• Judith (7/5): I would stay in the medium romantic instead next time. - The traditional decor No reception on site and breakfast only available in a sister hotel. No staff on site at all. I thought I wouldn’t mind but I did. Also there is a notice advising that the hot water runs out and you have to wait half an hour for it to heat up. This is true. Whilst I was lucky with my baths, my partner got cold water and a delay.

Very old building with a corresponding smell from old furniture. No lift - if you have heavy baggage - it’s hard to go by stairs. Very thin walls - you can here all neighbors. But if you like old-time vibe - everything is ok

Tienes dos zonas de aparcamientos GRATUITOS a 15m ( caminando) Tuve un percance y no podía asistir, avise una semana antes y aún así no me pudieron Cancelar la abitación. Pedi ser 2 personas envés de 3 para poder solucionar el problema, me dijeron que si, pero el precio era el mismo. La verdad podrían tener un poco más de flexibilidad. No estaba avisado un dia antes, ni el mismo dia... Sino una semana antes ! La verdad que ya fui de mala gana...

Drugi budynek nie serwuje śniadań trzeba dojść do głównego . Niski poziom jakości i udogodnień w części budynku nazwanej Medium Renaixenca. Pokoje fatalnie sprzątane wszędzie pełno włosów od personelu na podłodze i pościeli . Obiekt jest urządzony w dość specyficznym stylu nie dla każdego.

Un immense merci à Denise pour sa gentillesse, son accueil (en français svp) et sa disponibilité. C'est sûr que nous reviendrons un jour dans ce petit bijou d'hôtel. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel !!! Les chambres au rez-de-chaussée à l'arrière ont accès à un petit jardin/ terrasse. C'est parfait pour lire et se détendre 😍 Juste une suggestion : ajouter une clef à code sur la porte principale. Tout le reste était parfait !

• Deborah (10/5): Sitges is a place I return to annually , definitely would stay there again. - Beautiful, I really enjoyed all the original art in the stairway and in the lounge area. Service staff was very helpful and readily accessible. Very well maintained and perfect location. I didn’t know there wasn’t an elevator, steep steps to reach our room. If I were to stay there again I would like a room on the ground floor.

• Katarzyna (10/5): Loved the old school feeling of the hotel, very human touch, very clean, excellent value for price - balcony, old furniture, beautiful interiors the front door could be with a pass key not regular key - it was a bit stressful to make sure I don't lose it and cause lock change. Front door is also loud but for me it was not a big deal because I sleep with earplugs when travelling.

• Sandra (9/5): A hotel with soul in the heart of Sitges: 1897 character holds a peaceful harbour - The Renaixença has the charm, privacy and quiet efficiency that I required for a week sojourn for artistic and soul inspiration. The room had a lovely patio onto a garden, beautiful period piece wood furniture and azulejos. The bed was huge for one person and while it had a TV It was never necessary to turn it on as the days were sunny and the streets, restaurants and museums of Sitges were right around the corner. There was also a sitting room that entered on to the garden and a terrace on to the top floor which was perfect for a night view. The breakfast was a queen's feast! There are only small repairs that could be done in room number 2: the toilet seat is broken, the wall lamp on the right side of the bed needs a screw to stay secure, the plastic molding around the doors leading to the patio need to be glued down and the curtain holders at the rod holding the patio down curtains are missing. Very small details that did not interfere with the comfort and joy of my visit. I only want this lovely 19th century house turned into a lovely hotel to be around for years to come for many to enjoy. I will return for sure.

Tiene un gancho especial, ideal para quienes disfrutamos de lo paranormal y las historias con carácter. Es como entrar en una novela de Agatha Christie: te da esa sensación de que, en cualquier apagón, podría empezar un misterio fascinante. Lo mejor: Ubicación inmejorable: A tan solo 150 metros de la estación de tren y autobuses. Ideal para moverse con rapidez. El descanso: La habitación es cómoda y cuenta con una cama de grandes dimensiones que garantiza un sueño reparador. Personalidad: Es un sitio pintoresco, lejos de la frialdad de las cadenas hoteleras modernas. Puntos a mejorar: El baño: Mantiene un estilo vintage que me encanta, pero necesita una actualización técnica. El agua caliente es muy escasa; alcanza para una ducha rápida y, si alguien más la usa al mismo tiempo, el segundo se queda sin agua. El jardín: Es un espacio pequeño con mucho potencial para ser hermoso, pero le falta mantenimiento. Energía (Feng Shui): La fuente del jardín está seca, lo cual es una lástima para el flujo de energía del lugar. ¡Arreglar eso cambiaría toda la vibración de la entrada! Conclusión: A pesar de los detalles técnicos del agua y el jardín, la esencia del lugar es mágica. Sin duda volvería. Un hotel con alma de misterio, pero falto de cuidado Puntuación: ⭐⭐⭐ El hotel es sumamente pintoresco, con un gancho especial para los amantes de la actividad paranormal. Tiene una personalidad arrolladora y detalles que te transportan a una serie de Agatha Christie, pero lamentablemente, el descuido empaña la experiencia. El potencial que no se aprovecha: Las fuentes y el Feng Shui: Es una lástima ver fuentes sin agua. No solo afecta la estética, sino la energía del lugar. Además, hay pérdidas de agua en instalaciones (como la pileta rota que filtraba por debajo), lo cual denota falta de mantenimiento preventivo. Los jardines: Ambos hoteles (que están hermanados) tienen jardines con un potencial enorme, pero se ven desprolijos. Un jardín arreglado cambiaría totalmente la primera impresión del huésped. Servicios básicos: El estilo "vintage" del baño es encantador, pero debe ser funcional. El agua caliente es tan justa que apenas permite una ducha rápida, y desaparece si otro huésped abre el grifo.

