/5): Home away from home - Awsome stay...thanks for the home feeling.
- Natalia (10/5): - Приятная гостиница, доброжелательный персонал.
Надалеко располагается Olivia's Pub&Grill- очень рекомендую. На завтрак не хватало свежих овощей.
- Marty Hall (10/5): - Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms, lovely landscaping
- Chester (4/5): - Did not get very good deal. Stayed 2 days wilkes barre Marriott 119.00 for room with upgrade as military an have ID. Cost 1 night wysox Pa 189.00 total small town in country. Had to get 3rd party to get this rate originsl wanted 239 plus tax an i mentioned i am Gold member have been bonvoy member an military . Will not stay there if they dont honor militiary rates and being gold member, plus put on 1st floor. Was nout pleased with rates or no upgrade.
- Deborah (10/5): - I liked the separate room off the king.
I didn’t like the location
- stephaniegP278RC (10/5): Mindy makes your stay exceptional - I was having IT issues with a form that I needed printed out and Mindy, at the front desk, was so helpful and kind enough to figure it out for me. She noticed my frustration and acted swiftly and saved the day! She helped multiple times throughout the day and I felt genuinely taken care of. She went above and beyond. I will definitely be returning to this Marriott location and have already told my colleagues to book a room here when we come up for work.
- Curiosity40727112383 (10/5): Great experience - Great day! This is my second time here and have been here for two weeks at a time. The staff is great all the way around but a special shout out to the best front desk clerk in the evenings Sara, she helped me multiple times on a variety of things and went over the top! I won’t stay anywhere else
- Bernadette (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at Fairfield Wysox very much. The staff was especially helpful and cordial.
- nicole (10/5): - Staff was very nice . Room was very clean.
- Heather (8/5): - I really enjoyed my stay and I'm sure we will be back. The only thing I didn't like was the hight of the bed in handy capable room. I am 6ft tall so I need a taller bed.
- alexis (10/5): - Clean, and friendly staff
- Joellen (10/5): - 💛
- Derrick (6/5): - It’s a great property. Unfortunately the room I was put in (Room 137) has a high pitched whistling sound sporadically emitting from somewhere in the bathroom, all day and night. And from the sounds of it in talking with the front desk staff, they’ve know about it before but yet are still putting people in that room. So if you stay there, don’t let them put you in room 137 unless they say they’ve fixed that problem. Otherwise is a great property, I’ve enjoyed previous stays and will stay there again.
- Carol (10/5): - Rooms clean, staff was very friendly, but we had trouble getting our room warm.
- Marilee (10/5): - Always clean and comfortable! Everyone is nice and helpful!’
- alexis (10/5): - Everyone was so very nice! It was so clean!!!
- Kara (8/5): - Great hotel! Used the pool and fitness center during our visit. Close to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was busy, and the attendant had trouble keeping things stocked. Would stay again!
- Lisa (8/5): - The room was clean. The pool was nice just not cleaned for a few days and not heated, it was a bit cold. There is not much in the town so its hard to blame the hotel. It was close to sheetz next door and a few restaurants. The staff was friendly. Not the Ritz but your not paying that price either. For a clean cheap room it was good.
- Constance (8/5): - Nice, clean, comfortable hotel. The only negative was the breakfast buffet options were depleted when I went down at 7:45 am. I would definitely stay again if I’m in the area.
- Kayann (10/5): - Nice accomidations
- Eric (10/5): - Very nice, clean and comfortable
- DavidandAmy (8/5): Great and OH SO BAD! - Lots of Great and one GLARING BAD!!!!!!
First the great....The place was spotless and my room was super clean, even the shower. Comfortable bed and lots of breakfast offerings! Also, convenient and safe. Tina at the from desk was beyond super, with her smile and he courtesy!
NOW THE BADDER THAN BAD.
Front desk JOSH and manager MARQUIS are disastrous! On the phone Marquis was difficult and less than friendly when I was asking a question. In person he made me feel like a third class citizen. Upon arrival, Josh made checkin difficult and would not engage me or answer my questions.
When I was finally allowed to checkin, he wrote down a number on a card and basically threw it at me, without telling me where my room was or how to get there. No courtesy or respect as a customer or a fellow human being.
Fairfield Inn should look into the CUSTOMER DISSERVICE practiced at the Towanda Fairfield Inn. Perhaps a bit of customer centric behavior should be reviewed and practiced by Marquis and Josh.
