Guest Reviews
- Tyrone (5/5): All good - NA Breakfast needs help
- Waylin (1/5): A 230$ stay should have only been a 160$ stay - Old food in fridge shower wasn’t clean toilet seat was broke room wasn’t vacuumed and they reused sheets from guest before me
- Lunsford (1/5): Bad - Didn't eat You charged me and the hotel did
- Shirley (5/5): Decent, but things could have been better. - Comfortable, breakfast was decent, clerks were friendly, located in a good area. No elevator, and we were on 3rd floor and I have problems with my leg. Also, not enough regular coffee in room. I asked for more and the clerk gave me decaffeinated. Also, I paid for a king size bed, and got two full size beds. That's not a big deal.
- Onepiece (10/5): -
- Tyrone (6/5): - The fruit Breakfast is not Breakfast without breakfast meat !
- Tyrone (5/5): - Don't understand about the no breakfast thing meat thing !
- Tyrone (6/5): - Overcharging No breakfast meat, every quality inn that I stayed at has full breakfast menu. This seems kinda weird.
- Savannah (3/5): - I like the location of the property and prices were fair. We did find a bedbug so we had to move rooms after we had already settled in in the middle of the night and there's not an elevator so we had to drag everything up and downstairs because the second room we were giving was not up to our standards. So we moved to a third room.
- Dave (5/5): Ok but far from great. - Breakfast was not good. Front desk help not to friendly. Accent made them hard to understand. Breakfast and staff.
- Guest (8/5): -
- David (7/5): -
- Jason (3/5): room was clean but the lights didn't work and the TV remote didn't work. - got a king room, all but 1 light worked in the room.
- Joshua (1/5): Horrifying - The new carpet was about it The bed bugs !!!!! They refused of refund when multiple people in our group asked the were all in different rooms at different levels and ends of the hotel and still find them is beyond sick sent my wife in a panic attack for the entire weekend.
- Pfouts (9/5): I will be back - It was great The coffee could have been hotter
- Jeffrey (7/5): - Good area Breakfast was lame
- Aujuwa (8/5): -
- Lorie (10/5): -
- Richards (9/5): -
- Sierra (7/5): -
- Ce’Aira (5/5): - There were false eyelashes stuck to the cover. There was hair in the sink and bathroom wall
- Molly (1/5): I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone! - Honestly nothing It was disgustingly dirty
- Melena (10/5): Overall good - Very clean Close to where I need to go
- Brendan (1/5): Underwhelming - I didn’t like that the shower looked so dirty that I didn’t take a shower in it. Also, there was a booger on my wall near the light switch.
- Ashley Buzzard (3/5): - The beds are horrible I got no sleep.
- Higdon (8/5): -
- Theodore (2/5): Won't ever return. - Location was good. No roaches or other insects. Cheaper than other options in the area. Breakfast was poor. The first morning they were out of everything except cereal and waffles. No eggs, sausage or potatoes. No coffee cups or creamer. The second morning they has eggs, but no sausage or bacon. The few potatoes I saw were burnt and dried hard.
The bed was really hard, the pillows felt like a bag with a few cotton balls in it. I has to use three and then just barely adequate. The bathroom was dirty, mildew in shower. Shower head was mildewed and crusty.
- Sheila (4/5): The room was unclean and smelled. - It wasn’t the cleanest hotel. Rooms were small. Advertised a hot breakfast. Only had potatoes and a small spoonful of eggs remaining at 6:30 am. The few spoons of eggs was the only protein available. The heat in the room smelled so bad that we turned it off. There was bologna frozen to the freezer shelf. The microwave smelled like curry when you opened it.
- Nik (10/5): -
- Tiffany (8/5): Great people/staff, kept property clean. Great location! - People were very nice! Kept breakfast area stocked and clean. Bathroom tub floor was falling in, the plastic was fine but could tell the floor underneath was very damaged. Breakfast needs more options for warm foods, the eggs and potatoes were not very tasty eggs seemed like cooked yolks but it was great otherwise still was plenty to choose from as alternatives.
