Maria (6/5): - Bathroom needs attention, shower room ceiling is falling , they are mostly dirty, noise from the kitchen (tv on loud, people talking loud ) until the dawn 2 o'clock in the morning while silence from 11pm to 9am is supposed to happen. As to the front desk Julio and Erick treat people professionally…but there’s a woman unfortunately I do not remember her name, which does not. Kitchen : the fridge is a mess and dirty…

Renato (2/5): Terrible experience - Terrible experience at front desk. The room is listed as 2 people but it is actually two beds in a giant mixed shared room. Staff has no power - or desire - to help. Tried to contact the reservations department myself as the front desk was not calling them but they could not do much either. Ended up booking another hotel, therefore I cannot review things like cleanliness and comfort.

Terry (8/5): - If you book through Expedia there will be additional fees - which was not exciting to discover when you're traveling and ready to rest, and the hotel doesn't budge on that which was upsetting.... otherwise the staff was great, the cleaners worked their hardest to keep up with all the traffic pool got shut down right as I arrived and wasn't back up 5 days later unfortunately. and one of the showers was rusted and the roof was coming in. honestly after the frustration around hidden fees and I got into my bed, I was comfortable and it was a safe landing pad I appreciate the attentive front desk and the crew working there

Cleanliness of the bathroom and shower was terrible. There’s just 4 bathrooms an 5 showers for 5 people!! People in the restrooms were complaining about their stuff getting stolen at the showers. Kitchen very dirty and people making noises and talking very loud until 12 am. Couldn’t sleep well. Skip this place

The toilets were very dirty, only cleaned once a day, and almost every time I went in there, I found feces inside. At night, nobody turned off the lights and there was no management controlling the noise. There were no outlets in the dorm, so charging my phone was a real struggle. The lockers under the beds were not practical at all — every time you opened or closed them, they made so much noise that it disturbed everyone around.

Hunain (6/5): - The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach, bus stops, and dining spots along Collins, Washington, and Ocean Drive. However, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. I was initially assigned a bed with a broken locker and later moved to a top bunk partially covered by a low ceiling, which made it difficult to sleep. The mattress was poorly maintained and caused back discomfort. While the staff is friendly and the cleaners do a great job, the lack of monitoring in common areas and bathrooms is an issue. Guests often leave restrooms dirty and unflushed, and loud TV use in the common area starts early and goes late into the night, disturbing others. More oversight and improved maintenance would enhance the overall experience.

The atmosphere feels very cared for thanks to her, the hotel is located in a good area, there are many shops nearby.

Bianca (4/5): - When you check in you get a set of card keys for the entrances of where you’ll be staying. They were unnecessary as all areas are accessible without key cards. You, or anyone else, can enter any part of the sleeping area whenever you’d like without access limitations. Bathrooms and showers were dirty for the entirety of our stay with toilet paper in the showers and in clogged toilets, but none to use in the toilet paper holder areas. However, front desk staff were nice and the location is convenient- very close to the beach. Overall, I would recommend staying anywhere else.

Akin (2/5): - I was denied entry to the hotel because they have inconsistent operations. They took my money and I didn’t get to stay because they did not accept my ID. I booked there based on the fact that they accepted the same ID the previous month. This cost me money I did not have budgeted. I had to borrow money to book somewhere else and ended up with no booking at all. It is beyond me how they can justify taking my hard earned money without providing me any service. The host said that I would have to get a refund through the Expedia app but when Expedia contacted them for the refund they did not reply. Then when they finally responded after procrastinating and causing lots of confusion and frustration they denied the refund even though they provided no service or lodging whatsoever. No explanation and no refund.
Angelina (2/5): - If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at Posh Hostel was filled with false advertising, safety concerns, and complete disregard from management. The hostel was nothing like what was advertised online, and after being forced to leave due to serious privacy and security issues, we have been ignored and dismissed regarding our refund request. The most shocking issue was the shower privacy misrepresentation. The listing showed black, frosted doors, but in reality, they were completely clear. This meant that anyone nearby could see inside, making it an extremely unsafe and uncomfortable situation. Worse, male guests openly watched women shower, and cleaning staff entered while another guest was inside. The lack of basic privacy and respect for guests was unacceptable. Additionally, the lockers were filthy and unusable, filled with debris and not secure for storing belongings. The pool area was also misleading, appearing clean and luxurious in photos but in reality, dirty and unmaintained, with stained pillows and trash everywhere. When we reported these issues, management assured us that a refund could be processed through Expedia. However, after leaving and following up, they denied the refund and ignored our emails, despite having photo and video proof of their misrepresentation. Posh Hostel is a scam, hiding behind deceptive marketing. This experience has been a nightmare, and this hostel should be removed from all booking platforms.
Shavon L (10/5): - Really enjoyed my stay here at Posh!🌞💝✨ I consider myself mildly claustrophobic and germaphobic haha, but this place was nicely cleaned and if something wasn't (since this is a mixed hostel and some people can get really messy...🤢...🥰) they would clean right away for the short time when I was inside, for I was outside for most of my stay. And plenty of outdoor space and furniture areas to enjoy. I really enjoyed that! Plus the indoor amenities such as laundry, TV room and space was nice! I just want to add one suggestion for improved safety for everyone💝 The locker for the upper bunk should be assigned on the same side as the ladder that they have to come down on. Instead of the bottom bunk person having a locker right below the ladder that the upper bunk person has to climb down causing the person on the upper bunk to have to wait until the person on the bottom bunk is finished rummaging through their locker so they can close it for them to safely come down. Overall, this was a great stay at Posh and there's nothing that can't be worked out! Five stars, I will return!🌞💝✨