And just in case they do not understand what it means to be customer friendly, here it is:
What is customer-centricity? Customer-centricity is a business strategy that's based on putting your customer first and at the core of your business in order to provide a positive experience and build long-term relationships.
- Kelly (10/5): - Smelled good and was clean and breakfast was fresh. Staff was very nice and professional.
- Sarah (10/5): Good stay - First time staying at a Fairfield. I am actually employed as a hotel resort inspector and the room was very clean, especially during busy season, so good job housekeeping!! Bed was a bit too firm for my liking but that's just preference. Very nice stay, quiet and next to Sheetz is a plus. Loved the lemon lime water at checkout. Staff was friendly and cheerful.
- Lorie (10/5): Exceptional - Everyone was very friendly and helpful
- Qiao Feng (10/5): - Very clean
- John (10/5): - Everything was Fine. Staff were Great.Room was really clean.
- Brian (10/5): - Close to friend
- Verified traveler (10/5): 3 nt stay - New, clean, comfortable rooms and beds. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. We were impressed and would stay again.
- Rosanna (10/5): - Convenient for what we needed
- Y97VFkathleens (10/5): Two thumbs way up! - First time at this hotel, and it was a wonderful experience. First impressions are great with the landscaping and the cleanliness outside and in. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was clean and lovely, and the breakfast was excellent and well tended to. I would highly recommend this hotel.
- Angela (8/5): - The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Our first night we were next to a mechanical room and it was very loud. Front desk thought maybe something was broken because they had never heard that complaint before.
- Bernadette (10/5): - Very clean. Well kept.
- Kara (10/5): - Great hotel! Took advantage of the pool and fitness center during our stay. Plenty of dining options available nearby.
- Grace (10/5): - Everything was top notch, as always! This trip the staff went out of their way to treat my sister (last minute booking) like royalty
- heidiaB5870CT (10/5): Great stay - The otel and room were very clean. I was very impressed. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend staying here and I will definitely stay at another Fairfield Inn and Suites.
- Clark (10/5): - Very good experience overall. Traveled with young family, enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was good.
- Carol (10/5): - We stay here every time we are in the area. Very clean, never had trouble with noise, the staff is friendly. I would recommend staying there.
- Phillip (10/5): - Very nice property.
Rooms are very nice. Great place to stay !!!
- Barbara (10/5): - The staff was very friendly. The facility and room I stayed in was very clean!! The breakfast was amazing with many options to choose from. I would stay here again.
- ReglMad (8/5): Nice, typical Fairfield Inn - Clean, well maintained, comfortable. Very nice staff. Typical Fairfield. Should have had another chair. The body wash, conditioner, and shampoo dispensers were in nearly identically labeled dispensers. The contents were identified in nearly invisible, tiny, low contrast fonts in a color combination that only some weeny-brained, non-traveling, inexperienced, color-blind, non-designer could think was desirable. The brand name was the only thing that was easily read. Apparently the contents didn’t matter. If someone had just awakened and would normally wear glasses, they wouldn’t be able to read the contents. Just another idiotic piece of design over function. Graphics are forms of communication. This piece of eye pain doesn’t do that. Those products are exclusive to Marriott, so fortunately they don’t have fight for shelf space and brand identification. Otherwise, their sales probably would not keep them on the shelves for long. So, why not just keep it user friendly since the label really has little, if any, function other than identifying the contents. So just tell the user what is inside and de-emphasize the brand I.D. Anyone wanting more of the product could pursue the brand as they choose. And as an exclusive Marriott product, with probably near negligible retail sales compared. I would doubt that product line generates much, if any, meaningful profit. At least the shower had decent water pressure.
- Angela (6/5): - I enjoy the facilities
- HellcatVet (10/5): World class staff - I am a frequent guest so I have the luxury of getting to know the staff. The front desk, whether manned by Rebecca, Cassie, or Alyssa always greets me as a friend and has my room ready. Breakfast manager, Bobbie Jo works tirelessly to supply a great meal. Firecrackers Sara and Nicole are the heartbeat of a competent housekeeping staff and Mary M works tirelessly too. Tina runs night shift and is a wonderful personality to greet me early in the morning. Everyone surprised me with balloons, a banner, and cupcakes, along with a personally signed card for my birthday! The hotel is more of a work destination, but all these gals make it feel like home!
