- Jacob (8/5): Great location & quite compact - Nicely looking hotel in a nice location a little tricky to drive to and from in very narrow streets with only room for one car a lot of the way. Friendly receptionist although fairly slow check-in and not there to open the gate one evening to get the car in. Extremely crowded parking space with cars blocking each other at times. Decent looking room with ok space although very compact bathroom. It was clean but there what appeared to be smeared mosquitos/ blood stains here and there on the otherwise white walls. Very small saltwater pool which was very crowded. The reception takes credit card but not the bar. And I didn't come across any restaurant at the hotel. Plenty bars and hotels just around The corner though. Close to a lively street but not any issues with noise from that in our room. Just between two minute beaches with sunbeds and they have sunbeds Infront of the hotel, which you are automatically charged €15 per person for as a resort fee, so be ready for some extra charges.

- Don (10/5): - This is a great location and nice facilities. There were a few bumps in the process, but that is expected with a newer property. These seemed to be related more to the fact that we booked through Expedia instead of the property. The staff was extremely helpful in sorting it out and helping us feel comfortable.
- VALERY (10/5): Pleasant memories of a hotel by the sea - Very comfortable hotel right on the beach. Amazing views of the sea and mountains from the room. Free beach for hotel residents. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Sea water pool for children. At first, we settled in a very old room, but at our request, they found another one, which we were very pleased with. There is only one drawback: there is no elevator :) The administration responded very quickly and promptly to any requests. Thanks to all! Special thanks to Ivanna!
- albamJ7408VJ (2/5): Disgusting, unfriendly, never again! - This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. It is outdated the beds do not have real mattresses. The towels are old and dirty. Please do not get food and stay here! Pool was so small and absolutely disgusting, also the Rooms. There are 2 different buildings and we were with kids and a stroller and got a room in the neighbor building with no lift on the 3rd Floor!! Rooms smell like urine, my daughter cried because she did not want to stay there (3 years old). We checked out immediately, the receptionist is unfriendly, no refunds and when we wanted to talk to the manager, he did not show up. She communicated with him via Viber, but could also have been a private chat, we wouldn't have known. And right before us, other guests were also fighting and complaining. Never again!
- Ilir (2/5): - Aufenthalt war eine Katastrophe, Rezeption absolut unfreundlich. Kaum hatten wir eingecheckt, wurden wir ins NEBENGEBÄUDE verfrachtet, 3. Stock ohne Lift (wir mit 2 Kindern und Kinderwagen). Das Zimmer war eine absolute Katastrophe, es hat aus dem Bad extrem nach Urin/Stuhl gestunken. Wir haben unsere Sachen gepackt und haben direkt ausgecheckt, da dies eine absolute Zumutung war. Balkon noch dazu direkt teilen mit den Zimmernachbarn. Pool und Poolplatz war dreckig und klein. Lasst euch von den Bildern nicht täuschen! Es gab keine Refundierung, obwohl wir direkt nachdem wir das Zimmer gesehen haben wieder ausgecheckt haben. Rezeption schreibt per Viber mit dem "Manager", das auch eine Privatkonversation hätte sein können. Manager lässt sich nicht blicken. Arrogante Rezeptionistin, also sowas hab ich bisher noch NIE erlebt. NIE wieder geh ich dahin und rate allen anderen es auch sein zu lassen.

- Andrea (2/5): Forget this place if you want a good holiday! - This place is awful. They confirmed the booking. I was not supposed to re-confirm. However, I sent them a text at 8pm that I would arrive at 9pm as a courtesy. The owner responded at 8.36pm that he sold my room because the check-in was until 8pm. The reception hours are until 10pm by the booking site! The receptionist was rude and very unpolitely stated that they had no more rooms. Obviously they sold my room for more money. Do not trust this place! I ended up running around town at 9pm with 2 small kids to find a room to sleep. They do not take credit card, no parking, and very difficult to find and approach. Avoid it

Professional staff always at your service for every question and problem. Markets nearby. Very affordable offer for summer holidays. Really worth a visit!