- Higdon (10/5): -
- John (7/5): Check in good and departure. - Great location to where we where going. Good eating in area. Hotel seemed cut up. No elevator and first floor windows to outside scary.
- Heather (1/5): -
- Alfred (9/5): See previous question. - I didn't eat breakfast. Location great. Clean and met my needs. Also, I requested my room to be on the first floor due to my leg injury. All turned out great.
- Kyra (9/5): Overall good experiences - Good location, Good breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. After my payment was processed for the amount that was told , Twenty to the store to find my account was charged an additional $20. instead of contacting me or taking responsibility for the mistake instead my card was charged without my permission for the "new" amount.
- Matthew (3/5): Thankfully, we were only there for a night and checked in late - Location The property was not clean. The rooms were messy. The bathrooms were not clean properly and the mattresses were worn out.
- Seymour (7/5): -
- Carolyn (5/5): One night was enough don’t recommend if you can’t do stairs - Did not try breakfast It is old and outdated and the carpet was dirty. My socks were filthy after walking on carpet. I asked for a first floor and still had to use stairs very noisy.
- Jason (10/5): Great stay - Nice room
- Clark (3/5): - We stayed at the hotel the fact that there was no elevator wrapping if you have to keep climbing up and down the stairs, the continental breakfast was code and let’s not start with the room. The room floor is disgusting. There was a dead roach behind the TV and I realize that after my daughter pulled the blanket back and a live roach was running, so it was not a pleasant day.
- Scott (2/5): - Close to the hall of fame. Horrible breakfast, not much room to eat.
- Myers (3/5): - Location No water pressure , you either have super hot water or cold water nothing in the middle , and the first towel I went 2 use had stains on it.
- Wendy (4/5): the other room we had needed to be cleaned better - i had made a mistake and got a room, forgot where i booked it at and then found out it was this same hotel. so we arrived with 2 rooms for us, we were told they canceled one. but we couldn't get a refund. accidents happen, we should have been able to get our money back.
- Breanna (5/5): -
- Mark (4/5): -
- David (2/5): Worst Quality Inn i have been in. - Location Not clean. No chair in the room to sit in. Desk said only chair in rooms is office chair. Sink didn't drain. Flower bed full of thistle. Out of breakfast by 8 . Always waiting for coffee. Good thing dunkin was across the street. Bed went bong bong when you rolled over. Bed looked like had been slept in. Wore my clothes to bed.
- Sherry (6/5): - Staff was super friendly Smoking area far from handicap parking and covered with litter
- Steed (1/5): Roaches - The roaches did a decent job staying out of my stuff They have roaches
- Chelsea (3/5): -
- Brannan (1/5): Do not stay here !!!! - Nothing Everything, floors felt like you were falling thru them , it was dirty, ice machine not working, no elevator, broken chair , did not look like pictures advertised, no one at front counter and there printer was broken to get a reciept. Also there was a bug in the bathroom.
- Oliver (10/5): - Food and the stay in the room vas very comfortable The bed had a loud creek when you rolled over
- Arnette (6/5): - The beds were only fair and the heater/air conditioner was loud.
- Justin (10/5): -
- Wendy (7/5): - bed was comfortable, location was fine, the room was just ok. the corners in the bathroom were nasty. Need to clean better,
- Blanton (4/5): Would not stay here again - Close to college where we were attending a youth conference Looked like ashes on the bedspread, bathtub did not look like it had been cleaned and could not find anyone at 730am ask about condiments for breakfast.
- Lawrence (3/5): - Clean The beds was hard
- Bechtol (4/5): It was nice but a little dirty, beds were uncomfortable - Location was good for what I needed, breakfast was good. The first room I was in had cockroaches!!! They did give me a new room though. And the beds were not comfortable and the "free" wifi did not work.