- normas788 (10/5): Great Stay - Our stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Towanda was delightful. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rebecca at the front desk went out of her way to assist us. We will certainly stay there again if we have the opportunity.
- Kathleen (8/5): - Nothing unique. Breakfast was good!
- HellcatVet (10/5): Nice start to a week - After a long day, I very much appreciated a warm, personal welcome from Cassie, who also made sure the right credit card was on file for future stays. Nicole had the extras I requested in my clean comfortable room.
- Geoffrey (8/5): - The inn was clean and well kept. The bed was very hard making sleep a bit difficult. Since many people find a hard bed ideal, I cannot fault too much
- coopnurse (10/5): So clean and well maintained - Staff was friendly and helpful, room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was hot and offered a great variety of breakfast food. It was also decorated for Christmas. Fireplace was warm and cozy. Such a great place to stay.
- Lamphere (7/5): Good -
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- 717micheleo (10/5): Exceeded expectations - Hotel room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Bathroom was beautiful and big. With three of us getting ready for a wedding, we appreciated it! Grab-and-go breakfast was more than I expected, given the name. Omelets, waffles, and more! Even vegan sausage! A pleasant surprise!
- akmsanctuary (10/5): Very helpful front desk staff - I have stayed a few times at this location. It is popular in the area. Cassie is such a nice and personable host! She was able to facilitate a consistent stay for my business trip. She was so patient and helpful. I am happy to stay here every time I have work in this area!
- Robert (10/5): - Clean & nicely appointed rooms
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shaellen (8/5): - The room had dust everywhere. We told housekeeping a lady named Mary and her response was it does get quite dusty. It looked like an inch of dust was everywhere.
- Grace (10/5): - everything was wonderful and the staff was so helpful
- Audrey (6/5): Good stay - clean hotel. - Overall the stay was good. There was an issue at check in and I was charged a second time for the room. Which then turned into spending time trying to straighten it out. The staff was friendly.
- Dennis (10/5): - Check in was easy. Staff was great. Hotel was well kept and clean. Room was great, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was as expected. Definitely would stay again.
- Maryann (10/5): Great staff. Great experience. - Room was spotless. Staff were friendly, helpful and personable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): My favorite - Always enjoy my stay here. The front desk girl Lindsey is great and always has a smile on her face
- tweedybird26 (10/5): Better tan expected - This hotel is immaculate! The front desk staff are especially quick and pleasant. Even though the breakfast area was not officially open for our early departure we were able to get coffee and yogurt which was nice.
- AxelReutti (10/5): Perfect place to be - One of the best Fairfield’s I’ve ever been. Perfect warm welcome, rapid check in, spacious rooms and an excellent breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs, omelettes, different types of yoghurts and a variety of coffee and tea. The pool is outside but is in a good condition, the only thing was the ice machine out of order on my floor. Really a good recommendation!
- Carol (10/5): - The front desk was so nice and friendly. It was so nice to walk into the lobby and see a smiling face and was so pleasant.
- anthonypM3083DK (10/5): Exceptionally clean, friendly hotel - My family stayed here for one night with my elderly mom. We requested connecting rooms so I could be near my mom to help her. The connecting rooms were perfect for our family! Mom had a handicapped accessible room and we had two queen beds in our adjoining room. It was a great! We each had our privacy, and I was able to help Mom when she needed it.
I must say this was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. EVERYTHING in the hotel was immaculate! The room, bathroom, lobby, and breakfast area were all spotless!!! The effort that the staff puts into keeping the hotel clean was quite evident. I'm a "clean freak" so staying in a hotel that showed cleanliness was just as important to them as it is for me, was huge!
The entire staff: front desk, housekeeping, breakfast attendant were all very friendly, accommodating, and happy to help.
We plan on returning to the Towanda area this summer and this is definitely the only place that our family will be staying. The entire staff should be commended for the wonderful hotel they are operating!
- Adam (10/5): - Updated and very clean. The lobby when you walked in is very inviting and clean. Staff was all great and I would definitely stay at again.
- 480billies (2/5): Terrible management/service - I originally contacted here about booking a block of rooms for my wedding in August. I went back and forth with a woman about contract details and pricing. I told her to go ahead with the contract so we could get it in place for our wedding. Never got an email, call, or contract back for weeks. Called to follow up, spoke with someone else and said that they would be back in touch with the contract with the manager- I think his name is Marcus- weeks went by nothing. Called again and left a message displeased and NEVER got a call back or response. They do not care about business I guess and getting a whole block of rooms booked out for a wedding. Will never recommend or go here. Dont do their jobs.