- katarinascekic (4/5): Not the best option - So this place has good things and that’s why i put 3 stars. 1. Location is perfect! Beautiful view from the terrace. 2. Very peaceful. In general this whole place Dobre vode is peaceful however David is at the end so there’s no crowd under your balcony or so.. 3. Staff is polite However rooms are very very small and not so clean, bathroom extremely small, and food is terrible. If you’re coming to this place it’s only to sleep there, during the day I suggest you to be somewhere else, especially to eat at other places. Because for the same money you will get much better food. So in general, if you don’t have money to pay another hotel stay here but do not eat here.

- 33sandyt (2/5): Horrible experience - During our stay we had no electricity, therefore no hot water, no air-conditioning, no wifi. The owner is extremely rude,cocky and "know it all", given that he is not older than 35 he should learn more about interaction with the guests. We needed accommodation for a family, since we had a wedding in Dobra Voda, however it turned out to be a nightmare, since we paid 180euros for 2 days of nothing. I had to shower my 5yo with cold water. Enough said. This place is not worth of your money nor your time. Absolutely worst experience ever!
- 725Sarah (2/5): Avoid!!! Double booked us then appalling treatment - Booked this hotel four months before stay. Owner collected us from airport but did not tell us there was no room for us! He dumped us at hotel & sped off leaving his poor staff to deal with it some hours later. Had to sit & watch seven Russian families get checked in on, apparently, late bookings. NO APOLOGIES, just insults from the owner in the end & we were made to feel in the wrong! Just appalling. Thank god we ended up at the lovely Elite Hotel around the bay. Would recommend avoiding David’s due to the attitude & terrible customer treatment from the owner.
- Kim Jesper (8/5): Badeferie i Dobre Vode - Dejligt sted. Personalet var meget flinke og imødekommende. Vi boede nærmest ved poolen og havde en flot udsigt over både hav og land. Vi havde bestilt resortpakke og alt andet ville have krævet en masse daglige tilkøb. Internet/Wifi forbindelse var nærmest en tilfældighed, Wifi virkede fx.ikke på vores værelse. Placering: lige syd for Bar, med gode busforbindelse. Det er et turiststed og du skal væk fra Dobre Vode, hvis du vil opleve andet end bade- og afslapningsferie. Den er en stenstrand som ikke er egnet til de helt små børn, hvor imod poolen er ideel til familier med mindre børn.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Ok hotell. Fin plassering på stranden. - Vi fikk rom ved bassengkanten. Aircondition uten sånn nøkkelkortmas så den kunne stå på hele tiden... Perfekt romplassering med to barn som bader hele dagen. Bassenget er sjøvann som pumpes opp fra havet og tror ikke det renses. Det burde nok byttes hver dag, men da vi var der tok det fem (!) Dager før det ble byttet. Da var det veldig skittent. Vi orka ikke bade I vannet etter et par dager. Det var ikke lett å finne buss fra tivat til dobre vode men vi ble hentet av en I familien til de som eide hotellet for €50. Det passet oss veldig bra. Anbefales! Stranda er fin og kun få meter unna. De strandstolene er dyre å leie, men gjelder stort sett alle strender.

Ontbijt was verschrikkelijk(nog nooit zo slecht gegeten). Gelukkig zijn ook een andere restaurants in de buurt.Geen werkende internet. Hygiene in de WC's en de restaurant niet goed.Geen goede parkeergelegenheid. Rommel/vuilnisbelt rondom de appartementen. Niet mogelijk om te pinnen.

It has poor signage on the way from Albania, and we had to go to Bar and then to Dobra Voda. Beside that everything was fine. Staff, hotel and pool were all very engaging. Will come back.
- 224habibh (10/5): Salsa, sun and chill-out - I loved the Salsa party they organized. A lot of relax people and fun. Also nice for chill-out afternoon on the pool. The area is not so interesting so I would recommend Ruza Vjetrova as well for a runaway.