DAVID (4/5): Lieux sympa - population laisse à désirer - Problème avec EXPEDIA qui me facturent 2 FOIS le prix solo (il y a des offres à 27 ,54,81 qui ne correspondent à rien) . Accueil un peu tendu à l hotel mais on m'a trouvé une solution pour qu au final cela me coute moins cher( MERCI ) . Le lieux est superbe .. grande salle de vie avec grande cuisine ouverte , un énorme ilot central, deux grands canapés, une grande TV, 3-4 coins pour aller sur son ordi .. Ensuite ,on descend dans le dortoir deux grandes pièces où il y aurait 20 lits superposés .. deux ilots de toilette et SDB. le Tout est sale .. un peu partout . dans la pièce de vie et dans les dortoirs. Il y a du personnel de ménage qui reste plusieurs heures mais ils ne nettoient pas TOUT tous les jours.. (des taches sont restées sur le lavabo deux jours de suite) . Les personnes sont aimables (sauf un qui vraisemblablement en a marre de nettoyer la saleté des autres). Le problème ce sont les personnes qui viennent dormir 80% doivent être bien 20% des gens sales mal elevés.. font tomber de la nourriture ne nettoient pas. roule des cigarettes dans les toilettes laissent du tabac partout..allongé avec les chaussures sur le canapé ou toi tu t assis 10 minutes après en short ou jambes nues.. des gens qui parlent fort au réveil, téléphones etc.... il faudrait que quelqu'un de l hoteldorme dans le dortoir pour mettre un peu d ordre et expulser certains si besoins (plusieurs personnes sont parties car ambiance lourde + saleté)..dommage

Ava (2/5): Never Stayin g here again - My friend and I stayed in this place my friend though is a little older than me and had a bad shoulder that was recently undergone surgery we told them this as soon as we found out that we staying upper bunk bed also the bed numbers are so hard to find that we went back to let them know in the front desk and the 3rd time I told to just come and show it to us. They said that we can talk to someone next day see if there’s going to be a bottom be available. But every time we tried talking to someone they will tell us it’s already reserved even though it there were 2 bottom beds available the day we asked again for the 3rd time and they not only very un accommodating but no customer service skills
J6391PNjorges (8/5): Good Deal for the Price and Location - I went on a solo trip last year and it was my very first trip to Miami. Since I did not want to drive and wanted to be able to walk to places while having a roof over my head during the night, I ended up at this place. Having been in many youth hostels myself, I already had an idea what the experience would be like. Granted that because it is a youth hostel, it is targeted more towards people on a budget, which was fine with me. Plus, it gave me the chance to meet and talk to people there rather than if I just had my own private room. I found the location to be ideal as it was within walking distance of restaurants, stores, public transportation, and best of all, the beach! I could walk from my room at the hostel and end up in the beach in about 15 minutes. The surrounding area is safe. I enjoyed the pool not only because it was clean, but since it was on the rooftop, it offered a bit of privacy especially if you want to quietly relax away from the crowds. Be aware that it has limited hours like at other hotels. I think the last time I was there it was from roughly 9 AM- 7 PM. I liked the fact that we were all assigned a lock for our lockers to put away our luggage. The lockers are under each bed. Perhaps the only drawbacks that I could think of were that unlike all the other youth hostels that I've used in the past, Posh South Beach DOES NOT include a free breakfast. It wasn't really an issue to me since I could easily buy a quick bite at many places around the area, and it isn't a big expense. The restrooms could use a bit of an update, but they were clean for most of my stay there. Overall, I'm really thinking of returning here on my upcoming Miami trip this year. I was satisfied.

The space was pleasant, stylish, and well-equipped. Their kindness and responsiveness made our stay stress-free and unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the beach and nice restaurants.

Mike (6/5): - I’ve been staying at many hostels across the country and the one thing I’m learning is “you get what you pay for” holds much truth to hostels. This was the cheapest hostel I’ve stayed at but so many disadvantages with the cheaper price. The Posh South Beach Hostel is the only one I’ve visited that doesn’t have any in-bunk accommodations such as a fan, light, and electricity to charge your phone. I also didn’t like the shower area. The positive is it was a very clean shower; however, there is no bench or shelf to put clothes on. Your best option is to get undressed at your bunk and throw on a towel to walk to the shower. The glass around the showers allows people outside to see a blurred version of your naked body. This also was the only hostel where I had to make my own bed upon arrival (more difficult if you have a top bunk too). This was also the only hostel I’ve visited that charges a $50/night deposit. So if you stay 5 nights, that’s $250 plus your original rate. Now with that said it is in a great location for Miami night life and is about 2 blocks from Miami Beach. It’s also against the rules to use a sheet or towel as a privacy curtain around your bed. Which I found odd since I had a privacy curtain at all other hostels I’ve stayed at. If you’re single and self confident, like I am, this is a great place, but don’t bring your family, or significant other, here. That would be my suggestion. Now Under the right circumstances, I would stay here again.

