• Leigh (4/5): Won’t go back even though location was good - Great location Rooms very small, bed against the wall & still no room to move around. Bathroom tiny and couldn’t sit on toilet straight as it was cramped and was set into a small corner. Had to change rooms as first room reeked of cigarette smoke even though there is a no smoking policy!
• Clay (4/5): Disappointing at first as it was much smaller then advertised but all and all not too bad - The location was really good, bed was super comfortable, internet and steaming was fast Staff were a bit cold, no elevator, room was tiny to the extent of not being able to fully sit on the toilet because there wasn’t enough space, shower was so small you can’t bend over, no microwave in the room

Bit tired and grotty (botched DIY repairs, dripping tap) and noise from planes and King St traffic was challenging.

Great for independent budget travellers. Friendly staff, confortable lobby. Fridge in room. Could have used a lift. Lack of table would make it sub-optimal for business travel (which I wasn't, so OK.)

• Lisa (1/5): Not impressed!! - Close walk to different restaurants No parking, staff tried to charge me extra for children that I had already booked and paid for. I had checked in and had the room key and was only asked to pay extra when I asked which of the 2 rooms I booked had the sofa made up. Staff also harassed me by texting & ringing while I was in a meeting to come and pay extra for my children, also came knocking on our room door while my children (teenagers) were in the room alone, asking them to call me.

• Gabrielle (4/5): Disappointed because it was so different than what was advertised. - The room itself was pretty clean. Shockingly small. Do not believe the photos. It was smaller than any photo on the property page. We booked the standard twin room with a shared bathroom and when we got there it was two twin beds pushed together. The room was so small we couldn’t have pushed them apart even if we wanted to. I’m glad I was with a friend I would have been comfortable sharing a bed with anyway. There was no price listed anywhere for the minibar and was charged $10 for water from the bar. The shared bathroom was old and not the cleanest but it wasn’t the worst I’ve seen.