- Pamela (6/5): -
- Dawne (2/5): - It was affordable The bed springs popped everytime you moved. The breakfast was minimal. You could hear everyone around you
- Jason (2/5): - They didn't have my reservation when I got there.
- Kathleen (6/5): - Smelly, burnt out light bulbs. Lack of unused outlets,
- Eric (8/5): - Great property. It was pretty quiet, which was a plus. Right next to a Dunkin Donuts. My only complaint was the beds were pretty hard. Other than that, I'd probably stay again.
- Steve (4/5): - Positives are : the staff were friendly, the parking lot is well lit at night , shopping and restaurants close by
Negatives : poor mattress, terrible condition of the pillows (felt like a bag of rags in a pillow case ) hair dryer only worked for 3 minutes and then it was too hot and turned off ,
- debra (6/5): Satisfactory - Key cards didn't work well, took several tries to open door
- Clare (4/5): You get what you pay for. - Comfortable bed Upon entering the room - Wet washcloth with open bar of soap & wrapper on sink in bathroom. Metal rod across back of toilet - reason? No safety bar in bathtub. L side of darkening curtains - some were falling off. R side hard to open & close. Had to ask when someone would empty trash in room, or get fresh towels. I was there 4 days.
- Parsons (8/5): -
- Kimberly (6/5): - 1. Front desk check in lady professional and friendly.
2. No elevators. Steps only for those who this is an issue. Check in lady helped carry luggage upstairs.
3. Was told they were using new cleaning staff, sooo first room had an unmade bed and used towels. Second room had used wash cloth on shower rail and hair in sink, bathtub, and inside made bed. Third room had a broken towel rod on back of toilet and toilet handle needed to be held down to flush. We asked for new sheets to change the beds ourselves.
4. This was a booked three day stay. If it matters to you, you will need to ask for fresh towels daily and your trash can to be emptied. No one comes in voluntarily to tidy the room, clean, or empty trash.
5. Breakfast was decent, although on the last day the milk in one of the pitchers was sour.
- Michael (6/5): - Room had a mildew smell, found a live roach in the bathroom, as well as unknown bugs in both beds, one of which bit me. Upon returning two my room with my two daughters, the lobby and hallway to my room reeked of weed
- Jeyla (4/5): - bed bugs, dirty rooms, worn down. only positive is the staff.
- Dana (6/5): - Perfectly acceptable place to stay for a short weekend in Canton
- Debra (6/5): - Quiet , even tho, was close to Highway . Wash clothes were dirty and out of soaps !
- Tiffani (1/5): Very disappointing! - Location First of all, the pictures on the website were not even taken at the hotel. The place was noting like the pictures or how it was advertised. The breakfast tasted spoiled and they didn’t even have coffee. I will never go back there again. I have never written a review before, but want to make sure people don’t waste their money on this hotel.
- Daniel (8/5): - The location is decent, among all the North Canton retail, but it's basic accommodations. The room was clean and in reasonable shape, but the common areas were showing some wear. In particular, the carpeting in the hallways was dingy and the doors to the rooms were a little battered. The hallway lighting was dim. Breakfast was iffy - scrambled eggs that I'm not sure were real, lukewarm coffee. At least the waffle iron worked. It's acceptable if you're looking for a place to lay your head for a night, perhaps not the best for a long-term stay.
- Samuel (6/5): Mediocre Stay. - The staff when I was checking in was not the most friendly. I had called early as I was in town quicker then expected and asked if I could early check in the response was a short no followed by a prompt hang up before I could ask another question. When I was booking I had specifically asked for a pet-friendly room as I have an ESA that travels with. They never called to verify and upon arrival had a somewhat confrontational encounter about the error that I wasn't tracking on in regards to my room, which would have been my next question earlier if I hadn't been hung up on. I luckily had my ESA letter and the situation was rectified albeit should have not happened in the first place. Both situations resulted in me feeling disheartened and made me feel like the hotel didn't care about my needs or stay. The overall shape of the hotel was okay, the bed was very firm and hard to sleep in, but room was clean and what I needed for the weekend. I think in future instances I may either spend more at another hotel or look to stay with family and spend more time commuting to my business ventures.