Cependant attention, je n'ai peut-être pas eu de chance, mais visiblement le patron joue au surbooking. Du coup je n'avais pas de chambre pour ma deuxième nuit (alors que la resa pour 2 nuits avait été confirmée), on m'a trouvé une chambre (très bien) dans un établissement voisin (partenaire?) mais bien sûr un peu plus chère. Bref si c'est habituel chez David, il n'a rien à faire sur Hotel.com

- Jack (6/5): Pretty good - Overall we were happy with our stay. It was a little hard to find as we drove in but once we were settled the staff were very nice. The location is beautiful and the hotel is situated in a nice spot despite there being a lot of people on the beach. They have lounge chairs set up in a secluded area over looking the sea if you want some privacy from the masses. Fun rocks to jump off. No breakfast was included. I would use this place again.
- Kelly (2/5): Hotel did not have our booking - this hotel did not have our booking. Internet service did not work so we were unable to book another hotel online. The hotel suggested we go to their neighbor which was not on the beach. Finding parking was rough. Overcrowded. They charge for beach chairs which is misleading online. No spots to sit at beach because it is completely overcrowded. Do not stay here!!! We drove down the beach to Ada Bojana and it was a wonderful sandy beach that was not crowded although it is clothing optional. Would recommend that instead.

I wrote the hotel for airport transfer and they informed me, that I didn't have a reservation. Called hotels.com who confirmed the reservation and said that the hotel had accepted, they called the hotel, who, WITHOUT INFORMING US! had cancelled our reservation. If I hadn't tried to organise transfer, we would have been in Montenegro without a hotel. Worst service EVER

Notre chambre etait au rez de chausse du coup nous avons du egalement du faire avec les bruits de la rue! La chambre sentait le repas de l'ancien locataire car elle n'avait pas ete aeree!
- christinao90 (8/5): Perfect stay - Stayed for two nights in June with our friends. Got two nice rooms with view over the ocean. David himself helped us find a parking spot when we arrived late and it was almost full in the parking lot. The rooms was really modern and the bathroom was clean and just renovated. We had a water boiler and a refrigerator in our room that we appreciated. We got an free welcome drink in the bar and stayed there until they closed. After one night we decided to stay one more and got a good price from David. We had lunch at their restaurant and it was soooooo good! We all thought it was really yummie, we ate squid, meet, salad so we tried a lot of different food, and it was all good. During the day we were laying on their on beach and didn't have to pay for sun chairs. Sat there all day, had a drink from the bar and just enjoyed peace and quite. Didn't get disturbed at all from kids that were playing in the pool. Had a late check out that we appreciated. Only feedback I want to get is hat David and his staff is more then amazing and I will come back again. But his staff needs to get thought how to use the credit card machine for example. It took like 30 minutes for our check out just because they couldn't really manage how it worked. But we wants in a hurry so it was more then fine. Looking forward to my next visit!

- Kenneth (4/5): Hotel not open yet and not in Bar!!!! - I really can't review the hotel as hotel.com booked us into a hotel that was not even open for the season and had no idea we were coming. Fortunately the people there getting the hotel ready for the season put us in a small apartment building behind the hotel. The location of the hotel is spectacular! I wish we could have stayed in the hotel but we still had a decent view. The website also lists the hotel as being in Bar but it is not. It is in Dobra Voda farther south down the coast so if you want to see Bar you will have to find a cab (which was not easy). Great little spot if you just want to lay on the beach and watch the sunset with a cocktail but not where they said it was

- Dena (10/5): Sun, sea and not so much to do at night - I really loved the fact that it was possible to swim in October in this part of Adriatic. Dobra Voda itself was very quiet (almost boring - as I traveled solo). Reading book, suntanning, swimming is most one can do in October here (assume its perfect for families with kids, but not so great for young solo travelers who would love to have a bit of partying).