I wasn't sure exactly where to go for check-in and was grateful that the desk reception person came outside and ushered me to the check-in desk and then on to the hostel. A locker under each bed was spacious and lockable. All my questions were amiablt answered. There was an elevator so my suitcases did not have to be lifted and pulled on the stairs. It was a good value for the money. The weather was pleasant.( I expected it to be muggy)

Yoana Hristova (4/5): - The hotel tells me that expedia write fake information aboutvtheir rooms. I paid 100$ for 8 bed female dormitory. Instead I was put in 30 bed mixed dormitories. I just tried to talk to the reception and he told me that they don't have this, they are refusing to transfer me to 8 bed dormitory although i paid for this. They are insisting that they don't have it available and it's falth of expedia, and that they have nothing to do with qhat expedia sell. They refused to offer the services i paid for. This hotel is extremely dirty on top of everything. The receptionist is Eric, the ruddest person ever. This is realy horible not welcoming, and not comfortable pleace. Do not recommend

Melanie (10/5): - Stayed at this property and enjoyed every minute. There is a full kitchen minus a stove and move lounge area with TV. The pool was the best, a bit cool but so nice to have. Beds have individual locking drawers, metal and a bit loud but big enough to fit your carry on luggage. Bathrooms and showers are coed so not alot of privacy. People will complain about anything. So one bathroom is without a lock... Don't use that one! The private dorms are very nice. You get a security code and key card to enter. I never felt afraid. Great Happy Hour say the local bar about 8 blocks away. Took me 25 minutes to walk and the drinks are starting. Great way to meet people. I can't wait to return, would definitely come back to same location.

mldriessen (2/5): Worst hostel I ever stayed at - Terrible experience, the shared living room is in the same space as the 54 beds. So when trying to get to sleep in the middle of the night you could still listen to all the conversations of other people. So because of the big room, don’t expect any privacy at all. The only wall outlet is in the corner of the room. Didn’t feel very safe to charge my phone there. The staff is rude and they’re not willing to help or give any advice. When we arrived the beds were dirty and filled with sand. The showers (that didn’t have a lock) had not been cleaned in days, but you had to put your clothes down on the dirty floor anyways, because the cabins were lacking of any hooks for your clothes. Great that the hostel has washing and drying machines, but you’ll need around 16 quarter coins to let both the machines work. However the staff cannot help you change your dollars into quarters, neither do they have any advice on where to go change them. Because of the pool and the location next to the beach this hostel has great potential, but due to the total lack of interest in customers and customers satisfaction I would never recommend this place.
Verified traveler (6/5): Don't bring expensive items! - Posh is a nice hostel.I have stayed at posh 2 stays.I have had 2 thefts.I will not leave anything of real value.I will ask my bank for a safe deposit box in the future.Do all employees have access to lockers?.Be careful! P.S. Can a person bring their own lock?.

alankV966HS (10/5): Posh South Beach - Rina. great service, the beds are comfortable, the only negative is the beds don't have plug ins to charge your phone or PC , but overall for the price it's a great place to stay if your looking to crash a few nights in south beach
Muthukumar (4/5): - Hostel is in the thick of things on south beach/ocean drive and collins Ave. You are in the middle of the party. Checkin, access everything was smooth. Staff changed my bed next day when the lock didn't work smoothly. Toilets aren't cleaned early enough in the morning; Lights are out until 10.30 am and staff come to clean only around that time. Toilet was a mess on one of the mornings (was a Sunday, they may not have had cleaning staff on Sunday; I don't know); thankfully it was my checkout day and didn't use it on that morning. I have stayed in dorm style hostels before. But Posh was little odd as all dorm beds were crammed in 3 huge halls. The upper bed doesn't leave enough height to the ceiling in some of the beds and is a safety hazard. Also feel the space is a fire safety hazard; no way they can evacuate easily. They had a pool which I didn't use as I was busy exploring the city. I visited Key West on one of the days; the coach I booked picked me in front of white claw hotel which was convenient in the morning.

329onur_ (10/5): Posh south beach hostel - it was really good experience for me it was my first time stayed in hostel.it was very clean pool there are so nice people and very friendly workers that so helpful.especially rina she is really love with her job she was so cute thanks for everything i hope next year i will be in same hostel.thank you Rina.
V7772EY_ (10/5): Perfect place! - Was for a long time. Very cozy hostel. Attention to visitors. Solving non-standard issues. Rina and Lee are just great. Excellent accessibility to places of entertainment and leisure. The ocean is very close. Will definitely return next time.
990regp (10/5): Posh hostel Miami - Excellent hostel,staff were great especially Rina who was always helpful beautiful well maintained pool and facilities were well maintained . The staff were also very courteous and would try there best to help in any way they could. Would recommend a visit
