The bed was very comfortable and the apartment we had was facing the rear of the property and very quiet. The small 800 watt oil fin heater (the only source of heating) was completely inadequate to warm the room.

- Kathleen (5/5): Not ideal. - I’m not sure why it is rated as 4 star accommodation. I’ve stayed in far nicer 3 star accommodation many times. Through circumstances beyond the control of the property there was no water supply when I checked in. I was assured it would be running by 5pm but at 7.00 it was still not working. I was offered an option of going to another hotel for a shower so I could go out for the evening, (I’m 70 and female and didn’t feel comfortable with this option) Finally got checked in to another hotel nearby- my afternoon and evening were wasted but I was grateful for alternative accommodation.

Slightly old tired decor but still very clean. Had a mishap with the dryer - has an extended cool down period keeping the door locked which was a slight issue on checkout but resolved helpfully by the staff. Apart from a small hanging space no space to unpack belongings (no drawers) - unusual for an apartment hotel.

- Katie_ann (8/5): - Lovely and accommodating staff throughout, sorted an early check in for me when I arrived off the back of an overnight bus and grabbed things for me throughout my stay when I approached them. Self contained apartment was well equipped with a kitchen and supplies to cook, a good sized bathroom with a washer drier and a TV in the bedroom. Ability to store luggage before and after check in is a big win as the location is very central so you can get out an explore a lot. Lots of lovely restaurants and cafes near by - there is a doughnut shop a few doors down you really must try (they even have gluten and dairy free doughnuts and toasties!). The only thing that caught me off guard is reception is not 24 hour, and they close for a few hours midday which to me was a bit odd - however when I had an issue with my key I rang the number provided and someone popped by to help me!

Put us in an apartment that had a double room , could hear the people next door talking and they would have been able to hear us. Of the numerous time we have stayed there the quality if the apartment was terrible.

- Nina (7/5): Prob won't stay again despite good location - No breakfast facility. Bad communication from receptionists not pro active or indeed accurate responding to parking information request or early checkin despite my calling an hour before arrival to ensure timely access and no parking holdup explaining I needed to change for performance at Cuba Dupa with time constriction. I arrived amd couldn't get in not told no one on reception till 12.30. Had to park car in only space on Rd in loading zone not having been informed could access and park from C floor up in parking building across Rd without need of immediate voucher. Check-in onerously slow and perfunctory being asked the same question 3 times. I had an injured foot and had to unnecessarily carry my luggage twice back and forth because of no access and parking misinformation. Toilet downstairs locked when need it. I had requested early checkin as week before when booking had expected an email response from Property before arrival to confirm would had time to make other plans if not able to. All and all unnecessarily stressful.
