Also our room was allocates upstair, the stepa were very steep and narrow step and awkwars ro carry baggage. The bathroom nees a more thorough clean, grout between tiles weee mouldy and tapware grime aeound them. The main window was close those gusts of wibd was ckmjng rhrough with curtain mocing. For the amount we paid for the stay we felt it wasnt worth it.

- Ken (9/5): It really met our expectations, and it was a really great stop over. - Very courteous staff, we were informed about outside guards due to to painting and maintenance, which was excellent, giving us a choice to stay or cancel, thought that was excellent. Overall, it was great, and we got to see penquins at night, which is why we stayed in Stanley. could'n t fault the place or staff, probably didn't like that we had to leave so early.

We fill the spa and turned on jet then all the dirt came out and so dirty we couldn’t use the spa. When you clean the spa must clean the jet too

The room had a great view slightly blocked at the time of our stay by scaffolding although we we received some compensation for the loss from the friendly lady at reception up at the hotel. The room was good value and I'd choose it again.

The rooms are spacious, clean and everything you need for a short stay. Staff are uber friendly and the free washing facilities are very welcoming, as it is rare to see. Will definitely stay again on our getaway trips to Stanley. Having to leave.

- Darren (8/5): Excellent location with comfortable, amenable facilities. - Location is excellent. The Hotel from where the Accommodation is managed has the most wonderful meals. Management was not on site, but this did not impede or disrupt the enjoyment of out stay.

- Kate (8/5): - Location was absolutely beautiful- exceptional. Definite highlight. The room wasn't particularly clean. The drinking glasses and mugs hadn't been washed properly so we had to wash them. Floor hadn't been vacuumed properly - found a chip on the floor. The sink tap in the bathroom sprayed everywhere. There were no bowls. So great location but cleanliness of the room and amenities not great.

- Soos (10/5): - Stanley Village staff went far and beyond to accommodate my husband's request to have a birthday surprise for me of flowers, chocs, and champagne in our room on arrival - wonderful! Nothing at all.
- Judy (9/5): Overall a great stay. - Location, location Pick up of keys was easy at The Stanley Hotel but when we went to drop the keys off at 850am the reception desk was locked & no lock box to drop them in. That's a bit tough when you want to get on the road at a reasonable time.

- Karen (8/5): Spacious room with huge window overlooking the water, giving us a close up view of penguins at dusk. Excellent location, - Location was fantastic - right on the water, directly across the road from Hersey’s seafood restaurant and a short stroll from everything else. Even though every unit was occupied, it didn’t feel busy and we didn’t notice noise. Biggest bonus was seeing penguins strolling past our window right on dusk - what a treat! The parking spots were pretty tight (but everyone seemed to have giant utes). Some of the decor was a bit dated.

- Paul (10/5): Would happily stay here again. - Modern and very well equipped. Amazing location right across from Herseys seafood and easy to walk to everything in town. As we arrived on Boxing Day there were no staff at checkin and we needed to pick up the key from the pub in town. Also had to return the key there which was a little inconvenient.
- colette (10/5): - Great view, lovely room. Comfy and well equipped. Great surprise having a jacuzzi and free laundry facilities. Lots to do in Stanley and fab having free penguin viewing each evening. A number of food options and great heritage buildings. Bit of a windy night first night and quite exposed..would have liked dinner plates and bowls.