Hot water high temperature but limited duration. Not much storage space in main room or bathroom for arranging necessary items. Not enough electrical outlets.

La réception se situe dans l’hôtel principal mais cela n'était pas dérangeant car à 1min à pied. On s'y rend pour le petit déjeuner que l'on prend dans un jardin intérieur ! Les chambres sont grandes et le balcon est divin La salle de bain est vraiment petite et il n'y a pas beaucoup d'eau chaude... Dommage quand on rentre de la plage

• Avista (7/5): Great location and friendly staff, cleanliness could be improved. - Really great location, close to the station and town centre and only about a 5 minute walk to the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and beds were comfortable and the downstairs area was cute and a nice place to sit. The bathroom was not the cleanest, there was some hair in the bath and a few stains. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable. The walls are also very thin so you can hear the people in the room next to you - if they are loud that can be a bother.

The rooms were large and the beds were very comfy. Breakfast was at the sister hotel around the corner, which we enjoyed in the courtyard garden. Staff were very helpful throughout our stay. Would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again Nothing

• Hannah Carey Smyth (5/5): Beautiful and well located but not great for a peaceful stay - The building is beautiful, as was the room itself. The location is also ideal. It was not a great fit for us, but would be a fine choice for a party weekend or if you don't plan to spend much time in the room. The walls here are extremely thin to the extent we could hear entire phone conversations in the next room even at a normal volume. Most of the plug sockets in the room didn't work. The towels were also dirty when we checked in, though to be fair we didn't notice this initially and so did not report to reception to give them the opportunity to fix it. Also some of the photos on the booking.com listing are actually of their sister hotel around the corner.

Sitges is a very nice place to stay in Barcelona. - The property was comfortable and at a pleasant location near the sea. There was one instance when electricity went out and we were scared for the moment because nothing worked. We dint have local phones running as well and handsets dint work, but that issue was sorted after a bit. One major concern was that there was no lift and our room was on the second floor. Secondly i had issues with meat in the breakfast, so not every food was properly labelled and there was a lot of cross contamination.

• Pierre (9/5): - La petite ville de Sitges, situation ideale pour visiter Barcelone à 35 mn en train (Le R2 est très pratique). L'hôtel est charmant ainsi que son personnel. Petit déjeuner copieux à volonté. C'est parfait. Le bruit dans la rue une bonne partie de la nuit. Des personnes dans la chambre voisines qui parlaient fort également toute la nuit. Mais nous ne regrettons pas notre choix. Les soirées dans Sitges sont très agréables et les restaurants abordables et bons.

• Joyce112233 (10/5): This place deserves 5 stars and no less - I really don’t know how people can give this place less than 5 stars. The value for money is incredible. Me and my partner stayed here from 12th - 15th March. On arrival you check in around the corner at the sister hotel, the staff were so friendly and polite. The tourism tax was literal pocket change (around 3-4 euros). This was a cheap city break for us and we did not go with expectations of a 5 star establishment. The room exceeded our expectations, high ceilings and nice and airy. We opted for the room with a balcony. The room was clean, fresh towels daily if you wish and the water pressure was great. The room was simply just a place to sleep for us and we could not complain at all. Please don’t listen to the bad or “mediocre” reviews. This place is cheap and cheerful. If you are after a clean place to stay then I cannot recommend this place enough. Our trip cost us £192.00 for 2 of us for 3 nights (flights included through EasyJet). The hotel is also in a great location. 2 minute walk to the train station and maximum 5 minutes to the nightlife with lovely restaurants, cafes and bars. We will be back - thank you again.

• Corina (7/5): OK hotel vlakbij station en centrum van Sitges - De locatie vlak bij het station. Vriendelijke staf. Het inchecken was wat ingewikkeld. Je checkt namelijk bij een ander hotel van dezelfde keten in. Verder heeft het hotel geen lift en vier trappen op met een zware koffer is een hele toer.

People on reception were really helpful 🥰 They helped me with bus& train schedules and they let me use the microwave. They were very nice and friendly! • Anna (5/5): Lovely building and location, but the noise insulation makes it hard to rest. - The hotel is located in a beautiful historic building, which gives it a special charm and atmosphere. I also found the location very convenient — everything in Sitges is easily reachable from here. Another thing I would like to highlight is the staff. Everyone I interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely tried to be helpful whenever needed. That part of the stay was truly pleasant. Unfortunately, there is one issue that significantly affected my experience: the sound insulation. The noise between rooms is extremely strong. I could clearly hear conversations, movements, and basically everything happening in neighboring rooms. At times I could also hear staff phones ringing while rooms were being cleaned. Because of this, the overall level of noise can become very uncomfortable, especially when neighbors are not particularly mindful. I stayed for several nights, and the experience varied a lot depending on who was staying nearby. On some nights I was lucky and it was quiet. On others, the noise made it very difficult to rest. As someone who is sensitive to sound, this unfortunately had a major impact on my stay. Despite the building, location, and kind staff, this issue makes it unlikely that I would choose to stay here again.
