- Nicole (10/5): Wunderschöne Cottage mit Bergblick und Pool - Wir waren fĂŒr 5 NĂ€chte in einer der Cottages und haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt. Die Anlage ist extrem sauber, sicher, wunderschön grĂŒn und verfĂŒgt ĂŒber einen tollen Pool mit Liegen und Schirme. Auf dem Weingut selbst kann man sehr gute Wine Tastings machen. Die Cottage ist mit allem ausgestattet was man zur Selbstverpflegung braucht. Sehr gute Restaurants sind nicht weit entfernt (5 bis max. 10 Minuten Fahrt). Wir waren in der Cottage 11, welche sich ganz hinten auf dem GelĂ€nde befindet und einen umwerfenden Blick auf die Bergkette ermöglicht - unserer Meinung nach die schönste Aussicht dort. Wir haben nichts zu bemĂ€ngeln. Man befindet sich auf deinem landwirtschaftlichen GelĂ€nde, daher sollte einem bewusst sein, dass auch morgens um 6 Uhr oder spĂ€t abends mal Traktoren zu hören sind. Das gehört in der Region aber dazu. :)
- Claude (8/5): Y aller pour le site et la piscine ! - TrÚs bien indiqué ( explications par mail trÚs claires et bien anticipées ), le site est trÚs beau, sécurisé et la piscine entourée de vignes est trÚs agréable , trÚs bonne literie, logement spacieux Sols en béton vieux moyennement propres et des fourmis dans salle de bain (bombe anti insectes à notre disposition mais quasi vide !) dommage car il manque peu de choses pour faire de ce cottage un lieu beaucoup plus qualitatif

- Nicholas (10/5): Consistently excellent - This was out third stay at Saronsberg and we would not hesitate to return. The setting amongst the vineyards is beautiful with incredible views of the surrounding mountains. The pool is a lovely touch (especially in summer when the heat can be quite intense). They have extended the area surrounding the pool and added more beds, which was welcome. Pool towels are provided. The cottage was high quality, very well appointed and had everything you needed to self cater. Plenty of wood provided to braai. The tasting room is in a gorgeous setting and staff were great. Tasty cheese platter. Our cottage was probably the smallest of the cottages we have had (the bathroom was very compact) and was the furthest from the tasting room, but this did mean that it was quiet and not overlooked. The wifi was intermittent during our stay.

Wenn man nicht gerade am Wochenende anreist, findet man hier absolute Ruhe und Erholung. Die Cottages sind sehr gut ausgestattet und bieten alles, was man fĂŒr einen Aufenthalt benötigt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wenn man Hilfe benötigt.

- Simone (7/5): Beautiful, beautiful place, delightful wines and cozy fires - a pity the views were limited - The location is stunning, being in walking distance of the most beautiful wine tasting room was amazing, the walks and MTB trails around the farm are an added bonus, and the accommodation was clean and cozy. The fireplace and complimentary wood and coffee pods were a nice touch. The water pressure is immense and the water gets very hot, when cold it is delicious to drink as it is not municipal water. The kitchen, for a four sleeper self-catering unit could have been better equipped. Having to cook on a student type hob and mini-oven appliance doesn't allow for much cooking or much variety and having only one pan, one pot and a tong set that had a loose end was also limiting - but we managed a breakfast fry up (using the only small pan, the pot, the oven dish, both hob plates and the oven), and a woolies lasagne and salad for supper. The "complimentary" olive oil was not apparent either which was a sadness. The cottages face in such a way that there are only partial views of the gorgeous mountains beyond and instead of vineyards you look at the back of the cottage in front of you, shade cloth farming structures, alien trees and heaps of rock. The winter sun couldn't enter the room at all as the windows are fairly small and not well placed (maybe it's better in summer?). I mean the views are amazing (if you sit outside on the stoep), but the planning of the buildings could have been better. The shower heads were rather exciting and might do better being changed to directional ones that keep the water in the shower and directed at one's head.
