Guest Reviews
- Sydney (8/5): It is a cute room, decorated nicely, and was clean. There was no close parking. - There wasn't a breakfast. I should have made clear that I couldn't easily climb stairs.
- Stan (10/5): - Great All good
- Theresa (10/5): - Everything was lovely clean and warm staff were fantastic will definitely come back
- King (10/5): Just had a lovely weekend, we both slept well, the room was so quiet. Enjoyed the short stroll into town. - Lovely bright room ,bed very comfortable. Room at the top so Wi-Fi hit & miss.
- Kay (5/5): - Excellent location, easy to access room and communication was good. The double was two singles put together, the shower wasn't hot and leaked, there was a weird red light on all night we couldn't turn off. We were offered another room but we'd already gone to an event on the other side of town. So we didn't have a great experience unfortunately. Not sure what the other rooms are like but room 9 isn't great at the moment.
- Daley (9/5): - Extra little touches like tooth picks . It had everything we needed. Duvet wasn’t big enough to share for 2 people as it just covered the bed , one of us used the blanket
- Vallis-Taylor (8/5): - Great location, really clean room and friendly owners who were very helpful over the phone The shower wasn’t good at all
- Anthony (10/5): Would deffo stay again there's nothing bad about it. - Amazing breakfast and very courteous owner
- Julian (10/5): Spot on - Clean comfortable perfect location a short walk from the town centre
- Barry (9/5): Very pleasant short break - Excellent There was no dislikes

- David (10/5): Great two night stay over NY. Perfect -
- robert (8/5): - Location was great and room very comfortable Nothing. All was good.
- George (6/5): Overall fine but the drain smells need sorting. - Location, clean and warm No spare loo roll.
Bad smell from drains in bathroom when sink was being used.
- Sammy (8/5): Great location and pleasant staff - Great location Shower pressure not good and shower needs to be on number 10 and still not hot
- Kimberley (10/5): -
- Sharon (7/5): One night stay. - Room was clean, warm and tidy and had everything we needed for our one night stay. We booked this accommodation based on previous reviews. However on arrival it was clear it has changed management and breakfast was no longer included.
We had not been notified of these changes and were very disappointed. We booked believing breakfast to be included in price and all reviews had commented on how fabulous this was.
Work is currently being undertaken on this property in the downstairs rooms which I assume were previously the dining room.
- Christine (9/5): Great location and very comfortable and clean with great room facilities, would stay again ☺️👍 - Very comfortable, clean, warm and great facilities within our lovely bedroom ☺️👍Would stay again
- ian (8/5): Comfortable & very clean - Disappointed there was no breakfast included having paid £90 for one night. Reading the reviews retrospectively, it appears the property is under new ownership? Room was cold when we arrived… staff sorted promptly 👍 No breakfast
- Stephen (7/5): Comfortable but odd stay - Nice location. Comfortable room. Quiet No staff to be seen at any time. When we arrived I wasn’t sure how to get in as no answer at door and no one answered phone when I rang. Luckily I had charge on my phone and found an email explaining to use a code for a key locker to find our key.
Bedroom was nice and amenities all fine. Went to see if there was a breakfast in the morning. Walked into what looked like a dining room to find it empty with no furniture and just a few dirty laundry bags. A window showed through to the kitchen and other areas that also looked empty.
Did not see or hear from anybody for the whole stay which was a little odd.
- Helen (7/5): - Location was in a good place. Everything was explained before arrival. We had booked double/ twin, we got a twin and we were a couple.
- Taryn (8/5): We enjoyed our stay. Be even better when they start doing breakfasts - Close to where we wanted to be. Shower was rubbish. Barely a trickle to wash yourself.
Stairs would be tricky if carrying lots of bags / staying for longer.
Heating on full whack room got very hot in night even for Nov had to find rad and turn it off.
- Lorraine (8/5): Pleasant stay - Rooms were large and quiet surrounding. Bathroom a fair size. Our bed was very comfortable. Good tea, coffee etc I have not stayed at a guest house that doesnt serve breakfast! We accepted it at the time.
Oh and there was no soap to wash your hands with which was odd.