- 147alfamale (8/5): really nice :) - we picked this hotel on booking.com and after good reviews on here... we werent disappointed at all... really easy to find if you walk along the sea front, its the last hotel so you cant miss it! We went to the reception and checked in smoothly, good English was spoken and it was easy to do with the offer of help with our bags to the room... One thing to be aware of is there is a tourist tax(compulsory) and also a resort tax(optional) to pay on top of the hotels nightly charge...we booked through booking.com and as a result the resort tax was obligitory and added another 60 euros to the bill that we werent expecting, it does however let you use the loungers on the beach and by the pool with no further charge, and also a welcome drink, so it may be worth checking to see if you can avoid that charge by booking direct with the hotel.. we got to the room in the new block and was pleasantly surprised as to how well it was furnished with a small fridge, tv, aircon, really comfy bed and a fantastically quick induction style one ring cooker. Great view of the pool and sea as well... would recommend room 32 and 34(as we had to use both.. no problems with either.. just how the bookings were taken) the bar and food at the hotel was great, cheap and really nice service from Dan who spoke excellent English and made sure we were well looked after when we used the bar :) the pool area was clean and the loungers plentiful and in good condition, with good access to the beach if you wanted to go there instead. I couldnt really fault the hotel at all for the price we paid, just make sure you check on the resort tax if you book through a 3rd party... One last thing, when we went back to the airport, instead of booking a taxi, Samir and Dan took us back for the same price as the taxi, which gave us peace of mind and didnt have to worry about whether the taxi would arrive on time etc etc, and we thought that was excellent customer service.... Great hotel, would recommend :) thank you to all who made the stay as nice as it was.. Tony and Dan

За все время прибывания у нас в номере ни разу не производилась уборка,замена белья,про wifi можно было просто забыть,он не работал вообще!хорошо хоть додумались и забронировали отель без питания,потому что проходя мимо столовой отеля,постоянно был запах гари!это было просто невыносимо!при отеле есть бассейн,хотели с мужем до обеда просто полежать у бассейна и чуть позагорать,так к нам подошел мужчина из персонала отеля и начал с нас требовать 7 евро за лежаки и зонтики,мы начали ему объяснять,что и не думали что за лежаки у бассейна нужно платить и мы сейчас уйдем,и лучше проведем время на море,так он тут же побежал на ресэпшэн и начал объяснять администратору,чтобы тот в наш счет вписал стоимость лежаков и зонтика!

- 603nataliyac (4/5): The hotel was dissatisfied. - Booked a hotel in November 2013 for July 2014.When arrived at the hotel and showed the book list, it says that no armor they can't see and don't know us, to provide room can't (we have booked 8 months ago!!!). Showed us a double room instead of a triple. From him we refused. For two days we stayed in a quadruple, then , for the entire period in standard triple... Said, sorry, but it was an error with booking. We never understood who this error happened with Your Agency or at the hotel? And again... The hotel is impeding loud music until 01:00 the night of the Tropicana bar, it is impossible to open ocntrol wi-fi is zero. The bathroom has a washbasin , toilet and shower faucet in the wall (without shutters). Always water on the floor. Hooks for towels no. Towels size 40cm on 70cm - one for each resident. Cleaning of rooms only on request at the reception. When you try to leave earlier from the hotel - do not return money. - Janne (6/5): Bra läge. - Fantastiskt läge vid strand och restaurangstråk. Personalen är trevlig. Riktigt risiga badrum i den äldre hotellbyggnaden, som dessvärre ej framgår i informationen. Wifi väldigt svajigt, under all kritik. Poolen full med sand.
- Sabina (8/5): Exceptional service but tiny rooms - I feel like I only want to recommend this hotel, the staff was the most service minded people I met on my entire trip, and the restaurant (a la carte) is good. However, you must be prepared for tiny rooms and very loud music from an outdoor bar nearby (however, this can probably be heard in the entire beach area). The showers are tiny too and you shower on top of the toilet and sink..
- Chad Proctor (8/5): looked like a nice place, but not able to stay - I booked this hotel an hour before my planned arrival time via hotels.com. The hotel was difficult to find in the dark since the location is out of season for tourists. Upon arrival we found the hotel wasn't open or occupied. We checked with a market owner up the road and he confirmed this by calling the owner. It appears that the hotel would be very nice and in a great location at the end of a boardwalk when it is open. I had to book another hotel in Bar for the evening...the hotel hasn't tried to charge me for the night which I was worried about having to dispute a credit card charge, so that is a good thing!
- work1travel2 (8/5): Ocean front stay for a week. - Charming European style hotel. Very happy with the choice. Found the hotel to be clean, modern and well maintained. On site is a well priced bistro serving freshly prepared meals and salads. Wait service was attentive but relaxed. Original booking was supposed to be for 3 days. Felt content to change the stay to a week. There is a pool and ocean side lounge areas. The pricing for the week stay was incredibly reasonable. Met the owner of the hotel several times during my stay. Was appreciative that he took the time to always greet me and ask if the stay was going well. The owner and a few of the staff spoke english . Made things easier for me. Wish I could have stayed longer.