- Connie (4/5): - When we arrived the room was very cold. When the heat was turned on, it set off the smoke alarm. We informed the front desk and the attendant was very prompt to check it out. We really appreciated how quick she came to the room. However, we found a cockroach crawling across the bed. A message was left for the staff to inform.
- david (8/5): - Ok place for the money
- Brian (10/5): - I like this hotel because very quiet and affordable in town!!!
- David (10/5): - Close to the freeway and the Football Hall of Fame.
- Jerry (4/5): - The majority of the electrical outlets in the room didn't work. I had to plug my phone in by the bathroom sink outlet, which only worked after I bent the blades of my plug out a bit to make up for the loose outlet.
The bed made weird noises whenever you moved on it. it sounded like the bed had not been assembled properly.
- Annette (8/5): - Its a great place , very clean and quiet
- MacKenzie (2/5): - Cockroaches in my bathroom.
- Manuel (8/5): - Please stop calling me Manuel his email is manueltaranco@aol.com. He is my best friend. I am steven4242@comcast.net
- Danielle (4/5): - Cheap option but with limited resources. No elevator, breakfast area not great, also not very neat. Still an option if you don’t need to enjoy the hotel facilities and just need a place to sleep
- Vincent (6/5): - Left for the night and returned to a dirty room. I was told unless we asked our room was not cleaned. You get what you pay for.
- Roberta (2/5): - This property has NO ELEVATOR, gross breakfast and horrible bed. My sink was cracked the whole way across. Horrible.
- Darrell (10/5): - Room clean staff redpec8
- Tyrona (6/5): - Excellent staff!!
The customer service was great they showed the staff made sure that they handled my complaint concerning my room. I had to change my room twice, both rooms were not properly clean, bed linen, bathroom bathtub was dirty. permanently stains of shower floor and walls.
I finally was able to get a different room, I had to get some cleaning supplies.
Staff was great, breakfast was great.
- Joseph (8/5): - It met my necessity.
- Kathy (4/5): Good location. Dire need of updates. - The staff was wonderful. In dire need of updates. Old and dirty. Stains on bed sheets and towels
- Adel (9/5): Agradable - Limpio Baño tupido
- Julie (6/5): - Close to 77 and less than 10 minutes from HOF but very dated, needs remodeling, breakfast ok
- Je-Uei (8/5): Good! Love it, if I go back to Ohio, that would be my top choice - It seems very close to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and that's what I want. I think over all is fine. Clean room, spacious one with lots of TV channels I could watch.
- Timika (2/5): - Would not recommend, there was no elevator,no ice machine on the floors, the beds was like sleeping on metal very uncomfortable
- Lilley (7/5): -
- Efren (8/5): - Very good & affordable rate
- KRISTINE (4/5): Very budget. - The first room we were given smelled musty/damp. No surprise because it below street level. They moved us to another basement room, but it wasn't much better. The sink had a major crack across the back of it, but it was functional. The pillows were lumpy. The sheets made me itch. Room was always dark, not much light. There were no USB ports and only a few outlets for changing. Lamp shades were cracled and appeared to have mold? on them,
- Gregory (10/5): - No issues
- Robert (4/5): - The commode(toilet) was real low, it was also loose and the floors were dirty.
- Angela (8/5): - Very outdated and old. Front desk staff very friendly.there was a used bath towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Breakfast was fair.
- Jennifer (6/5): Good room but would have loved to not take the stairs! - It was easy to find and our room was clean and exactly what we booked but it had no elevator and I have nerve damage in my back so that sucked. But the room was good. No elevator and we were on an upper floor.