- FoxySlater (10/5): Caring for the homeless. - Very Caring friendly front desk clerks, the rooms were clean and warm.
The hotel is between ( share a parking lot with,) an 24 hour laundry mat and gas station. You can do you laundry, any time and they are both in walking distant.
They are good size showers. Guest have free Wi-Fi when you check in. and good breakfast in the morning.
Tips($) for house keeping is welcomed.
I really enjoyed my stay there.
- Rachel (10/5): Nice hotel - It was perfect. Nice comfy bed and pillows. Nice staff. Clean room
- PATRICIA (10/5): - This hotel is very nice - clean, relatively new, good location. The breakfast was very good. The hotel staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay again.
- Jason (10/5): - Clean and facility well taken care of.
- MATTHEW (10/5): - wonderful people who care alot about the people who stay there. have been there 5 times already and it never changes.
- Janice (10/5): - I stayed there 7 or 8 years ago and was happy to see that everything looked as fresh and clean as before. This is in view of the fact they have a number of guests that work in the "fracking" industry. I am certain that your staff and management set some ground rules, therefore, everyone was quiet and polite and even took their boots off outside the building. The staff could not have been nicer even though at least one worked a couple double shifts, she still sincerely smiled and chatted. I also like your I Found It feature because my brother's lighter, which was a gift from his daughter, must have slipped out of his pocket. It's on the way back to us. Good job all around.
- Trent (10/5): Service - It was good. Everything was nice and clean and the room spelled good when you walked in. Staff was friendly and did a good job. Thank you
- michellef16 (4/5): Looks good from the outside but the inside is bad - If you need to stay in this area, there are very limited options so you may need to stay there despite the review. The room was small and smelly. Beds were horrible. No services. Staff tried but were overwhelmed and we had to go downstairs to get anything (extra linens).
- David (8/5): Nice and cool (with adjustments). - Easy check in. Everyone was very kind and polite. The room was clean. The issue I had was with the room temperature. I had to keep turning it down cooler but it kept feeling warm. Set at 70 and the room was 72. 68 to get 70. Not a big deal but took a few adjustments to get comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Checkout was quick and easy. Overall, a good experience.
- Denise (10/5): - Front desk help was incredible
Joan and the woman she relived wet terrific
- lab4815 (10/5): Impeccable Cleanliness - I stayed on 8/19 as a last-minute plan -- I had been driving for a long time and I was concerned about what kind of hotel would be available to me in such a remote area. Luckily I found this Fairfield -- I can't be comfortable in an unclean room, so being the slightly obsessive person I am, I inspected the room top to bottom. My room was impeccable -- My hskpr was Brooke (according to the card in my room) and I just wanted to take a moment to thank Brooke, because of your attention to detail, I was able to relax and get my head straight for another long day of driving the next day. THANK YOU!
Also a shout out to the girl at the front desk who is clearly doing 5 roles in 1 -- She rushed to help a guest change linens then back to the desk to help me check-in. I wish I could remember her name but she deserves props too, there's a strong chance her name was Amanda? Anyway, the hotel business is a rough one to be in right now, so thank you to everyone. :)
- eugene (10/5): Weekend wedding - Very clean, very nice, very friendly
- NanJ55 (10/5): Very nice hotel - We stayed here one night in Aug 21 on our way to the Finger Lakes. It was a very nice hotel, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the best I have had during these times of covid restrictions - orders were placed at the kitchen for omelets, eggs, sausage, etc. Many places seem to have grab and go items only. So, that was a nice surprise. We enjoyed our stay.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - The buffet breakfast was not very good.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Other than that everything was fine but those mattress was kind of hard or too firm could have been nice it would have been soft but it got a better night sleep.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Amateur hour - After waiting in line to check in for 20 minutes, our room wasn’t ready when we got t if the line while the one person in front of us got checked in. Instead of being apologetic, we got an attitude. Told us to come back at a specific time so we sat in our car in the lot. Still not ready at that time.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Liked that there was a Sheetz so close .
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room was very clean, bed super comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
- Ed (6/5): - Fairly nice. Over priced for other Marriotts I’ve stayed with. Nothing additional in the room actually less these days. Again nice but over priced
- Christian (10/5): - Clean, friendly, good location. Check in was fast.