- Martina (10/5): 270 degrees of sun - AMAZING - We really enjoyed the stay in this place... Our balcony was frontal so we were able to face the sun all the time.. The view was incredible.. Although its not luxurious place, David Dobre Vode had all we needed. The place was clean, neat, friendly and its cuisine is exceptional. Still remember the mussels we had there. Mmm.. Wish we could stay longer and hope we will come again.

There are no ATMs s - Dobre Vode seem to be nice and idilic place til you realise that place has lot of infrastructure problems like sewege and water Making this place although very pretty undesirable . I was amazed that basic sanitary is not in place .. For people wanting to holiday in Montenegro they are better off staying in Bar and driving to the beaches .. Its much cheaper to stay this way rather than in places like Dobre Vode

- Slavisa (4/5): - Manglede varmt vand hver morgen. Fik at vide at man brugte solfangere til at opvarme vandet med og derfor kom der først varmt vand efter frokost. Desuden var der heller ikke jævn temperatur på vandet, skiftede konstant mellem koldt vandt og brand varm. Umuligt at tage ordentlig bad. Ingen rengøring eller i det mindste udskiftning af håndklæderne. Hotelet ligger godt i forhold til strand men området omkring er kedeligt. Kun et par meget små butikker.
- 1life4ever (8/5): Ask for a studio in new building otherwise youll get stuck in a matchbox - Overall general experience is worth the visit if you are coming this way. The hotel has two buildings one old and one new. Expect new furniture trendy decor and wifi in the new one. But may the stars not allow you to stay in the old building youll get a bathroom 1x1 meter, no fridge, no wife, room like a matchbox, of course both building are extremely clean and great view but a mile a away in the difference. So ask for a studio in the new building. Other hotel alternatives around there are Deus, and XXL. David and the others are located in a small bay with pebble stones beach, full of great very economic restaurants and entertainment. Perfect for families but not for a partying travelling couple. Solo is also good. Friends and groups recommended.

- Anton340 (10/5): Awesome place! - We had a marvelous stay in David, Dobre Vode. Wonderful interiors, very good service and some excellent dining too. The best thing of all is that beach is few steps from the hotel which is very cool. Extra add on is free parking and WiFi. Hotel is very easy to find. I personally liked the the staff a lot. They were very friendly, communicative and very helpful about everything we asked. I highly recommend this hotel.
- RicardoG970 (10/5): Great place for vacations - Great location, right next to the beach, very close to all important spots including restaurants, bars, shops, etc. Right in the middle of the action!!!! You have an access to salt water pool. In addition to that free WiFi and parking!!!!!! Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are smart and easy to communicate with. You will always get help if you need one. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone.
- lancecampeau (8/5): Fun place to stay, the place for fun!! - Great location on the beach with an excellent restaurant and selections of bars on site as well as plenty more all in walking distances..Free wi-fi is a bonus..Rooms are a bit spartan and tight if in a triple or quad (they just add a bed to the room)..Free parking as well but actually finding the hotel is a bit of a chore..Easier if you keep your eyes peeled and follow the signs for the XXL Hotel!! You will think that the path/road can't possibly be for the hotel but it is!!!..Staff are fun and helpful..The salt-water pool is better than the actual beach..Beach is one of those round stone types so flip-flops are pretty much an essential..There is also a beachfront promanade that goes on for about 1 mile with plenty of snacks shops, souvenir stalls and more bars & restaurants..Rooms are only cleaned/beds made every three days..If your garbage can is full, leave it in the hallway to be emptied..No shower curtain and poor quality toilet paper but these are very minor things. You are charged for use of the table and pool chaises around the pool but the initial low price more than makes up for this.
