• John (10/5): Can't wait to come back to Aloha Resort - Byron Bay. - Brenda the site manager was amazing in getting us settled in especially at our late arrival time of 7.45pm. She explained everything diligently and pointed us in the right direction from the moment we arrived. The facilities were amazing, gardens manicured, with a wonderful array of vegetation, our room was fresh, clean and the communal kitchen was always well stocked and convenient. We had a ground floor villa that was everything a family of 4 needed and more and also with its own kitchenette which was handy. It was well appointed with a very spacious bathroom. The decor and bedding were quite new, quality towels, and our daughters loved the fact that the bathroom had all the hidden extras they needed but never found at other places we've stayed - eg: hair straightener and hair curler - a must have for every teenage girl. We loved the location, proximity to the beach and not far from town center. As we were just travelling through by car and for a brief stopover and quick dinner in town, we decided to scout around on Booking.Com and that's how we came across the Aloha Resort. We are glad we did because that on-the-spot decision to book and stay for 2 nights uncovered a hidden gem and we will definitely come back and stay longer upon our return to Byron Bay later this year. We had access to the one internal parking spot next to our villa which was super convenient, but everyone else had to settle for on street parking. Not a deal breaker but can be a little cumbersome getting to your belongings when required. Otherwise, quite frankly, there was nothing we really didn't like about Aloha Resort. We travel often and the Aloha Resort was definitely a place I'd recommend without hesitation.

• Anne Marie (10/5): Perfect stay - The lovely little extras. We had cereal, juice, milk, loaf and Easter eggs upon arrival. Well equipped with everything needed for our stay. Big comfy beds, very clean, pool and a 10 min (maybe less) walk into town. Nothing it was great! If booking and you have mobility problems then make sure to ask for ground floor apartment as there were quite a few steps up to our accommodation.

Each room is a it’s own free standing studio apartment. The breakfast is more than adequate and caters to all tastes. The location is a walkable distance to the town center so is free of noise but still central. It’s also one block from the most gorgeous beach. Overall it’s a ten.

We checked in and had a good rest. The shower temperature in the bathroom is not stable enough, and the heating in the room is not enough. I feel a little cold when I sleep.

The villa itself was well appointed, well decorated and comfortable. The WiFi was strong, bed was cozy and the AC unit worked like a charm. The covered patio outside each villa is so nice. We had rain one day and were still able to enjoy the outdoors without getting wet. 6 days was not long enough! The location to town and to the beach is a short, easy walk. We can’t recommend this spot enough. We cannot wait to return! Everything was top notch!

• Jethro (9/5): Clean. Convenient. Comfortable. - Very clean rooms and apartments. Comfortable bed. Convenient little kitchenette. What I really liked was the breakfast room. It is a full kitchen with a fully stocked fridge - Milk (full cream and lite), fruits, yoghurts, eggs, butter - as well as fresh bread and Nespresso coffee, along with basic staples to cook and condiments for toast. A dishwasher too and plenty of space to cook for yourself. Excellent! I also made use of the small pool and it was clean, deep and refreshing to plunge in. Street parking was plentiful and always available right outside the property. It is also an easy 15 minute walk to town and to Main Beach. The price. $600 per night for a studio apartment/room. It’s outrageous. However, all of Byron Bay over New Years is outrageously expensive.

• Julie (9/5): - Really lovely bed and breakfast apartment. The communal kitchen is always open and any guests can help themselves to a breakfast selection or snacks. No cooking facilities in the apartment but everything available in the communal kitchen. Our little villa was beautifully and tastefully kitted out and very clean. Super powerful hot shower. The pool looked good but we didn't use it. The managers are really nice and helpful. Parking really easy on the street. No worries at all. There was nothing.8

• shadi (6/5): It was okay but not great - The room was nice and bed was comfortable. We were there for 5 nights and our towels were changed only once. The dirty towels were outside our room for 4 days and never removed. The garbage bins in the room were never emptied and beds weren’t made. There was really no service that was provided. It was more like an air bnb in that sense. We paid extra for the breakfast and expected something better but it was self service (with eggs and bread provided) and there was some cereal/yogurt.

• Valerie (10/5): Fantastic stay, would happily return when in Byron Bay next - Welcoming staff, comfortable beds and loved the communal kitchen for breakfast. Walking distance into town along the beach or footpath. Ubers plentiful and quick to respond for night time dinners. Busy to cross the road to get to the beach, not easy to find how to get to the beach at first.

• Britta (9/5): Very comfortable and relaxing stay in the heart of Byron. Would book the same apartment again. - Loved the location. Easy walk into town. Very clean and comfortable. A little noisy as it’s on the main road into town but not annoyingly so.
• Peter (8/5): - The layout of the establishment was nice and facilities are good . The breakfast area is shared but still clean and has everything you need. The room living was slight small even the bathroom was huge. The only disappointment the response from the staff on our exit when we dropped the key off. Also im sure we can have better coffer in the room
• Justine (10/5): Home away from home, and a place we’d definitely book again. - What a treat. Our studio apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. A particularly unexpected treat was the beach bag and beach towels. The breakfast room was fantastic. Nespresso machine, fresh bread and fruit and everything you could possibly need (including bacon, eggs, avocado and tomato) to create a delicious breakfast.
• Kopernikus14 (8/5): Gutes Hotel, zentrumsnah. - Gutes Apartmenthotel, sehr großzügig, relativ neu und gepflegt. Zentral gelegen, Ortszentrum fußläufig erreichbar. Kleiner Swimmingpool, aber ok. Strandtücher und Strandlaken im Zimmer mit Tasche verfügbar. Parkplatz direkt am Eingang. Leider kein Housekeeping incl. kein Wechsel der Handtücher. Frühstück war bei uns inbegriffen, man musste es sich allerdings im Gemeinschaftsraum selber machen.

• Lenka (10/5): Great place to chill in Byron - We loved our stay at Aloha! Great location with walking distance to the beach and also to town. Very chilled vibe with nicely set up rooms. We stayed at the double bedroom apartment. We loved the modern beach style decor, lots of natural light, balcony with a dining table and the whole feel of the place including eggs, milk and juice in the fridge ready for breakfast! Thank you Brenda for being so accommodating and welcoming. We will be back!

• Natalie (9/5): Lovely spot to stay in Byron Bay - Quiet, clean and cosy, and a short walk to Town - clean room with a cosy and bright vibe. Staff were helpful and nice, lovely all day communal kitchen area which was well stocked with breakfast items, teas and coffee. Hotel is conveniently located to the centre of town Room was a little smaller than expected, and had a long staircase to carry luggage up.
• Bethany (10/5): Perfect place to stay! Wish we had longer! - Super clean, lovely rooms and a pool! Complimentary breakfast was great - lots of choice and it was a help yourself which was amazing with a toddler! A little bit out of central but it was only 15 mins walk which we enjoyed!
