- James (10/5): Suoerb - Breakfast outstanding Nothing
Niets
- Calum (8/5): - The breakfast was lovely Nothing

- Marion (4/5): Unfortunately will not be staying again. - Good , sea front location Musty smell throughout, needs a deep clean and black mold dealt with particularly in shower and dining room patio doors. Should also be different prices for room sizes as ours was cramped despite two other couples in our party paying the same price for the weekend. Host was , however, pleasant and welcoming.
- Alex (8/5): Brilliant hotel with lovely owners - A little family run hotel a short walk from Rothesay, the Hosts were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. The shower water pressure.
- Marion (8/5): -

Cozy hotel. Amy and Dave are lovely, and we fell at home straight away.
Very generous breakfast and attention to our needs.
Amy surprised us with a bottle of bubbly when we told her we came to celebrate our wedding anniversary. How kind of her!
We also enjoyed a few drinks, with Dave at the bar.
Great selection of drinks and cheaper than in a pub!
We will come back and next time we’ll make sure we stay in the big suite with terrace!
Thank you for a very pleasant stay 😊 The lack of pressure in the shower was a negative surprise.
I had to buy dry shampoo as it would have been impossible to rinse my hair.
- bill (10/5): - Absolutely wonderful place. Amy and Dave were the best of host's you could ever meet. The room was fine but the bed was top notch ( I have spinal injuries) and was the best sleep.
Will most definitely be back! All good!
- Colin (10/5): Nice hotel lovely staff and a good location. - The breakfast was nice and hot and tasty and the service was very good the lady who served us was very good and gave us some home made cake to take away, very good. Nothing I was happy with the place and so was my friend.

Breakfast was tasty and Amy was very helpful with suggestions of things to do. There is a small bar on the property, manned by David, which was great. And we left with some of Amy's homemade banana cake!

We got very spoilt upon leaving when Amy our host presented us with a beautiful box of her homemade famous cake to take home. Thank you x We loved our stay and other guests we regulars over and over ways a good sign.
The front terrace facing the sunset is the perfect place for an evening drink.

- Watson (10/5): perfect place to stay , and couldn't ask for better place to stay. - Breakfast was amazing , rooms were spotless and hosts were perfect. 3rd year in a row weve stayed and booked for next year. nothing
- Richard2112 (7/5): Great location - Great location, friendly helpful hosts, comfy bed, cooked breakfast and surprise baked treats to take away from the host. Also nice to mix with locals and other guests in the bar in the evening. The property needs a bit of investment, looks tired and a bit basic and some parts need a good clean. Also quite a lot of clutter in common areas. Rothsay as a whole looks like it may be struggling a little, so times may be hard as well as seasonal. Although these comments might seem harsh, we enjoyed our stay and wish you well.
- Shelley (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Will be back - Breakfast oustanding Shower

- Aidan (10/5): Lovely hotel with amazing hosts and a breathtaking view onto the water - Dave and Amy were both incredibly warm and welcoming during our (my gf and I) visit. When we arrived at the hotel, we met Dave in the Dining area/Bar and he was very polite in greeting us before showing us to our room.
The room was very clean, the bed was soft (which isnt the case in a lot of hotels, but definitely was here) and the view out onto the water was breathtaking; even moreso because the sun was out for our entire time there.
The first morning of our stay we got to meet Amy, who welcomed us to the dining area; and she was very cheerful and greeted us with a smile. We didnt have time for cooked breakfast the first day as we were doing a parkrun, but when we mentioned this to Amy she gifted us a bag filled with treats that she had baked (as she owns a bakery on the island) to give us energy on our run; which was heartwarming and very kind...and Amy, if youre reading this, we both thought the snacks were delicious.
We did have time for a full breakfast the second day of our trip, which was cooked beatifully by Amy.
Honestly, it was a lovely place to stay with two incredible hosts; thank you to both Dave and Amy for being so nice and welcoming to us to your home.
- Teodora (10/5): Lovely place to stay in Bute - The place was very clean and nice. Great hot breakfast included, cooked for us with a delicious irish touch (soda bread!). Owners were very friendly, helpful and recommended lots to do on the island. They even checked ferry times for us and really went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend!

- Emma (8/5): Really friendly and comfortable. - Really friendly hospitable staff and a great location.
Fabulous breakfast that took account of my dietary needs (veggie, no egg.) The WiFi didn't work in my room but it wasn't a major issue that I asked about as Bute is so lovely that I was out walking all day and collapsed in bed every evening!
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (8/5): Very good -
- Joshua (9/5): Superb - We felt well looked after at Summer's Bay and had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was lovely and the hosts were lovely. The location is perfect, only a short walk to the town centre and right at the water's edge with lovely views of the boat coming and going. Would definitely stay again. Shower pressure was a bit low and took a long time to heat up but still perfectly adequate for washing.

Location excellent. Corridor where my room was very dark.

Everything was delicious. The shower was very poor although Amy had warned us about this. The bed was very creaky too .
- Darryl (10/5): Great place to stay and wonderful host & hostess! - Breakfast was great! You won’t leave hungry! No rain but of course the owners couldn’t control that!😂

- Judith (8/5): I was welcomed, cared for and well fed. - Amy and Dave were really welcoming and friendly. Very helpful when there was trouble with the car. An excellent breakfast, generous, hot and cooked perfectly, especially the poached eggs.
The bed was comfortable. There was a problem with water pressure and heat, but eventually it would come through. The bathroom was a little cramped, but it wouldn’t stop me staying there again.
- Murray (8/5): lovely place to stay if we had a bigger room with sea view. - breakfast excellent staff superb and very friendly bigger bathroom chair in room, bigger sink in toilet power shower would be an advantage.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Valerie (10/5): Short break - Great location. Amy was very friendly and welcoming and it felt like a home from home n/a
